Please tell us you iMac model and the Mac OSX version you run. iMacs have been in continuous production since 1998 in four broad families and hundreds of variants. Without knowing your specific Mac type, someone trying to help might give you advice inappropriate for your model.
A good place to start to determine in which family yours resides is to do "About this Mac" from your Apple menu (left end of menubar) to get this window:
Note I've indicated two entries with red arrows. Please tell us what your computer shows for "Version" under OSXn and for your processor.

Hello, I have Airport Express installed on my PC which runs XP. When I play my library through iTunes after about 2 hours Airport quits and I have to log out and restart my computer - very frustrating. Don't know if it is overheating but if anyone can make any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

MurrayMaybe Mail's message index is corrupt. The following procedure is safe to try. Its only deleterious effect is that windows you left open in Mail at step 1 won't reopen automatically in step 4.
1. Quit Mail.
2. Browse to ~/Library/Mail.
3. Move "Envelope Index" to your desktop.
4. Launch Mail.
Mail will rebuild its index before it opens any windows. It may take a few minutes to rebuild. Be patient!
The new index is likely to be a different size than the old one, usually smaller.
Only the Message Viewer window will open--not any other windows you may have left open when Mail quit.
Be sure your mail folders are there and have their messages. They always are there, but the prudent check anyway.
Be sure you can send and receive mail. This always works, too.
After you have done the above, trash the old Envelope Index that you saved on your desktop. It is never better than the new one, and as time goes on, it becomes more and more out of synch with your mail folders, so you won't want to put it back in Library.
If Mail doesn't crash for a week or two, you probably fixed the problem. If not, you at least freed up some disk space.

I had a similar issue and it was an easy fix for me. First you need to log out of your account completely in the Mac App Store. Quit the application. Re-open the Mac App Store. Click log-in, enter your Apple-ID and password. Now when the screen pops-up that has all of your billing/credit card information on it DO NOT select done. Instead select View my Account, then select View hidden purchases. There you should be able to find iPhoto. Hope this helps if not let me know. I'm still searching solutions for you.

I bought a magazine subscription on my iPAD and after being charged, it does not come up on my screen. Has anyone had this problem?
When I click on the magazine, my screen is just blank. I can see the purchase, and in my settings/store, the magazine shows "ON".I would do a power cycle/reset of your device first, if you haven't, to rule that out.

The vibrate symbol that appears on screen when turning vibrate on, continually appears on my screen and vibrates all day. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?
Although you say you have let the battery drain, was it for long enough? Since nothing else that you've tried so far has worked, I suggest that you leave the iPod unplugged for at least four days, preferably a week. That way, if something is stopping the iPod from turning the screen on, then whatever it is will drain the battrey. However, since the screen isn't on, that may take longer than if the screen was on.
Then, after that time, plug the iPod into a power source and leave it alone for at least thirty minutes. Only after thirty minutes will it show any signs of life, but you should leave it until it is fully charged before trying to use it.
If you get to this stage, the fact that the battery has drained will cause the iPod to reset when it springs back to life.

My iPod is stuck on the startup screen, showing just the apple logo. Has anyone had this problem before? If yes, then how did you solve it?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have a number of hard drives that my Mac Book Pro no longer 'recognises' at least for very long. When I turn them on the deskstop icon shows up but then shortly afterwards I get a message saying that it has been unplugged incorrectly. I haven't unplugged it any of them. When I try to run very/repair disk before they disappear I get the error in the subject line above. Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you rectify it?
The drive is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced, or you have some other hardware fault.
Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store.
Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

Restore your media from the backup of the computer created prior to restoring the computer.
You did create a backup, correct? Not doing so would be extremely unintelligent.

i have a MacBook pro. I'm trying to connect my Mac through wifi at my house, it shows my router says it's connected with full signal yet I have no internet. So I thought I would try it at my friends house but I had the same problem. the Internet connection and wifi were on, as our iPhones were working through wifi. Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
Restart the computer.
Start up in Safe Mode.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

I have updated my iOS and now my hotmail will not verify my password through apple mail app. I have reset password - tried new password and old password and it still gives me password incorrect. Hotmail works fine on Mac. Has anyone had this difficulty and been able to resolve it?
Did you try deleting the mail account, then adding it back? I've read a lot of times that is what needs to happen in order for it to work properly.

When I try to download iPhone OS 5.1.0 on my PC I get this message "stopped (err = -3259)"and says it timed out at the server after the entire download. I have tried 3 times, it takes about 8 min. to download the 790.7 MB file. Has anyone had this problem and what is the fix?
