I never received an email for being in the GUP to SAVE 50% on a new strategy guide via a special welcome coupon. I want to use is coupon for The Witcher 3 Collectors Hardcover. This is my must buy can you please look into this matter. I would like to pre-order and have it shipping as close to launch as i can get. let me know if you need anymore info.  Please help me out. The only email i got told me about the offers i can get being or joining in the gamers unlocked program.

You've posted about this issue previously.  I'll reiterate what I stated on the other thread.   
Please check the email associated with your My Best Buy account and your "Junk" or "Spam" folders.  
If you're unable to locate the email, please send me a private message by clicking the blue box at the end of my signature with the "Customer Service Pin" from your Gamers Club Unlocked purchase receipt.

    How quick are we supposed to be seeing our welcome coupons from Joining the GCU? 
    I'm most interested in using the coupons as soon as possible.

    Good question! It typically takes 2-3 business days from the time of enrollment for Gamers' Club Unlocked welcome packets to arrive by e-mail. If you still haven't seen record of yours within that timeframe, then make sure to double-check your junk mail folders. Gmail users should also check their "Promotions" folder as these types of messages may sometimes not be directed to the primary inbox.

  • Have not received welcome coupons yet

    Hi all,
    I signed up for GCU for the $30 sale price on February 15th, but have yet to recieve my welcome coupons.  I know it typically takes 2-3 days to get the email, so I can give it a couple more days, but I just figured I'd get on top of it sooner rather than later.

    As you mentioned, you should receive a Welcome Packet via email within about 2 to 3 business days.  Since you purchased your Unlocked membership on 2/15/2015, your 3rd business day would have been 2/18/2015.  Please feel free to send me a private message if you still do not have a Welcome Packet, by clicking on the blue button in my signature, and I will see what I can do to help.  Just remember to first double check your email accounts spam/junk folders.

  • Welcome Coupon Link never worked. No warning of Exp. Date. Last Try Before the BBB.

    So I attempted to work through this with Aaron but he was content to dismissively respond in 30 words or less.
    The Print Coupon button in my welcome email takes me to a dead link.  As far as I am aware, it never worked.  I never used any f the coupons.  The Coupons are enticement to buy GCU.
    Aaron claims that there should have been an expiration date listed in the email.  I copied and pasted it for him to prove that there was not.
    Aaron also claims that my coupons would have expired (without any visible warning to me) but did not provide a date by which they would have expired.
    So Unlocked Mods, this is my last stop before the Better Business Bureau.  I mentioned to Aaron that I have twice taken early expiration of digital coupon by Gamestop to the BBB and have twice been successful.  Does anyone want to resolve this with me amicably?
    It's bad enough that I never get the GCU 10% bonus when I trade in, now they have taken the welcome coupons away also.  I'm wondering how many of the advertised benefits Best Buy things it can ignore before a motivated individual files a BBB complaint.

    Thank you again for being a My Best Buy member.  I am sorry for the continued disappointment you have experienced with your welcome packet coupons.
    As I have looked at your renewal date, it appears to me you would have been in one of the first groups to receive the new welcome packets back in December.  Those would have expired at the end of January.  Welcome packet coupons expire at the end of the next full month from when they are received.  
    If you received your welcome packet in February or March, please let me know via private message and I will be happy to further research this with you.

  • Cannot print GCU welcome coupon Buy2/Get1 preowned

    Hoping one of the mods can help me ...
    I tried to print my GCU welcome coupon from the welcome email for buy 2 get 1 preowned.  My coupons do not expire until 5/31/2014, I believe.  I was able to print them fine by clicking on the link previously.  But now when I try to print them, a blank page comes up saying "Sorry no coupons are avaliable."
    I was going to use the coupon to build up my Wii U collection prior to getting the MK8 Wii U bundle on 5/30.

    MarioKart 8 should be a great sequel, and even makes me want a Wii U!  Sadly I don't see one in my near future.
    Anyway, I'm happy to review your information with you.  Based on the purchase date of your Unlocked renewal, it appears your welcome packet coupons should have been valid for February and March, and would not still be valid today.  It is possible that the link was incorrectly updated at one time to reflect a newer batch of coupons, but Best Buy reserves the right to correct errors when found, and we would not be able to reissue any coupons for this reason.  I am sorry for any disappointment this may have caused you.

  • Expired welcome coupon unable to use

    hi i am an elite-plus member and i recently joined the gamers club, i never received my welcome coupons in time for me to actually use them for something. i ended up receiving them pretty late because i finally came to the forums and asked about them. i kept the message with them not knowing they had an expiration date, now i would like to use one of them and i cannot. is there anyway if someone could help me with this? i would really like to use all the features that my different mamberships with best buy has to offer.

    Welcome back to the forum! I’m glad you’ve reached out again regarding your Welcome Coupons, and I’m sorry to hear you may have had trouble utilizing them recently.
    The Welcome Coupons have expiration dates just as a majority of coupons. As I understand it, they’re typically valid for a few weeks after being issued. It’s regrettable to hear that when Mike issued these to you back in March you may not have realized you had a limited amount of time to use them. Sadly, we won’t be able to provide you with new coupons.

  • Never received my welcome coupons

    As the subject line says, I never received my welcome coupons after signing up for the gamers club unlocked. I signed up for the program when I purchased call of duty advanced warefare on release night 11/3. My account shows the that program is active and I see the discounts on games when adding them to my cart. I just never received my welcome coupons.

  • Use $5 welcome coupon on pre-orders?

    Just curious if I can use this coupon on pre-orders.  It says on any new game $29.99 and up and the exclusions don't say anything about pre-orders.Just checking here before I go out to the store to try, thanks!

To my knowledge though, the coupons state they are valid in store on in stock items. As a pre-order is not purchasing an item readily available, it is my understanding that these coupons wouldn't be able to be applied towards a pre-order.   • Gamers Club Welcome Coupon

    I recently recieved my welcome coupon for "Buy 2 get 1 free pre-owned games". I see in the fine print however that I cannot use this coupon online and it is in store only. The issue I have with this is that my Best Buy locations have a very poor stock of pre-owned games and there is no way of checking what is in stock unless I go out of my way to travel there. This is extremely inconvenient.
    Are there any ways to:
    1. Have a Best Buy location obtain a copy of a pre-owned game so that I can purchase it in store?
    2. Use this coupon online?
    or 3. Check the pre-owned game stock of a Best Buy location remotely?
    If not then I feel a bit frustrated and cheated as this coupon would essentially just be bait. Especially since this "in-store only" detail was deliberatly left out of the initial Gamers Club Unlocked description.

With that said, I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t been able to utilize one of the coupons you received for joining Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU)! Regrettably, the coupon you reference is only usable in-store, as you've acknowledged.

    I've been a member of GCU since March 2014. However, I recently (last month) added another 2 years to my membership in-store, but I haven't received my welcome coupons yet. From what I understand, I should still receive the coupons since I added 2 more years, correct?

    You should have received a Welcome Packet via email 2 to 3 business days after purchasing the additional two years.  It is possible that your Welcome Packet was sorted into one of your email accounts spam/junk folders, as that tends to happen.  Any coupons in the Welcome Packet you were sent would have expired by now.
