RE-LUM (Land Use Management )

Gurus,
From what I understand the RE-LUM (Land Use Management) all control is done by parcel of land: Land Register, about owners, related rights, encumbrances and restrictions, etc. ..
How can I get these same controls the land for a property?

In my case i expand the LAND Master including the informations about Registry (IPTU), Water and other entries real estate;
You can do this through BAPI 'REEX_FI_BAPI'.
I study to use LUM but my conclusion was that will be more easier to do this ampliation.

We have a requirement to produce reports for Land Use Management in BI which is part of Flexible Real Estate, I have looked at the BI content on our system which is a BI 7 support stack 15.
We are going onto Enhancement Pack 1 next month, but cannot find if this will be available as part of this.
I have searched and searched and cannot seem to find the information I need. I am looking for a land parcel info object which is a country specific Germany.

The City of Cape Town implemented the sub-module RE LUM (Land Use Management) out of Germany as it was a close fit to the South African cadastre and land registration system. Adaptions in RE LUM configuration had to be done because of the differences in the land administration hierarchy between Germany and South Africa.
To use RE LUM in another country, you have to understand how that country has set up and runs its cadastre and land rights system, so that the land administration hierarchy can be adapted successfully.
By the way, the City of Cape Town maintains over 700,000 land parcels and 17,000 Sectional Title Units (condominium unit ownership) in the RELUM system, together with over 1,5 million land ownership records.

Sharepoint 2010 question : Error while deploying wsp file in using managment shell (power script)

When I tried to deploy the wsp's using managment shell (power shell scripts) everything looks good.
When I go and take a look the "manage farm solutions" thru sharepoint central admin, I see the deployment failed in two servers.
Error is
Could not load file or assembly 'c:\windows\Temp\solution-cxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\xxx.xxx.dll" or one of its dependencies. Access is denied.
Can you please let me know what could be the reason.
Note : I have two app servers and two web servers setup. The deployment is sucessful in 2 apps servers . but 2 web servers are giving error.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to failed to deploy the wsp's using managment shell.
You need to make sure that the dll is registered in the GAC.
Go to %Windows%\assembly. If the dll isn't there , you need to install it to the GAC on the server. Simply drag it into that folder in Windows Explorer, and it should install itself.

We want to create custom folder in mailbox as root or inside inbox for every user of mailbox but not using managed folder .
I have found below article , but we do not get success to do that .

I'm assuming you're running Exchange 2007 (since you're posting in the 2003/2007 forum, and this won't work on 2003), is that correct?
While I don't know for sure that the script will work on 2007, have you ensured that you've amended the file paths to the correct locations? Eg, assuming it should work you'll need to amend the line :

to reflect the version of Exchange you're running, and the line :

If don't change the default config, We are unble to download master page.
It's better to create your own (perhaps based on the default.master) and use that master page.

Landed Cost manager Program is scheduled to run everyday but it did not run

Hi All,
Landed Cost manager Program is scheduled to run everyday but it did not run for 2 days and there was no error; it did not start even though it is a scheduled prog to run every 30 mins.
Please let me know if anyone has experienced similar cases before; also let me know if you have any clue for above? I am also researching on if there is any way to send notifications when a scheduled prog did not run even.
Any suggestions are welcome and also would like to get your thoughts on notification part if this is possible to track.

Assuming no error can be found in the DB/CM log files, have you verified the scheduled settings for this program? Try to schedule it again and see if this helps.

Using Manager Hierarchy in custom page

Hello,
Just like we have in the seeded page where when a manager logs in using manager self-service, he/she will be able to view all their employees, Can we do the same in the custom page? Below is the function details but in my custom page, i don't have workflow. I just want to display all the employees working under that manager and the hierarchy. Also the action button which will naviage to my custom page.

Caml query using managed metadata column

I am having a console appln, where i want to pass the one paramater in the form of siteCol1:subsite1:subsite2 where siteCol1:subsite1:subsite2 is the path of subsite which is in MMS.
Can i pass this string paramter to the splist which contains a taxonomy column   and match this paramter in the listitemcollection and fetch only those recordw which matches this crirteria.
and it should fetch the values which matches in a splist. the caml query it expects contains the taxonomy -managed metadata column - , but i am stuck with

If you prefer managed metadata in Search, then I'd suggest you find workaround to use managed metadata column in lookup column. You could use a workflow to copy the managed metadata column to a text field, make the text field to be hidded from the list if
necessary. Then lookup this text field in other list.

Your backing bean can access the bindings object and get the value of the attribute from there in your code.

SQL Server services accounts using Managed Service Accounts

Hi guys,
Need your feedback on something, is it wiser to use Managed Service Accounts or normal domain accounts to run SQL Server services? MSA's only work in a single computer, so for every environment I would need to create a new set of sql services accounts.
If I create a single account wouldn't it be simpler? For instance domain\sqlservices and set it on every service and every environment (dev, qa and production)

Moving pages using Manage Site content and structure is corrupting the version history

Hi,
I am using share point 2010 manage site content and structure feature to move pages from one sub site to other. After doing several edits and check ins of a page and if I try to move the page using manage site content and structure , the version history
is corrupted in the destination site (i.e., all the versions are not showing).
Note: Sometimes content is also getting replicated after performing move operation.
Is it a Bug/ Known issue in SharePoint?

Aperture Quits when using Manage Referenced Files

Hello everybody
All my images are on an external hard drive, but since the last Aperture update, It has several problems to connect them. When I try to reconnect them all using "Manage Referenced Files..." option, Aperture suddenly quits (whan I press reconnect button).
Is this normal? Is there anything I can do?

Hi,
It's entirely possible that if you were experiencing this frequently prior to the update, that errors have crept into the database. Does this tend to happen to all raws, old ones, or new ones?
Another consideration is that if the raws are large, then you may need to upgrade to 8GB.

When to use Managed Metadata service in Sharepoint 2013 and 2010

I have been working on sharepoint from quiet some time now. I have been using managed metadata service also.
What I have not been able to find out so far is when should I be using MMS.
What are the real advantages that I can draw out of it.
I have one application that has Managed Metadata installed and has various terms stores and terms.
The Managed metadata service created is utilized in search,
What I do not know is what is why are we using it at all.
What is benefit of it.
Managed metadata service could also be used in navigation is what i know.
But what confused me is when is the best scenario to use it for navigation.
Why can we not use the navigation provider in the managed metadata service.
There might be other uses also, but that is not clear to me.
Can any one tell me why and in which scenario to really use it.
I know how to configure the mms and how it works though the jargons around the managed metadata.

Managed Metadata has some specific advantages that make it useful for certain situations.
A managed metadata column has the following advantages over a lookup or choice column:
A managed metadata term set can be shared across the entire SharePoint farm, so you can use it in different site collections.
You can set up "synonyms" so that multiple similar terms resolve to the same underlying piece of information
Terms can be hierarchical (terms can be nested under other terms), and the SharePoint interface allows hierarchical filtering. For example, if I have a term set for Location, and one of my terms is North America, with terms below that for United States,
Mexico, and Canada, I could choose to filter my list to show me all records with any North America location (inclusive of US, Mexico, and Canada), or to filter on a specific term (such as Mexico).
You can allow people to enter new terms, which will then appear in the term set.
You can specify information owners/stakeholders who maintain the term sets without them needing elevated access to sites; normally only site owners can mess with site columns and content types. Managed metadata lets you separate information management
(what terms/synonyms should be used) from site management (granting access, creating groups and lists, etc).
There are some disadvantages too. For example, with a lookup column, the lookup list can store additional columns of information. A managed metadata term set (on the other hand) only really stores terms (and descriptions/synonyms), but not related
info. You might be tempted to do something like create a term set for part numbers, representing every part that your company produces; the term set would handle the part numbers just fine, but wouldn't let you add extra columns of information for
description, weight, price, etc. In such a case, a lookup list is the better option.

Managed metadata is not a good option if the potential metadata meets any of the following criteria:
Is represented by a built-in column (such as “last modified date”)
Has an infinite number of valid values
Has different valid values in each location that it is used (such as different values for the “version” attribute depending on which product team’s site the item appears in)*
Has only “yes” and “no” as valid values
*This type of metadata could still be captured in site collection-specific term stores

Error 349 (net::ERR_RESPONSE_HEADERS_MULTIPLE_CONTENT_DISPOSITION): Multiple distinct Content-Disposition headers received. This is disallowed to protect against HTTP response splitting attacks.Nevertheless, the report is being generated. Preventing the framework from writing the HTTP headers would resolve this issue.

How can you set the HTTP headers in ADF while using a Task Flow to generate a PDF by calling a managed bean?

The problem was that the HTTP headers were in fact being written twice:
1. The report server was returning HTTP response headers.
2. The bean was including its own HTTP response headers (as shown in the question).
3. The bean was copying the entire contents of the report server response, including the headers, into the output stream.
Firefox ignored the duplicate header errors, but Google Chrome did not.
