Hi Trinadh,
SCN moderators who are volunteers review content and handle it in a timely manner. In addition you have posted your blog through the weekend. Please reach out if your blog will not be approved (or rejected) later this week.
Also please make sure to create new discussions when your question is not directly related to the original post.

Hiya,
So I wrote a blog in the HDE space a few weeks, and published it today. It's this one: Tamas Szirtes, HANA Distinguished Engineer and Linguist.
Then I wrote another blog for the next HDE, but I pressed the save button so I could publish it when ready. Then I got the message "Waiting for moderator approval".
I'm guessing there's some sort of throttling thing going on if you write blogs too fast? And there's a bug where it thinks when I write a blog but press save, I'm spamming?
By the way I'm a moderator in this space

I can confirm this isn't a bug and is the result of the SCN Pre-Moderation rules in place to prevent spam. Sorry for any inconvenience and we're keeping an eye on things so that we can action accordingly as quickly as possible.

How much time does it usually takes for moderator approval for a post?
I have a post posted on Mar 9 and it is still pending for moderator approval.

It's impossible for anyone here to say. It could be very quick, or a given book may never appear. As RG said, it's completely up to the publisher in the applicable country.

In an approval workflow, how do I wait for either Approval or Reject to proceed?

I have a field that will get set to Approved or reject in the form. In the workflow I inserted the action "Wait for a field to change in current item". The program is it reads:
WAiT FOR "SOMEFIELD" TO EQUAL "VALUE"
the value could be "Approved" or "Reject". How can I set the wait till the value is changed to proceed to next action in the workflow?

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to create a workflow to wait for the filed changed and then proceed to next action.
As Matt
Milsark's Blog said,
in the SharePoint Designer 2013, the value of the action has to be equal to.
However, we cannot use parallel blocks to wait for the item to change.
When the column’s value of the List is “Approved” at the first and not changed, the workflow also will start and perform the next action.
The reason is that if we create an item which set the column value to “Approved”, the workflow will proceed to the Approved Step without any changes and then wait for the filed changed to Rejected.
As a workaround, we can use the “Stage” and the “Wait for Filed Change in Current Item” action.
You can follow the steps as below to implement it.
Create a Custom List > Create a Column with the type of “choose” > Set the Column’s value is “Approved” or “Rejected.
   Open the SharePoint Designer 2013 > Create a Workflow for this List > Add some conditions and actions
as below:
   3. Click “Save” to save the workflow.
   4. Go to the “Navigation” and click the “Workflows” > Open the new workflow > Go to “Start Options” > Check “Start workflow automatically when an item is created”.
   5. Click “Publish” to publish the workflow.
In addition, we can use the “Wait for Event in List Item” action to achieve what you want. Please create workflow as below:
Then if the “Approved” Column’s value of the current item is changed to “Approved”, the workflow will log “Approved Column changed to Approved”.
If the “Approved” Column’s value of the current item is changed to “Reject”, the workflow will log “Approved Column changed to Rejected”.

Waiting for friendbar approval

According to the web forum for the Firefox extension Friendbar, they have been waiting for a month to have an update to their extension reviewed. This update is needed so that those of us that just discovered this extension can login in to their Twitter accounts. This update was the fault of Twitter, not the folks at Friendbar (as far as I can tell). I cannot imagine what could possibly be holding up the review of this extension, unless of course you want the same reputation of the iTunes Store and App Review Board.

Created a Document : Waiting for moderation - Status display will be a good addition

Hi SCN Support Community,
i had created a document a week ago, Since this is my first attempt to give back to the community , I am very impatient about when this will be published ( as its under moderation). I understand from the FAQs of Pre-moderation section that we have volunteers to moderate content and it takes roughly 3 days. I also understand that there is no way to check the status of my document till i get the relevant notification. However i feel it will be really helpful if we have in the portal where we can atleast see the status ..doesnt matter if it says "Under- Moderation" (there might be a reason why scn has opted away from this , if there isnt any, why not .

# of approvals are waiting for a particular person's approval

Hi ,
Is there any way to find out how many approval's are waiting for a particaula person's approval. We are planning to add this our intranet to tell that, this many no of approval are waiting for his approval.

Hi VT,
You can also use transaction SWI5... enter the user id of the person and select the workitems that are yet to be completed... this will display all pending workitems.

Why you are not able to get your answer for you query.. All types of questions has been answered in this document.
Isn't your question is similar to this question Why am I being moderated?
Just difference is that, your content got affected after re-post (after modified) but the answer is same.
and you second question is similar to this question How long does it take for a moderator to review my content and release it?

Problem with addind new connection - waiting for a...

Hi, I have a little problem here. A friend of me sent me request to add him on my contacts. When the notification pop-up on my skype, that he wanted to connect with me, I clicked Accept, but couldn't connect. My friend informed me by email that his skype says waiting for my approval, and I see him offline always.
Any ideas how to fix this?

I don't know if it is related to my problem, but I turn on security log, and latter, right after internet dissapears again I saw some regular log messages and some red errors :

Probably firewall blocking is not cause of the problem, as I see such messages when everything is right with internet

Like , when we see PRs in ME55 tcode for particular user. From which table we get these entries??

EBAN you get the exact level. but thing is here you can get the rel stat as X only.
Say examply if you have 3 rel level means, in this rel stat each level release it will get update X. If two level released XX will be there.
Create one Z table there you will maintain the release code,user and level combination. two compare this z table and eban you can get the user list.
directly you cannot get the its lying with which user.

Im waiting for the macs keychain access to send approval to one of my other devices for approval after a fresh installation of mavericks 10.9.3,
my question is how long should it take because its been 3 hours so far.

" Waiting for approval " until when !????

i have a nokia N8 with the following product code 059D1M2 im always checking for the update realase , now its been a month evryday i check the updates availability i find " Waiting for approval" is nokia joking on us or what !!?

It means that it's waiting for approval from your operator and it has nothing to do with Nokia.
You could call your operator and ask about this approval, someone in technical service may know that how long it takes to approve the newest firmware. (For some reason, every operator has to approve the firmware updates and only after that their clients can do the update)

Header status say "waiting for approval".

We have contract with 10 line items. All line items are approved. ie the status say approval finished.
However in the header status say "waiting for approval".
We have approval at header level.
System details we have SRM 7.01 ie Ehp 1.

Waiting for Approval - RFx Question

Hi Experts,
We are in Esourcing 7.0. My Client has a requirement to add spend category group as approver for RFx before it go to next phase 'Open for Review'.
I modified the document security template for RFx and provided the group information.
Added them as Colloboraters - Role (Approver)
When I changed the phase to 'Waiting for approval'. I dont see any approval item in the workbench (My Workflow Activities)...
But when I click on the link(that I received in email as colloborator) , I can view a button 'Approve RFx'.
Is there something I am missing?
Will 'My Workflow Activities' only shows that are routed through XPDL (Project and Contract Document)?

Rfx approval is not supported by workflow. It is a separate process. As you stated Projects, Contract Documents, UserDefined objects and recently Vendors are supported workflow documents. The way you can tell is objects that have configurable phase definitions also have the ability to add workflow. These will show up in the workflow activities report.
