I have a Lenovo G780 laptop which had Windows 8 installed when I purchased it. I've since upgraded to 8.1 and have all the Windows updates necessary to receive an invitation to reserve Windows 10, but I still haven't had the icon. When I go to Microsoft site to try to download Windows 10, I just keep getting sent round in circles. Whatever the problem is I just can't upgrade to Windows 10 at the moment. It can't be all to do with Lenovo because my husband has a Lenovo IdeaCentre A700 PC with Windows 7 installed and he has had both the reservation icon and, today, an invitation to download Windows 10. Is there a problem with the laptops?
I made my reservation back in June and up until today the icon always appeared. However, it disappeared today.

I have a 1/2 year old lenovo t440p with Windows 8.1 - totally updated on Windows Update.
A windows 10 reservation icon should be shown on the lower right part of the tray, but it doesn't. A have searched different solutions, and tried manually to run gwx etx.
I there any reason related to Lenovo, that it is not possible to make a reservation for Windows 10 at present time (it should have been possible since 29 May 2015).

Lenovo must have a software issue which prevents icon appear. todat microsoft tech remotely worked for 4 hours and fixed w550s. he spent another 4 hrs on second lenovo edge but no success. he is trying to run script above but did not worked on lenovo edge. will try another microsoft tech tomorrow morning. we need lenovo to fix this issue whatever causes this problem. all other brand PCs i have and other PCs we use in office gets the upgrade notification. lenovo please weigh in and fix the issue. -
Windows 10 reservation icon does not show in the tray in flex 14
I checked out the other thread. I have both the updates installed, infact my system is completely up to date. I also tried running that script, and tried the task scheduler thing. Also tried executing the gwt.exe directly still no good. I tried everything I could find online. I bought the lenovo flex 14 a coule of days ago. The system has been up to date for one day now. But I still dont have the tray icon. I havent disabled any wiindows features from control panel either. I have genuine windows 8.1 single language edition. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Never mind, it just showed up. How do I delete this thread?
Hi,i placed my res for windows 10 a while ago and have an email confirming the res was made etc...my pc crashed and started running badly three days agoi used the refresh recovery option to reinstall my pc and have applied all updated i could find along theway from win 8 then 8.1 etc..Pc woks find again but now there is no windows 10 icon I followed some help from microsoft to find out why and it sais i dont qualify for the updatewhat has happened between the original version and the refresh please help

The aiplay icon does not show in the computer but it does show on itunes. My computer is a Macbook Pro, Retina Mid 2012, with a processor

AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer). You can see which Mac you have and which operating system you are using by selecting 'About this Mac' from the Apple menu in the top left corner of your Mac and selecting the 'More Info' button. -

RESPONSES:
1) When I set up my iMac, I did not transfer any data directly from my windows PC. I simply used the same iTunes login and account. I have access to all of the files via the "Purchased" section of the iTunes store. If I click "Download Previous Purchases" text, I can download ALL of the purchases I have ever made.
2) I have the Apple TV 2, so good news, question answered. I thought maybe it was the Apple TV 1, but it is the Black model, so bam. Good response for you. Well the whole damned reply is an awesome response, just pointing out that one piece of awesome. I stated that it was an Apple TV 2, and yet you were still good enough to figure I could be mistaken, and provide me with knowleedge just incase.
QUESTIONS:
3) So can my iMac not stream the data directly from itunes, without download? Apple TV can, but perhaps that is something among many things that maker it unique, and awesome.

I work in the computer support section for the Military. The only problem is we use Windows , lol. Well that and i've been gone for nearly 6 months on recover. I go back next month though I hope. What OS? Modern OSs will not support Acrobat 7.

The Airplay icon does not show on my Mac Pro, regardless that it is clicked on display. How can I do to see the Airplay Icon in order to connect my apple TV with my Mac Pro?
To check your model go to About This Mac (by clicking on the Apple icon, top left) and then select more info. If you wish to use mirroring you will need one from 2011 or later running OSX 10.8 or later. The alternative would be to use 3rd party software like Airparrot.

Application icon does not show up in iTunes - AdHoc distribution.
I set an icon of size 57 x 57 as the application icon. The icon shows up in the applications list of the iphone. When I bundle it for an adhoc distribution and add it to iTunes, the icon does not show up in the iTunes Application list. But it shows up on the iphone device that I copy to.
Am I missing something?iTunes does not use the icon for display (the icon is only used on the phone itself). In order for iTunes to display the artwork as well, you need to create a 512x512 JPEG file named "iTunesArtwork" (no extension) and copy it into the application bundle (note that you will have to build the application again after this so that the code signature will sign the additional file as well).
This file should be same (other than the name) you load up to iTunesConnect as the 512x512 artwork.

Reset your iPad. Press and hold both the power and home buttons for 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till you iPad starts on it's own. Now try and download an app.

Actual printing is handled by iOS (not by Adobe Reader) via AirPrint over Wi-Fi connection. We've heard from other users about iOS 8 Wi-Fi connectivity problems.

My photostream in windows 7 PC does not shows any pic. when i click on slide show it start showing me slide shows of pic but when i try to copy files i cant do as no photo is viewd in list mode. Hi all. I can’t tell you how to solve your iCloud 3.x issues. Heck, I don’t think they’re even solvable.
But if you had a previous version of iCloud that was working correctly then I can definitely tell you how to solve the “iCloud Photo Stream is not syncing correctly to my Windows 7 PC” problem. …without even a re-boot.
Log out of iCloud 3.0 and uninstall it.
Open My Computer and then open your C:\ drive. Go to Tools/Folder Options and click on the View tab. Select the “Show hidden…” radio button and click on OK.
Open the Users folder.
Open your user folder
Open ProgramData (previously hidden folder)
Open the Apple folder – not the Apple Computer folder.
Open the Installer Cache folder
In Details view sort on Name
Open the folder for the newest entry for iCloud Control Panel 2.x – probably 2.1.2.8 dated 4/25/2013
Right click on iCloud64.msi and select Install.
When finished, the synching between iCloud and your PC will be back to working perfectly as before the 3.0 fiasco. The pictures will be synched to the same Photostream folder as before the “upgrade”. Now all you need to do is wait until Apple/Microsoft get this thing fixed and working before you try the 3.x upgrade again.
I think the iCloud 3.0 software was written by the same folks who wrote healthcare.gov with the main difference being that healthcare.gov might eventually be made to work.
For those of you who hate to go backwards, think of it as attacking to the rear. Which would you rather have, the frustration of no synching or everything working on an older version?
