Re-Starting 9.2 Download?

I downloaded 9.2 (again) this morning around 8:30 from that link. But I had to go out at 1:00 and it said I still had 2 hours to go. So I aborted and turned off my Mac because I didn't want to leave it running. When I came back and booted up, that little box appeared and said I had a pending download and asked if I wanted to continue. I canceled, instead. So I'd like to know that if I'd re-started from the aborted download, would it have continued from where I stopped or would it start from the beginning again? And would it be best if I just deleted the download and started anew from the link again? Either way, I'm not doing anymore of that tonight as it's too late! Thanks for any help.

Looks like I'll have to delete that download. And it won't harm anything if I do? I clicked on the aborted download last night and at first it seemed to start from where it left off, as it only said 2 hrs. But then it jumped to 5, going back and forth to 6 and finally settling on 5 hrs plus some mins., so to me it seemed to be starting from the beginning again! Again I aborted because I didn't want to take the chance of re-doing the whole thing. Dang! Why does this have to be so hard? I just want to get to the next OS so I can also update my firmware! I called a friend with some tech knowledge and she also said it'd be OK to delete. So looks like I'll do that and go back to the link this weekend and try again.

Sorry for the almost exact duplication of a previous thread, but that was closed (Java 7 Web start fails to download Java 1.6 version
When launching an application requiring Java 1.6 with a Java 1.7 web start it fails when it tries to download 1.6 with the following message:
"Unable to download http://javadl-esd.sun.com/update/1.6.0/1.6.0_29-b11.xml for installation"
Problem only seems to occur on Windows 7 (64 bit), seems fine on Windows XP.
Bug has been raised with Oracle by poster Matt Taylor - http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=7168311
Does anybody have any ideas?

These downloads were started with the help of an add-on 'download helper'. Disabling this add-on does not help. Start Firefox. Downloads start! Download button and "show all downloads" don't show any downloads though they continue and are being saved in the specified directory. How to cancel such downloads.

They don't normally appear in the download screen ... until I attempt to download another movie. Then they just start appearing. If you click edit - a normal movie download has a circle that appears on the left hand side that allows you to select and delete ... these movies don't have that option so you need to find the movie in you list (under movies) and select the download cloud symbol again to stop it downloading ...you may need to do this a number of times before it stops for a while ... or until you try to download a movie then it starts all over again.
i have logged out of my itunes account. restarted the iPad, removed all movies, restarted the iPad, logged back into my iTunes account and restarted my iPad .... but as soon as I tried to download a single movies ... the other movies started appearing in the downloads again.

Do you get an error number? What is the exact message?
Two things to try.
- Sign out of the App Store (in the Store menu)
- Quit the App Store
- In Finder - Go>Go to folder... (or Apple-shift-G)
- Paste in the following "~/Library/Caches/ "
- It will take you to a folder. Delete com.apple.appstore
- Launch the App Store.
If that doesn't work, try an App Store reset and then try again.

and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

Automatic Starting of Photo Downloader

I installed Photoshop elements 8.0 trial on Windows 7 64 bit. when I plug in the camera the picture download does not start automatically. I need to open the organizer and start the Photo Downloader manually.
On my previous PC with XP the photo downloader had an icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and was starting automatically when the camera is plugged in.
Is there some setting that needs to be done to enable automatic the icon or automatic starting of the photo downloader.

Is there a 64 bit Photoshop application?
Is adobe going to produce one?

Starting a file download upon command

I'm new at this, so I'm hoping your brilliant minds can figure out the error that seems to be here.
I'm trying to figure out why a file is not downloading upon command from a webpage. I did not write this code, and I'm thinking that it does not actually cause the file in question to start download, but trys to open it as if it is another HTML file (the "window.open" command).
Anyone know what I can enter into the html document to correct this and start the file downloading to the user?

You are correct that the behavior started when you installed iOS 6 - but as Chetan6518 explained - you now have to configure it in the settings.
Along with the suggestion above, there is also a Photos setting in Privacy and that gives access to approved apps for photos as well.
Last of all, make sure that you haven't set a photos restriction in Settings>General>Restrictions>Privacy>Photos

Can't start any new downloaded Adobe app

I just downloaded the new creative cloud which takes place of Adobe application manager. I uninstalled Adobe Application Manager, but couldn't start my new downloaded apps. It said I need to download adobe application manager. But I looked up through the web, it seems Adobe has replaced Adobe Application Manager with Creative Cloud. I do have Creative Cloud and downloaded Indesign CC via it, but still couldn't start the new app and i was still required the Adobe Application Manager. What should I do then? I want to download Application Manager, but it has disappeared.

Mac OS X 10.7 and later
Remove AdobeAAMDetect.plugin from HD Library/Internet Plugins/.
Relaunch the browser.
Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
Sign in with your Adobe ID and password and download the Creative Cloud Desktop Application.
Widows 7 and 8 (64 bit)
Using explorer, navigate to \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe and rename OOBE to OOBE_old.
Relaunch the browser.
Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
Sign in with your Adobe ID and password and download the Creative Cloud Desktop Application.
Windows 7 and 8 (32 bit)
Using explorer, navigate to \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe and rename OOBE to OOBE_old.
Relaunch the browser.
Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Sign in with your Adobe ID and password and download the CC Desktop App.

Lion starts to re-download.

I already have the latest version of Lion installed. When I was on the App Store purchasing something else, Lion started to re-download. I stopped it, but it continues to say 'paused' even after restarting the computer and App Store. Any ideas how to correct this?

Deleting the cache associated with the App Store may help.
Qui the App Store if it's open.
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.appstore folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store. See if Lion tries to re download.

Firefox says it's still running eventhough I've closed out of a site and will not allow me to open another site. It says "Firefox is still running". I have to completely re-start my computer. It started after I downloaded the newest version.

I log onto an email account and when I'm finished I log out and wait a few minutes before typing in a URL address for a site.
Since downloading your version 6.0.1, I have had this problem. I have to completely re-start my computer.
