Re-open oss call
Hi everybody.
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but I found no better.
I opened a Priority "High" oss call and today the status changed to "confirmed automatically" although the problem is still not fixed.
How can I enable the conversation process with SAP again?
Should I create a ticket to ask for the reopening of my ticket?

High,
a message set to "Customer ACtion" will automatically get closed after a certain number of days depending on Priority e.g a very high message will get closed very fast, and I believe you get about 1 month for a "High" message.
If you do not believe the issue to be fixed, you must send it back to SAP for processing before the deadline. I believe the messages do show the date by which it will get confirmed automaticlly.

in the second option, if I make the field ILifnr optional the call is succesfully performed but the parameter is not passed to the WS. So the call is working.

new iphone 6 with ios 8.0 crushed and didnt open again. call center told me that use itunes to update 8.0.2 but server is too slow and didnt let me download it. it stopts in the middle of the session. how can i download it from another link or server. by the way i try to dowload from turkey.

Please google for "SAP Project Muse" and you'll find out that SAP currently developing new GUI (or see on SDN <a href="/people/jeffrey.word/blog/2006/06/06/project-muse--new-gui-for-sap">Project Muse -- new GUI for SAP</a>).
Project Muse will use <a href="http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Apollo">Adobe Apollo</a> presentation technology, that is extension to <a href="http://www.adobe.com/products/flex/">Adobe Flex</a> technology that is run within Adobe Flash Player.
So in fact it seems that WD applications will be running within Flash (or Flash-like) player from Adobe.
As of implementing third-party WD renderer using Adobe Flex, it is theoretically possible. But it's necessary to have access to internal XML protocol/formats used by SAP Smart Clients (.NET & Java) to communicate with WD run-time running on SAP WebAS. Unfortunately, these protocols/formats are not publicly released

This error most likely occurs when you use DB connection pool, which I think is the case in XI. When the JDBC adapter tries to connect to the database and discovers that the connection has been timed out/lost, then this exception is generated. Please have a look of the connection settings of your JDBC adapter and also at the note 831162.

whenever i open oss connections, the connection failing to open with the "Host did not respond 8 times " error before changing to Cancel. .

1. Please change the SAP Router server host name to another SAP router name (eg: 2 to 3)in your route table & SM59 and then try. (search SAP notes for more SAp router Ip and host name)
2. Check your SAP toute tab SNC certificate expiry, if Yes then request new certificates for SNC with SAP support.

This started a couple weeks ago, but doesn't seem to coincide with any other installations or reconfigurations, so I'm having trouble getting at the root cause.
The first time I run Firefox after installing, it runs fine (complete with a full list of add-ons.) If I then close FF and try to start it from the task bar or start menu, nothing happens. I've tried starting in safe mode (shift+FF), but get the same result. I've restored FF to all the default settings, disabled all my plugins and add ons, but no change.
The really odd part is that if I click the 'Inbox' link in my Windows Live Messenger, FF opens perfectly. This made me think that it was my homepage causing the issue, but A: I can go to that page without problems once FF has started from WLM, and B: even if I use the FF default homepage or google.com, I get the same problem. Furthermore, if I restart FF from within FF (like after I disable/enable an add-on), it will also start properly.
No crash report is generated by FF when it fails to load, but Windows catches the problem in it's event log. I've pasted the contents of that record at the bottom in the hopes that someone can take a stab at what's wrong.
Finally, I've already run through the online crash help, but everything is either not related (since FF will start if called indirectly) or has already been prevented (absolutely no add-ons are running at the moment.)

</Event>I have exactly the same issue. After FF upgraded on its own to version 5, it won't open from start menu, taskbar, desktop icon, or even by pressing firefox.exe in program files directory. It does so by pressing a link at msn messenger, inside Outlook etc.
Disabling all addons, didn't help. Moreover, I can't start FF in safe mode or start profile manager (Start > Run> firefox.exe -ProfileManager).

The generated html file is opening in the same browser which is replacing the calling page . I want to open in new window .

How to open or call Excel from an Oracle Form in Apps11i
I have a custom form in Apps 11i from which I need to be able to open an Excel spreadsheet. I'm aware that it is possible to a spreadsheet that is available on the local drive from a form, but can it be done from Applications ?

However, the above code handles abnormal script terminations, whereas the man page mentions abnormal terminations not being handled by shlock. I'm using the above now... which seems to be holding up under stress.
