I am having the same problem, you get as far as selecting the subscription period, click on 'buy' and the connection to Skype is broken, HELP!!!!!

Problem buying a Hong Kong & Thailand subscription

Initially, I had an Unlimited World subscription. My Mastercard expired and I updated my card. I have been unable to subscribe for any subscription since. I want to subscribe to a Hong Kong and a Thailand subscription. Please help.

If the phone is truly officially unlocked, it will work on any GSM network with the proper activated sim. You can easily check if in fact it is unlocked by putting any carriers sim in the phone(the sim need not be activated). You should not get any error messages. However, that doesn't tell you whether it was officially unlocked, just that the phone is unlocked. You can find out if it was officially unlocked by restoring it in itunes. If it was not officially unlocked, the restore will lock the phone back to the original carrier it was locked to. Warrant & support are only provided in the country of original purchase, thus if you have a problem in the US, the phone will have to be returned to Hong Kong for any and all warranty & support issues. I have 3 subscriptions - unlimited world, UK 60 minutes,and Thailand 60 minutes. Skype seems to have started to use unlimited World first, even when I am phoning UK or Thailand, which means that sometimes if I want to call other countries in the world subscription I have no spare minutes left. It would make more sense if Skype used the UK subscription when I am calling the UK and the Thailand Subscription when I am calling Thailand - but this isn't what is happening. Any advice please? Calling U.S. from Thailand

I will be travelling to Thailand and I want to be able to call U.S. phones from Thailand while I am there. Do I need to purchase a U.S. subscription or a Thailand subscription? Thanks!

I have thailand subscription and i got the same email with 186% price increase. The quality of skype was considered poor overall and the dramatic increase will chase me away to find other alternatives.

I think it is ridiculous that no one from support has anything to say. I personally will find another option and am appauled by this as the calls were crap to thailand 98% of the time anyway. I just lived with it because the price was ok and I didn't want to shop around.
I will be uninstalling Skype on everything of mine as well as all my clients. Good work Skype "support" for not answering any of my emails or any of the concerns of the rest of your clients on here.

HT1420 I can not change my credit card details unless I disconnected from ITunes Match subscription in Thailand?

I have moved from Thailand to Turkey and I want to change my credit card details in my apple account but I can not change due to my subscription to iTunes Match in Thailand.

It happens on Mac App Store & iPhone App store as well.
So clearly the problem is on my Apple ID..
I've changed my credit card details on my Apple ID but it doesn't reflect onto my phone when I login after restarting the phone. Even if i sign out.
When it reaches the part where I would need to verify my phone after entering my password. It just keeps requesting for my password and never shows me anything.
If I click update apps it'll just disable my account. Even on my Mac App store same thing happening.

Subscription to Thailand on mobiles/landline cance...

Recently I have lost my card and within same time my skype subscription was due to payment.I could not pay for the sub, because I was still waiting for new card to be delivered from bank. Now that skype cancelled my sub due to failed payment from old card, I can't change it to the new card because I can't see it in my subscription list.
I was using unlimited calls to thailand landlines/mobile. I was using this option nearly constantly since 2009. I belive skype dont have it available since late 2010, but I was able to resub it in 2012 when I had simular situation with my card.
Is there a way I can resub unlimited calls to thailand with my new card? 400mins option is not enough and "unlimited world" is way too much.

You only need Unlimited World subscription and it includes calls to mobile numbers in Thailand.
You don't have to purchase extra Skype Credit if you won't be calling outside of your subscription.

I want to cancel subscription but

I have used Unlimited, opened the bill on December 2. And now, I want to cancel it. And I thought if I do it on fews day before next bill date, it will be fine. Today, I'm just about to do the cancellation, It turns out Skype already corrected my bill for next month this morning. (I live in Thailand) Can I cancel this order and have a refund? Please help. Subscription recurring payments are taken 3 days in advance unless you cancel on your account page.

Another subscription - doesn't work

Hi! I am new with Skype. I first bought "Thailand 120 min" package on 3 June as a try. Now I have used all of 120 minutes. Today I wanted to buy another "Thailand 120 min". However, I did a mistake, I bought a 10-euro Skype credit instead. Later, I used my Skype credit to buy another "Thailand 120 min" for me. However, I found the message "Your subscription has been suspended as you have exceeded your allocated free minutes.Your free minutes will start again on Jul 3, 2012". After reading the FAQ, I clicked on 'Get another subscription'. Later, I got the mail notified that the order was derivered. However, I found only one subscription in my account that has no minute.
Now my Skype credit is only 5.02 euro left, so the buying is successfull, but I have no minute to make a phone call. I have no idea what I did wrong.
Please give me a suggestion how I should do to get minutes to phone to Thailand.

Hi,
You should have purchased a subscription with different number of minutes. For example "Thailand 60minutes".
What happened now is you just extended your service for additional month.

How to change my subscription country

Hi, I have a subscription with a UK phone number forwarding to Thailand. The problem is I have now moved back to the UK and don't know how to send my calls to my UK mobile number. Please help, thanks!

you made no mention in your original post that you even have a subscription -- for all I knew you were using Skype Credit for the forwarding, and the same credit can be used to forward in the UK
the link I provided gives instruction on how to change the number that you are forwarding to
to forward Skype to landlines or mobiles requires either Skype Credit or a suitable subscription -- since your Thai sub is not suitable for forwarding to a UK number, you need to either cancel your existing sub and get a new one for the UK, or you need to add the UK subscription

Yesterday, i'm done 2 subscribed with Attitude Thailand, one is happened on AIS Bookstore Application that is the first place, i'm tried to make a subscription with Attitude thailand. It didn't work, nothing appeared on screen just talking about the membership and payment then i swapped to Newsstand which has Attitude Thailand on there as well. Then i made a subscription again and also talking about the membership, payment and the magazine downloaded. Both channel is operated by OOKBEE. Finally, i got it. 10 minutes later, Email from Apple Inc. sent to me and also SMS from my banking said your payment USD 59.98 but exactly, i have to pay only USD 29.99. It did a double transaction for me. So please let me know how to get a reclaim or refund from them. Thank you for your helpping in advance.

Nokia Mix Radio+ subscription doubt

Can someone please clear few of my doubt regarding using nokia mixradio.
First of this is when Nokia write statement like this
"Listen to Nokia MixRadio – unlimited FREE music mixes to play now or download for later."

What does it mean ?
As per my understanding I can play at least mixes without having a subscription plan. Is it correct ?
In no than its too bad to advertise like that, but as always customer won't be able to anything about it other than regrating buying Mobile from Nokia.
Now comes the few more doubt. If I plan to buy the MixRadio+ subscription plan than,
Will I be allowed to have only offline mixes or more at a time?
Will streaming available in HD quality also or only SD quality ?
I am fan of Mix Radio and even willing to buy subscription but only if these two restriction ( limited offline mixes and poor sd quality audio) are not there.

Specific number in Thailand has become unavailable...

Every now and then i need to call DTAC`s call center in Thailand to renew an internet subscription.
From approximately two months ago calling +6622028100 (DTAC`s call center) gives the following message translated from norwegian "you can not call this number at the moment".
I first thought that their number had changed, but then tried to call them from my norwegian mobile and my lync subscription from work and both calls came through.
I have the following two active subscriptions which should cover this number (landline in thailand):
World minutes for Office 365 & Thailand Unlimited mins 3 months.
Does anyone know why this number is unavailable?

You can "sort" by the phone number column, and then it will group all the calls from that number together, and you can count the number of calls. Just click the column heading to sort by that heading....

Please clarify details regarding the Creative Cloud subscription

I am a higher-education educator and have two questions regarding buying a Creative Cloud subscription in the Thailand Adobe store.
1) The plan for the first year is 600 THB per month. How much is it after this? The terms and conditions do not make this clear. They say
The promotional price is valid for the first 12 months. After that, we'll renew your contract automatically, at the standard annual plan price (current pricing information is available at Adobe.com)
However, there is no 'standard annual plan price' that I can see for educators.
2) I wish to pay annually, since I don't have a Thai credit card. I have an English credit card and I will be charged a foreign transaction fee every time. Is it possible to pay annually? I wish to use the Thai store because I teach in a Thai University, and it is cheaper than the British store.

I wasn't really asking for speculations about future prices, just wanted to know what the "Standard" price was for educators, which the subscription will revert to after one year.
In the end I bought CS6 Master Collection. For students/educators in the South-East Asia store the price is really good.
