Re-Lock bit-locker feature is yet not implemented

Bit-locker is a really good feature implemented by Microsoft but unfortunately they left a small drawback on it by not Adding a re-lock option to lock the drive.. its been a long time i have been looking for this update but unfortunately it hasn't yet
came so when will this drawback will be reconsidered and taken some necessary actions, also restarting your computer all the time to lock the driver is kinda a frustration for the user's and what if someone wants to use your laptop or computer then what do
we have to restart the computer and give them to use it. come on that's not practical so please take some serious consideration about this small little area and bring up a new update for it.

There seems to be no option available to relock the drive with BitLocker UI option, further, we could take use of the command line to lock the drive:
manage-bde -lock D:

Script locking feature request / revision note feature request

1) I have come to find Story because I just can not find an acceptable solution to collaboration on scripts with another writer - especially in the proof-reading stage where we will both be going through a script from front to back making many small changes.
I would love it if Story were smart enough to lock the single page in a script that is currently being edited, instead of locking the whole script. Imagine how useful it would be for a team to break a longer script into parts (first 20 pages, 21-40 etc.) But, for a two person writing team, which I don't think is that unusual, it would be nice to have a smarter locking / merge functionality.
2) I would love it if on a manual "Save" there were an option to add a note for revision history (like you can do in version control systems.) I'm not sure that Story is actually keeping old versions, but it would be nice if it were.
Example:
Revision 45: added picnic scene
Revision 41: character name correction
Revision 32: Bar fight

We want to support page and scene level locking but this is going to take sometime. We have a few other basic things to get done before we get to this.
Revision history with notes is a good idea. We'll add it to our list.

How do i turn off the auto lock feature? In my options it does not have "never" on it. It is only timed amounts.

I've got options for 2, 5, 10, 15 minutes and Never. Have you got an Exchange email account on your iPad ? 'Never' can be removed so as to protect a company's potentially sensitive email - they may not want the iPad being left/stolen with the emails on it accessible. If you remove the account the Never option will probably reappear

Auto-Lock Feature incomplete, there is no "Never"-Option available (OS 3.0)

since today i've got a Problem with my settings menu:
When i go to Settings, General, Auto-Lock I can only select Timeouts between 1 and 5 minutes, but the Option "Never", isn't available anymore.
So it isn't possilbe that the Display stays on until manual switch off by pressing the hardware button.
Usually i used this function, when I was driving car and listened to Music on the iPhones iPod. For navigation-apps this option is also very nice to have.
I've read in other forums around there in the internet, that some other users have similar problems, but none of them has the final solution.
I found out the following:
when i go to Settings, Mail,Contacts,Calendars, then Select my Exchange-Account and turn the three switches "Mail,Contacts,Calendars" in the following menu off.
Then the Option "Auto-Lock", "Never" is available again... yippie!
BUT: as soon as i switch on my Exchange again to sync data with the server, the option "Auto-Lock" "Never" is again not available and doesn't appear in the Options-list.
Anyone any idea??? I think its a Bug in the new OS 3.0, because i didn't have this behavior before. It appeared for the first time about 1 week after updating to OS 3.0

So i've read some of the posts on this forum, but the most critical part of this problem is in my opinion, that there is a stand-alone iPhone Feature (in this case Auto-Lock), which is affected by Exchange-Server settings that are not fine-tuned for the iPhone.
I think many other exchange users like me also have only a hosted exchange account, where it isn't possible to change the server settings on the go.
You have to contact your Exchange provider in this case and ask him to change the settings. This settings are of global nature for all users of the Exchange server, not only for those who use an iPhone with the Exchange server. So I think some of the Hosting-Providers are not willing to change their Default-Server-settings because of security-reasons.
BUT: (and this is what makes me a bit angry)
If Apple says that the iPhone supports MS Exchange, then it must also support the password and security Settings of the latest supported Exchange-Server-System.
And furthermore it should not affect basic-iPhone-functions such as Device-Auto-Lock and so on... If there is a solid software architecture which is fully tested and bugfixed, this should NEVER happen.. In other industries e.g. automotive you couldn't sell software with bugs like this one.
Just imagine you have a car on which the engine always turns off automatically after 1 minute TimeOut, just because you are hearing the wrong Radio-Station. If you disable the Radio or tune to another station, the engine stays on, as long as you want that by turning the ignition-key on/off.
Sorry about my frustration, but it's really annoying for me...

Is there a way to "fully" disable, or delete, the passcode lock feature on an iPad?

i am incharge of 50 iPads for ur schol district and have been creating profiles and enabling restrictions on the iPads. today i came across the 'passcode lock' feature, that i am sure all are fimiliar with. if i set that with a code, any student can use that same code to reset the passcode to anythng their little hearts desire. ca this feature be removed from the iPads .. or at least hidden?

Sorry but no, there is not, at least none I've heard of. There are several such issues that complicate the use of iPads in classrooms. Most school districts I've read comments from here seem to just have gotten used to the idea that they'll have to reconfigure the iPads from time to time.

HT1212 I lost my itouch, how do I use "activation lock" feature? How do I know if my itouch was an ios7?

I lost my Itouch and read that if it was an ios7, that I can activate a feature that will lock it. Im not talking about the basic features of "play sound" or "lost mode" that are under the "locate my iphone" feature in icloud. I read that there is another feature called "activation lock" that only ios7 can do that prevents the thief from selling it or reseting it to factory settings. Only the 5G iPod can get iOS 7. iOS 7 was released in September of this year. Onyy you would know if you have a 5G iPod and if you updated it to iOS 7

Nokia 701 call screen lock feature?

Hi nokia community,
was wondering if there is call screen lock feature in nokia belle? Because i couldn't find it any where in my nokia 701, even there is no option to edit the normal lock screen or button?
Why there are bugs and such small and important features are missing in nokia's belle OS?
Please help me feel like i'm using a smartphone.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hmm..I am not sure..call nokia care in your country.
I am not having anything to complain about regarding how my 701 behaves with incoming calls or things about "lock screen"..sorry.
PS Try out "Nokia sleeping screen" for nice "lock screen" features when phone is asleep..Nokia store..

My wife's phone had similar symptoms, at least with the text notification alert not working. I have narrowed it down to happening after we use the new navigation feature in the Maps. When we power the phone off and back on, the alert sound seems to return. I haven't tried just "killing" the Maps app after we use it...perhaps that would work as well.

Apple hasn't done anything. This is a security feature that you did not check to see had been properly de-activated before buying the phone.
If there was a back door, it would be useless as a security feature.

Does Lumia 1020 has video lock features

Facebook/Lock feature & OS 5.0

I updated my OS on my 8900 to the latest version yesterday. Firstly, the lock button on the top of the BB doesnt lock the phone anymore, it just puts it into standby. Secondlay the FB app is not getting notifications etc.
Anyone else noticed this? Any solutions? The apps issue is a biggie and as Im due a phone upgrade Im seriously considering an android based phone.

Not sure about the FB notification as I don't have that app on my device.
About the standby/lock feature, that was introduced with OS 5.0. If you don't have a password on your device, then that top button just places the device in standby. Once you put a password on your device and the security timeout interval passes, or you lock the device, then you'll be prompted to unlock the device

We need application lock features on our phones!!!

Why don't Verizon have application lock features on there new phones. No not restriction, no not phone lock, no not keypad lock. We need application lock which allows you to lock certain features and protecting your messages and pictures and contacts etc..... we need to smash this forum down with complaints.

And then my PC boots so slow.
I play Wining Eleven 7 adn it goes slow, not as usuall.
