    Hi All
    We've deployed Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium using AAMEE 3.1 to about 500 workstation across our school campus.  However, we're having a really weird issue where either the licensing screen will randomly pop up asking for reactivation (7 days) or the program requested will just fail to run.  If I try to reactivate using the wizard onscreen it says I don't have a valid internet connection.  This causes a lot of frustration for our users (and me!!)
    The only work around I found to it is to re-serialize using a serialization package made with AAMEE.  I'm considering adding it to a start-up script to re-serialize every PC when they are booted up each day but it it seems ridiculous to need to do this.  I thought AAMEE removed all activation checks and prompts, this doesn't seem to be the case here??
    I've had a look around the forums and while there are similar issues I haven't found a resolution to this, any help/suggestions would be much appreciated!

    you should be able to package product and their updates via AAMEE 3.1. if some package doesnt contain updates, you can also modify the package using AAMEE and add updates to it.
    please share PDApp.log and installer log file generate on client machine. For details of location please refer to page 112-113 in Enterprise deployment guide.

  • I was charged over $600 for a phone I returned and it has been reactivated, but they can't take the charge off my bill.

    In September I was charged $650 for a broken phone that was not returned.  I took the phone to Verizon store near my home and asked what I needed to do to return the equipment.  The sales rep said all I needed to do was put it in the envelope and put it in the mail.  I asked him if there was paperwork or anything I needed to send with it.  He said again, no you just put it in the envelop and put it in the mail.  So against my better judgement I did.  October came and the charge was still on my bill.  I called customer service and they told me to wait and it should show up.  I called again a couple weeks later and explained what I had done and that I had returned the phone.  The supervisor I talked to figured out that I had sent the phone to "Hope Line"  which was a padded envelope that came in the same return box.  So basically I donated a phone $650 to Hope Line.  She reassured me that Hope Line also tracks the phones and once it showed up on their system my account would be credited.  I talked to someone on Friday and my phones-3 of them were shut off on Monday.  I called again and the new person I talked to told me the phone had been found, but they couldn't credit my account for a couple of days.  They transferred my call to billing and the guy was upset that the customer service person had even told me that.  The November bill came out and still the charge was there.  I called again and again my phones were shut off.  I called to get them reinstated the first part of December.  The person on the phone this time told me that I would have to pay the fee.  I asked if the phone had been found.  He was rude and stated it did not go back to the warehouse and I would have to pay the fee.  He did tell me that the phone had been reactivated.  So if the phone had been reactivated and someone was paying for the data plan, why did I have to pay for the equipment fee that I sent back and now someone else was using?  I asked to talk to a supervisor.  She stated that I would have to pay the fee, but she was going to talk to warehouse and see if there was something they could do to get the fee taken off-since someone else is now using that phone.  She told me she would get back to me in a couple of days.  That was the second week of December and still I have not heard back from anyone.  My December/January bill is due the 29th and still I have a $650 charge on my bill.  Any suggestions on how I can get this resolved?

    That sounds like an idea.I've had trouble with Verizon a lot .I I switch ed back to a non andriod phone cause of the expense it took 3 months and at least that many hours of phone calls &store visits to straight in it out...there's been many times things are blocked and a month later its back on the bill,u call and are told they can't do anything ...not there problem, can't b fixed from there end,I asked to talk to a sup. At was told I couldn't then she said I'd b told the same thing I insisted...I was on hold for about 20 minutes I hung up tried to call back they would not answer, I called my daughter had her call they answered when she told them they tried to blow her off too, so she went down to a store and made a complaint.. I don't have a store in our town,the customer should not have Togo through all that trouble some of this is down right criminal... I'm going through more problems again....they won't Evan discuss it with me unless I pay what's owed and the amount has still got the internet fees they've never taken off.

    You will need to visit appleid.apple.com to manage your Apple ID. From there, you can log in with your existing credentials and then change your registered email addresses.
    This is also where you can update your physical address, phone number, security questions, etc.

    We are running SAP ECC6 EHP5 and SAP SCM 7.02/Live Cache 7.9.
    I am a sap basis guy, and it is quite difficult to perform any maintenance on ECC6 which would require a shutdown ( parameter change, kernel update, memory adjustment, ...) because of the impact it has on the CIF
    I just wanted to share with you our current procedure just to determine if it is indeed a common practice.
    I understand that similar issues have already been discussed on sap scn threads, but most of them concern SCM/APO shutdown, like here :
    How to handle CIF before we try to apply Service Packages to SCM?
    I could not find any note, best practice regarding ECC6 shutdown
    So, whenever we stop the ECC6 ssytem , we need to run a CIF-DEACTIVATION job, which consists of the following steps :

    HI Raoul,
    No need to activate and de activate CIF when ever you stop ECC system.
    Reason is you will send data to APO only When ECC is not available i.e., RFCs not working then you will set up the connections and do data transfers.
    Check any data transfer is happening by directly/batch. Postpone those activities..
    Prior to shut down ECC/SCM send remainders to users that the systems will not be available.
    Use these 2 programs from SCM side when you have stopped ECC.
    RSTRFCQ1 : Stop Outbound Queue
    RSTRFCQ3 : Restart Outbound Queue.
    In our project we have to postpone/stop the jobs for data transfers between ECC and APO.
    However you will be having daily CIF jobs to make ECC and APO in synch. So, once you re start your ECC regular CIF jobs will activate new objects(master and trnasaction data) and will deactivate lod data.

    Error translated to english:

    The first time I display the region this error doesn't happen. Then it is deactivated (finalizing the task flow) and when activating again (initializing the task flow again) the error appears just when displaying the first jsf page. The error is due to a soc field in the page. If I remove it, then it doesn't give any error.

    I have already found the problem.
    You are right. What I am really doing is conditionally activating the region (with properties "activation" and "active"). I think this is ok.
    The problem that I have found is due to that page had the iterator defined as ChangeEventPolicy=ppr. Previously to executing the page, in the task flow I do a CreateInsert operation on that iterator. The first time I acceess the page it executes ok and handles the new record as the current record. When deactivating and reactivating (or as you prefer to call it) the region, afeter executing the ceratInsert, when the page is executed the ChangeEventPolicy=ppr erexecuets de iterator and the "new" row (that was not posted nor committed to the database) is lost.
    I have removed the ppr and now it seems to work better.
    Is this the behaviour of the iterator PPR ?

    If a new SIM is activated on the same account for the same number, any existing SIMs for that number are deactivated.
    Why exactly would you care if the SIM in the missing device still works or not?

    Where did you purchase illustrator. It sounds like it was from a shady dealer. I would contact Adobe and see what you can do.

    should be no problem.
    Best case is you can activate online via Internet.
    Worst case is you have to call Microsoft and explain that it is the same computer after a mainboard failure.

  • Skype number inactivated and can't be reactivated

    For some reason my Skype Number has been deactivated. My account has been credited 10 days ago and I received a confirmation; so the payment has been received. If I try to reactivate the number I receive the message:
    "We're having technical problems. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again after a few minutes. Thank you.". I have this number for 4 years, so you can imagine the serious issues when this number can't be reactivated. To be clear, I'll rephrase:
    You deactivated my Skype number without reason
    "Reactivate number" function is not working
    You received payment for a service that's not working
    Number is also used for business, being disconnected is a serious issue
    Since you have no direct customer support; I would like to receive support and immediate action a.s.a.p. as any day counts for the obvious reasons

    For some reason the Skype Number wasn't included in the payment, while other payments are done automatically. When I bought more credits, the function "Reactivate number" worked and I could fulfill another payment (again). The number has been activated now, but it won't be hard to imagine that I'm not happy with the services and the working of skype / website!

    deactivating is done by opening a programs > click help > click deactivate.
    that's not applicable to cc apps.

  • Help! DreamWeaver MX 2004 reactivation doesn't work!

    Following having to reinstall my complete system from a backup, due to a deep seated virus I just couldn't get rid of, my DreamWeaver MX 2004 now requests reactivation.
    I tried the online reactivation, but this no longer exists, and the phone activation doesn't work either!
    It was working just fine when I made the backup, and was working fine before I had to reinstall.
    I have tried Adobe chat, but they tell me it's too old and they don't have the info now.
    Well, MX 2004 suited me just fine right now, and my serial number is a non-expiring one, so why can't I use it? At the moment, I just can't afford a new version.
    All I need is the confirmation number normally given out on the phone to make it work...
    Any ideas please?

    After some more extensive digging I found the solution, which I'm putting here for others if they are in the same situation.
    Adobe has a page giving new serial numbers following the discontinuation of the activation server.

    You will have to restore your iPad. If you never synced with iTunes or do not have access to a computer, you may have to put the iPad in recovery mode.

  • Power factor, reactive, active and apparent power

    Good morning,
    I have a VI that make some math calc and give me the power factor from the system, but when I'm trying to show it in a waveform graph I have some problems.
    First I have to fix the scale: -1 to 1 
    Second that you all know if the values go high than 1 the value has to be negative -0.999 -0.98 
    How could I work on Y axis to change it when I'm trying to show a graph of power factor? I think about use property node to work on Y axis... but maybe have an easier way!
    And also if someone know an easier way to calculate power factor,
    Reactive, Active and Apparent power I would be glad if someone can help me on that!

    This program  was made in LabVIEW 7.1
    I will upload the code but I will tell here more or less what it do.
    You won't be able to run the problem because it's open a file that I have recorded with another program and save a new file.
    To get real power (p) = I took the average of instantaneous power 
    P=V x I
    Apparent power (S) =  Vrms x Irms
    Reactive power (Q) = SQRT (S^2 - P^2)
    Power Factor = P/S
    This is the math, the problem is I need to adjust the graph to power factor
    and we know that power factor goes -1 to 1
    How can I make LabVIEW understand if a value go high than 1 so it's negative? my problem is that!
    I will make a second post to upload the other 2 VI's

    If it asks for an activation to activate the develop, it must be a CC version installed. If you use a CC version you have to pay you for your selected plan like monthly or annually.
    If you should have the stand-alone version because you don't have/want a CC plan, then you probably have installed the wrong version - the CC instead of the stand-alone.
