Hey yeah. not much else to say. The title says it all.
I'm trying to register an OCX file that my video editing application requires to work properly.
I'm using a Registry (Regsvr32 and Regsvr64) tool to Register DLL/OCX files. Both bit Registry tools work fine. I can Register any DLL or OCX file with Windows 7 x64 and everything goes smoothly.
But, when in Windows 7 x32, again, no problem with merging the Regsvr32 tool, but when I go to register the OCX file message says it was loaded but the DllRegisterServer failed with error: 0x80004005.

I don't know what happened.
My Video Editing software was working fine a few days ago in Windows 7 x64. Tried using it this morning....couldn't load the .mpg video clip. Just stood there looking stupid like it does in the 32-bit version of Windows 7.
I was hoping the x64 version of Windows 7 RC 7100 was going to make a decent run against my XP Pro SP3 setup. When I was able to register the required .ocx file for the video editing application, I thought "cool". I made a TV recording then used the Video Editor to edit it and it worked fine. Earlier this morinng I made another TV recording, went to go edit it and the video editing application couldn't load the .mpg file at all. Problem with booting windows 7 (x32 & x64) on GX623

Hello
I have a small problem, I installed on may msi GX623 notebook windows 7 x32 and I see the loading screen for 4 minutes (picture), can I do something to speed up boot? I don’t want every time wait 4 minutes that he’s booting only.
And I have problems to install windows x64 (vista & seven) on my notebook, after complete install and restarting of windows x64 he is not booting. The system hangs at the loading screen
I am already updated my bios and firmware

Can you list your computer hardware specs.? Special attention needs to be paid to the I/O (Input & Output), or the HDD's (Hard Disk Drives), their size, speed, amount of free-space, etc.Are you attempting to do the installation to the default location, or to a custom location? I have used the solution below to fix mine and others that have run into this issue.
Start --> Programs --> Accessories (Right Click on Command Prompt) --> Run as Administrator
then type in: "Netsh winsock reset" (-without the quotes-)
Hit enter, restart PC, iCloud For PC should now connect without any server errors
(This solutions will work in some instances when trying to fix errors associated when you are unable to connect to iTunes also.)

Cannot use isight camera with Windows 7 x32 on Macbook mid-2009

Very very weird,
it worked until bootcamp was upgraded mid next year.
I have been looking for a solution siunce then.
Wife is using the notebook and she is mad every time she is answering call from Skype or MSN Messenger she needs to reboot into Lion.
She uses Windows 7 x32 on bootcamp most of the time yet she cannot use the camera.
The camera shows grey and freezes wiuth busy mouse cursor.
booting intro Lion works so it is something with the drivers.
Can anyone help?

Issue Fixed.
BootCamp 3.2 - 3.3 breaks the functionality with Windows 7 at the latest patch level.
The fix has been:
upgrading OSX to Lion
Patch to latest release
Go To Boot Camp Assistant
Download Windows Support Files to Jump Drive (second option I believe it is)
Reboot into Windows 7
Run Setup - BootCamp 4.0 will install
Reboot
Launch Skype or MSN Messenger - ISight will magically work again!

Epson LX-300, Epson FX-890 printers in Windows Server 2008 x 64 and Windows 7 (x32 and x64)

I have the following problema working with RDP connections to Windows 2008 Server (x64) SP2 and Windows 7 Professional (x32 & x64).
I have setup correctly an Epson LX-300, LX-300+, LX-300+II and FX-890 printers in separate computers in Windows 7 (all working under Windows 7 Professional x64 and x32) and they work correctly.
I need to RDP to a Windows 2008 Server SP 2(x64) and once I log in, the Server Operating System recognizes my printer with no problem at all (Redirected Printer), but when I print, the characters and not understandable, since the printed information is blurry.
When I do excatly the same procedure but with a Client with Windows XP installed the printed information is totally clear, so we can determine at least that the printers are working fine.
I understand this should be a driver issue, but i simply can't make it work correctly.
Can anybody help.

Since the printer can print the test page, there is no need to collect the Event log. I notice there is no specify driver for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008. It seems the default Easy Printer driver doesn’t work properly for these printers.
I suggest you install the Windows Vista driver version on the Server for testing.

Do anyone know that these mixed environment is supported from SAP ?
Central instance: Windows 2003 Ent. x32 / Oracle 9.2.0.7 / SAP 4.6c SR2
1st Dialoginstance: Windows 2003 Ent. x32
2nd Dialoginstance: Windows 2003 Ent. x32
3th Dialoginstance: Windows 2003 Ent. x64
I'am plan a roll upgrade of the Windows 2003 system from x32 to x64 and I'am unsure if supported from SAP. Some OSS hints tell that it is, but most of them are only for database and not for application nodes.
Every hint will be welcome.

Topology Services with Windows Vista (x32) Client

we've client using windows vista, that it's unable to access to Topology Services (LMS3.1)
He is using Java version 6u5.
But he is still getting the error:
JRE Version:1.6.0_05
ERROR ClientUICache: Image not found(1), fileName = fatalerror_32.gif
"Probable cause": Mismatch in Java Runtime Version".

Satellite PRO A200-1S1 with Windows 7 x32. Touchpad doesn't work

Hi everybody
I Installed Windows 7 on my Satellite Pro A200-1S1, retrieved all the drivers on Toshiba site, everything works fine (less than the web camera that didn't work even with previous s.o. XP or Vista...). But my Touchpad doesn't work at all.... No Fn+F9, no driver, nothing works. And in my control panel-device manager seems to be everything ok.
Any suggestion?

Never had any problems with the touchpad using Win 7 32bit.
I recommend installing VAP (value added package) and Flash Card Support Utility to get the FN button functionality. Then you could try FN + F9
Both tools can be downloaded from Toshiba European driver page there you should choose Sat L500 series because I didnt find mentioned Win 7 software for A200 series.
Check also the touchpad drivers which I found in L500 download area (Alps a Synaptics)

PDF Thumnbnail preview PROBLEM (Windows 7 x32)

I have problems now with my adobe reader thumbnail preview.
This started when I had unistall my Adobe Photoshop cs5 white rabbit to replace with Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended. When I uninstalled it with Revounistaller, the thumbnail preview for my pdf files was gone. I tried to do some troubleshootings like:
1. downloading the Adobe thumbnail 64-bit windows 7 provided by programmers but it wont work since i am a 32-bits user.
2. uninstalling and reinstalling adobe reader x
3. reinstalling a previous version of adobe reader
4. uninstalling and reinstalling adobe photoshop cs5 extended
5. downloading and installing Foxit reader; it had resolved the problem but when I reboot the PC, the problem just came back
6. Downloaded a program that enable thumbnail preview for images like Nikon, PSD files and PDF files
7. Cleaning the registry with tune up 2012 and manually
and none of these had work and restored back my pdf thumbnail preview.
I have also noticed on my registry
AcroExch.Document cannot be solved by my tuneup. Manually, it cannot be deleted.
Oh, I am so desperate in looking ways on how to solve this. I hope experts of Adobe can help me solve my problem/frustration.
By the way, I am Adobe reader is one of my very useful programs.

Fans on and off are driving me insane (MacBook Pro 13, Windows 7 x32)

I have had this problem for the past three weeks or so. When I am using Windows, the fan will spend half its time on, half off. It never used to be this way and I am not sure what could have pushed it over the edge - I have not installed any new programs or drivers. This also does not happen in Mac OS - and the system is equally warm under both operating systems. I keep reading on other forums that Apple has not done anything to remedy this situation - is that true?

At this point, if you try installing driver again, try using Driver Sweeper 2.0 from Guru3D to sweep and delete drivers in addition to uninstalling. That can clean things up and help, but I am at a loss and just from reading seems mixed results on MBP as to which ones to use and work or not.
So do browse through today's posts. Though I am perplexed MacRumors couldn't help - seems mixed and the Mac Pro section sometimes more help than Windows on Mac. Though the MacBook area you tried also?

HP Pavilion DV7 1183cl, Windows 7 x32, Sound only playing out of subwoofer

Yesterday, Windows told me I needed to install some critical updates. I installed them and restarted. When I restarted, I noticed that the mute button on my touchbar was red and wouldn't turn back to the on color.
I logged into Windows and tried playing some Youtube videos and stuff to see if the sound was working. It turns out it was, but the sound was only coming out of the subwoofer on the bottom of the laptop and sounded TERRIBLE. When I plug in my headphones it sounds fine except the volume doesn't go as loud as it did before. Pressing the mute button does mute the sound, but it still stays red no matter what.
So I tried resotring my system back to a point when the speakers were working to see if it was a hardware problem, and it turns out it's not. When I restore to an earlier point, the speakers work fine. The problem, however, is for some stupid reason I can't login at the restore point. I just know the speakers work because the error sound comes out of the Altec Lansings on the front, and the mute button actually changes colors.
I've spent the last 3 hours trying everything I can think of. I've downloaded new IDT High Def Audio Drivers, I've uninstilled them in hardware manager and let it reinstall itself, messed with every setting I can think of in Control Panel and I've got nothing so far.
This is very frustraing and I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I see you mentioned updating the audio drivers. Have you tried updating the BIOS and then running the windows updates? I would advise that you keep the BIOS updated as well as the device drivers. you can get more trouble shooting tip by following this link....

Bluetooth for MBP with Windows 7 x32

Hello, I have a mid 2012 MBP with a bootcamp 4.0 partition with 32 bit Windows 7 on it. Everything worked perfectly right from the time of installation except bluetooth. I am trying to connect to my Rocketfish bluetooth headphones. The OSX sides connects flawlessly every time, but Windows will recognize and add the device, but is unable to connect to the device. I have done some research on this problem and most people suggest various ways of installing drivers. However, all the solutions I have tried thus far, in particular the Toshiba bluetooth drivers, do not seem to work for a 32 bit Windows. I was wondering if anyone had a solution for this for a 32 bit version?

Different software can produce very different charge life times, Iamtheone. It may simply relate to different demands placed on processor and HD use by the software you are using under bootcamp when compared to the software being used under OSX. Perhaps it is even simply a measure of the different operating efficiency (power wise) of Windows and OSX 10.6?
What software are you typically using when running bootcamp?
