Because the e-mail-support page doesn't works at the moment (after sending a message I only get a blank page) I will ask my question here.
Since maybe 2 or 3 months my connection to WLAN-networks is really bad. I have nothing changed, neither the Windows version (Windows 7) nor drivers, but it does not work as good as it was.
Some examples:
I'm sitting 5 metres away from the wlan router. Only a wall is seperating. The notebook does not find any wlan-network. With my HP notebook the connection is good. I'm sitting on the desk where the router stands. The notebook finds the network, but Windows says connection seems to be only average or bad. My HP notebook has the best connection rating.
Anybody here who can help or can say how I contact the support per e-mail without getting only this blank page?

Hey,
After WLAN driver update make also sure that power saving mode is disabled for WLAN card. You can do this in Windows Power Management.

Driver update in such cases its always advisable but in my case it was the power saving of WLAN card. :)

I recently bought a Toshiba Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card, i've installed it and managed to get it to recognise my broadband but it does not see any other network devices. I was not supplied with any drivers or software to operate the card (I bought it from a proper dealer). Can you recommend downloads that would run this card?
I have a Satelite A30 laptop 1gb ram 60GB HDD.
Also large files sometimes stop transfering (hangs)when using my USB connection. The usb controller is using microsoft driver 5.1.2600.0 dated 1 june 2002.

I dont know which devices in the broadband you mean but usually if you want to communicate or transfer files between notebooks through the WLan so all computers must be in the same domain or workgroup.
I cannot give you a proper answer but only a suggestion. I have red that sometimes a lower power could be responsible for such issue. Try to disable the option Power safe in the USB root hub properties in the device manager.

My new Mac Mini does not find any VST instruments and also ....

Satellite A660 does not remember any passwords

Please help me!
My new Satellite A660 does not remember any passwords i ask it to remember( via those checkbox majiggers under info boxes) and some sites tell me my system time is incorrect when it appears to be correct!
I cant use "Remember Me" when i log into facebook, it tells me i have to be logged in to view that page, but if i dont use remember me i can log in fine...
If i type up my email and ask the site to remember it, it wont remember it!

If no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem with the wireless card or with something else.

Why Hp does not find any solution for Noisy Fan systems ?

I have to return it because of that noisy fan ; i was a new member of Hp family and i never investigate about that product for Laptop. After it got that gorgeous Laptop , i got this fan issue ; and i research that fan is working normal/anormal ; what i find out is Hp has a Noisy Fan Issue on all of the Video clips , Forum Websites even its own website ; I realy didnt know till i got it. If that is a common issue , Why that big brand HP doesnt solve that problem since many years ? I sincerely doesnt want to return this item because of fan ; because there is no comparative product in others company has .... (Bluetooth + Bluray + Finger print + 1gb (Integrated Graphic) and $749 ; i can not find any brand or product which includes that options in this price ..... So UNFORTUNATELY i am returning that Beautiful Laptop Because of ridiculous fan noise ; is that really hard to install a fan which is really silence ??? C309g not finding any wireless networks. Won't print off bluetooth either.

The C309g will not find any networks at all. Even when scanning from the machine and when doing it through the computer setup. Even typed in the SSID but still no link. Bluetooth will connect but will not communicate once I unplug the USB cord.

So when I restart the machine I can get the bluetooth light on and my computer to recognize it, but it still will not print. The device remains unconnected in the bluetooth setting on my computer. After that I will try and play with it again, but this time the only option in bluetooth settings is to activate the bluetooth radio and even though I hit On the blue light still doesn't come on.
As far as the wireless network, is there any tests I can run to test my radio or do I just have to take it back to best buy? Is it a common problem?

My 13 inch Macbook Can Not find ANY wifi networks! Help!

I turned on my Macbook today only to find that no wifi networks are showing up, not even the neighbors! Im connected to the eather right now. My roommates laptop PC can connect fine. I need some help fixing it. Why is it not finding ANY networks at all?

Open System Profiler and check if the compter can still recognize your wireless device. Try resetting the SMC as well and see if this helps.

Satellite A350D does not record sound

I have been browsing through the forums trying various settings through the control panel and webcam drivers but dont seem to be having any luck. There was a post talking about "bios" but different laptop version than mine.
My laptop was orignally Windows Vista but the harddrive went two weeks ago and had to be replaced. The recovery disks that were made when the laptop was bought new did not work at all as they would not load, and the Vista number on the sticker under the computer had worn out (my machine is about 4 years old) so we put Windows 7 on the machine.
I finally got my camera working again with a driver download but the sound / microphone recording is not working as there is no sound in the test videos I have done.
If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

If it's a US model, it's more likely to be A305D.
The model number looks something like Satellite A305D-S6831. The part number like PSAH0U-00J007.

Airport utility does not find any airport and time capsule hardware

Hi, I have 4 airport expresses (2 for music and one for extending network) and a time capsule that also acts as my wifi router. The expresses have always appeared and disappeared from the express utility, while the TC is always listed. Now airport utility cannot find find any of them, and after many rescans, and a few "successful" hard reboots (in the sense that they were configured, but then disappeared again), still does not see them. The strange thing is that the TC has to be working because this computer is hooked up to the internet via the wifi router, and it is working fine. Any ideas? The expresses are not that big of a deal, as I can always plug an ipod to play music, but they used to work. I am on 5.4.2 on the utility, having rolled it back a few months ago when some of these problems begain. thanks

Welcome to the discussions!
It sounds like you are trying to scan for and configure your Apple devices using wireless. If you haven't tried this yet, I think you will have much better luck if you connect an ethernet cable directly from your computer to the device that you are trying to "see".
If this does not work at first, it may help to power down both your computer and the device, then connect the ethernet cable and power the computer and device back up.

DBA Studio does not find any Database 8.1.7

I have a problem when startung DBA-Studio!
I installed Windows 2000 and Oracle 8.1.7.
In Enterprise Manager Console my node is recognised, Manger service and
Oracle81Agent are running. When starting the DBA Studio in "Manager Server
OMS" mode giving user/Password for SysMan account and the node-name, it
stops with VTO-4400 ! It can't find any Database and the user should use the
Enterprise Manager Console ! But this is done!!!

having done rmjvm, all java classes, including xml classes are gone so i suspect you need to redo initxml

Thanks for the assistance Carl. I was able to download and install the 7 hotfix(minus the manual fixes yet).

Apple TV does not find AirportExpress wireless network

Hi all,
this problem is driving me nuts, maybe someone here can help.
At the moment I have an Apple TV in our living room. There is an AirportExpress device in the same room, which is creating a wireless network (WAP/WAP2 Personal, name "BNK") and is connected to a DSL modem.
All computers (my MacBook Pro, my wife's Sony laptop) easily find the wireless network, whether they are in the living room or in any other room of our apartment.
The Apple TV, however, never finds our network - it gives me a list of many other networks from our neighbors, but our own network is never in the list. This even happens when the Apple TV is about 2 meters away from the AirportExpress.
Does anyone have any idea why the Apple TV is not picking up the network signal? Do I need to have a stronger WLAN access point because of potential interferences from the other networks? But why are the computers working fine, then?

I recently bought an Apple TV and hooked it up to my Sony 46" HD LCD TV.
My desktop is an iMac
The internet connection is through the Airport express conected to an ADSL touter.
The wireless network is working and I have access to internet through my iMac or other laptops.
While installing AppleTV it detects my network but seems does not connect to internet.
As a result while it synchronises with iTunes it fails to download from the internet directly. I am unable to upgrade to the latest version or play youTube or images from my mobileMe account.
I have tried figuring out the problem but unable to do so. Thanks for your help.

I have 2 x Satellite L300D-11V series laptop and both are having the same problem: they are not detecting my wireless network in my house but I have proved the wireless hub by using a third PC (HP) and works perfectly,
Ive checked the wireless switch is on and done the FN+F8 key but it still cannot find a network. I've checked the devices in the Network adaptors and it finds Realtek RTL8102E Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC but this is a LAN card isn't it?
Other devices show an Unknown Device but where would I find the Wireless device?

I don't know what kind of stories you heard in both shops but the fact is that Toshiba offers notebooks with WLAN card inside. All these notebooks are delivered with preinstalled operating system (recovery image) and have factory settings.
This recovery image contains operating system, all necessary drivers (including WLAN driver), Toshiba designed tools and utilities and some additional software. So if you buy new notebook with preinstalled OS the WLAN driver is there.
The statement from both shops is either misinformation or there is some misunderstanding.
