Re-trigger PO release on any change in PO

hi,
I have set a release strategy for PO.
Now, the requirement is to re-trigger the release in case of any change in PO. I searched the forum and found a reply regarding setting the release indicator accordingly i.e. to 3.
But, my question here is can we set only 2 release indicators i.e. one when PO is not released and another when PO is released --> can't we have more than 2 release indicators ??
Secondly, i also tried changing the release indicator - changeable code to 3 but still on changing the PO value - release is not re-triggred.
Do i need to do any other setting or what is right process for this.

Go for changeable indicator 6 in release indicator
OR
Go for User exit EXIT_SAPLEBND_002 or check to modify function module ME_REL_STRATEGIE_EKKO for to reset existing release strategy for reduced quantity and/or values.

Dear Gurus,
We have implement item level PR release strategy,
characteristic used: 1. Document type, 2. PR item Value, 3. Material Group, 4. Change date & 5. Account Assignment Category.
BEfore the above implementation, there is a OLD PR release Strategy existing in the system at one level release.
Now the issue, the OLD release Strategy status is release completed, now the user goes and change the PURCHASING GROUP in old PR, new release gets triggered. How to Stop this, system should not trigger NEW STRATEGY,

If i use date created as a characteristic, then Old release strategy get reset and the no release strategy will be trigger henceforth, the status of the PR will be INACTIVE.
ANy charateristic we use, there will be only 2 options for old released PRs, 1) It will reset the strategy to new one or 2) the old strategy will be reset and make the PR status as INACTIVE.
Is this is standard behaviour? pleae advice

Re-Release of PO in case of any changes

Our requirment is 'if we do any changes in the released PO (may it be the text or any thing)' the released PO should go for re-release.

If you want to have control based on change in any value release st. should re trigger you will have to go for some enhancement, but for any Value change release st will re trigger if you use the changeability (which determines how a Purchase document react to change in value) as 4 set under release indicators set in the release strategy design. this will solve your problem.
Also release strategy is determined based upon the Characteristic Values maintained under classification data for release strategy.
So in this case if you want to have a design like new rel st should trigger for any changes done to PR/PO then you should ask for some enhancement, but other way control, based upon change in value can be done by solution mentioned above.

Release Strategy to be reset for any change in purchase order

Hi Experts,
At present the release strategy configured is for any change in the value of the purchase order, the release strategy is reset. Now the the client wants that for even any text change of a word, text, quantity, value, addition, deletion the release strategy should be reset.
Can any one guide to configure the release strategy for any change. Also please provide the list of standard parameters/scenario (E.g. change of price, change of quantity etc) for which the release strategy can be configured to be reset.

I too have the same problem. I tried with Changeable indicator "1". The system does not allow to make any change to the Purchase Order even after the first level of Release. But the requirement is that the system should Reset the Release Strategy for even minor Change in the PO.

Is it possible in SAP standards to reset release strategy for even minor changes in the Purchase Order irrespective of whether it is value change or any change in the text or Purchasing group change or whatever it is?
If so, where do we need to make the configurations.
I have seen in some thread about resetting the release strategy for decrease in Purchase Order value.Even that was possible through some BAPI.

Block price from any changes in the PO, when PO has released.

Hi all,
I have problem in the PO screen, when I have released the PO, then I want to block the released PO from changes in price.
in other words, after we released the PO, no one can change the net price in the PO screen.
Can we do that? any customizing should I do?

Please check the following, Hope this will solve the Problem
1. ME23N goto PO Header "Release Stratergy" Tab, Check the Release Indicator.
2. Go to SPRO --> Materials Management --> Purchasing --> Purchase Order --> Release Procedure for Purchase Orders --> Define Release Procedure for Purchase Orders --> Release Indicator
3. Select the Release ID "from Step 1" and in Changable Column select 1
as per the above setting the Purchase Order once release will not be changable

In that case again you can use MV45AFZZ program and USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP. If this exit didnt work you can try in other save or prepare to save exits in this same program. For order statuses and authorization you can use status profile and control authorization through an authorization object. For email use email sending function and users will receive an email whenever some specific condition value is changed.
This will be ABAP coding in above mentioned program using implicit enhancement. There is no standard solution for this and you have to go for customization.

There is "is contact person of " relationship maintained for the cp(congen ) and the organization (cap ) .

use the following tables parameters of this function module to determine whether the values are changed:
I_XVTTK - Shipment Headers (Current)
I_YVTTK - Shipment Headers (Old)
I_XVTTS - Shipment Stages (Current)
I_YVTTS - Shipment Stages (Old)
if any change is made to any of the fields, you can trigger the standard output type by using the function module WFMC_MESSAGE_SINGLE. you will have to pass a structure of type NAST with the required vlaues.

0. Load initial stock: datasource 2lis_03_bx using InfoPackage and then Run DTP with the following options.
In DTP: Extraction Tab--->Extraction Mode = Initial Non-Cumulative for Non-Cumulative..select this and then Execute.
1. Cube>Manage>Collaps-->Don't select "No Marker Updating indicator" and then compress.
2. Load 2LIS_03_BF and 2LIS_03_UM Initial runs using InfoPackages and then Cube>Manage>Collaps-->Select "No Marker Updating indicator" and then compress.
Now check the data with MB5B In ECC and recon data with Report on 0IC_C03 Cube.

Disallow any change in material through CJ20N IF PR is release and PO Exist

Requirement is as follows.
1. No change in PR material through CJ20N if related PR status is released.
2. No change in PR material through CJ20N if related PO is exist for the same.
3. Not allow to add new material through CJ20N if PR status is released.
4. Not allow to add new material through CJ20N if PO is existing against any of the line item even if PR
is unreleased.
5. Not allow to delete the material through CJ20N if PR status is released
6. Not allow to delete the material through CJ20N if PR is unreleased and against all line items deletion
indicator is not present in PO
to resolve this i tried enhancement is COZF0002 - Change purchase req. for externally procured component but behavior of this exit is not consistant.
anyone have full proof solution for this ?

we tried enhancement COZF0002, but in this i am facing 1 problem
When adding new network system seting NTUP status to WBS. And when WBS is having NTUP status system is not allowing to make any change.
eg. IN WBS 1 alredy 5 PR created having PR release status. And WBS having NTUP status.
when adding new network in this WBS, system is checking with old PR, while saving against them if REL status is there exiting the transction w/o saving. As per the condition set for checking PR release status.
for that we tried to schedule WBS internaly through the same exit, but when ading new network while saving it is scheduling as per the written code but exiting the transtion checking with opd PR.
But NTUP is getting removed without saving the data. After that i have to add again the same data and at this time it is saving as WBS status is not NTUP.
how to overcome this problem please suggest.

Release PO after any change in PO

Dear Experts,
I have change the standard PO workflow WS20000075 to 3 levels and only using the RELEASESTEPCREATED. when user reject the PO in any level, "OTHER THAN 1st LEVEL" it reset the release strategy using BAPI_PO_RESET_RELEASE; after that PO becomes ready for approval again, as required.
My problem is that, when the 1st approver rejects the PO, it should be ready again for approvals after user do any change in the PO. Can I achieve this using RELEASESTEPCREATED event only.

Yes I am getting duplicate events as well. I am using standard workflow WS20000075. But you can see in SWEC entries that my workflow has single entries for both releasestepcreated and changed. And It may be also seen in SWE2 entries my workflow WS20000075 has one entry each for changed and
releasestepcreated. Is there need to remove any entry from these (highlighted) or not. SWEL also have multiple entries for releasestepcreated and changed event as well for workflow WS20000075 Please suggest me in this regards.

PR Release reset on any change

Do you know how is the way to configure the release procedure in order to reset the release procedure in Purchase requisitions document on any change that is done?

or by "cheating" and adding the relevant fields to the classification of the release strategy, so if something changes the system will recheck the strategy.

Lock infotype 210 when employee makes any change in W4 thru ESS

We have been trying to figure out a way to lock IT 210 when a user makes a change to thier W4 in ESS to implement double verification principle...where another user has to verify the changes and approve it.
We already have something similar for IT 6, whenever user makes any change in thier address in ESS, the new record is locked for review and workflow gets kicked off. We have been unable to implement the same logic for W4 (IT210)

You mentioned you've already implemented this for IT0006. Iam not sure what problems youre facing with do the same with IT0210. We do the following in such cases.
1. While updating IT 0210, set value to field SPRPS (Lock Indicator).
2. Use transactions SWEHR1, SWEHR2 and SWEHR3 to attach event/obj type to infotype changes to trigger workflow or notification. give a search in help.sap for these transactions to get detailed documentation.
3. Once details been reviewed, HR admin should release the lock indicator in pa30.
