There is no particular technique for this. You can use single or collective method (LT01 or LT10).
Provide the source SU and destination storage type and bin and save the TO. Your transfer will be complete.
The SU number will be lost because you have moved the stock to a non SU storage type.

Hi All,
For internal stock trnasfer within warehouse, - bin to bin transfer, please let me know all the possible ways/methods to do it.
One process I am aware is to Create TO using stock list - LT10,
But can I create TO manually for bin to bin transfer ?? If yes, plz tell me input details - mainly movement type.
Is there any other method for bin to bin transfer steps in SAP?

I tried for above solution.I did not select confirm TO check box in LT10 but still when I go to LT12 transaction to confirm this TO system does allow me change the quantity as it shows all the entries in display mode (not editable).
Is there any customzing setting involved in this....? How to do that?

How to block storage bin transfer

Dear experts,
I have an issue. Fo example, a material is already been flagged for deletion. All transfer from plant level up to storage location is already blocked. But I can still do bin transfer using LT01. Can we block LT01 as well?
Please advise.

In that case if the storage bin is getting blocked then it will affect the postings of other materials , so better to go with material level
Do one cycle in your development/quality server and ensure that it is working fine as per the clients requirement, take care of other exceptional scenarios also if any.

You can use it, but I wont suggest it. The batch specifies a group of materials produced with same recipe or with same characteristics.
If you use BIN location as batch name, suppose you transfer post from one storage location to another storage location where the bin location change and the batch number remains the same. It will simply create confusion.

If you mean you cannot read the code on the back of the card take it back to the store you purchased it from. If the numbers are not visable because you scratched them out I don't know if the store will replace or refund that. If you can read some of the numbers you could just keep trying a combination of letters and numbers to replace the missing ones. This will take a while depending on how many inputs are missing. You will have to use 0 through 9 and I am guessing A through Z.

Prerequiste for negative stock:
1) Enable the 'Neg. stocks in plant' in Material Master - Plant Data / Stor 2
2) Activate the negative stocks for the plant in IMG
SPRO - Material Mgmt - Inventory Mgmt - Goods Issue - Allowed Neg Stock

Do a recording for the transaction using SHDB. Once you are done with the recording save the recording into a zprogram. You have the code.

Does it really say "bin/bash"? It should have a slash in front of bin: "/bin/bash"
Can you login to node 2 and do:
echo $PATH
ls -l /bin/bash

please check whether any physical inventory document is active without clearing, if so please clear it before using this bin.
3.How I can remove this block?
if it is manually blocked then use LS06 to remove the block.

Storage bin transfer

In a WM managed Storage loc, I did 309 from A to B which have different st bins X & Y resp.But the system did transfer to mat B in st bin X
But I want to transfer it to Y
Do I have to do st bin transfer also? How?

Hi Dinesh,
309 Mvt refers to Material to Material Transfer, right. Also, at WM level these transfers (Unrestricted to Blocked, QI to Unrestricted) are managed as Posting Changes (No physical movement of Goods, Goods will be there in the same bin).

Accounting document currency code for transfer between company code

Hi;
We have one business process here. 2 plant with 2 different company code.
Plant P1 -> Company code C1
Plant P2 -> Company code C2
Now we make material movement between P1 and P2 via MIGO_GR , movement type 301. Accounting document will be generated when MM document posting.
From SAP standard, the accounting document currency will pick up from company code currency code.
For example
C1 -> currency USD
C2 -> currency EUR
But now we would like to generate the accouting document with different currency code, for example accounting document under C1 will be EUR? is that possible except to change the company code currency. Because company code currency change will be a big impact.

ps:
Apache seems to have trouble with long path names. It is best to move the server to a shorter directory name, like:
D:\web\tomcat4\
The reason is beacuse the server is/can be started with the command line using a batch file. A batch file is used to attach a bunch of stuff to classpath and temp files etc... The number of these additions can be reather large. The command line has a limited number of characters it can take and so with long path names it dies pretty quickly...
