My FN keys of NB200-134 is not working after upgrading from Windows 7 starter to Windows 7 ultimate. I tried installing every drivers found on Toshiba website for my lappy but still it does not work.

The FN keys are controlled by Value Added Package and Flash Cards Support Utility. I think you have forgotten to install these tools
You should check the Toshiba page again and download both tools. Start with installation of Value Added Package then restart your notebook. After this install Flash Cards Support Utility. Once again restart and all FN keys should work properly now.

    Note: HP Doesn't provide drivers for windows 8/8.1 ONLY WINDOWS 7 for hp pavilion dv6-6165tx.

    Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion dv6-6165tx Notebook and the Wireless keyboard not working correctly. Here is a link to troubleshoot the keyboard.
    The HP Connection Manager is something that is for Windows 7 not Windows 8.1. I would uninstall this from your Notebook.  Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updating. It has a troubleshooting tool in this.
    Make sure all your updates have been completed. I would try restarting my Notebook a few times.
    If that does not help I would uninstall the keyboard from the Device manager.

    I understand the touch screen on your notebook is not detected after updating to Windows 8.1. 
    This would be the best place to start: Troubleshooting Touch Screen Issues in Windows 8. This is a great document that covers touchscreen issues from start to finish. Do not be alarmed that it states the document pertains to TouchSmart PC's, as the steps are the same.
    It would also help to know which product you are using so I can give you more detailed information, such as driver downloads.

  • Ethernet LAN not working after upgrading to windows 8.1

    After upgrading from Windows 8 to 8.1, my Ethernet LAN is no longer working. Wireless LAN connectivity is OK. I have run the HP Support Assistant and downloaded the drivers for 8.1. Hovever, I do not see a 8.1 driver listed for the Ethernet LAN.

    That is very interesting, because I didn't know of anyone who upgraded to W8.0 with a Ralink wireless card with the BT 3.0 radio that got the BT to work at all.
    We tried the W7 drivers, and they didn't work.
    That is why you don't see a W8 Ralink BT driver for the bluetooth on your PC's support and driver page amongst the other 11 drivers listed.
    The Ralink 3.0 version of BT is not supported in W8.
    While somehow the BT has worked in W8 for you, I'm afraid your luck has run out.
    Unless by some fluke, HP installed a card with the BT 4.0 radio on your model...
    You can try this W8 driver for the Ralink card with the BT 4.0 radio, but don't get your hopes up.

  • Dolby Home Theater v4 not working after upgrading to Windows 10

    Hi there, I just upgraded to Wndows 10 Home from Windows 8.1; everything went smoothly except for the fact that Dolby Home Theater v4 does not work. I had to reinstall it using the .msi file found in the Realtek Audi folders. I chose v4 over any of the other versions because I like how I can tune the equalizer to my liking and different uses. Anyways, the regular audio works and Dolby is turned on but there is no activity appearing on the equalizer and my music does not change once adjusted. Had this problem when doing an optional audio driver update in the past when I was running 8.1. I do not have the option to rollback the driver after upgrading to Windows 10. Does anyone have a solution to this issue or know what the correct Realtek driver is to make Dolby work? Learn How to Post and More. I have read your post on how your notebook computer's monitor will not produce any sound after upgrading to Windows 10, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter! According to the available list of supported drivers for your monitor, there is currently no Windows 10 software published at the moment.  In the meantime, I recommend following the steps in this document on HP Products - Where do I find Windows 10 drivers and software for my model? I also suggest connecting the monitor on a different computer to test the hardware functionality of the speakers. I hope this helps! Best Regards

    Hi, My 3G Card stoped working after upgrade to Win 10.I tried latest drivers from Lenovo but with no success. When I open Device Manager the Card is shown as properly installed but the driver manifactire is Microsfoft not Lenovo/Ericsson When I try to reinstall the driver the installation package poppup a message 'No action was taken as a system reboot is required'On the network connections the Mobile Netork is disabled:after trobleshooting on the connection I recieved and error: witch code 36. Is there a solution available ? regards,stuckoff

    Which Operator and Country SIM card you are using ?Error Code 36 is regular deactivation. Do a Windows update , Restart then Shut Down System and start ( TYhis Power cycles the Device ) .  From your Screenshot it Looks like  the Cellular Data is not ON and Microsoft cellular service is in some mismatched state after upgrade.After restart press like in below screenshot  order 1 --> it turns cellular  on or off, 2---> It will take you to settings page 3--> Connect from here. Dont ask why Microsoft made connecting to WWAN device so complex

    Greetings , I saw your post regarding the problems you are having with scanning after upgrading to windows 10.
    I would start with the simple, have you tried just restarting the computer? Have you made sure your computer has all of it's windows updates? How can I tell if my computer is up to date? Most products do have updated software available for Windows 10, did you install the correct driver?HP LaserJet Full Feature Software and Driver I've also seen a few posts that say the Windows 8.1 driver will work for Windows 10 as well, so you could try that too.  HP provides a free tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. I recommend downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor, if it doesn't fix it automatically let me know what errors or messages you receive.  Do you know if you are able to scan using Paint? To Scan from Paint: HP Multifunction Printers - How to Scan: Windows 8 
    (It's the same for Windows 10, from what I've been told)Right-click the Start button () in the lower left corner of the screen, click Search, and then type ...Click Paint in the results.Click File, and then click From scanner or camera.Select your printer, click OK, and then click Scan.  Have you tried just using the New Scanner app in Windows 10?     After upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and subsequent upgrade of printer software, the scanner functionality did not work. When I tried to uninstall the printer software I got the message "HP uninstaller has stopped working". After another upgrade of printer software the scanner was still not working.     I had the same problem with my Officejet Pro 8600 All-in-One scanner, sfter upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. After uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer driver, the problem is solved. You can look up the model of your printer on HP's support site and download it from there. Apparently, not all printers are compatible with Windows 10. In that case, they recommend you buy a new printer. ;-)

  • AltGr key not working after upgrade to Xorg 7.3

    So, I upgraded to Xorg 7.3, and everything seemingly worked fine.
    Then I tried writing an e-mail address, and pressing AltGr+2 which should give me an (at) symbol didn't work. After fiddling about abit, I concluded that  AltGr did not work at all.
    I tried the suggested solutions in the wiki, but none worked for me. I also tried setting Option "XkvVariant "nodeadkeys", but no luck there either.
    Here's the keyboard section of my xorg.conf:

    It seems the problem has resolved itself. I did a pacman -Syu today, and although only libsamplerate was upgraded, my AltGr key functions properly again. Kind of weird, as libsamplerate seems to have something to do with audio.. But hey, it works, and I'm not complaining.

  • WiFi (Key) stopped working after upgrade to Windows 10

    I thought I would post this on the forum for those who are having the same problem because help for this issue is few and far between compared to the number of pleas for assistance from HP owners. When I upgraded to Windows 10 on my Pavilion, the WiFi stopped working and I could not turn it on using the hot key (F12). I searched for answers and worked hours trying to solve it until I came upon the only suggestion that worked for me: I had to disable fast boot (power options, change what the buttons do, "change settings that are currently unavailable" (?!?)) , so I could get into the bios and then I went into the bios by pressing f10 during boot.  Reset them to defaults.  (Changed from default back to what I wanted) saved and the wifi button turned white after pressing during windows 10 boot up. EDIT: If it does not turn on right away, try turning it on through the wifi settings. I hope this can help a few, who like me, struggled endlessly for a problem that few HP mods seem to be responding to.
