Re-pair Watch to iPhone has created 2 watches in Health App

I was having a setup issue with the Watch today so I decided to re-pair with the iPhone.  All good now but I've now got 2 watches listed as devices within my Health app.  One of the Watches says it's no longer paired with this iPhone whilst the other Watch device appears to be ok.  Is there a way to remove one of the Watches under Devices within the Health App?  I've tried everything I can think of short of reformatting the iPhone.
Cheers
Peter

Same problem with the Garmin Connect app... In the Health app, there are 5 identical entries for number of steps every hour, so Health shows me with 5x the number of steps I've actually taken (according to the vivosmart and hence the Garmin Connect app). There are also multiple entries for active calories (although all showing being shared at 12:00am), also using Garmin Connect as the source... apparently, today I've exerted over 12,000 calories!
I've also got MyFitnessPal, and from what I can tell, it appears to be tracking correctly.

  • My 5s iphone has stopped syncing anything except Apps from i tunes on my Macbook Pro. Even if I select the Music tab it still only looks for Apps to sync

My 5S iphone has suddenly stopped syncing anything except Apps. I have selected the music tab in i tunes and asked for it to sync entire music library but all I get is a message looking for which Apps to sync and after a brief time it stops doing any syncing at all. Consequently a new playlist I added to i tunes on my computer has not migrated to the iphone. This has never been an issue before so I'm a bit lost to know what to do.

Under the Music tab is the "Sync Music" checkbox ticked? Beneath that have you defined what music you want to sync?

  • Health app on iPhone 6 is dead

For the last two days the health app on my iPhone 6 has been displaying Steps, walking + running distance, and flights climbed as expected but now all of the data is gone and no new data is being displayed. I have tried rebooting my iPhone 6 a number of times but it has not helped. The health app is now totally dead.
    Any help?

After discussing the issue with Apple support I have restored my iPhone 6 again which seems to have corrected this issue.

I currently use an iPhone, an iPad, and a Mac computer for business.  The three devices have Contacts Managers that sync with each other through both Google and through Mobile Me.  Currently, this has created a mess of duplicate contacts.  Please advise me on the steps necessary for removing these duplicates and establishing a syncing solution that doesn't regenerate the duplicates.  There are several applications available that remove duplicates, but I am not sure which ones work or don't work.  I want information on this, but most importantly I want to understand how to fix this problem permanently.  Also, I read somewhere that Mac's new operating system, Lion, can help deal with duplicates.  I don't have Lion, but I would be willing to get it, if this would fix the problem.

Had the same problem with 4 devices (two computers, an iPhone and an iPod). The solution is simple: open the Address Book application in your mac, ask it to locate duplicate entries (under one of the top menu items, "edit" I think), and then ask it to consolidate them: it took me all of three seconds after I figured it out: worked like a charm! PS: if you have more than one mac with unconected Address Books, repeating the operation in the second one may be a good idea.

  • My iPhone has killed four pairs of earbuds

Four times now since I got my iPhone in mid-July, my earbuds have gone bad on one side. The first two times it sounded like a tweeter (i.e. high pitched frequencies sounded "crunchy"), then a woofer (low sounds sounded crunchy), and now it is sort of a weird buzz, which is different than either of the past two.
Every time so far I just brought them in to the apple store and they gave me a new pair without problems. This last pair lasted less than a week.
I definitely do not listen to music at loud volumes -- I am not into that at all. I have no idea what is going on. It seems crazy to me that the phone/earbud combination would be designed in a way that the phone could even put out enough volume to damage the earbuds (if that is in fact the cause).
Anyway, has this been happening to anybody else? Could there conceivably be something wrong with the phone itself, or is this par for the course?

I haven't experienced the same - still using the original set included with my iPhone purchased on 6/29 which work great and based on the number of posts here regarding this which have been few and far between, I don't believe this is par for the course and shouldn't be nor do I believe your iPhone has killed anything. I think you've experienced some bad luck getting a bad earbud set one after the other which doesn't seem likely and should not happen but certainly possible.
Keep making Apple replace your earbuds until you get a set that doesn't fail and/or try a loaner iPhone (should be at no charge in this situation) with a new earbud set. If this works without issue with the loaner iPhone for a week or so and then fail just after being used with your iPhone, this will indicate the problem is with your iPhone and will be repaired or replaced under warranty.

  • Music wont sync on my new iphone 4s. Restored it from a backup and now there's no music on it. In the music tab it says: Thomas iPhone has access to music on iCloud. Songs can be fetched via WIFI or a mobile network. What to do?

Restored it from a backup and now there's no music on it. In the music tab it iTunes says: Thomas iPhone has access to music on iCloud. Songs can be fetched via WIFI or a mobile network. The pnly thing I can chose to sync are voice memos.
    What can I do?

If you want all the songs from an artist on your phone you can to to the artist view, tap on the artist, scroll to the bottom of the list and you will see a Download All button.  This works for playlists and albums too (scroll to the bottom and tap the Download All button).  I suppose if you wanted all your music on your phone you could create a smart playlist in iTunes on your computer that would contain all your music, upload it to iTunes match (Store>Update iTunes Match), and then you would get a Download All button at the bottom of this playlist on your phone to download all your songs.

  • Can you merge two user accounts on macbook? my wife has created a user on her new macbook , then inadvertently created a second one when using the migration tool. 1st ac has her office 365 install, yet 2nd has her itunes database, docs and contacts.

Can you merge two user accounts on a macbook? my wife has created a new user on her new macbook air then, inadvertently, created a second one when using the migration tool. 1st a/c has her office 365 install, while 2nd has her itunes database, docs and contacts. What is the best way forward to get everything into the one account? Not sure if the office 365 will allow another installation into the second account, otherwise would just do that and delete the first, if that is possible?

There is no merge but you can move data from one account to another via the Shared folder. Data is copied from Shared. Watch your free space when copying. These are large files.  Do one at a time if you are on a small drive. After making copy, delete from other users before you start next copy.
Office365 installs in the main Applications folder and is available for all users on the computer. Activation is tied to the drive not the User.

  • ITunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services.  Reconnect or try again later AND Your iPhone has never been backed up to this computer AND always Not Responding

First: I get the message telling me that "iTunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services.  Reconnect or try again later."
Second: In the Summary Tab under Backups, iTunes is telling me that my iPhone has never been backed up to my computer - which is not true. It's also telling me that my iPhone has never been backed up to iCloud. Again, not true. Although my backups are all missing from iTunes, I can see what I think is them in their folder: C:\Users\*your user name here*\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync.
Third: iTunes is SLOOOOOOOOW. It takes nearly ten minutes - sometimes more - to launch, and when it does, it's constantly not responding. It seems every time I touch something it stops responding.
Fourth: I've been searching this "help" forum for a solution, and I've seen many other references, yet the only suggestion I've seen from someone from Apple is a reference to a solution that is over 2 years old - and DOESN'T WORK for anyone I can see who's tried it!
I've tried everything I could think of, and that others have suggested, including:
    Uninstalling and re-installing iTunes
Ensuring I have the latest version of iTunes
    Re-setting sync history
Renaming my Backup folder at the path above, and letting iTunes create a new one
Running around the house whilst pulling my hair and yelling obscenities
    None helped. At all.
Hmmm... Been a devoted Apple/iOS guy for years, but maybe it's time to switch to Android?

I've resolved the issue with iTunes constantly not responding. It's a bit embarrassing. I had a DVD in the drive that was corrupt, and once I was able to remove it - BAM - iTunes ran perfectly.
I'm still getting the Sync Services message, and my backups are still not showing in iTunes.
    Getting there.... I hope!

  • HT201529 I bought my iPhone from Verizon and having their service.  Does my iphone has a default SIM PIN?

I bought my iPhone from Verizon and having their service.  Does my iphone has a default SIM PIN?

The 4G LTE SIM card in your device contains information about your plan, device and more. You can set a SIM PIN so others won’t be able to access that information if your SIM card is removed from your device.
If you remove your SIM card and insert it another device (e.g., when you upgrade to a new device), you’ll be asked for the SIM card PIN. You can find your SIM card PIN in My Verizon if you’ve forgotten it. Or, if you’ve entered your SIM card PIN unsuccessfully 3 times, you’ll need the PIN Unblocking Key (PUK) to unlock your SIM card again. After using the PUK, you’ll need to create a new PIN for your SIM card if you want to secure it again.
To locate the SIM PIN / PUK numbers for your 4G LTE SIM card:
Navigate to the Overview page in My Verizon.
Click My PIN and Unblocking Key (PUK) under About My Device.
Your default PIN and PUK will be displayed in a pop-up window.
Click Close when you’re finished to return to the My Verizon Overview page.
You’ve successfully located your SIM PIN and PUK.

When I try to connect the Air with my iPhone to create an Hotspot, it drops the connection and gives an error message in the iPhone saying that the device (MacBook Air) is not supported. What can i do about it?

The problem has been fixed with the most recent OS X software update.

  • How do I get a new phone from my warrenty because my current iPhone has a pixel issue?

My current iphone has pixel that bothers me while im watching videos, playing games etc. I cant see the pixel when the whole screen is lit up but when majority of the screen is lit up and the top and bottom parts arnt I can see the pixel always going white all the time,

If it is only one pixel you are unlikely to get a replacement. The industry norm is five or six  stuck pixels before a replacement will be considered.
No harm in going to the Apple store and asking them nicely though... it sometimes works!

  • My iPad 4 wont pair with my iPhone 5.  Why?

My iPad 4 wont pair with my iPhone 5.  Why?

What are you trying to do? If you are trying to use your
iPhone to provide internet access for your iPad, does your
wireless provider offer internet tethering and is your account
    provisioned for it?
If you are trying to connect using bluetooth, this is not a feature of
iphone, iPad or iOS, never has been.
Bluetooth is supported for stereo headsets/speakers,
    handsfree telephone devices/headsets, some keyboards,
some peer-to-peer apps from the app store and internet
tethering where provided by the carrier.
Other than this it will not connect to a phone/computer/device.

  • What is an easier way to clear things on my iPhone to create storage

My friends iphone has almost no storage left on the phone and i want to help her what can i do about it?

What do you mean that 'your computer's don't like iTunes'? You can download songs from the iTunes app on the phone, but at sometime, you will need iTunes on your computer. For example, you can use songs for ring tones as shown here: http://www.simonblog.com/2012/12/01/itunes-11-how-to-create-free-ringtone-and-te xt-tone/. But, that requires iTunes on your computer.

  • How Health App chooses between Apple Watch and iphone

For step counter, the Health App seems to pick up both steps measured by the Watch and iPhone. Even I put Watch on the top of the phone as the source, the Health app picks up duplicated data from Watch and iPhone if I carry both of them. Is there a way to fix that? Cause the data actually is very misleading.
PS. Another interesting thing is that sometimes watch and iPhone measure the same number of steps and sometimes they don't and my little test shows that iPhone actually more accurate.

I have the same issue, but my iPhone actually has fewer steps counted. I did a dumb test to count steps myself and looks like my iPhone has more accurate steps. The thing bothering me most is the Health app picks steps from iphone and watch. It doesn't recognize sometimes the data is duplicated.

  • On the iPhone has already been activated the maximum number of free accounts.

After updating to iOS 5.1 to 6.0.1 I can not log in to iCloud.
The whole thing looks like that I am, one of the turn, and now holds the iPhone when you try to log on I get this message: "This iPhone has been activated the maximum number of free accounts."
Since I could not login I decided to create a free Apple ID. The whole process ran successfully until finally came the message: "You can not create a free iCloud account on your device."

You won't be able to create any more free accounts on your phone - you will either need to use one of the accounts that's already been created on it, or use a different device to create another account.
