There is no way to lock the built-in email app. You can remove the password from the Mail, Calendars, Contacts settings, but you'd have to readd and remove that every time, probably not very practical. There are third-party apps that have a login feature within the app, so one of those might work for you. Or you can just use a web interface to your email, if your provider offers that, though many web interfaces don't work very well with mobile web browsers.
Alternatively, if your students just use a single app at any given time, you can lock the iPad to that app via Guided Access:

Possible? Using External Definitions for data type/message type definitions

Hi all,
i want to use external definitons in my own data type definitions. Is that possible? And if yes, how?
I imported many definitions via a mass import. Now I also want to use these definitions for further interfaces (than the imported ones). The most convenient would be of course to just use them as a custom created type. Can I somehow "convert" an external definition to a data type/message type?

The External defination which you has been imported that cant use in DT and MT but yeah you can use this in Service interface.
you cant modify that External defination if you want to do that then 1st of all modify it and then reimport it as an another external defination.
and creating service interface with this ED you can use it in your message mapping .

Using GREP styles for changing characters and colors

Hello everybody,
I have a question regarding GREP styles. I wish to change each letter of an alphabet in text to a square in a different color. For example: every 'a' in the text change to a yellow ■. I thought GREP styles would be perfect for it so I went to find/change, typed in my requests and InDesign told me it has found no 'a' in my text, which isn't possible. How do I fix it? And the other thing- is it possible to change the color of ■ ? Because i couldn't find the option.
Please excuse me my incompetence, I am a new user of InDesign.

First off, it sounds like you want to use find/change with GREP, which is fine, rather than a GREP style, which is part of a paragraph style definition and cannot change the text in any way other than apply a character style to the found string, so would not help here.
The not finding the text makes me think you've limited the search parameters in some way, either by limiting the scope to a selection, or by including a style or format requirement in the find options, perhaps.
In order to do this, I think you are going to need to make use of the "other" category in the change dropdown and select Formatted Contents of Clipboard (which should clue you in that you need to make one of your colored squares and copy it to the clipboard before you run Find/Change). You can do this with either a plain text query or a GREP query, and there is no advantage to GREP in this case unless you want to match several different things and apply the same clipboard content to any of them.
You'll need to run a separate find/change for each colored square. It might be possible to script a chain so it runs in a single operation, but that would also require swapping the colored sqaures on the clipboard which complicates things in this case. How do you use a field for 255 characters plus in HCM?

There is a 255 character max on the fields in the HCM process and forms.
I see some types in there:
QISR_TAB_TYPE
QISR_TAB_TYPE_TEXT
QISR_TAB_TYPE_STRING
I see the text one is for no length restriction, but when I apply it to the field in designtime interface but still everything truncated at 255.
Is there anyway to use more than 255 characters in a form field in adobe livecycle designer - SAP HCM?

Using same POV for different grids

Hi,
I have a report with 4 grids using 3 different cubes in total.
The different grids are attached to one cube only.
In the main grid i have defined the POV of the entity.
I want the other grids to use this same POV.
In these other 3 grid I have placed the entity in the pages using "Current Point of View for Entity".
I have deselected the grid POV for these grids.
However when I run the report I still get differnet entity values in the grids.

In the Workspace preferences, there is an option for Merge Equivalent Prompts (under File/Preferences).
You need to set the dimensions to "Current User Point of View" then make sure the Grid Point of View check box is not ticked, in the Grid Properties panel (You will need to select the grid for this to show).
I can't remember if you also need to log out of workspace, once you have changed the user preferences.

Using same Context for different phy. environments

i have a small question regarding contexts in ODI. Hope someone can help me.
Following situation:
We have 3 databases with same db object structure on three different servers and want to integrate them into one target structure.
Step1: Initialize target structure (truncate table etc.)
Step2: Load data from first Database
Step3: Load data from second Database
Step4: Load data from third Database
We want to use the same interface for all of them in order to keep it simple and avoiding duplicate interfaces. So i think we need something like a context/server change during execution. Is this possible to use the same interface for serveral environments and how?

Just create one context to each database and execute the same interface, but at each context...

hi guys, I am trying to use NI DAQ 9188 chasis with 9214 temperature measurement module. I wired 3 modules to the module and split signals. But I am not sure that I can these values into functions vis easily. I am trying to convert them into 1D array, but when I converted to the 1D array I can not see the values and use separetely from each other. For example, I want to multiply just the first value taken from 1st thermocouple. how could I do this. Additionally, the signals in the waveform chart 1 is not smooth. what is the reason of this? thanks in advance.

It sounds like what you want to use is the Index Array function. You should use the Convert From Dynamic Data function on the signal coming from the DAQ Assistant and then use the Index Array function to access the apropriate data on which you would like to operate. Please refer to the help documentation for more information on the Index Array function. As far as smoothening the signal, try adjusting the properties of the graph, such as Autoscale X and some others in the Properties window.

Valuation Basis for Different Payment (BWGRL) not working in 2010

We have a commission wagetype which we entered in IT 2010 in Number/Unit field.
Since we don't have premium id available, we used "Valuation Basis for Different Payment (BWGRL)" to enter the RATE.
This RATE is not working during our payroll run, however when we are using the wagetype with premium ID it is working fine.
My question is- What could be the reason that the Valuation Basis for different payment is not working ?
I checked the wagetype in V_512W_B table and it has the following configuration-
Current wage type
Valuation Basis = BLANK
Statement/WT = BLANK
%Rate = 100
1st derived wage type
Valuation Basis = BLANK
Statement/WT = BLANK
%Rate = BLANK
2nd derived wage type
Valuation Basis = BLANK
Statement/WT = BLANK
%Rate = BLANK
Would appreciate if the the fix could be provided.

I think in your case for commision wagetype you need to modify rule $930 to process the override rate from Infotype 2010 BWGRL field in case you are using the US standard schema.
The valuation basis table V_512W_D and rule $930 together will determine the valuation basis.
The default valuation basis comes from table V_512W_D.In case you want to override the valuation basis rate defined in this table,you need to maintain override rate in It2010 and accordingly have the logic defined in rule $930 for that particular wagetype .
Following is the sample rule definition for a similar scenario.

For each Idoc I need to attach the spool to a particular object_id.
As of now I am doing this by putting the Submit statement in a loop.
I want to meet the same functionality without using a loop for different Idocs.

Hi,
Each submit will create only one spool. So I dont think this is possible. Yes what you can do though is that submit the program for all the IDocs at once ( provided your program YFAPINV can handle this) and then process the spool and separate the output for each IDoc after you retrieve the data from spool.
To retrieve the data from the spool, you can use the function 'RSPO_RETURN_ABAP_SPOOLJOB' pass the spool request number and it will return you a internal table with the spool data.

Re-using Animation on Multiple Characters

Hi I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, please bear with me. So in my game, I got 20 enemies that looked different, but should have the same animations. For example the dying, running, walking animations are all structured the same. But I don't want to do this manually, giving the fact that I'm using frame by frame animations, it will consume a lot of my time. Is there a way I can re-use my main animations to other movieclips/characters? Like reusing armature/animation via bone tool... thanks

Yes, I'm currently using FbF. But I can't show you any SS right now for the 20 enemies, cause I ain't done with that part. I only got my player's (main character) animations. Here's some of it:
this is not drawn FbF, rather they are vector parts rotated/tweened each frame.
