Re: Payment failed - Nokia site not trustworthy??

I wud say no. Nokia site not trustworthy

Hi hillebillys,
Your payment failing is not because the site is not trustworthy, as it is secure and all information is confidential and secure.
Have you got enough money on your account to process the payment and have you entered all details correctly?
If you are having problem, I suggest you call your Nokia Helpline.
Regards,
haZey

  • Nokia sites and services

Nokia sites and services By using the build-in web browser of E63, opening this address: "http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/maps-support/compatibility-and-download" always ends up with blank page and this message appears: [... "fastinnerhtml!" ...] And the following address: "http://maps.ovi.com/services/mobile" ends up with this message: [... Sorry... Ovi Maps isn't available for mobile web browsers, but you can view it in all its glory on your PC or Mac. ...] Why ? Why is it that the company whose main products are smart phone but its service can not be accessed by using its phones? It seems to me, many nokia's sites are more and more complicated. I like Yahoo and Google which provide mobile sites or basic html. Perhaps, Nokia's web designers never use Nokia smart phones for browsing.

    Hi dl
try contacts.ovi.com/dist/nmob, its what I have as a link on my E71 and you can access the maps info and stuff from there.
Alternatively, have you tried the 'my nokia' link from the mobile, you can access ovi from there and download the ovi suite and you can manage your maps using that.
    Good luck.
PS I tried your 2nd link above and get the same so don't worry about it, just a matter of finding the right place

  • Paid Down Payment Request from 2007 not visible in 8.8

    Hello experts:
I recently upgraded a customer from 2007 to 8.8, and an existing fully paid down payment request is now not visible anymore in the "incoming payment" window due to some of the changes in 8.8. But I also cannot reconcile the transaction because paid down payment requests cannot be reconciled.
I tried to cancel the incoming payment in order to apply it differently, but that also fails with a strange error message ("Cannot cancel payment: One of the credit notes has been deleted. [3524-6]").
I could create a JE to transfer the balance from the liabilities account to the asset account within the BP, then reconcile the two transactions in the asset account, and effectively having zero balance in the liabilities account, but I'd like to reconcile the two transactions in the liabilities account as well, so that they're really closed.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.
    Joerg.

    Thanks for your reply Jitin.
My issue is related to A/R, so the mentioned query doesn't turn up any results. However, a few minutes ago, the same issue appeared in A/P, so I tried the query again, with no luck.
I will proceed to log a support message and post back with the solution.
    Thanks,
    Joerg.

  • [java] Failed at "Could not get DeploymentManager".

I am running the second example in the BPEL Help tutorial. In that we are supposed to run ant from tutorials\127.OrderBookingTutorial\PriceQuote and it gives error because it is not able to resolve
my PC name 5mq9p91. I changed couple of build.properties files and for hostname put in the IP address, so some of these worked, but some of the places still have 5mq9p91 causing FAILURE.
Where does ant get my machine name, how I can get it to pull full qualified name or the IP address?
    ERROR:
    [echo] Deploying SelectManufacturingUI using "admin_client.jar deployer:oc4j:opmn://5MQ9P91:6003/home -file C:\HOME\bpel\ProcessManager\product\10.1.3.1\OracleAS_1\bpel\samples\tutorials\127.OrderBookingTutorial\PriceQuote\SelectManufacturingUI/SelectManufacturingUI.ear ..."
[java] Failed at "Could not get DeploymentManager".
    (1. EXECUTION OF ANT BELOW)
Actual problem is once I complete this exercise, partner link has compilation error, because the WSDL does not have complete qualified PC name.
In the WSDL you can see the reference to "soap:address location="http://5MQ9P91:8888/orabpel/default/RapidDistributors/1.0""
how do I change this to have complete qualified address?
    Actual Error:
    Error:
[Error ORABPEL-10903]: failed to read wsdl
[Description]: in "bpel.xml", Error loading schemas from wsdl.
Error while loading schemas from wsdl file at location "http://11.111.111.11:8888/orabpel/default/RapidDistributors/RapidDistributors?wsdl". The reason is http://5MQ9P91:8888/orabpel/xmllib/ws-addressing.xsd.
Please verify the schemas defined in wsdl.
[Potential fix]: If your site has a proxy server, then you may need to configure your BPEL Server, designer and browser with your proxy server configuration settings (see tech note on http://otn.oracle.com/bpel for instructions).
    (2. RapidDistributors WSDL INFO BELOW)
Few things I did to solve the problem, without much success:
Installed BPEL and when I use firefox I get DNS Lookup Error
    http://5mq9p91:8888/
Now if I use http://5mq9p91.na.zzzzz.net:8888/ it works fine and if I use the IP address it works fine.
Have the same problem with IE, but after putting entried in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file problem went away.
I also added DNS Suffix na.zzzzz.com in the Control Panel --> Network --> TCP/IP --> Advanced --> DNS Tab

But now that I run ANT it still has the "Could not get DeploymentManager" problem, so it was not because of machine name translation.

more over, actual problem is to fix the WSDL file:

  • Bad news for "connection failed, wlan / wifi not f...

Sometime ago I wrote this in my blog: Conn. failed Wlan not found
And, like most of you who are now reading this post, I've spent hours trying to google a solution, totally without success. But at least, after so much reading and learning, I've come to a definite (and very teaching) conclusion: this issue is due to nothing less but a shameful bug in Symbian^3's DHCP client. There's no blaming the router's settings or characteristics, because with exactly the same routers and settings, most other phones can connect.
However, I always hoped that the Nokia crew were taking note of this bug and working on it, and I've spent months waiting for a fix in some of the firmware updates. I've done two updates since I got the phone (mine is a C7, but I believe it's a Symbian^3 "feature"), to no avail: disheartedly, both times I've seen that the bug remained there.
"Maybe in Symbian Belle?" I said to myself. "Of course. They can't be that blunt! The've got to fix it in Belle." So, yesterday I updated my C7 with the "leaked" Belle firmware and, you know what? Yes! They've been certainly working on the bug! This way:
So far, when trying to connect to some wireless routers we got the error message: "Conn. failed. Wlan not found". Now, after making us wait so much for Belle (and not yet officially released), there's no such message any more!
Oh, well, certainly we still can't connect to the router, but now the message reads: "Connection failed. Wi-fi netw. not found".
Nokia, this is un-be-lie-va-ble. I know you're reading this. Will you ever fix the mentioned problem in Symbian? It's no small bug, folks.

    Hi Torben
Thank you for contacting Nokia Care customer support.
Since we wrote last I have got a lot more experience with the Belles situation in this area.
Recently suspicion fell on a bug in old saved data from the "Anna" that causes general network error.
To solve it, there must be a backup - but NOT the programs / settings, since they bear the error.
Subsequently, disconnect the phone from, select the Offline profile (Press and hold the cards on the off button and choose the one on this list)
"Ring" now * # 7370 # accept and enter the security code is 12345, if it asks for it.
Your security code if you have change it.
Set Time & Date and reviewing start-up menus.
Get immediately sent to the settings for data and multimedia.
Restart your phone and try now about the Internet is working properly.
Do they do it; you can safely restore contacts and whatever else you have in your backup.
I would personally appreciate it if you want to participate in a brief survey that will be about my response to you. Customer survey will receive a separate e-mail.
If there is anything I can do for you, then you're obviously more than welcome to contact me again.
    Sincerely
    Jannik Petersen

  • Club Nokia and Nokia Sweden not responding on e-ma...

    Hallo!
I have few questions about the membership and registration in Club Nokia which the Nokia Care staff could not or didn't want to answer on. The Nokia Sweden support staff didn't even reply to my message. Not only did they not reply on my message concerning the Club Nokia membership, but they never seem to reply on anything, what ever question I ask them. Once there was some technical issue with the Web site and one of the many of my messages didn't seem to have been sent to them. But that can be excused. But what about all the other times I have sent messages to them which they didn't reply on? I have been sending messages (via the e-mail contact form) to Nokia Sweden ever since I bought my first Nokia mobile phone which was like year 2003 or something like that. And they always replied on any concerns I might have had. But during the last like two years right now I was never able to get a reply from them whatever question I brought up, including the question about what's up with them and this behaviour. I have been sending messages to them for two years time period right now, from different computers, even different operating systems, and filling out different e-mail addresses where I want the reply to be sent. But still nothing!
Maybe it will work out better and I may get the reply faster if I send them the message in a bottle?... they are such a****les! This behaviour has changed my whole picture of Nokia as a company and as a brand. It used to be easy and obvious to me before what brand I would buy when I walked out to buy a new mobile phone. But right now if I was about to buy a new mobile phone (have a N73 right now) I would be in some serious doubt whether or not to buy a Nokia phone. Mobile phones of today are not as they were three or five years ago. Today, other manufacurers have developed and improved their product lines quite radically. Simply put: Nokia is not the best brand in the bussiness anymore. A Nokia product is not the only good enough product. Besides, their handhelds are totally useless on a Linux computer. That goes totally against and is contrary to their claimed beliefes and almost heroic proclamation of open source and Symbian OS being the best solution for smartphones which several manufacturers use today in their products. So I might chose a competing brand instead. What ever brand I might chose in the near future (i'm planning to buy a new smartphone or PDA next year) I will definitly take in concern the producers relation with customers. I don't accept the way I have been treated by Nokia Sweden. I could of course have called them on the phone, but that's not an excuse for the e-mail communication to be out of function, out of order, or what ever is going on over there.
E-mail communication is becoming and already is a basis for corporation-customer communication. Many big names in the IT bussiness have solely technical support by e-mail, and nothing else. When they do have technical support by phone, a great part of the customer base choses to e-mail them instead. So e-mail communication is becoming more used then the phone even between regular people like us who spend time on this discussion board. So e-mail communication is not something that is allowed to be neglected in favor for support via the phone. If we look at the way people communicate today it would become obvious that e-mail and SMS/MMS communication play an important part.
And Nokia is supposed to be "Connecting People"! Hah! So ironic!
Note! One very important thing that must be underlined here is that this bad relation thing, and Nokia not replying on e-mails only and surely applies to Nokia Sweden. Nokia UK for instance has always replied to what ever the question I had in mind. So for every time Nokia Sweden didn't reply to me, I translated the message to English and asked Nokia UK and I always got a sattisfying answer. Many thanks to you guys! You're the best! This positive and good reception may be a reason enough for me to move to England! Seriously!
Initially I just wanted to ask the questions I have below. But I felt like this post needed to be expanded little bit to give you a short flashback or foreword and to share my experience with you. Feel free to comment if you have had any bad experience with either Nokia Sweden or other Nokia support or customer care or so called "Nokia Care" depertments.
    Now to my initial questions.
    1. What is Club Nokia?
    2. What's the difference between Club Nokia and My Nokia? If My Nokia is just a new name for Club Nokia, then what else has changed except the name?
    3. Is it true that one can get a personal Club Nokia card by mail after registering for Club Nokia?
    4. What is the Club Nokia card used for?
    5. Is it a condition that must be fulfilled that one registers the purchased phone and shows the Club Nokia card in order to get warranty service at an authorized Nokia service shop? If it's not a condition for warranty service to have the Club Nokia card, can it still be used for those purposes (i.e. verifying the date of purchase) instead of showing the purchase receive?
    Thanks in advance!

And if you need to contact them in your own language, you could maybe use the contact form on nokia.se pages:
    http://www.nokia.se/link?cid=PLAIN_TEXT_494072
after doing a quick google around the subject it seems pretty clear that there is no club nokia anymore but rather MyNokia. They do have swedish site:click here

  • Nokia to NOT allow updates to Symbian apps

I dont know if anyone here has heard the news about the future of the Nokia / Ovi Store?
As of 1st Jan 2014 Nokia will not allow any new apps in the store, but even more worrying is the fact they wont allow updates for existing apps
This means that when facebook or youtube change the API's none of our apps will work and we will not be able to update them through the Nokia Store.
Im sure you realise the implications, basically all of our symbian / meego phones will be pretty much useless soon after January, maybe some 3rd party developers can issue updates via their own websites but who knows.......
And Nokia told us just recently that they would support symbian until 2016.
I have now lost all trust in Nokia

I am sure, in corporate board room, there was a calculation based on anticipated sales, device longevity, and projected move of customers to remaining platforms (WP8 and ASHA).
On paper I am sure those seemed sound to the people making the decisions.
In reality, they will greatly anger those of us who have stuck by Nokia and continue to use our well built symbian and Meego devices.
In reality, what ever minimal cost there is associated with allowing updates is greatly offset by the goodwill that it will generate by supporting legacy users.
A smart corporation would use this to their advantage.  Put banner ads on the site with WP8 devices, smartly displayed, advertise the new features, new apps, aids to transition to the new devices so that everyone coming to get apps/updates for their aging phone would seem them.  That way, you keep the goodwill of your current customers.  And give them a reason to want and move towards your new WP8/ASHA phones.  Wow do these people need to hire some good PR and ad people.  Bean counters make financially sound and consumer stupid decisions.
Instead of using this to their advantage, they will make users progressively hate Nokia/MS.  Eventually after January 1, Facebook or Twitter or some other services will change their API.  Without the ability to fix the current app, it will be broken and remain broken.  Now, every time you go to use it, you will think very bad things about Nokia and especially Microsoft.  That is how the mind works.  You will not think, "I need to buy a new lumia", you will think "I will never buy Nokia again" and will go buy iphone, android, jolla, firefox os..... any thing but Microsoft/Nokia who you perceived as harming you.  That is just simple human nature and psychology.
But I am sure the corporate bean counters know better, right?
I will say honestly, when it comes time to replace my N9, I will look elsewhere.  The sad part of all this is that prior to this announcement I still had positive feelings about Nokia and Microsoft.  Those end January 1.

  • Taking CC Payments through iWeb site

I have made a few iweb pages in the past for personal use, but now I would like to setup a small business.
Is it fairly easy to setup some sort of payment method. I tried searching and couldn't find much info. Is the easiest way paypal? Is it hard to setup some kind of merchant account that just takes cc payments through my site?
    Thanks

Have a look at the other thread I posted in my previous post and especially have a look at this:
    http://www.mals-e.com/home.php
    and this
    https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_shoppingcart-intro-outside
I'm not a seller so I didn't try them sorry. However mals-e looks interesting (I think you can embed it to your website with an html snippet)... You might have a try and report the results... That would be really appreciated... So people like me Roddy and whoever could answer this kind of questions a bit better...
    Regards,

  • Payment failed

I purchased my lumia 610 10 month ago, it comes with 1 year free subscription of nokia music but after update it is showing me "payment failed" error!
guys any one faced same error..

Where are you located, JunaidMemon? Can you share with us the error message you're getting when trying to download songs from the MixRadio app? Were you able to successfully download songs from the app before this happened? We'll wait for your reply.

  • If my monthly payment fails, do my apps stop at once?

With the security breach, we may have to change our credit cards.  If for that reason or any other, a monthly payment fails, do our CC apps stop working at once, or do we get any period of grace to correct the payment?  Does anyone know this?

Thanks, but I don't quite understand your answer.  This is not about cancelling.
The question is: if a monthly payment doesn't go through, what happens?
Suppose my credit card payment doesn't work.  For example, my card might have been stopped by the bank for suspected fraud reasons, or the card number changed following a re-issue of the card, or there may have just been a payment error.  Does my Photoshop CC subscription stop immediately?  I might not even know that the payment has failed for a few days, and it might take me a bit longer to find out what has gone wrong, and reset the credit card on my Adobe ID.
In the mean time, can I still use my Adobe CC applications, even though a monthly payment has not gone through on the due date (for reasons outside my control, perhaps, and maybe even without my knowledge)?

  • E7 Nokia Messaging not working after anna update

    hi
nokia messaging not working after anna update. when i
    -choose provider (hotmail/gmail/yahoo...etc)
    -enter username & password
    -click OK to T&C
-get error message: "cannot enable this service on the device"
    any ideas?

I'm having a similar issue. It appears to only impact Hotmail accounts. For me though, this happened without updating the OS. The email client is simply failing to connect to the Hotmail interface. Only two possibilities, either Microsoft changed something on the email gateway or Nokia changed something on their end. Either way, it's not working and has been out of commission for the past week. If this is how corporate friends get along, I'd hate to see what happens in a adversarial relationship.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Nokia does not produce any phones in Finland anymore and has not done so for quite a while. No lumia phones were ever made in Finland afaik.
Buy from a reputable store, check the specs on the Nokia site HERE and verify they match. Also check the model number (RM-XXX)

  • 6288 message sending failed. Sending not allowed.

    Hi,
I have a 6288, and just recently it has been coming up with the message 'Message sending failed. Sending not allowed' randomly when I try to send a txt. (A similar msg appears if I try to make a call as well). All other functions appear to work normally. The only way to get the phone to send/call is to switch off then on again. I can receive txt/calls when the phone is like this. This morning it also said that 'sim card registration failed'. Any help will be appreciated.

Have you tried updating your phone?
If not I would recommend you to do so.
    Link here: http://europe.nokia.com/softwareupdate
Before the update be sure you meet the system requirements to perform the action and don't forget to backup your data first.
