Re scheduling out with exception message 15 in MD04

Hi All,
In stock/requirement list the Purchase order is split into several Quanities on the same day with exception message 15 instead of displaying single PO. Also, attached the screen shot for your reference.
Please let us know what could be reason for this.

I tried both the customization and run MRP but still Multiple PO item is appearing in the stock/requirement list and problem is not resolved yet.

MS SQL server is going down frequently(10 days of gap) with exception message: "A severe error occurred
on the current command. The results, if any, should be discarded". We are facing this issue for past two month.But funny thing is server will be up automatically with out any service restart manually. Also if we try to restart the SQL
server service manually then SQL server will be in a dead lock situation and it will not come up even if we wait for long time. Then we should do a windows server machine restart to
make the SQL sever up. As a suggestion from Microsoft to fix this kind of similar issue,
we have installed service pack 3 for SQL Server. But even after we are facing same issue.
Server Details:
Server OS: Windows Server 2008 R2
Two type of database servers are installed on server:
1. MS SQL Server 2008 R2
2. My SQL
Also Reporting server is configured for the purpose of generating SSRS report from a dot net website.
NOTE:Immediately after the data retrieval/save, we are closing the connection explicitly by the
application.

I have tried but still not clear about your issue, I would like you provide more details information about your issue based on below points to better analysis about the issue:
What action did you do and caused the error "A severe error occurred on the current command. The results, if any, should be discarded", did you run report on the web application or something else then the error happen?
If you rendering the report and got the error, please try to provide us more error information in the log files which path like:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles
If it is not the case in step1, Please try to provide SQL Server Error log(SQL Server Logs) and more details information.

Report to get the Material with Exception message"10" Rescheduling in

Hello All
We want to get the report to get the materials with exception message"10".We can get deatils from T code MD06,but it is restricted to MRP Controller/Vendor and we can get the details from Table "MDKP".Plese provide any report or T code to get the details of the exception message "10"

You can use BAPI_MATERIAL_STOCK_REQ_LIST todata from MD04 or BAPI_MATERIAL_MRP_LIST to get data from MD05.

Hi,
If your order start date of the planned order lies in past and the order start date in past indicator is not allowed in OPPQ the system automatically switches to forward scheduling taking todays date starting date of the planned order. In this case the system issues a exception message 30 Plan process according to schedule.
System Current Date : 14.07.2007
Reqmts date : 01.07.2007
Planned order start date : 14.07.2007 with exception message 30 .
If order start date in the past indicator is not allowed during MRP Run the system creates planned order on 14.07.2007 with exception message 30 plan process according to schedule since your reqmt date is 01.07.2007.
If the order start date in the past indicator is allowed in OPPQ during MRP run
the system creates planned orders on 01.07.2007since the reqmts date is 01.07.2007.

MD04 and PO return delivery quantity with exception message 15

Hi, Please suggest me how to get rid of PO return delivery quantity from MD04 where it is showing as POitem with receipt quantity and exception message 15 - reschedule out and reschedule date is showing current date.
Here we have received x qty from vendor and then moved y qty to blocked stock and then did return delivery (here return delivery did without any reference), we will not receive y qty anymore in future, how to get rid of this qty from MD04.

Issue in MD04 transaction with exception message 26

Dear All,
I am facing 2 issues:
1) Even if the sales order line is confirmed and fulfilled, we are getting the stock for that material against the same sales order in the MMBE Transaction.
2) For the above material present in those sales Order which are confirmed and fulfilled, We are getting the entries for that material in Transaction MD04 ( Stock requirement list of the material after we run the MRP for a particular materia) with the exception message 26.
From our end, we have used the report sdrqcr21 which delete the wrong entries from "VBBE" so that MD04 will show incorrect entries but this approach is not helping us in the above situation.

This is one issue. There is nothing wrong with the software, this is standard behavior. You have built or procured more stock than was required by the sales order. The remaining unnecessary stock is now sitting in inventory, and is displayed in MD04 under the Sales order segment. This stock can never be used again within SAP, unless someone re-opens the sales order or performs some transaction to remove the stock from being 'Sales order on hand' stock.
Some companies will scrap this material, using their standard scrapping policies. Others will transfer this un-usable E stock to general stock, if it can actually be reused.

MRP - want to create query for Exception message number (MD04)

Dear all MM kings
consider i had one purchase against xxxx material , if i go to MD04 In Exception message number column i got massage number 20 Cancel process, now i want to know how many purchase order exist in system having the Exception message number 20
i want to define query for Exception message number 20
is there any way to do the same

There are links on the first thread on this MM board that describe how to produce a query.
But if you have not done this before and have no ABAP experience, you might find it a bit tricky.
You need someone to find the tabkle that stores the MRP lists and see if this contains the exception message, first.
the structure I gave you is probably built dynamically by the program and so may not be available for a query.
One simpler option is to use the "Collective access" tab in MD04. here you can enter an MRP controller etc. and get a list of materials. You can then find out which of the 8 numbered columns contains the exception message 20 and then sort the list in this sequence (the exception messages are linked to one of the columns and this can be different in every implementation and so I can't tell you which one it is)
This will not just get the "20" messages unless they have been configured to use a separate column, but at least it is avail;able now without config and may be enough for your purposes.

Dates and Exception message in MD04

Hi all ,
              When i view in MD04 t-code for one purchase order the system shown the below exception message
Exception 30 = Plan process according to schedule (08/01/10/07/25/10)
           06 = Start date in the past
I cant understand the dates inside the braket . We are following the factory calender all days working days (No holidays)
When i calculate the no of days between 07/12/2010 and 08/11/2010 it is more than 28 days (the date format is ( MMDDYYYY)
Can anybody explains why it is happened?

Exception message in MD04 & MD05

Hi experts,
There is an problem related to exception message,
It has been observed that immedeate after MRP run, no other transactions done, I am getting exception message in MD05 for one of the component as "30 - Plan process according to schedule", and the same i am not getting in MD04. What could be the reason for same.
Note: No transaction done after MRP

Material/Location specific exception messages of MD04

Hi,
Any pointers to get a report of all exception message in for specific material,plant combinations so that those can be targeted for correction .
i.e. In MD04 for a material at location we can see the exception messages ,do we have any table or report to get a consolidated messages so that one need not to load each and every product in MD04 .
I am not looking for a MD06 or table of standard list of MRP messages.

Your question is not clear; MD04 is a dynamic report, meaning that it's content cannot be read from a database table (at least not all of it).
The static alternative (in my opinion even better for exeption massages) is the MD05 MRP list. It exists in the database, and so can be read and processed in the way that you want.
By the way, both have also BAPIs to be used.
So, what is that you are in need of?

MRP Exception Message in MD04

Hi team,
My entire MRP planning is being carried out in APO system. My R/3 system just receives the planned orders from APO & i will convert the planned order to production order (MASS). Hence i did NOT maintain any configuration in OMDW for my plant. Is this OK or should i maintain OMDW for my plant in R/3 even though my planning is happening in APO?

If the entire planning is made on APO and if you don't controll the rescheduling messages in MD04 or MD05, then it's not necessary to maintain OMDW.

Exception Message in MD04.

I got the following Exception message for a planned order in MD04,
20: Cancel process
After getting help for this, system is giving the dignosis that,
"There is no requirements for this receipt. It should be reversed to avoid unnecessary warehouse stock."
What this means?

Hi Deven,
Please check the dates in the planned order. This could be before that of the date of requirement.
i.e. If there is no requirement before the date of the planned order then system will propose to cancel the proces...since as per system there is no requirement & hence no need for a planned order.
To check pass a requirement /PIR before that date & then this error will not be displayed.

GR processing time not taken into account for exception message in MD04

Hello Gurus!
In MD04 when we toggle between displaying at GR date and AV date sometimes there is a shortage in AV date view but none in GR date view due to GR processing time.
How can we include the GR processing time to be taken into account so that an exception message is shown for the shortage during AV view?

What you meant by shortage,,,
AV- Available date,
GR- Availble date+GR processing time
if you have not set up the GR processing time in Master, it may come as ZERO days,, so AV and GR date may be same,,
