I can't get any sound to come from the pad, except for when I plug in ear plugs. I've checked and properly set all the settings I know to set. Any suggestions? I powered off and back on, several times.

If you get sound in the Music and Videos apps from the iPad's speakers then have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. The latest version of iTunes may hide the sidebar. To show the sidebar, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.
With the sidebar visible, does the iPod appear in the sidebar, under DEVICES?

ITunes Freezes When iPod Plugged In. Please Help!

Two years ago I got a 2nd Gen. iPod nano. It worked for a while, but then it started freezing iTunes when I tried to sync it. So I got a 3rd gen. nano. It worked on one computer, then I wanted to put iTunes and start syncing it on another computer. So i transferred all of my songs to the other computer.Which was the same computer I synced my old iPod. I synced my new iPod once and all of my songs went to it. The next day I tried to sync it and as soon as the computer reconized my iPod, iTunes froze. As soon as I unplugged it it unfroze. That was what happened when I plugged my 2nd gen nano in. So now i cannot sync my new iPod because iTunes keeps freezing. Do you know what I could do to fix this problem??

Thanks for the reply, do you mean uninstall the updater software first, or iTunes?
Also, do you know what causes this problem? As you suggest using an earlier firmware, I'm guessing some aspect of a later version is to blame?
Any idea what version I should try?

Hello, please help me I have an iphone 4 and it was working fine before but one day it was low on battery. I decided to charge it and it wont turn on and i left it in there a couple hours and still wont. So i have 2 differen't iphone chargers i tried both of them none work i dont think its the orignal charger that comes with the phone though. I dont know if that has anything to do with it or not but i was thinking it was the charger but i'm not sure. ANY help is appreciated i just wanna start using my iphone again. If you have more questions about the charger or phone please ask i will answer ASAP!

Do you know where i can buy an original iphone charger? Or will the place i bought it from let me use there charger until i get it atleast half charged so i can use the usb charger? Also thanks for your reply i thought no one would answer the question.

Make sure it's plugged in all the way, because it clicks when it's no all the way In and many users get confused. If not try turning it.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

Sound on my iPhone 4 , turns really low when I plug in my headphones or a device then turns back to normal when I plug the headphones/device back out , tried turning off , using the troubleshoot turn off and shouting at it please help

The sound on my iPhone is perfect until I plug in speakers or headphones
Then the sound halves and won't turn all the way up, when I do turn it up the
Sound just switches off till I turn it back down low to wear it works ,
When I unplug headphones/device sound returns to normal

Normally, an iPhone will remember what you had your volume set to right before you unplugged your headphones last and set the volume back to that when you plug them in again. Do you have a habit of tuning your volume down before unplugging?
