Hello Guys, I just installed it without going through all the trouble installing domain manually. You can install Informatica 9.5.1 32bit on Windows 8.1 PC (64bit) very easily by following below two steps : 1. After you have unzipped all the downloaded files, Go to file 951HF2_Server_Installer_win32-x86\Server\install2. Right Click->Troubleshoot Compatibility--> Try Recommonded Settings--> Test The Program --> It will open Informatica Installer wizard and you can install the server. Follow same for Client installation as well. Rest other steps are same as you would do for Infa installation on windows 7 PC. PS- I had 64 bit version as well but it's installer did not work by above steps. 32bit is working just fine.

Hi Abhi,I have followed the same steps and was able to create the domain successfully. But when running the "infaservice.bat startup" from C:\Informatica9.5\source\tomcat\bin, a new window was displayed and after sometime a line was displayed like "Abrting the domain serivce".PFA for the details regarding the issue when running the "infaservice.bat"Below are the steps followed:
1. Moved the source folder to " C\Informatica9.5\source"
2. Created INFA_HOME variabele with value =C:\Informatica9.5\source
3. Added both these variables to PATH variable.Below is my path variable:

-----command ran successfullyAfter completion of the above command, i ran the below thing:
C:\Informatica9.5\source\tomcat\bin\infaservice.bat startup ---a separate window was displayed (screenshot was displayed inside the attachment)Open the link "http://localhost:6005" ,also i tried "http://vishnu-pc:6005". Office 2013 does not run on Vista, it is only compatible with Windows 7 and above. You will not be able to install it.

I'm able to download it, but not install it. I get a message that says "Installation failed. The wizard was interrupted before Java 7 Update 25 could be completely installed. To complete installation at another time, please run set up again."

Seek if there is olders versions install and uninstall them with java uninstall tool, see : http://www.java.com/en/download/help/uninstall_java.xml
then install the new version

Z87-G45 Gaming not able to install Win7 x64 with Samsung 840 EVO

I have a brand new:
i5 4570
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming
250GB Samsung 840 EVO
1x 8GB Corsair ValueRam DDR3 1600
I got everything hooked up properly, but I am not able to install Win7 x64 through an USB pen drive (Kingston Datatravel 32GB USB3) I have a proper official and Legit MSDN ISO, formatted by the Win7 USB tool from MS itself.
Note that i do not have an optical device (DVD) installed so I cannot use it 'the old way'.
Bios settings are okay, everything is recognized
USB Legacy - Kingston Datatraveler
HDD Legacy - Samsung 840 EVO
Win7 setup loads properly; but before I can select the Harddrive / SSD to install Win7 on I get prompted that additional (3rd party) drivers are needed to proceed. The volume is not recognized. This happens 9 out of 10 times. In the 10% cases I do get the option to format the SSD and/or create partitions. However, installation fails after all, cannot load or find file ...
What I've tried so far:
Switch out the SATA cables and power cables
Switch through the various SATA ports on the MB 1 through 6
Tried UEFI and UEFI/Legacy (UEFI doesn't seem to work at all)
Update UEFI to V 1.50
All the above result in the case mentioned.
I have succesfully installed the SSD in an other PC, using the same pen drive and ISO and it worked like a charme, thus ruling out that the SSD, pen drive or image is corrupt.
Even when I switched out the SSD after Win7 setup has succesfully copied, unpacked and installed all the files (doing this on the other machine where it works like a charm). Then switching it to the MSI Z87...it fails; starting the setup procedure right from the start, like nothing was ever written on the SSD...
Finally i turned to Win8, and guess what, it installed without any glitches on the MSI Z87
What am I missing here, I would really want to install Win7 instead of Win8
Forgot to enable / disable something in the UEFI? I really don't know, google doesn't give much information on this specific problem (SSD is recognized properly by the BIOS / UEFI as far as I can tell)
The only thing I have not tried out so far is updating the Samsung SSD firmware to the 1.0 version which has been release 3 days ago...
Any clues, tips, hunches??

I didn't change it from the default setting I think, unless it is part of the Win8 features in the UEFI. All where disabled by default, and I kept them disabled.
Where is Secure Boot listed in the UEFI, and any idea wether it is enabled by default?

Found it in some screenshots, I cannot recall from the top of my head wether it was enabled or disabled, allthough my gutt feeling says it already is disabled.

Problem solved! , my tube is back to normal ( to rock )
all i did is , removed the sys,private,system,resources,data folders from the memory card , switched off my phone , removed the memory card , did a soft reset (*#7370#) and tried to install an application from downloads , i was able to install in the phone memory as memmory card was not inserted then switched off the phone , inserted the memory card and tried to install an application from the downloads, finally i was asked where to install the app. and gave memory card , viola application installed sucessfully

After downloading the software on HP's site nothing happens after it downloads and does the extract process. The installer just dissapears. If I try to uninstall it, I get a message saying that it's running and cannot ininstall. I've tried the Print and scan doctor as well as the Installation wizard. Also disabled firewalls .... nothing works

Garageband was not able to install the new sounds

I'm on an iMac 21.5-inch (mid 2011) running Yosemite; 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5; 4GB memory.
A few months ago, I uninstalled GarageBand. Now I'm trying to reinstall it. I can get GarageBand 6 reinstalled, but I would like to get working with the latest version. I'm able to download the latest version from the App Store with no issue. It installs with no issue.
When I open it, it thanks for me downloading it, and then begins to download "an essential collection of sounds and loops." After a bit of downloading, it asks for my admin password; I enter it, and a few seconds later, it gives the error: "GarageBand was not able to install the new sounds. Close and re-open GarageBand to download and install them again." Closing and reopening GarageBand just takes me through the same loop (no pun intended). When the window is open, if I click on the GarageBand menu in the Apple bar, nothing happens.
It does not ask me to accept anything; I am signed into the App Store with the same Apple ID I have always used (it is the only one I have ever had, so that's not the issue). I am an admin on my Mac, so it's not a permissions issue. It's not a password issue either.
Things I have tried:
Rebooting into Safe Boot and opening from there; same issue.
Repaired permissions (it fixed oodles of things completely unrelated to GarageBand); same issue.
Creating a new admin profile and opening from there; it gives a different error, but the effect is the same.
Removed the program, trashed anything remotely related to GarageBand (preferences, folders, etc), emptied the trash, restarted the computer, reinstalled; same issue.
Installed GarageBand on top of itself, just in case; same issue.
I can't think of what else to try. Help!

First I found the private/var/folders/ (and then lots of gibberish folders) and singled out two garageband files and deleted them. This did not work.
I then deleted everything which may or may not be a good thing, I am an idiot, I have no idea if these are extremely important files or not!
I tried to empty the trash bin after but many files was locked and Garageband would still not install.
I did a restart of the computer, emptied the bin successfully and tried to install Garageband again and it worked fine!
The inserted picture show some of the folder structure, I deleted everything after private/var/folders/
