I recently ordered a Toshiba Satellite C75-A-10W and i installed Windows7 64bit operating system on it. I noticed that i miss a lot of drivers so I decided to look them up on the official website.
I entered Toshiba Romania, filled in the blanks until ''Operating system'' - there i could only select windows 8 and OS independent if i wanted to look up for drivers.
What should i do? Can you help me, please?
Where can i find Windows7 drivers? Can I use win8 drivers on my win7?
I really need some help finding these drivers.

The Satellite C75-A-10W is new series on the market released with Win 8 system
I assume that Win 7 drivers are not available yet. As far as I know Win 8.1 is a new candidate and possible the next bunch of drivers would be released for Win 8.1
Lets see if Win 7 driver would be released for these new notebook series.
In your case I recommend searching for single drivers at your own hand.
Use the mini PCI database to get details about the parts and devices built in the notebook as described here: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD0302U00000R01.htm
You can also check some Win 7 drivers released for other, older Toshiba notebook series.
In cases the built in parts are the same, the driver should be compatible.

I have P200D and Win7 works perfectly on it. You can install Win7 on your machine too.
On Toshiba download page you should be able to find drivers. If some tools or utilities are missing you can try to use stuff offered for P300.
Check a bit this forum. Im pretty sure you can find a lot of threads with similar theme.

Satellite Pro A200 PSAE7: Where to get the ATI driver for Win XP

Hi,
I have bought Toshiba Satellite Pro A200 PSAE7 and it was with Vista on from the beginning. I decided to upgrade (/downgrade) it to XP but there's problem with driver to graphic card (Radeon HD 2600 Series).
I can't find anywhere ati drivers (actually I found it on ati.amd.com site, but on this forum I read that Toshiba drivers are modified so that Radeon won't be overheating) and I'm wonderig if Vista ones will run on XP (I've downloaded all drivers but ati one)?
...and is it possible to downgrade my Vista to XP Pro through Miscrosoft site (or something like that) or do I have to reinstall it using my old copy (provided with old Toshiba)?

As mentioned in this forum, the original ATI or nVidia drivers are designed not for the notebook usage!!! The GPU drivers are designed for the graphic cards which are used in the desktop PCs!!! Such graphic cards are equipped with an own, big cooling module in order to prevent the hardware from overheating!!! The notebook GPUs dont support such huge cooling modules and therefore the drivers must control the performance and the temperature growth.

Satellite L505-10M - Where to get Win 64bit drivers?

I have bought a new laptop the L505-10M. I also bought a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit version.
I wanted to install it on this laptop but there are no drivers listed under the driver page for the L505-10M 64-bit.
What was even more surprising was that there arent even any drivers available for Vista 64-bit.
Yet the laptop is sold with a preinstalled version of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
So that means the drivers are there but havent been made available.
This bothers me alot. Can't get the Value Added Package and Flash Card support working.
Hope someone can clear this up for me.

Ok the drivers I downloaded are not working. Also the support desk told me to wait untill this week. They have made a Windows 7 x64 section in the driver lookup. But still no drivers are listed. Also there are still no drivers listed for Vista x64 either. So I'm still at a loss.
I'll try and call the support desk again tomorrow to see if they can finally resolve this.
So the problem is still not solved.

Go to Oralce.com....on the top right corner click on downloads and then from the list available choose the driver you need....they come with instructions for installing and downloading......Hope this helps

Tecra M7: Where to get Win XP Edit?

Hi,
I have recently bought a Tecra M7 off a friend who had neglected it. It has been lying around for over a year with a broken power port. As a result of this he has lost all the discs and the pen!
I have upgraded the ram and have a 120 gig HDD that I would like to put in it but as I do not have any of the discs this is going to cause me a problem.
I have downloaded all the drivers I need from the toshiba website but am in need of the OS.
Is there any way for me to get the XP tablet edition 2005 which is already on it without having to pay a rediculous amount for a brand new copy?
Is it possible to transfer winows from 1 HDD to another? Also does anyone no where I can get 1 of the pens from?
I have looked about on the internet and can't seem to find any!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Im not quite sure if you will be able to order such disk for this notebook.
In some cases this is not possible if the notebook series has been discontinued.
But check this page:

Usually you could order the recovery disks there.
But if its not possible, then you will need to install the Windows using an Microsoft disk!
The necessary drivers could be found on the Toshiba European driver page:
http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/
Note: you have to choose Archive in the driver download form in order to find the Tecra M7 series.

IAstoreA.sys bluescreen / where to get drivers? [GT70 0nd]

i just wanted to mount an .iso with WINcdemu and got an bluescreen right after the mounting (IAstoreA.sys) so i've read around and figured it out it has something to do with "RAID"?!
So i wanted to take a look on the MSI site but.. for my laptop the site isnt there anymore :O
Where to get the drivers for the RAID now?

Most manufacturer's will, from time to time, post updated drivers. But it tends to be rare. Because that also means quite a bit on their end, such as testing, verification, etc...for every laptop model, and every new driver.
In the end, it's too costly and time consuming for them to release a new, authorized, official driver everytime one gets updated.
Use the ones from NVidia's site, they should work just fine.
As far as IAstoreA.sys, that driver is actually related to Intel's chipset/RAID driver and has nothing to do with the video card.
I would consider checking Intel's website for a new chipset/RAID driver for your notebook.

Satellite A200-10W - Where to find Windows 7 64bit drivers?

I have a Satellite A200-10W notebook. In present I have vista x86 installed but I want to upgrade to windows 7 64 bit but I don't know where I find the drivers because on the website I can't find these.
Can anyone help me? How can I use sound card, network card, webcam and others if i haven't these drivers?

I have checked the Toshiba page and the Satellite A200-10W belongs to the PSAECE series and therefore I could find only Vista 64bit drivers:

Normally these drivers are also work on Windows 7 so you should try it. Maybe all of them will work and so you have Windows 7 with all drivers. :)

Satellite A100 PSAARA: Where to get the newest graphic driver

I'm trying to run a game and it requires that I have the NVIDIA ForceWare 163.44 Driver.
My notebook has an NVIDIA Go 7600 and I can only find 97.54
Are there any other driver updates for my notebook model or a place where I can recent drivers that will work?

Some people also reported same problems with Go 7600. It is not on the compatibility list of ForceWare 163.44, so, I'm afraid...
The card is close to three years old, right? Most updates are for newer cards, I think they don't bother testing new driver releases with older cards. So - get a new card :) or, maybe, try to install 163.44 (anywhere from the Net) for your system (32/64, XP/Vista) and see what happens. People did that, but a lot of them encountered just more problems and had to roll back... :(.

Satellite M50D-A-10W - "reboot and select proper boot device" error

I have a Toshiba Satellite M50D-A-10W that went all "reboot and select proper boot device" nuts on me.
This occurred before and it was solved by alt-ctr-del then F12 to enter BIOS where the date had gone back to sometime in 2010 - after bringing it up to the present and changing the boot device, everything worked fine ... until the next day.
Now I get the "reboot and select proper boot device" screen, but the F12 key doesn't work; I also tried F2 ... the message keeps multiplying, no BIOS ...
Please, help!

Where can I find drivers for Satellite L855-159?

I am a recent owner of a brand new Toshiba Satellite L855-159 laptop.
I cannot seem to find any drivers listed for it. i have download some drivers from similar series laptops, like the ethernet driver. That works fine on it, but i cannot seem to find a working wireless driver anywhere.
I have tried the official toshiba page and the toshiba auto detect tool. It says it cannot find my product.
I have also tried entering the serial no. manually and it gives me the same answer.... your product cannot be found or invalid serial no.
(i have tried all versios of toshiba site, in many different languages)
Only time my serial number worked is when i registered the laptop for warranty.
So, i must say that it has been a pain to find the right drivers for my product, and it would not hurt to have a cd/dvd with drivers in the box with the laptop. i know it should be a better solution to have drivers online because you always get the newest version, but a dvd with drivers that always work for your laptop is necessary when the main site FAILS so badly at providing them.
So please tell me... where can i find drivers for my laptop?

Satellite Pro A120-10W - Function keys not working since hard drive wipe

I have a Satellite Pro A120-10W running Windows XP Pro SP3, and have just had my hard drive wiped, because of viruses. Everything seems to work fine, but I cant use the function keys to change the brightness etc. I have looked at various help forums however most seem to give answers for Windows 7 or vista. 7

As you can see in other threads, you need special drivers/tools for FN keys to get them working because there is no Windows standard driver for these keys.
Anyway, you have to download Common Modules as Akuma wrote. After installation the keys should start working again.
You can download the tools on official Toshiba website.
If you have problems with installation or it was successful, just post some feedback. ;)

Satellite M50D-A-10W does not boot after battery is fully empty

I have a Toshiba Satellite Notebook latop Satellite M50d-A-10W AMD A, 15.6.
I have problem when the battery is fully discharged I need use the needle to peform hard reset using switch behind the laptop.... then I can get into boot mode with f2
How can I solve the problem?

I guess you are talking about the force shutdown procedure as described in this document:

Such issue may appear in case the PC is freezing, not booting or has a power failure.
I think the notebook goes off in case the battery would be fully empty. In such case the system does not shut down properly.
As default state, the system does not shut down the notebook but usually the unit performs an hybrid shutdown. This procedure allows the notebook to boot much faster but this might affect system boot in case something would go wrong while shut down procedure.
You can disable this hybrid mode and in my opinion this is also recommended.

Hi you can create messages from two places either from the standard help menu.
help->create support message
or
test workbench status message->click messages tab and then click create button.
Now go to tcode Solution_manager
select your landscape and then press execute button you will get the list of all messages with status ,person create d and person responsible.
if you click any one you can go into the details of the same.
