I cannot discover how to change the number of times my phone rings before it goes to voice mail or terminates the call. At present, it only rings twice, and that is not enough time to get the phone out of my purse, off my desk, and/or answer before the phone stops ringing. I would like for it to ring at least four times. How do I change the number of times it rings?

agree with Bifocals. For knowing your Voice Mailbox no. You can call
carriers customer service or check their web site. My storm came from
Verizon but I'm registered with some other operator. I didn't find any
voice mail number Call Log -> Options -> General Setting ->
Voice Mail -> Access No.

No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that.

I just receive a call from the number 316.

I just receive a call from the number 316, ...... that was it, I answered, but nothing on the other line. I did a quick check to see if it was some type of message from Verizon, but nothing.
And with the number being only 316. I'm concerned about possible hacking.
Has anyone have any knowledge about this?

I know it can be concerning when you receive a call from an unknown number phoenix911. Here's what we recommend to prevent this. I'm sorry our control is limited as to the origination of this call or its ownership.

Since upgrading to 4.3.3 my iphone 3gs does not ring when receiving a call and the keyboard clicks have gone.

I'm afraid I might accidentially overlook messages the way they are handled now.

Somebody here will correct me if I'm wrong, but what you have to do is go into Settings, Mail/Contacts/Calendars and under Mail, turn off "Organize by Thread". I think that will make each message show individually.

Have you talked to your carrier (or your friend to his)? Could be an issue at their end.

Most of the current Apple Intel based computers are comparable in CPU speed. I don't think it is so much the model of laptop as it is the memory, and storage capacity of the machine. If you are going to use FCP on a regular basis, perhaps as a professional or semi-professional, then you should think about the maximum memory and a very large capacity internal disk drive. For instance, one hour of finished compressed video will take up about 1.5 to 2Gbytes of disk space. If you add up the raw footage and still imagery and audio, you'll use up your disk drive capacity real quick. So a hard disk on the order of 750Gbytes @ 7200rpms might be good for video editing. 5400RPMs might be slow to rendering times. Rendering a video might take up a lot of memory so more memory is better e.g. 8Gbytes.
As a rule of thumb, once you get to about 80% of your disk drive or memory you'll see degradation of performance.
You can check out macsales.com. THey have a menu system that will allow you to pick and choose from various alternatives. BTW, it's been said that although Macs are typically spec'd at a certain memory size, macsales.com found that Apple computers will actually support higher memory levels. That is, if 4Gbytes are spec'd, some machines support 6Gbytes. macsales.com will provide the guidance for you.
You might also consider buying an external disk e.g. 500Gbytes to carry around with you for back-up or transport to another machine.

I'm having similar issues. The iPhone4's face time works just as it always did but the iPad4 is not working. I can place a call but it won't connect, others can call and it rings but never connects. I've signed in and out of iTunes, removed and reinstalled the wifi, hard restart, and anything I can think of. It's driving me nuts!

Contact your carrier. Phone functions are a carrier responsibility. Have them check your account. Are you seeing any error messages?

I can't receive incoming calls and sms on my iPhone 4 after the 3G connection has been activated and used actively by me. Outgoing calls and messages do work and as long as I use the Wi-Fi connection everything's fine but the problem appears after switching to 3G. Any help? Thx in advance!

I think the next step is to do a reset by holding the sleep and home buttons down at the same time until the Apple logo appears. If you haven't done this before, keep holding the buttons when the turn off slider appears. The screen will go black and after what seems like an eternity, actually several seconds, the Apple logo will appear. When the logo appears, release the buttons.

I dont think its possible using Send mail step type.
But it can be done by using the FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1. Just create a method and Call this FM accordingly.

When my wife receives a call and her screen is locked she gets two choices. Remind me and answer. When I get a call, I get 3 buttons. Remind me, message and answer. Both are iPhone 4S with ios7.

8330 Call Forwarding...How do I set the number of rings before calls are forwarded? Right now it instantly forwards my calls but I don't want that. I want to change it so that let's say that if after 5 rings I don't answer the call is forwarded. I've looked everywhere for an answer but have had no luck. Any help would be appreciated. I am with Virgin Mobile if this makes a difference.

Well, call forwarding is a feature provided by your carrier -- it is not a function of the device. However it works for your carrier is how it works. Actually, from what I understand about call forwarding, it normally is an all-or-nothing circumstance...calls forward to the number you've asked them to be forwarded to, keeping you in a DND status. Regardless, though, if your carrier tells you how it works on their system, there's nothing that the device can do to override that. Unless there is some kind of 3rd party app that would do it, bypassing (somehow) the carrier network CF feature...but I've never heard of such a thing.

Increasing the number of rings on incoming calls

How can I increase the number of rings on the 8800 for incoming calls? Currently,I can set only 3 rings and that is often not enough time to get to the device. Any help greatly appeciated.

What do you mean by you can se three ring? You can set 3 vibration for profiles settings. Number of time your deivce will ring is dependent on your carrier.
