Please try this:
Please right click on the Skype Icon in your system tray and change your status to "Offline" for 5 seconds and then back to "Online".
Note: In almost all cases, this will fix this issue when/if it is found and needs to be done only once.

I've had this iPad computer thing for a few months now. I used to just put in my password when I downloaded an app or such like. Now it wants me to set up 4 further questions and answers "for added security". How can I return to the old system?

Its really absurd to even ask this in light of the information that you have been given already. The "old fashioned" way is gone. It's Apple's store, Apples's rules and IMO - its a wise decision on Apple's part.

I think it is a shame for a company this large and world wide not to have live people to TALK to on the phone to help with issue instaed you have to type in to a computer . What happen to the personal touch and caring for your consumers it is SO frustrat

I don't understand why your company would not want to be customer freindly and helpful , If i wou;d have known there wwas no way of communicating with you other than typing i would not have purchased any of the ipod items we own . First, please understand that you're not communicating with Apple when you post in these forums. Everyone here, with rare and limited exceptions, is just a fellow user.
If you want help directly from Apple with a technical problem with an iPod, you can either visit an Apple Store, if there's one near you, or you can call Apple tech support. You can find a list of phone numbers for Apple support for the various countries here:

If you are referring to problems with the iTunes Store, then as is common with most if not all download stores, Apple only provides technical support via email. I presume that they find it not to be cost-effective to provide phone support for such small purchases.

How to deploy and tips and tricks for new Jdevloper users

we currently use forms, but we are planning to try new modules in jdeveloper 10. I have few questions. We developed sample emp/dept screen as per the demo.
1.Can some one explain how source/excecutable works.. In forms we move fmb file from client to unix and compile to get fmx into my forms_path where my IAS is running.
2. how to run the applications
3. Any tips and tricks of start using jdeveloper.
we can only use Jdev10, as IE7 is not approved for us.

We are trying to install ADF runtime lib, from jdeveloper it is asking server home which is on UNIX (/opt/oracle/product/10gas) and it is not taking... our connection is sucess.. Alternate option it is saying is install from zip.. Do you think we are making any mistake..

Pros and Cons for your Iphone

Please use this thread to point out what you like/dislike about your new iphone. Apple Engineers frequently browse through these forums to see what they can do to improve their line of products. Let's tell them exactly what's on our minds. I'll start with the bad.
Cons:
The iPhone is all the hype Apple has created it to be but not at all a smartphone. Here are some basic features that the Iphone doesn't have that I believe should be added to the iPhone (via software update) considering that most, if not all, smartphone/pdas include it.
No Cut and Paste
No Highlighting
No Search Window for "Contacts"
No Way to send one SMS to multiple recipients
No way to update your "Contacts" while on a phone call (I can't add a phone number while on phone call)
No Excel or Word programs. (Every professional uses these programs)
No Cursor Arrows (to navigate through a reply window for emails-magnifying glass is nice but the small text window allowed makes it very difficult to move around)
I was under the impression that the iphone was to be a replacement or a competitor to similar PDA's on the market but without the basic features listed above, it comes well short of being smart. A cool dumb jock with some fancy tricks is more like it. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not here to bash Apple by any means...I have two iPods, two Macs and now my iphone at home so I am definately a dedicated Apple customer and will continue to be so. I am simply voicing my concerns because frankly I expected much much more from Apple and Steve Jobs.
The following below features would be nice as well (but I could wait till next year:
Video Recording, flash and zoom for the camera
Full youtube access
Memory Upgrade availability (memory card) or more memory
Option to upgrade to a better battery not a built in battery
Option to be able to choose what's in your homepage
Pros:
I can't believe how Apple is doing some of the technology that I'm actually seeing especially in a handheld. I love the ease of use. I love the backlight...even with low backlighting it's trully amazing how the colors are displayed. I have music videos loaded on my iphone and I am just in awe of the clarity and quality. The design, I feel, is second to none to any phone on the market today or in the past. I also like the fact that some accessories of the iPod and iPhone are interchangeable. The customer service at the Apple Store (Roosevelt Field Long Island, NY) was absolutely flawless. The lines, if any, went so smoothly. The staff answered everyone all of my questions. The whole buying process was very organized. I was in and out of the store in no more than 10 min. I expected far far worse with the high demand and excitement about last Friday's launch.
In Conclusion:
I think the iPhone comes short to my old Pocket Pc (Cingular 8525) as far as practical functions out of the box. The iPhone is far cooler than my 8525 but if I had a choice I would have stayed with my 8525 until Apple added the basic features I stated above. If I'm coming from a standard phone the iPhone blows it away but if I'm transitioning from a smart phone, the iPhone isn't yet in the same league. It's only been a week with my iphone so I'm sure they'll be more good and bad that I still need to discover. At this point I would say pocket pc "1" and iPhone ".5". If Apple adds my above listed basic features than I would have to place the iPhone over the pocket pc all the way!!! I'm not worried though...if Apple doesn't add those features I'm sure a third party company will. I hope you guys are reading;)

ISA order.jsp; message and validation for "Your reference" field

BlackBerry Z10 -- note re operating system and hint for an improvement perhaps

I am not sure this is me or the Z10 operating system [latest update]. I really like the device, by the way, and recommend it highly. I am a new user, and a bit of a klutz, and I have noticed when I log on to our household wireless with the BlackBerry Z10 I have to give the Cisco Router a password which we have for a guest on our household wireless network. I do that, and then I press "log in"....
Somewhere in this sequence I get the message on the BlackBerry Z10 "Do you want to log in to the hotspot?" or some such thing and I affirm I do, then the Cisco message comes up from our system... I think that's the sequence, and I fill in the password and press log in. Then if I am watching it properly, it takes a little moment or two, I get briefly the message "you are logged into the internet" or something like that, I forget the exact words. I got confused for the longest while whether I was logged in or not, because the BlackBerry browser indicates the Cisco page to log in with the password when I am already logged in, and the annoying thing is that I am not sure I really am in or not and I forget to go to the browser and fill in the web URL I want, like yahoo.ca... I wish the programmers at BlackBerry would put a line on there like "you are logged in, enter your website name on the browser search line" or something -- the trouble stems from the fact I have removed my browsing history and the only site up is the Cisco log-in page when I am already logged in -- could this be fixed with a style reno on the browser, to indicate I am logged in, and that I should enter the website I want to see... other uses may do this differently, I don't know, it's probably just me... I don't have time to fiddle with the device a lot, I mainly use it for a cellphone, so am not "at it" all the time.
PS: the use of the term "hotspot" is confusing too, because somewhere I read that if you don't want to connect to one of those little wireless radiating gadgets called a "hotspot" you set that setting to No, and then connect to the wireless network in your area you wish to connect to... but that's called by you a "hotspot" too, and I find that confusing... maybe hotspot should be as a term confined to the other gadget, and "wireless network" used for wireless network... or am I wrong...

After dropping this table from APPS schema 'Re-create grants and synonyms for APPS schema' went thru fine.Its correct
This table does not exist in INV schema in 11.5.10.2.
Could be possible that the consultant could have created this table in INV and APPS schema by mistake or whatever.Yes, with the same name, there might be table in APPS SCHEMA. When you run recreate grants and synonyms, adadmin tries to create synonym for that table in APPS schema. since there is object available with the same name in apps chema, you got that error.

If you have just added an address to your account then it will be an alternate email address - a rescue email address can only be added by answering 2 of your questions. You will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use, or you could change to 2-step verification : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5570

Blocked for your security - no way to regain acces...

Hi,
I woke up today to find my Skype account blocked. This is a major bummer for me as it is my main source of communication for my job, and I've taken the palliative step of creating a temporary Skype account in order to keep communicating with my boss & co.
Meanwhile, I went to the support/recovery form, filled it in to the best of my abilities and... "This part of the website is currently down".
The issue most likely arose due to something I noticed a short while back. Someone purchased an 800min subscription to Ukraine (which seems to be pretty common according to Google). I immediately took the following steps:
- Full scan of every PC I use for Skype using the latest AV definitions. This yielded nothing
- Password change
- Deactivated subscription
The issue went away. Three days later, the banhammer went down regardless.
There is no info on how to contact Skype support anywhere, or even if there IS such a thing as Skype support. What am I supposed to do?

Anyone using a password on the list is urged to change it immediately.
Hackers can easily break into many accounts just by repeatedly trying common passwords.
It's a well known fact that many people continue to choose weak, easy-to-guess ones, placing themselves at risk from fraud and identity theft.
Ideally, a password should be at least 8 digits long and contain at least one each of the following: UPPERCASE LETTER, lowercase letter, number and symbol.
TIME ZONE - US EASTERN. LOCATION - PHILADELPHIA, PA, USA.
I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac

After installing the second disk you can run the red system update in control panel and let lenovo install the drivers this way. I am still trying to decide what apps to install as I dont need a bunch of software that doubles up on what windows 7 already does.
as for boot times I am seeing 38 seconds from the time lenovo bios splash screen is gone until i can use my computer. shut down times are approx 8 seconds. I have 42 processes running including Security Essentials and who knows how much office xp pro is loading.

Movies and songs for your apple Tv

hey everyone,
kinda new here, have my iMac and Apple Tv for ages now. (use it tons)
anyway I read a few posts and I have noticed that everyone talks about movies/songs for iTunes, you know you can put any movie any song on the apple tv? you DON"T have to only get them for iTunes!!
you can download them for anywhere, then I use a free app called "iSquint" to chance them into the apple format then I add the movie/song to my iTunes library and the sync it to my apple Tv.
I only use iTunes for movies/songs I cant find anywhere else. also you can use Amazon which is cool also

Tips and links for using Flash to create a CD

Does anyone have any tips or links to share concering the creation of a CD? Should I use AIR or a Projector file? Any tips are welcome : )

Do you need to access the filesystem to save files or integrate with the OS? Are you familiar with AIR at all? If you just want to put a flash presentation on a CD you don't need AIR, a standard Projector EXE will do fine.
There's nothing special to explain besides choose if you want it to go fullscreen or not. Look into autorun.inf for Windows machines so your disc will appear with an icon (if you choose) and/or auto-start the projector when inserted.
Otherwise it's just like building any standard flash presentation. You just burn it to a data disc.
If you have any specific questions fire away. I've made hundreds of projector-esque multimedia CDs with flash.
