Having just moved to BT from another ISP I am disappointed with the upload speed I am currently getting, it would appear that I have been provisioned on ADSL Max not ADSL2+.
See connection details below:-

Upstream 448 Kbps
The BT Wholesale Broadband Checker shows that ADSL2/+ is supported.
Is this the correct forum to get help on this as my previous ISP’s have provisioned using ADSL2+ with close to 1Mbps download speed?
Also is it OK to use this thread or should I have started a new one? Apologies if I should have.

Will my line support ADSL2/+ ?

Hi all - after suffering with broadband drop-outs (and definitely ADSL - wired from router to PCs) I decided to do something about it. Short version: replaced microfilter, moved router, disconnecting ring-wire - and success! What was a patchy 3.5Mbps connection now reporting 4.906Mbps.
This is running on a HH3, which I think may have issues - after improvements everything fine for three days and then router seemed to give up: dropped connection completely, was ping-able but couldn't access its admin pages (all okay on reset).
My current stats are as below. FEC events may not look that greater (but massively better than before making changes). So:
- is my line likely to be able to support ADSL2+? (As I've had a slower connection for years will the availability checke get updated?)
- is it worth replacing the HH3?
- I understand the connection won't improve on its own but might if the router is reset - how long should I leave things before trying this to see if it improves. Attenuation suggests there's further scope for improvement - is this likely.

ps: yes, all something I should have done a while ago but was holding out for infinity after seeing local cabinets being postered with the "available here". Exchange is enabled; cabinet apparently won't be. (Do have line of sight on BT Adastral Park but wrong side of road...)

Thanks - have tried that (before and after fiddling) - the jump from 3.5Mbps to 4.9Mbps started eight days ago so improvement is recent - is this site "live"? Having been stuck with 3.5Mbps for a couple of years will this immediately spot any line improvement (e.g. from disconnecting ring-wire)?

Hi, looking at your information and using this http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/max_speed_calc.php you should hope to get around 13Mb with an optimum line particularly if the Noise margin (SN Margin) was set to 6dB.
Yours is currently set at 13db which is why your connection is low, some isp's set this hign to maintain line stability.
DSL Type:G.992.5 annex A this tells me your on a 21CN connection that's adsl2+.
You could also use the BT site http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/displayTopic.do?topicId=25633&s_intcid=con_in... and check your possible/maybe connection.

Ahhhh. Well, now you have earned a "Slap Kappy" coupon good for one slap. Expires in 30 days.
The 64-bit kernel thing will leave a lot of use behind. My main machine is a 2006 Mac Pro on which I've spent some money putting in two 4-core CPUs and an ATI 5770 GPU in the past year. If I want to run ML I can't do so. The only options I have for a desktop Mac is either a newer Mac Pro model - post 2007 - used or refurbed or a recent or new iMac. This assumes the Mac Pro line may be dropped. Apple has been very mum on that.
Clearly, Apple wants to get users of older hardware to buy new machines in order to run ML now and in the future. Because it is possible to boot the older models with the 64-bit kernel via some hacking, Apple might have been able to install ML on them by adding some code and retaining 32-bit drivers where needed, but they've chosen not to take that route. I think it's a bit of a marketing ploy to help drive up sales of new Macs, but I appreciate that Apple has chosen to abandon legacy support in the past in order to avoid having an OS like Windows - bloated by support for older and older hardware.

If the agent is on an active Line 2 call with Scenario A , does UCCX still offer the call
If the agent was on a Line 1 call with Scenario B  does UCCX still offer the call
I saw that UCCX 9 or maybe higher now has multi line support in that UCCX knows the status of the device rather then the line so I guess in the above scenarios UCCX would offer the calls regardless if the agent is busy else why  due it the new feature ?

Cisco Unified CCX provides multiple line support using the 6900/7900/8900/9900 series phones as agent devices. The Join Across Line (JAL) and Direct Transfer Across Line (DTAL) operations are supported on the 7900/8900/9900 series phones. Up to 4 lines are monitored by Cisco Unified CCX, these include 1 ACD line and 3 non-ACD lines but only the ACD line can be controlled from the agent desktop. The agent state depends only on the ACD line on the agent's device.
Do we need to configure anything - by assigning the device to the RM application will UCCX automatically monitor the other lines ?
Where does the JAL, DTAL come into play
Does the ACD always have to be line 1 ?

When will Adobe Reader support interactive PDF elements on iOS? I don't want to hear the line that Apple won't allow Flash. Adobe needs to get a workaround PRONTO! We need detection of simple buttons and support for Mp4 and f4v - as exported inline by inDesign when creating PDFs.

How would you like the feature to work? When I add a transparent frame containing a basic Adobe Media encoded mp4 or f4v video, export to interactive PDF from Adobe InDesign, I want the PDF and its interactive videos to work on iPads. See an example file here: ***EXAMPLE PROVIDED*** Click the lefthand top and bottom corners to bring up interactive video elements which should open in floating window, maximized, then have an exit button to close and continue reading the PDF. Of course, this does not function under Adobe Reader for iOS. Why is this feature important to you? I create eReaders for schools across the whole country and they are taking up iPads at an unprecedented rate. You're looking at a massive education market that will leave Adobe behind if this is not acted upon very very soon. When will Adobe Muse support ordered and unordered lists instead of forcing users to create manually formated bullet points? I've asked this question before, but never saw an answer to it. I know others have asked it as well. Adobe has set a high bar with its other solutions. It doesn't look good that Muse does not support ordered and unordered lists at this late date.

My perception of the forums and response from Adobe is based upon looking at most of the postings in the "bugs" forum. There are lots of reads, very few replies.
Given the fact that many users have asked about bullets and other basic text formating I am surprised that there is still no sign of them. Perhaps it is felt that there are workarounds that will do. The truth is, as you noted, that none of the workarounds are great, some are not even practical. For my specific case, I would have been happy to use workaround #1, except that the line items were hyperlinks, and I needed to open them in a separate window using the javascript window.open function. As I've detailed in other posts, there is a real problem with this in Muse. Hyperlinked javascript calls are invoked via the "href=" attribute, but this doesn't work properly in a number of browsers. There isn't a way to tell Muse to use onclick instead (which works for all browsers). This led me to have to use embedded html.
That leads me to try #2, which is to use CSS styling in the embedded html. This too gave me fits. Using a <style> section to set the attributes for <ul> or <li> did not work. I can only assume that the tags inside the embedded HTML have a Muse-generated id or class. I tried to get the bullets by setting the list-style-type in the <ul> tag itself using the style attribute, but this did not work (it should). It does work if you put the list-style-type in the <li> tags. This is pretty tedious, and led me to create text files containing the html separate from Muse so that I can use an editor to copy repeated strings. Then I cut and paste into the embedded html container.
Note that, even though I finally found something that works, it is not visible in the design view, so you can't even tell it works without previewing it!
I haven't tried option #3, but given the need to force the use of onclick I imagine that would not be possible with your widget. I was aware of the list widget however.
I'll have to look at the Mucow docs and give it a try. The docs are a bit light - any plans to flesh them out?

Check with your previous functional consultant, he should be able to tell regular issues related to your package. Generally once SAP is fully set up and running for some months you may not get problem from SAP config related issues. Mostly issues are with related to processes.
If you want us to give more suggestions on process related issues and may be you need to paste all process of your organization or tell us where you are working so may be if some one already have idea about that company could tell you more.

Our records indicate that you have been using your AOL Username to sign in to the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store.
After March 30, 2015, AOL will no longer support your ability to sign in to the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store. In order to continue using store features, including the ability to access your previously purchased content, you must transition from signing in with your AOL Username to signing in with an Apple ID.
To make this transition, simply sign in once more with your AOL Username to iTunes on your Mac or PC. You will automatically be taken through a few short steps to complete the process.
When the process is complete, your new Apple ID will allow you to continue to purchase and download music, movies, TV shows, apps, books, and more. Additionally, your Apple ID will allow you to access other Apple services, such as iCloud and the Apple Online Store.
This transition does not affect any AOL services you may be using with your AOL Username.
AOL Usernames which have not been transitioned to Apple ID will permanently lose access to the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store after March 30, 2015. Apple will be unable to provide support for AOL Usernames which are not transitioned by this date.

The link that appears in the copy in the OP does not go to an Apple site, it is something to the effect of newitunes.com, whereas the text tells you it is an Apple support document.
However, if you take the text of the support document listed, I put it in my browser and it does lead to a legit Apple Support document about coverting. Convert your AOL Username to an Apple ID - Apple Support Seems this needs to be done by March 31, 2015, as AOL will no longer allow users to use their AOL identification.

I have 2 MacBooks at home that back-up to a Time Capsule. I'd like to buy an external Thunderbolt drive at work to have as an additional back-up. Will Time-Machine support autobackups to 2 different devices?

When will Podcast app support playlists?

Anyone know if the Podcasts app will eventually support playlists since apparently the Music app will no longer support podcasts in iOS 6? I like watching video podcasts on my iPhone at the gym (esp sine the music app on the iPad won't do video playlists), and do not want to have to keep choosing a new podcast whilst working out.

I should note that there is a list view in the podcast app, but for some reason it is in reverse chronological order (newest first). This order won't work for die hard podcast listeners. The list should be in chronological order, otherwise you end up having really old podcasts linger at the bottom of the list.
In my original post I say my list is in reverse chron order, but I mean chronological order.
In iTunes you can go in and change Media Kind from podcast to music as a work around. It's not ideal though, becuase then the track gets moved out of the Podcast section in itunes and you lose feautures like keep only unplayed episodes and keep last x episodes etc. Again one could probably write an applescript, toggling the media kind depending on play count, but seriously, what a hack.
Please, please pretty please add playlists to the podcast app so that it uses the smart playlist from iTunes.

Currently running Snow Leopard but wish to upgrade to Mountain Lian to support new iphone etc. Only problem being that I've just set up a small online page using iweb through an ftp server. will Mountain Lion support any changes that I make to my pages and can it then publish trhough the outside server?

iWeb is supported in Mountain Lion. That said you need not upgrade to ML to support new iPhone 5. What OS are you using? All you need is iTunes 11.

I've done the SMC reset as well as the PRAM and NVRAM, no dice.
After going through Optoma's support just to make sure, it couldn't be anything with the projectors I called Apple and spoke with a Senior Advisor. Due to the fact that the VGA splitter works with my mid-2011 iMac, but not with the 2008 iMac his best guess is that the error must have something to do with the handshake protocols that allows the iMac to detect that there is something attached to the external display. Unfortunately there is no way to 'brute-force' the iMac to send video without receiving a handshake confirmation. The "Detect Displays" option only makes the iMac look for a display, but it won't send the signal without a response.
The option at this point is to either find a different splitter and try that, or downgrade the iMac to Leopard (which requires a full wipe and re-install.
Not the solution I had hoped to find, especially when the iMac, VGA splitter, projectors, and presentation software are individually listed as Mountain Lion compatable.

What will iOS5 features will not be supported on a 3GS?

Everytime a new iOS comes out, the feature set that is supported on the iPhone 3GS gets watered down and watered down. Yeah yeah yeah, I know I need to update my hardware, but it just isn't in the budget this month.
Other than some of the more obvious things, like Siri and mirroring, what features in iOS5 will not be supported on the iPhone 3GS hardware? I thought someone would put out a list, but there is nothing in the wild yet.
