I used to have a skype number but had to allow it to runout. Can I reactivite that number

You would have to go through the process to purchase the number, then search for it after you select the country and area code it was in. If you do not find that number, it has been resold to another Skype user or is unavailable to anyone for use as an Online Number.

I have been trying to raise my concern via the skype chat but it seems its not working. But basically here is my concern.

You should be able to sign on to your account dashboard and reactivate your Skype Number. The number will be held on your account for ninety (90) days following the Skype Number subscription's expiration, so you have opportunity to sign on and renew the subscription.
Remember that the payment method you wish to use is accurate and up-to-date. If you used Skype credit, be sure there is enough credit on account to cover the cost of the renewal.

Your Skype Number should have been held in reserve for you to renew for a period of 90 days following the subscription end. Beyond that timeframe, the number is released/recycled back into the system.

Canceling old Skype number

I just added a new Skype number for Wisconsin, and now I wish to cancel my old Skype number with a Cincinnati area code. How do I do that? I followed the instructions, but there is no "cancel Skype number" option under my old Cincinnati Skype number. I tried finding a phone number for Skype so that I could get a live voice to help me, but never found this. How can I cancel the old Skype number?

Hi there my old skype number has ran out. Would it be possible to get it back or would it have been given to someone else now?

Report to find a material by a mfr part number and old material number

Hi,
Is there any standard report to find a material by a mfr part number and old material number ?
For the moment, we are using MM03 to search articles by these selection criterion.

As there is no stsndard report use the SQVI to find out the details, It is very simple , please follwo the below steps.
Use Txn SQVI, enter the Quick view field say- ZMNFR and click the create button, Enter the title in the next screen i.e Report name- Say - Manufacturer's Part No. Details, in the same screen you need to enter MARA for the data from table/database view, please leave the 1. data source as Table only and the radio button as Basis mode only. Click the tick mark , you will go to the next screen,
You will notice Quick viewer Intial screen
Open the node general material data
Select the Buttons besides the fields MARA-MATNR for material number, MARA-MFRPN for manufacturers part number, and MARA-BISMT for old material number. You can include any other field if you wish to have in your output. You will notice two check boxes against each field, one is for input screen field and the other is for outputf field. But currently you do not bother about and select both the check boxes or any other field you wish to have as input and output as well. Once selected all the fields afer clicking the check boxes save the total arrangement. and then in the same screen use the execute button or use F8 to find out your report input screen.
Now enter the Material number for which you wish to know other two details in the report and execute again you will find the report output.
Please ensure that you are maintaining both the details in material master basic data1 and purchasing view if you wish to get out output

I had a Skype number a few years ago. Was thinking of reactivating my account, and was wondering of I could use the same number (or do I have to get a new one)?

Hi Dave,
It works this day- after the number expires it is reserved for the same account for another 90 days.
After that it comes back to the general pool and can be purchased by anyone.
Unfortunately you old Skype Numbers belong to someone else already

I paid my bill and my skype number has been deacti...

My number was deactivated today when I paid my bill 5 days ago on the 17th of March. It was not due until the 21st but I paid it and it has posted to my Visa card and all. I don't understand why my number has been deactivated. I have important calls to receive but cannot because it's telling all of my callers that my number is no longer available.

I bought or activitated a skype number for 3 months (it cost 17,25 Euro) sometime in October 2012 and should be valid from October 2012 to December 2012. If you don't want to continue this number you have to cancel it before the 3 months peried ends. Now, this number didn't work and I wrote email to skype to complain, but there is only that noreply email address, which you should not write to and apparently it didn't reach skype.. The payment was deducted form my Paypal account. So, apparently my complaint didn't reach skype. I just find out about this forum/community now.
Then, skype, since it perhaps doesn't know my compliant, deducted again from my paypal account the next 17,25 Euro for the next 3 months. As a protest that I don't want to continue this number or order, I stopped the amount deducted by paypal. But skype has got it already from paypal.
Now skype is writing me that the payment is fraudulent, and paypal has now gone to a lawyer to get the originally 17,25 payment that skype has deducted from them which which I had stopped and the amount now that paypal want me to pay has gone now to an astronomic high of 87,38 Euro (including lawyer cost).
I want skype to cancel this number I subscribed because it doesn't work, and they were not easy and available to be reached for customers. And I want to claim the 34,50 Euro (17,25 Euro x 2) be refunded, and I want skype to pay paypal the amount that paypal is claiming from me, because if it doesn't for skype, the amount that paypal is wanting from me would not have accumulated.
Is there a case like this in this forum? Are there skype employees here who are reading this? I don't know where to send my complaint. It is unfair for individual customers because skype is a vast apparatus and you don't know how to connect with them to protect one's rights immediately.
Please some good souls out there help me and message me.

I wanted to know once I have a Skype Number, and someone calls me, do I pay any additional cost for the phone call besides the 18 dollars for the number if the person I am talking to is in the United States and the Skype Number is a US number?

brother use some proxy first like pptp or hotspot shield and then make call, this will fix your problem i think because many voice ports are blocked by PTA.

Online Skype number is in use by a local hospital

The Skype number I selected is apparently still in use by a local hospital. Whenever I make outgoing calls to my friends land lines or mobile phones, their caller ID shows the local hospital name and my Skype number. Also, when people call my Skype number, they get the local hospital, not me.
I called my Skype number from my land line and spoke to the hospital and they say that my Skype number has been in use at the hospital for over 20 years.
How can I get my number changed or correct this problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unable to renew Skype Number

When I log into Skype, it tells me my number is about to expire. When I click on "Settings" to renew it, it simply tells me I have insufficient Skype funds (I don't). All it will allow me to do is "Update" my payment settings, even though it actually won't (when I press "billing" nothing happens). When I go to the section of the site to download a number, it only aks me to purchase a new one. HALP.

On the day your Skype Number subscription expires, it will be automatically renewed for the same period of time for which you initially purchased it.
To change your Skype Number payment method:
Sign in to your account.
In the Manage features section, click Skype Number. You’ll see the next payment due date under your Skype Number.
Click Settings.
Here you can change your existing payment method.
You can change your payment method as long as the new method supports recurring payments, such as a credit card, PayPal or Skype Credit. This is not possible in countries where the payment cannot be made from your Skype Credit balance.
When you cancel your subscription and your Skype Number expires, you can reactivate it from your account within 90 days.

HELP!!!!!! I cannot renew my annual Skype Number s...

I am sorry to bother you with this but after 15 minutes of searching I could not find any support number, email address or anything for Skype. Is this true??????? A paid service with no support? Just a bunch of FAQ items that does not help?
The problem is: I have some Skype Numbers. Before they expire, I usually receive a warning and then I go there and manually pay $60 to extend them for another year. At least this is how it worked in the past.
Now I received an email saying that my automatic payment (whaaaaat???) failed and my Skype Number will expire within 2 days.
The problems are:
1. I have never asked them to debit my account automatically.
2. And especially not with $18 which is 3 months only. I want another year.
3. Nothing changed with my credit cars do why did it fail?
4. Where have all the manual payment options gone???????
There is no button or any option to pay manually. It only allows me to change the payment method. There is no way I can pay the annual fee.
Is this a Microsoft trick so that I will lose my number? Can anyone help me as apparently there is no support for Skype but a bunch of useless FAQ items. I pay for this service but I cannot get help.

As I understand it, the process is simply to cancel the three-month subscription (you can do this via your account or by contacting Skype Customer Service). You will not lose your current Skype Number; it will be held for you for 90 days following the end of the current subscription term). Then, after the subscription expires, sign on to your account and renew your Skype Number for the term you wish. If you wish to cover the cost using Skype Credit, ensure there is enough credit on account prior to renewing.
