Re-ordering tags using ORDER panel doesnt work in Acrobat X

I am having major problems re-ordering tags (text and form field) using the Order Panel. When I select a tag from the Order Panel and try to drag it from position #20 up to position #5 it does not work.
In fact, my tag completely disappears???
I've been working on tryin to get my text tags and my form field texts in the proper order for over a week now with no luck at all. I am also have several problems with 2 text tags merging into 1.
If anyone knows how I can get the reading order to display correctly in the Order Panel that would be great. My docs are failing the accessibility standards set by our office for the province and i need the forms to be compliant with gov acts/legs.

CT Dave is correct. The structure tree is used as the reading order by screen readers. The structure tree is defined in the Tags Panel. As long as "use document structure" is selected in the Page Thumbnails/PagesPanel /Page Properties / Tab order tab " your document should read properly.
As to whether it meets the legal standards in your jurisdiction... well some cllient requirements used to include the "Content Panel" match but -- the "Order Panel"? , I can think of none that does.
Are you referring to the form field "Tab Order" or the Order Panel? Working with Form Fields the Tab Order should match the Tags Panel reading order and this can be a bear to work out sometimes.
I know working within the Content Panel can cause unexpected changes in the appearance of the page. There is definitely a trick to it. It seems the Order panel is likewise "buggy" (at least from a user's perspective). I have had Tags occasionally "disappear" in the Tags Panel if they are inadvertently moved "on top of" instead of under or over another Tag. So it doesn't surprise me that this would happen in other panels. You have to position them "just so".
I am in the States and not familiar with Provincial code--could you forward a URL or cite? Client standards may have requirements regarding elements or situations that may but do not necessarily affect accessibility. Perhaps they are trying to cover as many bases as possible or may lack a full understanding of document accessibility. Government standards are usually more general. Are there other accessibility workers in your Province that you can refer to for guidance on this?
If matching the order panel to the reading order is the standard then you will need to examine how your documents are being made, and under what circumstances the Order Panel is or is not correct. Start with a simple document and work up from there. If you are creating documents in Word with text boxes, figures (Not to Mention Form Fields) you will likely have problem as Word does not always manage to arrange lists or Figures in the correct order in Acrobat's Tags Panel. I would be interested in seeing the document you are having problems with or a similar one.

Yes, because your result set includes the shopnaam, it must
also be included in the group by clause which means it will return
the max shopcpc value for each shop, which is not what you want.
You need to get the max shopcpc for each product. Question: will
this query be returning a list of all products at once, or will it
be limited to a single product? If just one, then you could get by
using the TOP function to return the top 1 row. This is not a ANSI
syntax, but most dbms' support it.
Otherwise you will need to use a subquery and possibly a
correlated subquery since you may need to correlate the shop in the
main and subquery for each different product. It's hard to tell
since I don't understand the relationship completely and what
adding another product to the tables would look like.

Order Quotation doesnt work in webshop

I ahve created a New quotation in Webshop asking a dicount of price for an item,and then i logged onto the Web UI as sales rep and offered the discount,and when i log back again in to the webshop to Order quotation,after clicking on that ikon,
iam getting an error message saying
"a technical error has araised"

I just downloaded ios7 and the control panel doesnt work no matter how many times i swipe from the bottom. help please!

Drag and drop feature on the project panel doesnt work. Cant adjust scale or any numer properties by sliding mouse. (click drag wont work at all nowhere)

This issue just happened out of the blue. The last thing I did was create a new comp and import an Illustrator file. Working on CC2014. Its like the mouse's left click wont be working at all... but that's not the case. Cant even drag the comps in the composition, or move the layers around....
Now the issue affects everything I do in After Effects, even on a new comp with just a plain solid
Deleted cache,
reseted workspaces,
open/close after effects
restarted computer
newcomp with just a solid and nothing.
plugged unplugged wireless mouse
changed to wired mouse
the issue is still there
Curiously, after writing this post , publishing, and going back to after effects, the mouse will work, but for a couple of clicks or so then wont work again. This only happens on After Effects

Its an Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4 with an i7 k2600 clocked to 4.2ghz w 16gbRam at 1333mhz
Dual GPU , gtx 760 and gtx 780ti
Running Windows 7 ultimate.
The keyboard is a Genius G110 plus a wireless mouse Genius also.
Adobe guys tried resetting cache (different than deleting) and user preferences, creating new user, disabling both video cards . The issue was still there.
BTW!, After I switched windows in Win7 environment ( from after effects to the browser) the mouse drag worked again. I could move objects in comp window, scale; move sliders on time line and drag projects to folders in project window... everything fine until i pressed ANY key, say, shift key or ctrl key.
Probably we will never have the answer for this, since i had to format the C drive (i have work to do). Currently i'm installing CC again. So if problem persists, I'll ditch the computer through the window.

Extract pages using control click not working in acrobat 9.4.5

I have been using Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.4.5 for about 2 years to scan and archive documents. Usually, I scan a stack of invoices then select pages by clicking on the first one, then holding down the control key and selecting additional pages. Suddenly, this selection method is no longer working. I click on the first page, then hold the control key down and click on the next (but the first page is then released).
I am not sure if I accidently changed a setting or something. Control selecet works in other windows programs.
Please help, I use this feature daily and do not know what happened.

Tool created for rect drawn is working fine on acrobat 10 which installed using stand alone Acrobat.
but same plugin when i use on another machine with acrobat 10 which comes with CreativeSuite 6.o then tool is not working properly.

I/O Drive doesnt work on my X-Fi Platin

Hi, i just received my new X-Fi Platinum and installed the X-Fi.
Works perfectly, then i installed the I/O Dri've, connected it to the X-Fi with the Cable and connected the Power Jack.
If i plug in a Headphone, it cracks a little bit, so it must have Power. But i dont hear anything at all, it doesnt work. Tried different Speaker Settings (or switched to "Headphones") and plugged in my Mic at the Mic2 Input on the I/O Dri've. Doesnt work too and the SPDIF Out doesnt work....
After i crawled through these forums i read, that for the Mic2 Input i should switch at the mixer the record input source to mic2. But there is no mic2 on the mixer if i switch to record sources.
WTF?!
got an asus a8n-sli and im using windows XP with the latest patches/service pack.

the optical SPDIF output is lighting red and if i plug in my headphones, it cracks a little bit. so it should have power.
there is no switch at the front of the i/o dri've to change between line2 and mic2 ?!
i turned the microphone level input to the max, doesnt work.
in the audio mixer, i can choose between different stuff and microphone, but there is no mic2 and just microphone doesnt work. even in the windows mixer there is no mic2 or option to choose mic2.
so i dont know why the front panel doesnt work, even with headphones or SPDIF coaxial out. the cable is plugged in at both edges, on the soundcard and on the I/O dri've and as i described above, the i/o dri've seems to have power.

If you have records that show that you've taken your MacBook Pro in for a year to fix the machine, I would escalate the problem to Apple Customer Relations - unfortunately I don't have a number for Spain.
It would only seem logical to me that if you've been trying to have the machine repaired during the time that the 'recall' was in effect that you should be eligible for a new logic board. But only customer relations will be able to make that call.
Good luck - take the issue as high up the food chain as you can and see what happens.

Dear Paul, thank you very much for your time and answer, I followed those steps, somehow it helped the performance of my Imac, is faster now, but the screen issue about the very High contrast colours is still there. Since I am a photographer I am very depending on the screen calibration. I am worried that I came to damage the video card when I shut down the computer from the swicth when It was frozed.

Airport setup asst. doesnt work. Is there way to use Windows to add airport express to my current linksys network so that my iTunes will play through my stereo?
Previously the air-assit recognized the air-exp unit but kept asking for a password to continue. I tried passwords like admin and public but nothing worked. Then Windows network connections kept trying to connect my laptop to the internet using the air-exp. Don't remember what I did to fix that problem but now my laptop doesn't try using it to connect me to internet anymore.
However, now air-asst. doesn't read the air-exp anymore. Windows network connections DOES read it now but doesn't try to use it anymore to connect me to the internet.
I have a linksys WAP and separate linksys router. If memory serves, when I firt got the air-exp about 6 months ago I could not connect either and Apple tech support had to help me. I think, but not sure, they had me use Windows to add the air-exp to my wireless network. Also if my memory serves me, but not sure, I had to type in either some IP or MAC addresses in order to get the air-exp to connect to my existing network. I DO remember thinking after it was finally working that "Wow, this is definately NOT a plug and play thing." It wasn't very easy to set up.
I lost my laptops wireless connection last week and couldn't connect to my network and had to call linksys tech support. They had me input a new IP and DNS address because somehow my laptop "lost" the previous ones. Since then I have not been able to use my air-exp to connect to my stereo.
I have called Apple tech support but since my 90 days is up they want to charge me $49.95 for up to five days worth of tech support. Which I think is a rip off becau linksys will help you out at anytime for fee but that's a topic for another discussion group. Common Apple, how about a $10 charge for one day of tech support, or even just 15 minutes worth to get my gear working again?
Anyway, if anyone knows of any on-line walkthroughs of how to deal with these airport express set-ups or problems please let me know. Or, of course if anyone can walk me through this that would be even better. THANKS

When I run air-util a window called base station chooser comes up and all the fields are blank. When I push "re-scan" nothing happens. When I push "other" a window pops up asking for IP address and password. I typed in the IP address given to me from Linksys tech and tried to move on but it came back asking me to fill in the password. I tried the default linksys password "admin" but it came back with an error.
Do I hard (factory) reset the air-express by simply pushing the reset button or do I have to hold it in while I plug it in or simply push the button for a certain length of time?
