yep im getting the same signs in for about 20 seconds then signs me straight out, with same error msg! why is it doing this?

Skype keeps signing me out and back in

This problem has been happening to me for about two weeks.Everytime i log into skype the blue circle keeps on spinning. and about every 10 second i go online and then offline. I've already tried deleting the program and redownloading skype and the same problem happens. i keep signing out and signing in. This problem started happening when i downloaded skype on my Phone (android smartphone). I only used skype on my phone once and after that I deleted it ever since then it hasn't been working.

It's possible that this may be a connection problem; I've had problems like this before, and they stopped after I changed internet connections. Try using this site to test your internet speed. Skype needs about 30kps for regular calls, so I'd assume if it's even slower than that, it may be your connection. You can try using a friend's wifi or some sort of public wifi to test this theory.

Skype automatically signing out on iPad when not i...

Please help me! When I am not using my iPad for a while my Skype appears to shut down (sign out?) automatically. Other users still see me as online, but nothing happens when they call me, but when I go onto Skype I see that I missed a call, even though it didn't ring. Also, when I open the Skype app, it comes up with the "signing in" screen- I don't want it to sign out, just run in the background, and then let me know when someone is ringing! I have recently updated to IOS8 and this seems to be when the problem started. Help please!

EBay keeps signing out from MBP

Hi all
I don't know whether this is everybody's problem or just mine but my eBay account keeps signing out by itself. It does this constantly, i signed in to my ebay account and after browsing some stuffs just it signed out automatically. I didn't press sign out button, all the item. Can you guys please help me? that's not your macbook's fault ...it's safari. use firefox instead and you should be fine. i had the same issue plus i couldn't upload pictures. with firefox everything worked out.

Skype keeps logging out automaticly.

Someone kind of threatened to hack my computer and since that day my skype keeps logging out automaticly.Sometimes it stays on for about 15 minuts but then its logs out again.Sometimes it is totaly unuseable it will log out the instance you logged in and i am getting sick of it..They also tried to steal my gmail and succesfully used my hotmail to send spam to my friends and i cant acces that hotmail account either which is x[Removed for privacy][email protected] I even reinstalled windows 7 but nothing seems to do the trick. I would like to leave my Skype account logged in so people can reach me, however the app keeps signing me out after I switch to another application. I never used to have this problem, but it is interfering with my keeping in touch with out-of-country friends.
I have up-to-date iOS and Skype app. All I want is a solution to my account being automatically logged out when it used to allow me to stay logged in (even in the background) until *I chose to log out*...

Please notice there is two different issues here. The constantly logging out issues is already in many other treads, please keep them alive there. What this guy asking is the same problem I have, and it is not a new issue: When using the newest Skype on IPad 2, it is only logged in when you are in the app. Shortly after you start using another app Skype is logging out. Result; you can only use Skype for IPad if that is the only thing you are using your IPad for. In other words you cannot get calls or live chat except you know it will be coming. This practically makes Skype useless. Any idea of a soultion or whatever microsoft know it is an issue? (The soultion is to divert all calls to your phone and tranfer chat as text message, but it is not free)

Skype keeps signing me in when I've logged out

Hi, I'm currently using Skype version 5.6.0.12393 for Android. However, with its last update whenever I am done using my Skyp on Android and sign out, at some point it automatically signs me in again. Please advise how can I avoid this glitch, as when I sign out of Skype I really dont want to be contacted until I sign back in again. Thanks.

Most probably in the Settings. Automatic Sign-in or something along those lines.

Alright, I'm going to be as detailed as possible. I tried searching for a thread of a similar problem and couldn't find any but I do apologize if there is one and I just didn't look hard enough.
I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling. I've tried uninstalling, completely removing all skype data and such, then reinstalling. I've tried that and restarting my computer and nothing works. It's also interesting to note that everytime I redownload and run it's automatically in Japanese. I always have to go in and put language to English, and even then, when I first run skype after set up, it reverts back to Japanese until I sign in again... Which lasts for about 2 seconds before I am automatically signed out. I've already made sure that my region and language on my pc is set to English, US. Also, I've reset IE and that hasn't worked either. If anyone has any idea how to fix this, your help would be greatly appreciated! I'm running Windows 7.

Try to reset all Skype settings.
Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata% and then press Enter or click the OK button. The Windows File Explorer will pop up. There locate a folder named “Skype”. Rename this folder to something different, e.g. Skype_old.
If you are on the latest Skype 6.5/6.6/6.7/6.9/6.10/6.11 version, then do also this:
Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %temp%\skype and then press Enter or click the OK button. Delete the DbTemp folder.
Restart Skype.
N.B. If needed, you will still be able to re-establish your call and chat history. All data is still saved in the Skype_old folder.

Skype keeps signing me out on all platforms...

When I sign in with Skype, I get signed in for just a few second. (Mostly) I see the list names of my Skype Contacts (so it's really my account) and then Skype signs my out automatically and I get a Skype screen telling me that I'm signed out.
I tried to sign in on my laptop with Windows 7, my desktop PC with Windows 8, on a PC with Linux and on my tablet with Android 4.4 KitKat. They all have the latest version of Skype installed.
It doesn't make any difference if I try to sign in with my Skype Name and password or with my Facebook-account.
However I can sign into my account with a web-browser on the Skype website with my Skype Name and password.
Can there be something wrong with my Skype Account?

This problem is solved by doing this (earier post from Akyll):
Please unlink your Microsoft account to your Skype account.
To unlink your Skype and Microsoft or Facebook accounts:
Sign in to your account.
In the Account details section, click Account settings.
In the Linked accounts section, click Unlink next to your Microsoft or Facebook account ID.
An information window opens.
If you had a previous Skype account, read the information and, if you agree, select Continue to unlink your Skype and Microsoft or Facebook accounts.

hi! i need help this past two days suddenly my skype went to log.out and im trying to sign in, it says that my skype account is already sign in on this computer, in order to sign in i have to sign out my skype first.. how???? i try to uninstall and install again..still same..

ICloud keeps signing out

Switched over from Mobileme to Icloud. Icloud keeps signing me out. There seems to be no set amount of time. Sometimes it will stay signed in for days, other times it will sign out after just an hour or two.

hi ive been havin trouble with msn messenger for mac for a while now as i couldnt access emails that way but i have now sorted it by switching to the new live mail and it works ok so far, but for some reason messenger signs out after about 3 mins can anyone help or give me advise thanks

Try a Restart of the computer after deleting the cookies.
Then Read my post to you again<, Did you set the cookis to alwaysetc... If you can connect to other sites then i presume your network setting are correct.
Cookies are to be deleted before you get to the MSN page, if you are
already clicked on the page it will not work.
This is all I have, there is a lot of posts in Safari about MSN hotmail
and not being able to log in, search for those, & see what worked.

HP 2000 Notebook PC keeps signing out after entering password

I got this laptop a few weeks ago and it was working fine, but then weeks later, I type in the password. Then right when I was about to head to the desktop, it somehow signed out instantly. Then I type in the password again, it just says "Welcome," and fades out to the background with the battery and wifi icon in the lower left corner. Doing this again, the background is just blue, but the icons are still there. I restart the laptop, same process. Any way I can stop this?

An update has made a change in configuration that isn't sitting well or you have installed or updated something the system didnt like. Skype Instant Sign-out

Recently, I've been having an issue where as soon as I sign into Skype it automatically signs me back out again. This issue has been consistent for several days on my KDE desktop. I was able to stay signed in for around 5 minutes after I moved my ~/.Skype directory. I have tried opening Skype from a terminal and there are no error messages provided. I also created the directory ~/.Skype/Logs and tried looking at the log file from a crashed session, but all this gave me was a binary blob which I couldn't read.
I thought that this issue was isolated to my KDE desktop, but it has now spread to my laptop which runs i3. Is anyone else experiencing this?
