Re-verifying student status

I bought PS6 last month and got the discounted version as i am a student. I just bought Lightroom. Do i have to re-verify with adobe that i am a student? i read somewhere on the website that i'm verified for 3 months but another part of the website says that i have to do it all again.
Someone please help.

Can't verify student status

I ordered the creative suite 6 design standard on sunday, with student pricing. It said that I had to email them verifiction that I am a student. I have tried emailing the supplied address 5 times over the last 2 days, and keep getting a message back saying that the email couldn't be delivered because the recipients inbox is full: "The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please try resending this message later, or contact the recipient directly."
I can't find an alternative email address to ask for any support. I've asked for help on the chat thing on the website, but they only directed me to the FAQs, which didn't help. I tried calling today, but was on hold for an hour and a half without speaking to a human being before I hung up after realising I was being charged for the call.
Is there any other way of verifying that I am a student or getting in contact with Adobe?

Identit-E has verified and approved my student status but won't give me a serial number

Identit -E has verified and approved my student status for the product I purchased (lightroom 4) but after two days, still has not given me a serial number so that I can use the product. They say that it is due to a technical issue, but won't tell me when this issue will be resolved. My 30 day trial expires in two days and I really need to be able to use the product that I purchased but won't be able to until Identit-E gives me a serial number. Adobe customer service wasn't any help, they wouldn't even work with me to extend the trial period while I am waiting on their own vender to fix their problem. Anyone else having this sort of problem?

Just as an added note, I have tried using the elgibility verification service a few times, have chatted on live chat with identit-e a few times and have sent emails to identit-e a few times as well. I just want to use my product and am so surprised and disappointed that Adobe can't seem to fix this issue or help me out.

You can check the list of lock objects for the ztable by this way....
Go to SE11, click the radibutton for lock object, then do F4 on the field. Click the "All Selections" icon, in the "Basis Table" field, put the table that you want the lock object for. click green check.

How and when should i provide info about student status?

I bought Creative Cloud for students (monthly subscription) almost month ago. I'm concerned a bit cause I still haven't received any email regarding confirmation about my student status. When does Adobe do it? When can I send them documents?

I just bought Adobe Creative Cloud for students and my question is how Adobe checks my student status? I didn't receive any email on my .edu account or anything. Do they check it right away during sign up process or they check it after some time? How does it work?

We collects the academic information as a separate step during the purchase process. However, We performs a spot check on these customers later on. During the spot check process, the education team pulls up the details of a percentage of these customers and validate their eligibility using standard guidelines. If the education team can't validate the customer’s eligibility, then they reach out to the customer requesting further information. If the customer doesn't provide the eligibility documents within 14 days, then their subscription is canceled.
You can keep using the CC Edu Membership.

Is it okay to verify my academic status with an education institution that is not in the country I bought the Student and Teachers Edition product in?

No. S&T licensing terms are region specific. That's why there are different rules for every country and you have to run through the proper channels. An S&T edition bought in a store on a holiday trip abroad is, for all intents and purposes, useless, because it will never pass verification when you are back home.

I am trying to setup a Power BI On Premise datasource at a client site.
I successfully installed the Data Management Gateway (DataManagementGateway_1.2.5303.1_en-us (64-bit)) software on a Windows Server 2012 box and created the Gateway on the Power BI Office 365 site.
The Gateway is running correctly with no errors. When trying to setup the Datasource I get an error. As soon as I try to set the credentials the following message appears.
Failed to verify gateway 'GatewayName' status. The remote name could not be resolved: 'servername.domainname.net’
The servername which is returned in the error message is exactly the name which the DMG was installed on.
There is a firewall in place with a proxy server and I don't know if this might cause the problems. The
following website suggests adding the proxy settings in the config files of the DMG but this did not solve the problem.
The above setup process works perfectly when running the DMG from my laptop, connecting to a Gateway and creating a DataSource connecting to SQL Server.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I resolved the issue in the mean time. I was on laptop which does not belong to the domain.
When setting up the datasource you should be on the same domain as the datasource as per the below post.

Defaulting the student status when adding a child.

Hello All,
How can we default the Student indicator in infotype 21 when we are trying to add a child under age 19 to always on.
When I enter date of birth and hit enter it should default the Student indicator field to with a check mark when the child is under age 19.
Please advice. Its urgent!

Can't verify student cs6 design suite which I brought from the apple store

I brought the student version of creative suite 6 design standard from the apple store about a month ago and I haven't had any luck getting the serial number. Inside the box I was given a set of instructions which I follow to a 'open customer service case' I then continue to give them the order number and the eligibility proof. However I got an email back that 'they were unable to identify my order number or coupon number'. So I when back instead to find the coupon number, but there was no mention of a coupon number on my box but the product number look similar to one of the examples given in the email mentioning about the coupon number which begun with 'DSGNxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx'. Thinking this was the coupon number I tried to enter it but I ran out of space in the in box so I guessed this wasn't the coupon number.
I tried using https://www.identit-e.com/default/index/submitadobe instead which asked for the product code but still this came up which problems.
So please help what am I doing wrong or why isn't it working for me?

Which country/region are you located in? If it North America then you would want to enter your product code on the page indicated. If you are unable to locate your product code on your box then you may want to work with your reseller to obtain a replacement.

Student status question

I purchased the Student and Teacher Edition of Adobe Creative Suite 6 earlier this year when I was taking classes at college. I received my serial number and have used the software for a few months. I am considering taking a semester off of college and not attending school for the Fall 2013 semester. How long am I able to delay school and still keep the student version of the CS6 software working on my computer?

Scanning my proof of student status for CS5 Design premium

I have read about the Student ID, Adobe's FAQ section states that it must have a photo, date, & name, my card has these but on different sides; the front has my name & photo, the back has the Fall 2010 with it stating the ID is valid until Jan 24th 2011. This date is when the spring 2011 semester begins, & this is the semester that I am buying the software for some photoshop classes.
So will this school ID work? & can I submit 2 scans; one scan of the front of the ID, & one scan of the back of the ID with the dates?
for size in scanning I chose original & had the boundry box around just the size of the ID card. What would be the best DPI?

I can't imagine why not, but you really should call Adobe sale to make sure you've got all the proper credentials.

Use the following host/port combinations when logging in to the Adobe Application Manager with an Adobe ID to download, install, and activate licensing for CS6 applications via a Creative Cloud membership.
