RE: Scheduling agreements VS PIR: Scheduling agreements

G'day Team,
Client is embarking on collaboration for Comp products.  Client uses SCM 7.0.
The root identifier for validity period is in the ECC6 Source list (SL); and the SL identifies relevant Sched Agmt.  Question is what is recommended best practice:
1/ Have a PO Scheduling agreement Integration Model (IM) and bring ALL Sched Agments over to APO?
2/ Just bring the Source list (SL) relevant through the PIR trfr to External Procurement Relationship (EPR); as the SL are attached to the relevant PIR?
3/ Combination of BOTH; Scheduling agreement & PIR IM's
<< A - everyone's project is important.
B - Please do not offer points
C - do not include personal information >>
Many thanks,

Hello Andy,
I understand your requirement, & option # 2 is very much pertinent & viable.
You just have to send the info-record to APO & maintain the source list in ECC. There is absolute no need to send the Scheduling agreements separately.
I have tested this scenario today itself
Just bring the Source list (SL) relevant through the PIR trfr to External Procurement Relationship (EPR); as the SL are attached to the relevant PIR?
Please let me know if you need any further assistance, grant point if helpful.

  • Scheduling agreement Fcst del schedules and JIT question

We have a requirement of not sending forecast delivery schedules TOR to MRP from SA.
Instead, we take this forecast delivery schedules and massage the data (add or delete) and then send it to MRP as regular forecast (PIR).
so when the JIT schedules come, does the forecast get consumed with the JIT's in MD04?
lets say, I got 100 pc for 2nd week of July 2011 as forecast delivery schedule from customer and I loaded them into MRP as PIR
and I got JIT for only 90 PC for the 2nd week of july 2011.in MD04 will the 90 get consumed from the PIR??

    925,
so in system it will show on 3/21 monday
I guess this means that you are entering using a Day format rather than Week format.
You have answered you own question already.  If the online SAP help, which you have read and reasonably paraphrased, is not clear enough to make you understand this, I cannot help you.
JIT horizon is 3/23, Forecast is for 3/21.
As I stated before, even though it may in your mind represent a week's demand, it is still for one day.  There is no bucketing, nor time-based disaggregation, nor consumption.  It is just a scheduling agreement.
    You wrote
am using MRP indicator D. that means within jit horizon, consider my jit quanity for requirements. and after jit horizon consider my forecast delivery schedules as requirements.
.  This is a reasonable paraphrase of the SAP online help.  Do you believe this?
Forecast schedule is for 3/21.  NOT for W 12/2011.  This is before the JIT horizon, isn't it?  What do you think will happen to the forecast schedule, looking at the last 'rules' you just wrote? and as stated in the SAP help that you read?
Now you want to enter JIT schedules. 21/22/23/24/25/26.  JIT horizon is 23.  24/25/26 are after JIT horizon.  What do you think will happen, based on the 'rules' you just wrote?
I feel my time is being wasted when you keep asking me these questions, already having the answers explicitly stated in SAP oinline help.  Since you do not have access to a system, this cannot be a support issue, it is a evidently a matter of idle curiosity for you.  I therefore believe I will will move onto other forum questions, where there is a possibility that the questioners will get some business benefit from my answers.

  • Scheduling agreement update with Info record

    Hi,
My company is working with scheduling agreement both with external vendors and Inter company purchasing. SA is created for a long term (in years) but the price negotiation takes place for a shot duration (One year or less). The requirement is that whenever the Purchase Info record is updated (by department X), it should automatically update the relevant SA (created/updated by department Y). Any delivery schedule created after new effective PIR price, should have the new price and if there is no price in PIR for that date it should throw an error...
    Thanks is advance
    Manu

    Hi..
Can anyone tell me the user exit that I can use to update price in related scheduling agreements when any purchase info record is changed...
and another to check purchase info record at the time of delivery schedule creation to see if any valid purchase info record exists ..

  • Tiered Costing in Scheduling Agreement

    Hi all,
I'm working with scheduling agreements and we have a requirement to have have the price picked up by tiers and I know that this will be accomplished by SCALES, However when I'm trying to configure the scale types I'm facing some difficulties.
Here's the exmple how we would like the pricing to work for different tiers,
Pricing Condition PB00 will be created with the following SCALES
    To  Quantity 1      HR - 10$
         Quantity 500   HR - 9$
         Quantity 1000 HR - 8$
    If the delivery schedule line is created for 1100 Hours then the price calculation should be : 500 x10$ + 500 x 9$+ 100 x 8$ = 10300$
Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think we can accomplish this by "Graduated To" scales. I've tried changing the standard condition type PB00 with the scale type D, but the problem is whenever I create a scheduling agreement it's getting created with condition type PB00 with scale type "A" ( From scale)
If I delete this condition and create a new one I get SCALE D.
I was hoping if any one of you could give any heads up on this or suggest something that could help me in accomplishing the task cited above.
    Appreciate your help in advance,
    Cheers,
    Dhaval

    Hi Ramesh,
Thanks for the heads up. I looked at the config for the schema dtermination and I see that the pricing procedure RM0002 has not been assinged to any vendor POrg schema in this configuration.
I then looked at the config for the condition type PB00 --> pricing procedure RM0002 has been assigned to the condition type PB00 and since we don't have any entries maintained for RM0002 in the schema determination config I was just wondering if this is what is influencing the automatic proposal of the condition type PB00 in my scheduling agreement.
Also can you please tell me what is a difference between a Purchasing Document (BIG) and Purchasing Document (Small) in the schema determination config.
All I wanted to accomlish here is my teired pricing to work when I assign scales on the condition type in the scheduling agreement ( not in the PIR)
What currently happening in my case is ....
Example: Scale From 1 pc - 100.00 USD
    from 50 pc - 90.00 USD
    from 100 pc - 80.00 USD
    Target quant. 100 pc
    schedule lines 30 pc
    20 pc
The problem is  that the goods receipt of 30 pc is valuated at the price 80.00 USD It always takes a lowest price on the scale.
I've tried looking for OSS notes and also looked enough on the forums but I could not get any resolution to this question.
I would appreciate if I could get any heads up from your side.

  • Pricing Condition in scheduling agreement

    Hi Gurus,
I'm working with scheduling agreements and I figured that whenever I create scheduling agreements, pricing condition PB00 gets defaulted to the scheduling agreement,
Can you guys be kind enough to tell me what configuration is driving this?? How can we make changes to the config settings so that I can have a condition type of my choice assinged to the scheduling agreenment??
More over I have a requirement to have a tiered pricing in scheduling agreement. I do know that this is driven by SCALES in SAP however as per my requirements I need to have SCALES per formulas. In the condition type configuration we do have a field for SCALES where we can assign the formulas but whenever I click on this field a screen pops up with some ROUTINES.
Can someone tell me how can I define the ROUTINES and the ABAP formula for this ROUTINE so that I can have my tiered pricing conditions accomplished??
Any feedback on this will be highly appreciated!!
    Thanks folks,

  • Sales scheduling agreement

    Hi,
I had few queries regarding Sales scheduling agreement.
I have gone though few forum discussions and also SAP help documentation however was not able to have clear understanding and have below queries.
    1. I understand that purpose of sales scheduling agreement is to  provide information on customer requirement with exact quantity and dates.
What is the difference between Sales scheduling agreement and PIR, Contract or scheduling agreement?
    2. If I CIF a sales scheduling agreement will it create a Transportation lane between customer and the plant?
    3. When a sales scheduling agreement is CIFed to APO will it create requirement in the form of sales order as per schedule lines?
    4. Can I use Sales scheduling agreement in CTM planning, what are the limitations?
Experts please help me on the above queries.
    Thanks,
    Sanjog Mishrikotkar

You can use standard functionality Billing Plan in SD.
If it is Fixed Billing scheduling then go for Periodic Billing Plan.
Else for Flexible Billing scheduling or milestone, then go for Milestone Billing plan.

  • Scheduling agreement release in APO

    Hey Gurus,
We are planning and releasing scheduling agreements in APO through the product view.  The problem that we are having is that we can't see these released schedule lines in MD04 after the schedule lines are released in APO.  Is there somethign with the CIF that needs to be set up for this?  We already have integration models set up for PIR's and SchAgreements already.
Also, we checked the /SAPAPO/CCR reconciliation report and didn't see anythign stuck in there   Do you guys have any suggestions for us?
    Sincerely,

  • Is it possible to create Automatic Scheduled Agreement like Automatic PO

Could you please explain, is it possible to create an automatic schedule agreement from the PR, PIR (ie.e viz.. as Creation of Automatic Purchase Order)

    Hi
Why you want to generate the Scheduling agreement automatically?  What is the requirment? Volume is high?
As Sridhar mentioned you have no option in standard SAP to create automatic scheduling agreement. But you can create delivery schdule via MRP.
If you have more volume then go for developing the program with ABAP guys.
if the requirment is for Cut over only then go for LSMW or BDC options.
    Hoe it helps

  • How to measure performance of supplier when using scheduling agreement ?

    Hello all,
My client has an absolute need to be able to measure the performance of its suppliers based on delivery dates and delivered quantities. That is to say he needs to be able to compare what dates and quantities were asked to what has been really delivered.
Most of the procurement processes used are based on scheduling agreements : schedule lines are generated by MRP and forecast is sent to supplier while firm requirements are sent through JIT calls.
It seems that when doing GR in MIGO, it is done against the outline agreement number, and not against the call. Therefore, we have no way to compare dates and quantity with what was expected (in the JIT call).
Do you know if SAP proposes a standard solution to this, and what could be a solution to this issue ?
    Thanks for your help
    E. Vallez

    Hi,
My client faced the same problem and we ended up developing an own analysis in LIS. Since the GR is not linked to specific schedule line (SAP does some kind of apportioning, but it doesn't have to correlate to the correct match), one needs to do assumptions. Our assumption was the closest schedule line, i.e. each GR is related to the schedule line with the closest date. Then all GR the same day are totaled together before the quantity reliability is calculated, since the very same shipment can be reported through several GR transactions in SAP (one per pallet).
If anybody has info about what SAP has to offer in this question (or is developing), please tell us!

    Dear Subrat,
you cannot create a yearly schedule line in the scheduling agreement. It is not possible due to format restrictions of the date field. But what you can do is the follows (it is the modification, but it should work with the help of user-exits):
    1. You can split the year schedule line to the monthly schedule lines. There are two ways to do it. If you apply the DELINS IDOC, then you can do it already during transfer of the data to the application (itr is the best way). Here you can use, for example, user-exit USEREXIT_ZUORDNEN_IDOCS (include LVED4FZZ) or customer function EXIT_SAPLVED4_002, called from the subroutine USEREXIT_DYNPRO (Include LVED4F0U). Alternatively, you can use the user-exit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP (Include MV45AFZZ) within the call transaction, then it will work also in the dialog case.
    2. After getting the monthly schedule lines, you can create a planning delivery schedule, where you can split mothly schedule lines automatically to daily schedule lines according to the customer factory calender. The settings for generation of planning delivery schedules can be found under:
Customizing SPRO: Sales and Distribution => Sales => Sales Documents => Scheduling Agreements with Delivery schedules => Maintain Planning Delivery Sched. Instruct./Splitting Rules
It is the only ways, how you can reach your aim. I hope, this information will help you further.

  • Order of delivery schedule line counter at schedule agreements from MRP run

Currently we are using schedule agreements for our long term external suppliers, but we are facing a problem with the order of new delivery schedule lines created during MRP run.
Because of master data settings like, lot size, rounding value, plan delivery time and planning time fence to set as firm new requirements, multiple schedule lines are created with no order for schedule line counter.
Does anyone is aware of a BADI, user exit or customizing control to have this schedule line counter in order?

  • About selecting Scheduling Agreement and Forecast delivery schedule

    Hi Experts,
i want to write a Report, with 2 parameters for the selection : Sold-to-party and Period
For this Sold-to-party/Period, I want to list all scheduling agreement + Forecast delivery schedule.
I already found the Function SD_VBEP_READ_WITH_VBELN to read all Forecast delivery schedule lines using Sales Doc.No. , but how can I select all Scheduling Agreement for the Period ?
    Regards,

    Solution:
by selecting data from table VEPVG (Delivery Due Index) and using function SD_VBEP_READ_WITH_VBELN for each SD Document.

  • *MRP unable to create Delivery Schedule Lines in MM Scheduling Agreement*

    Hi Experts,
    I need your help...
The issue is, in-spit of maintaining Source List with an u201CScheduling Agreement with item No.u201D & u201CSource List Usage in MRPu201D as 2 (Record relevant to MRP. Sched. lines generated automatically), MRP run does not generate Schedule Lines, instead PRs are created.
Please help me to understand such behavior and fix the issue as the requirement is to generate Schedule Lines only.
    Thanks,
    Pratap

    Hello
    Please check
    1) Source List maintained properly in terms of Material # ; plant # ; proper POrg ; Schd Agr # and line item# ; proper validity date & MRP relevant indicator
    2) Please also check Quata arrangement if you are using. whether % is maintained correctly against the vendor
    3) MD03 , Delivery schedules- should be 3
    4) check your planning horizon whether it is NETCH or not
    5) check material master -MRP2 view, Procurement type is F- external procurement, schedule margin key if you are using
if everything above is set, then I feel it should work
    Also please verify-
lot size, safety stock and the corresponding prod volume for MRP input v/s the stock available in MMBE
    example.
MD04, we can see the open del lines.
    if SS = 50 , prod volume is 150
    1) if MMBE shows 200 then it wont generate any schedule.
    2) if MMBE is 180 and your lotsize is 40, then after MD03, you will have a schedule line of 40 (provided if everything is set properly)
Please ensure there are NO open delivery lines . if you find such in MD04, then please close open delivery lines
in calculation of MRP, system considers such open delivery lines are going to receive and no additional schedule line generated even after MRP run
    thanks
