Reachability mode needs to be like note 3, shortened in height and width please?

Change reach ability mode to be more like the Note 3, not just reduced in heighth but also in the width. Possible ? Maybe in The future?

A different but similar problem with my Gen 3 iPod. After installing iTunes 7, whenever I am playing anything on the iPod through the Mac (PM G4), iTunes pops up these dialog boxes that tell me that it can't update the iPod because the file is in use. If I check the pane about the iPod in iTunes, it tells me the iPod is up to date and doesn't need updating.
Everything works apart from this annoying dialog box (and the 'bing' when it appears, about every 120 seconds)!
I suspect iTunes 7.1 will fix some of this, including the 'recovery mode' problem, but why wasn't 7.1 made for 7.0? I hope that Apple aren't taking the Microsoft path of software development.

Once you have a proven, working Charger... Charge the Device for a couple of hours. Then try to turn it on.
If no joy...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If the issue persists...
Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...

Popup window height and width is not as expected

As you can see there is not yet a way to set the Popup size.
You have to find the good combination of fields and length in order to get a nice UI.

How to make the finder window expand to full height AND width of my screen, but not "full screen mode".

The new green button on the finder window makes the screen go into full screen takeover mode - alt clicking this makes it 100% height of the screen.
How can I make this 100% width and height (just like it used to be in Mavericks)?
I have 2 x 27" monitors, so the "full screen takeover" mode is not right as I only want the finder window to be on one monitor whilst I work on another.
Any ideas?! Thank you!

Phone stuck in recovery mode complete black screen will not turn on after recovery and update there was an error and now computer and itunes will not recognize the phone....Anyone know what I can do to get the phone recognized again when it cant be turned

Phone was not updated on time so it automatically shuts off and you get a plain black screen until it is recovered and updated. Well when i did the update and recovery I received an error. I went through the steps to fix the error, I had to restart my computer and now the phone isnt recognized on my computer or in itunes. The screen is still completely black so pushing the home button and plugging in to computer still does nothing. Device manager shows nothing in usb port, and apple mobile device software is installed and running. Any help?

Finished my composition but it's too big, I need to scale to a fixed height and width - help?

Hi everyone,
This is quite urgent - I've finished my project in Edge Animate, but it is too large and needs to be scaled down. I tried to place it in a separate DIV element in the HTML and scale it down with the CSS but this doesn't work.
I want to scale it from the 1024px wide it currently is down to a fixed width of 800px. Can anyone help me do this? All of the tutorials I have found are to do with making the composition responsive to the user resizing the browser, and this isn't what I need at the moment.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Can you explain a bit further what you need this for? Are you just trying to center the Stage on your page?
Asking because when writing out this script I ran into some weird browser issues setting the transform origin to the center (IE and FF IIRC). You can give it a shot though by changing the transform origin in the code to:
“transform-origin”:”50% 0″, (for all prefixed instances)

Hello people. I have (had) an iPad 1 (wifi only) - which was stolen two days ago. It's locked with a passcode but I am worried that someone will be able to get into it. I've got the Find app installed on my iPhone 4S and it shows that both my iPad and stolen iPod are offline.
Q - if either the iPad or the iPod goes into an unlocked wifi area, will I be notified on my phone?
Q - can anyone actually break into my iPad as it is locked?
Q - how does iCloud work in terms of the info that's on my iPad - photos etc that I don't want to lose?
Q - I've reported this to the police - does Apple need to know?

Fancybox iframe in Edge Animate - Not showing correct height and width

Hi All,
Can someone please provide advice or a solution to this issue.
I have been trying to use the Fancybox.js in Edge Animate to call an iframe (as a lightbox pop up).
However when I try this it doesn't show the correct height and width properties - even though I am setting them.
When I test this on my hard drive it works fine in Chrome and Firefox. However when tried online on a test server I get a slim pop up that hasn't set the height properly.
Could this be because the iframe is pre-loading the composition/html page first before setting the size??

I worked out what the problem was - my external composition that was created Edge Animate was centred both horizontally and vertically.
This was created the problem. When I took this off the fancy box worked well.

Bad news - There are non (Exactly as in iMovie 1 to HD6 or FinalCut)
Good news - There are sort of - at least project is presented in ONE row.
• Click on a specific iMovie PROJECT
• In this window - top right hand there are two small symbols - one blue three squares and one with two brown red symbols. Click on the three blue squares one.
• to get the Audio - under this there is a small wave like symbol - Click on this.
But still this view has so many quirks that a person familiar with iMovie 1 to HD6, FinalCut, Adobe Premiere and Avid can feel a bit of serious frustration. (at least I do)

No; but then, I've not had occasion to use TDM. I've been using firerwire drives for over 10 years, both FW400 and FW800, with no issues except a bit of instability using a B&W G3 machine.
TDM should be safe. Using cautious, manual copying of files from the Target machine to the Host machine should not result in unexpected loss of files or damage to the Target drive's directories. It should behave exactly the same as if it were an external (to the Host) firewire drive.

It started randomly about two weeks ago and I thought it was a glitch that would just go away. But now I am getting sick of using only the block eraser on one size. Help?

The easiest thing to start with is to reset the Eraser Tool.
Right click on the Eraser icon in the tool options bar and then click on Reset Tool.

My iPhone is in a mode where no buttons work. Seems like a debugging mode. How do I restore functionality? Power off and on does not change it.

Somehow I pressed a combination of buttons on my iPhone and now it is in a mode where pressing buttons only shows the button is selected and a voice prompt speaks the button. I've tried to shut down and turn back on... nothing changes. When I try to enter passcode it only speaks the code, it does not enter the code in to the spaces, so I cannot login. The phone is totally unusable in this mode. What did I do to enable this function, and how do I turn it off?

Try pressing the HOME button 3 times quickly. In this mode you need to double-tap anywhere that you would otherwise just tap. Once you get there go to Settings/General/Accessibility and turn off voiceover.
