Re: Macbook unexpectedly shuts down

I have the same problem. My computer runs at very high temperatures if I use flash or any kind of video. If I am charging my computer (when it works) and I am watching something, it just shuts down unexpectedly. It usually runs at °83C then. Anything over °80C and the sound breaks up and I can't play any video.
I've had a lot of gray screens of death this week as well, while I was exporting a large movie from iMovie (13 minutes, low quality). I was only charging the computer and doing nothing else. It happened 3 times.

And the condition is NORMAL!?
How old is your battery? And how long does it last?
On another note, because of the gray screens and random shutdowns, that isn't a battery issue.
Check your warranty, and see if Apple will either service or replace your Mac.
