I'm not so sure you can call it the past if the company still uses this dishonest buisness model. Reputable companies would at least change their buisness model or do something to put their customers at ease. Not just say hey don't bring that up because we don't want people to know what we are doing now...
The past of CL is something to be embarrassed about. But to not better yourself after your mistake is what makes one ignorant or just proves one simply does not care. I noticed you were quick to bring to my attention that bringing up the past will not be tolorated. It's a shame you wern't as quick to offer apologies or at least put your customers at ease in a way to show the same buisness practice isn't being used.

Re: RE: OMG I had no idea. of course CL personnel are watching this forum. that's why you have them doing and saying things like this. of course, if you ask them, they'll say that they aren't here to support. they are here to "keep the voices down". on the other hand, they will help people to go and download drivers or read the stup!d FAQ on their website.
all they care is silence in this forum. they want us to imagine that everything is running smoothly, there are no problems and we're all happy customers using our products. and of course they talk with higher ranked personnel but... ONLY when the condition has gone out of hand. like this for example. we are complaining about driver support for what.. 6+ months ....
i had a private communication with an admin and he/she told me that the driver team were doing what they can... LOL
but it is after all this bashing (which he/she said that is totally unnecessary) and people threatening that they will go and give negati've reviews in online stores, that suddenly we have betas and extra betas and hyper extra betas and pre-alpha beta beta drivers. GEE CREATIVE. DOES IT REALLY TAKE PEOPLE TO START THREATENING YOU WITH NEGATIVE REVIEWS TO PROVIDE US PROPER SUPPORT
or are you afraid that we will go to other forums and start speaking about this situation
anyway, the thing is that CL is taking the right steps to destruction. and well,... i don't really mind because they reached this place with no help but their own. when they start blaming each other, the time will be really short for creative...
oh well, long li've the new Creative-less era
oh... and please, no "please check your private messages"
if there is something to be said, it should be done out in the open. everyone has a right to know what you (CL) have to say about this situation.
