Re: Porting out, how will the last bill workout?

@KinquanaH_VZW:
Please tell how does it bill if the number is already on month to month after years of service?
Is it prorated then?
Does one need to take any action after a confirmed port to a different carrier? (confirmed by the new carrier)

    Good question huCairs! Whether you are on a month-to-month contract or still within the 2-year contract, the Terms & Conditions of the Customer Agreement (http://bit.ly/Kg6KQP) still apply equally to any contract services. So there is still no proration for ending service, since the account will complete the close at the end of the bill cycle.
We certainly don't want to lose you as a customer. Please let us know if there's something we can help with that's making you consider porting out.
Thank you

  • Porting out, how will the last bill workout?

    Looking to port out soon. I know my EFT is $320. But not sure of what the final plan charges will be. My bill just posted, and my billing cycle starts on the 3rd of the month. How does Verizon handle the last bill. Is their any prorating? Should I pay this bill or wait for the final bill? Thanks!

    budney, I regret to hear your considering canceling service. Leiko27, thanks for the information,  your correct. If your under contract and you call to request cancellation of service, the cancellation will not occur within the system until the end of your current bill cycle. Your final bill will have your early termination fee listed.
    Additionally, budney I would like to know why your canceling and review any options so that you can stay with our wireless family. I will send you a private message so that we can discuss your account in further detail. We truly do not want to loose you as a customer and want to make sure you are happy with your service. Your important to us and we value you as a customer.

    If you cannot get this information from the seller
    Removing a device from a previous owner’s account
    You need to return the Device for a refund,

  • How to find out which was the last Function Fired in a given schema ..?

    Hi All ,
    Suppose there is a function called track_account (Accnt_id, bank_name ...)
    I have a requirement wherein I need to find out when was the last date when this function was called , by which user and what was the parameter list that was passed .For example i this case - what accountid and bank_name combinations were passed .
    I know the information is stored in one of the V$ tables but am not able to locate the exact table and column that would give me this information .
    Please suggest .

    However, I was trying to figure out a way to do this without having to change the calling command line, because due to legacy reasons, it is not possible to change the command line calling the parent applications of this common code.You cannot change the command line, but you can change the applications?
    In main() do this:
    System.setProperty("whoami",(new Throwable().getStackTrace()[0].getClassName()));Elsewhere:
    String whoami = System.getProperty("whoami");

    How will the Time Capsule support IPv6 and coop with the new emerging security threats that will emerge due to the new technical possibilities that IPv6 provide?

    Cross your fingers and hope.
    Obviously if there is any big or known threat Apple will send out a firmware fix.
    But the TC is designed to be end user simple device. It has no firewall that is visible at any rate. I don't know that it truly doesn't have a firewall but it is not part of the end user controls.
    IMO if you have major security concerns that go beyond end device firewall, which is where Apple do put most of the security, since firewall in the router is plainly not a stop to anybody deliberately downloading an infected file or website, and most end users.. do not want a firewall that prevents them using the web like a business does, where only certain ports are allowed. Everything else tough luck.. you are not allowed to use it. Then TC is unsuitable for you anyway.. buy a proper firewall appliance.

  • Defaulting Null Values in an outer join to the last joined row's values.

    I have a situation where I need to fill in the missing values from an outer join with the last values returned by the join.
    The query is based on a date table, an organization table and a transaction table.
    SELECT D.DATE_ID, O.ORG_ID, T.VALUE
    FROM D_ORGANIZATION O, D_DATE D, F_TRANSACTION T
    WHERE D.DATE_ID = T.DATE_ID(+)
    AND T.ORG_ID = O.ORG_ID(+)
    AND O.ORG_NAME = '&NAME'[
    AND D.THE_DATE >= ADD_MONTHS( TO_DATE( '&&PERIOD_DATE', 'DD-MON-YYYY' ), -23 )
    AND D.THE_DATE <= ADD_MONTHS( TO_DATE( '&&PERIOD_DATE', 'DD-MON-YYYY' ), 24 )
    So the query will return all dates in the 4 year period, and where transactions exist the relevent value.
    DATE_ID ORG_ID VALUE
    38291     2 99.8
    38321     2 45.1
    38352
    38383
    38411
    What I need to happen is:
    DATE_ID ORG_ID VALUE
    38291     2 99.8
    38321     2 45.1
    38352     2 45.1
    38383 2 45.1
    38411     2 45.1
    Lag appears to be of no use because it will only pick up the last genuine value, so using
    NVL(T.VALUE, LAG(T.VALUE,1) OVER ( .... )
    Gives:
    ATE_ID ORG_ID VALUE
    38291     2 99.8
    38321     2 45.1
    38352     2 45.1
    38383
    38411
    The length of the data gap can vary as constituent organisations don't all return their data at the same time, and there may be intermediate dates where no data is returned , but the value needs to be calculated.
    What's going on here is that a gaph is being generated where the tool requires data points to plot the line, once the real data ends a bespoke trend calculations takes over based on the last value returned. I do not have access to the data warehousing options so a solution that doen't need them would be handy, but if not then options can be purchased.
    The tool can't use PL/SQL, but is perhaps a bespoke function in order?

    To do this wouldn't you need to know the data in advance? The real source table had 1800 organisations and 8,000,000 transactions.
    I Tried this as well, creating a pl/sql package as follows.
    create or replace PACKAGE stack AS
    TYPE gnt_push_numbers IS TABLE OF NUMBER INDEX BY PLS_INTEGER;
    TYPE gvt_push_varchars IS TABLE OF VARCHAR(1000) INDEX BY PLS_INTEGER;
    gna_push_numbers gnt_push_numbers;
    gva_push_varchars gvt_push_varchars;
    FUNCTION PUSH ( pn_push_var NUMBER, pn_offset NUMBER) RETURN NUMBER DETERMINISTIC;
    FUNCTION PUSH ( pv_push_var VARCHAR, pn_offset NUMBER) RETURN VARCHAR DETERMINISTIC;
    FUNCTION POP_NUM ( pn_offset NUMBER) RETURN NUMBER DETERMINISTIC;
    FUNCTION POP_VAR ( pn_offset NUMBER) RETURN VARCHAR DETERMINISTIC;
    END stack;
    CREATE OR REPLACE
    PACKAGE BODY "STACK" AS
    FUNCTION push(pn_push_var NUMBER, pn_offset NUMBER) RETURN NUMBER deterministic IS
    BEGIN
    gna_push_numbers(pn_offset) := pn_push_var;
    RETURN pn_push_var;
    END push;
    FUNCTION push(pv_push_var VARCHAR, pn_offset NUMBER) RETURN VARCHAR deterministic IS
    BEGIN
    gva_push_varchars(pn_offset) := pv_push_var;
    RETURN pv_push_var;
    END push;
    FUNCTION pop_num(pn_offset NUMBER) RETURN NUMBER deterministic IS
    BEGIN
    RETURN gna_push_numbers(pn_offset);
    END pop_num;
    FUNCTION pop_var(pn_offset NUMBER) RETURN VARCHAR deterministic IS
    BEGIN
    RETURN gva_push_varchars(pn_offset);
    END pop_var;
    END stack;
    Unfortunately it appears to act before the rows are sorted, so will only work in specialised circumstances, in that you have to ensure the rows have been sorted before the function is used.
    SELECT PUSH(COL), POP..(COL)
    FROM ( SELECT etc.
    Luckily the client decided they didn't want to mix their graphs any more so a more classic approach using a base table select for actuals and then a date table select with a sub-query columns for the projection provided a simple solution.

  • How will the Adobe Certified Expert program be managed with the shift to Creative Cloud?

    I am presently studying to certify as an Adobe Certified Expert/Adobe Certified Instructor in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. My studying has been based upon the CS6 versions.
    How will the ACE program work once we switch to CC? Should I wait for more changes to the program before taking my exams?
    Thank you!

    Hi Dreia, denniR,
    We will offer CC exams and keep the existing CS6 exams available while Adobe continues to sell and support our Creative Suite 6 product line. Creative Suite 5 exams will be retired as the new CC offerings are released.
    I know there are a lot of questions that will come up as our ACEs begin to work with CC and prep for the new certifications. To coordinate with the CC certifications, the exams will now be based on time periods. Meaning your certification will be valid for a pre-specific length of time and  will be required to recertify to maintain the CC product certifications. We will begin posting the specifics around the timeframes, policies, etc. in advance of the CC exam launches. Feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] with questions and comments.
    Thanks,
    Tiffany

  • How will the itunes match app affect my data usage?

    how will the itunes match app affect my data usage? It seems to take a while to connect and start playing so i'm assuming if my range isnt the best it will drop out like a bad radio station???

    What I have done is create playlists and I'll download the playlists to the iPhone while I'm at home, on Wi Fi, and listen while I'm out and about. I've only downloaded the occasional tracks on 3G (mainly because at&t's network was so terrible). This method worked pretty well for me.
    Incidentally, iTunes Match should not be used as a substitute for a backup: FAQ:  Why iTunes Match can NOT be used as a backup!

    Tanya,

    --> Here 1000 is not correct value, as 1000 is change to 3000. It should be 3000. record should be as below.
    Document Number| Customer | sales value|STOR_NO(ROCANCEL)
    1001| RAMLAL | 30000 |C
    --> As this data related to sales, and i hope you are using standard ABR extractors(Business Content).
    ABR datasources delivers before and after images.
    Before image:
    Document Number| Customer | sales value|STOR_NO(ROCANCEL)
    1001| RAMLAL | -3000 |C
    Before image:
    Document Number| Customer | sales value|STOR_NO(ROCANCEL)
    1001| RAMLAL | 0 |C --> value changed from 3000 to Zero.
    If you are loading in additive or Overwrite into an ODS total sales for 1001 at end of day 4 will be Zero.

  • How will the new OSX Mavericks affect applications already installed and using Mountain Lion?

    How will the new OSX Mavericks affect applications already installed and using Mountain Lion?

    If you're asking about compatibility, that would be something you would need to ask of the app developers, though most apps compatible with Mountain Lion should be compatible with Mavericks. You can also consult the tables here:
    http://roaringapps.com/apps
    though that information comes from user reports and so should not be considered authoritative.
    If you're asking whether installing Mavericks will delete your apps, no, it won't, though a good backup is always highly recommended.

  • How will the preorder work?

    how will the preorder work?

    Yes.
    You can use the 3G as an iPod Touch - there is no device limit for the number of iPods, iPhones, and iPads that can be synced with the same iTunes library and iTunes account on the same computer.
    The iPhone 4 will use a micro-SIM card - just as with the iPad. Keep the no longer activated SIM card with your 3G inserted in the 3G even after the iPhone is no longer activated. In order to install a firmware update on a no longer activated iPhone or restore a no longer activated iPhone with iTunes if wanted or needed, the no longer activated SIM card needs to be inserted in the iPhone - the SIM card that was used with the iPhone when it was activated.
    You can enable Airplane mode followed by turning on wi-fi access when internet access is required.

  • Is my 'pin number' for porting out my number the same as my 'billing password'?

    Also I'm on a family plan, if there's one 'pin number', does the whole family share that one pin or is it by device?

    When you port you need your cell number, your Verizon wireless account number and the account pin. The pin normally is the last four digits of the account owners social security number.
    Please note if you are just a line on the master account only the account owner can port the number over to another carrier.
    Good Luck

  • Marker Keys Expression, how about the last key

    Hi, if you have dabbled in expressions you probably have already found how nifty the expression
    thisLayer.marker.nearestKey(time);   is. I first used it to put XMP metadata on the screen.
    I also tend to use it for changing text instead of the source property since it's easy to see the text,
    where it's at and so forth.
    I've read the manual, but haven't found anything like:
    thisLayer.marker.lastKey(time);
    What I would like is for whatever property I am using from the last keyframe to remain the value until it reaches
    the next keyframe.
    Anyone know how that might be done?

    Mylenium, You and your site have been more than helpful to me. It's people like you that make any community worth it's while.
    Adobe should put a larger than life statue of you in the center of San Jose, or at least give you like free vacations to hawaii or something :-)
    If you are ever in my neck of the woods I'm buying
    I have a project I am supposed to turn over to other studios so they can use it as a template. Rather than have them dig around through layers to change titles and stuff, I am putting all the keyframes into a configuration composition and having all the other layers take their cues from it.  Never tried to do anything like that before but it's actually looking like a nice solution and an easy way to set up timing and text through all the compositions just by opening one and editing. I think the extra work and the extra expressions will pay off as the project gets used over and over.
    Again Thanks, can't wait to get into the studio monday and try this out.

  • How will the applet tag behave for users without Java?

    I am considering using an applet I have created as a splash screen for my website. But I am worried that by doing this I will loose all the visitors that don't have Java. Is there a way I can have the splash screen detect whether or not the user has Java? If so, is there a way I can have the splash screen automatically forward the non-java users to the main page? Maybe I could put something between the <applet></applet> tags?
    Caleb

    That doesn't help. Had you read my post more carefully you would have better understood what I wanted. In any case, I have already figured out how to automatically forward the non-Java users to the main page. The only thing I worry about now is about the people who's computers crash whenever they try to run a Java applet.
