"Read more" leads to blank page?

Today on my web site clicking the "Read more" link leads to a blank page. I've not done anything different that I can think of; the site was working fine as recently as Friday when I last posted. (My dd using Safari claims it crashed Safari, too, though it doesn't crash my Firefox.)
What can this be?

Hi, Maria--I appreciate your giving it a try. I still don't see the rest of the post. This appears to affect only the first two posts on that page (today's and the previous one), and my husband has no trouble seeing it with IE on a WIndows machine but can't see it with Firefox on his Windows computer, and my daughter can't see it with Safari on a Mac nor can I with Firefox on my Mac. I guess some code got screwed up, but I've no idea how to fix it.

Adding More than 30 Blank Pages in Editor

I have never had any trouble adding more than 30 blank pages in Photoshop Editor. Usually on page 29 or 30 instead of clicking add a blank page I'll click the option underneath it to add a blank page using that layout and it'll let me make blank page ad intinitum. Is there something I have to click or do? Jeannie

I don't think in Photoshop 8 PSE that you can create more
than 30 pages at a time. However in Photoshop 7 PSE you
can create page 31 if at page 30 you click create another blank
page using this format. But it does not work in Photoshop 8 unless
there is some answer other than this one.

GetURL() leading to blank page on IE6

Hello,
I have a call to Javascript from a SWF:

In IE6, clicking on the button with this code sometimes leads
me to a blank page with the URL of the page in the IE address field
with a # appended.

void() in Javascript calls allows to avoid having an [object]
returned in a blank page.
Anyway, I tried without before and the problem was the same.
So, it's not this void thing.

What can I do to get Google + to show more than a blank page?

Since Firefox was upgraded to v24 Google + just shows a blank page. When I click refresh the Google + page appears and shows posts but then goes blank. I've cleared the cache but this makes no difference.

Clearing cache helps in many cases, but with Google, you might also need to remove the site's cookies.
Save any pending work first, then, while viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page and logging back in to Google+.

Reader won't work- blank page and says "done"

I can't get reader to show any documents from websites. It says downloading but then says done with a blank page. I have windows xp and ie.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted a few times. Everything from Adobe help pages seems ok.

* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Remove/Alter "Read More" on Blog front page

Is there any way to remove or alter the "Read More" that automatically comes up on the front page of a blog done through iWeb? My posts are all small enough to fit in the space allotted, so there is nothing more to read.

Foxit reader is default PDF reader and presents a blank page when asked to show a PDF document.

I use Mozilla Firefox and Foxit Reader as my default PDF reader. I go to a web site that has a click-on to a PDF document. Mozilla opens a new tab and presents a blank page with the word "done" in the bottom left corner. The address bar shows the called up document, but no document shows.
How do I correct this?
If I go to IE which calls on Adobe, the document comes up fine.

Things are still not right online with Wells Fargo/Adobe pdf's. I have uninstalled all versions of Adobe Reader, AIR, and Flash Player, and have downloaded the new versions. I did the flash player a few minutes ago when trying to watch a YouTube video sent via email and I received a prompt telling me I needed to upgrade Adobe Flash Player.When I access the list of Bank statements for what I call my main account ( I have two checking, two savings, and one Visa accounts with this bank) the list of ten or so monthly accounts for this "main account" appears. I can click on any one of them, get a blank pdf, click on the refresh button, then the pdf appears; one of the savings accounts is on this same statement.
If I bring up the other checking account or the other savings account, the only entry on the monthly list that pertains to that account is the second one on the list. All the other months are still from the "main account". I can bring up any of those monthly pdf's via the refresh button route.
The Visa account monthly list is good, but I have to click on refresh to view the pdf.
The pdf statements from US Bank work fine.

Upgrading to 2.0 leads to blank page with only "iPhone" displayed in iTunes

I took the leap and upgraded my iPhone to 2.0 on my Toshiba laptop. Everything seem to go fine until it rebooted and told me that my iPhone would automatically reconnect to iTunes. It did, but all that shows up in the iPhone page is a blank page that just says "iPhone" and nothing else. No information about my iPhone.
The iPhone itself just shows the image of a USB cable connecting to the iTunes logo and the "Slide for Emergency" slider.
Anyone else run into this problem and know what I need to do?

I spoke to customer support at Apple, and they had me:
1. Disconnect the iPhone
2. Shutdown and restart the computer
3. Start iTunes first, then connect the iPhone
iTunes then recognized the iPhone and proceeded to recover, then I was able to complete the update.

Adobe reader opens file as blank pages

I have tried importing a PDF document reformatted and exported from Open Office from Mac laptop to iPad ios 7 several ways. Sending by email through Apple mail and Yahoo mail as well as file transfer through iTunes. The 149-page document full of text opens as blank on every page in Adobe Reader. Yet when I share the same file from Adobe Reader to Documents app on iPad and open the file there, the text is complete.
The same happens when I email the PDF file from my mac directly from Preview.
How to open this file with all its text visible in Adobe Reader on iPad with ios 7?

The fix: I went into Properties in the Open Office file and saw there was a custom property "ShareDoc" marked as "no." I changed that to "yes" and re saved the file, exported it to .pdf for may and sent it to Adobe reader on my iPad. File opened.

Links lead to blank page, title bar says GIF image 1 x 1 pixels

Firstly - I did post this yesterday but it did not appear - my apologies if it comes up twice.
When I click some links from various pages, including Yahoo and Google search results, I get a blank screen with (GIF Image, 1x1 pixels) in the tab, the correct URL is shown in the address bar. It started occasiobally, now happens with all search results and many (but not all) links from one site to another, whether they open in a new tab/window or the same tab.

Some firewalls like Kaspersky can block content and send a 1x1 GIF image instead.
Kaspersky: Protection > Firewall > Filtration system: disable the "Banner Ad Blocker"

Get an error message when trying to "read more" in my iWeb posting

I just installed the latest software updates and now I get this message when I click on "Read More" in my iWeb page
but we can't find the iWeb page you've requested. It's possible that:
· The address was entered incorrectly. Check your spelling and try again.
· The .Mac member of this name has either created a page and removed it or has never published an iWeb site.
· There is no .Mac member of this name. If you'd like this member name for yourself, sign up for a .Mac account right now and have your own iWeb site in minutes.
This seems to only happen when I use Safari and not when I use Firefox. It was working fine in both until I installed the software updates.
Anyone know why or what I should do?

Metadata Repository shows a blank page

I cannot access the Metadata Repository on either of the three BW Netweaver 2004s systems in our environment. I figure it has to be the SAPGUI that is at fault.
I am using 6.40 with Patch level 18. I fully re-installed SAPGUI, still can't access the Metadata Repository.
Any ideas?

did you recently install either XP SP2 or Internet Explorer 7?
The blank space you are seeing is (as you already guessed) an HTML control which uses the Internet Explorer Control.
Since from time to time Microsoft introduces incompatible changes we have to patch the HTML control / the SAP system to workaround this.
1) XP SP2: In this SP Microsoft disabled the MK protocol which we were using. Therefore we had to switch to using another protocol which requires a change in the SAP system. You have to implement note 738927.
2) Internet Explorer 7: This is also incompatible and can lead to blank pages. You have to use at least the following patchlevels:
SAP GUI for Windows 6.20 patchlevel 64
SAP GUI for Windows 6.40 patchlevel 20
SAP GUI for Windows 7.10 patchlevel 0
You may even have to apply both the SAP GUI patch and the correction instruction from note 738927.

Adobe Reader 9.3.4 intermittently prints or prints blank pages

We are encountering a problem with workstations in our environment where users can occasionally print PDF files successfully but often (more than 50% of the time) nothing prints or 10-20 blank pages print. On the workstation, no error messages appear on screen at any time and no errors related to this issue appear in the Event Log. In the System Tray, the print icon appears and disappears normally. If I watch the print queue, the job passes and appears like it printed successfully and the queue clears. We've also run into a few instances where only a half page prints or half of a page prints (when printing as image) but is shrunken and centered on page.
The users have multiple configurations regarding printers. All have at least one Xerox printer installed and various combinations or HP, Brother and Canon printers for use while off network. The users experience this issue when printing from their workstations to any of these printers. We have tried PS, PCL6 and Universal print drivers for each of the printer to no effect. We have uninstalled Adobe Reader and reinstalled multiple times. We tested using a base 9.0.0, 9.3.3 and after update to 9.3.4 and the same problem existed. We did clear out the folders and any stray registry entries between uninstall/reinstall. We also cleared off all print drivers and reinstalled only one driver just to test and still experienced the problem.
We have tried the "print as image" suggestion and received the same results. We've tried setting the printing preference (Print/Advanced) to Send For Each Page to no effect. We've disabled all advanced features in the print drivers -- same issue.
All of our workstations are on Windows XP SP3. On the machines we're actively troubleshooting this problem on, we have confirmed Windows Updates have been applied through the August 2010 patches. Our environment is fairly vanilla -- WinXP SP3, Office 2003, HP workstations. Problem occurs when printing PDFs from email attachments, from web pages or when saved locally. The problem also occurs on workstations at unrelated business units so it isn't a case where one batch of bad images/installs rolled out. We use direct (IP) printing and not network print servers/queues.
If anyone can provide any assistance, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Blank pages when reading Acrobat 7 documents in Reader 8.1.2

I have dozens of PDF documents that can be viewed using Reader 7.x However, when I try to view them with Reader 8.1.2 the pages appear blank or nearly blank (a few characters may appear). Other users in my office have the same problem. The only common feature is we are all using Windows XP SP2 or SP3.
I have tried reinstalling. I have followed one of the Knowledgbase articles to remove registry settings and to run the repair for Reader 8.1.2, but that did not work.
Sometimes (not always), as I navigate around these blank documents, I will get an error message. I may get one or more of these messages:
-- Cannot extract the embedded font 'IEAEPH+Helvetica'. Some characters may not display or print correctly.
-- An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem.
-- Wrong operand.
I would appreciate any and all suggestions on how to clear this up! Reverting permanently to Acrobat Reader 7 doesn't make sense to me.

I would appreciate any suggestions that anyone might have with this issue. I have tried to find some sort of pattern between those documents I can view and those I cannot. I have found:
-- it is NOT the size of the document
-- among the problematic documents, the application, the PDF Producer and version of PDF varies so it does not seem to have anything to do with that. In case it does, here is what I have found after checking 16 documents:

Helpservice called with javascript leads to a blank page

First of all thanks a lot for your future answers.
I am desperatly trying to open a help service within a web template.
I had a look to the following post
Unable to Call Help Service Class
and also to the "enhance web printing" how to document.
Both documentation were really helpfull.
The service I call works perfectly.
The problem is that when I call the service, it leads to a session timeout.
I do not know what I can do.
Here is the javascript embended in my web template code:
The objective is to write the selected date from the drop down box into the table TVARVC (this is what my service does).

I have found a temporarily solution which consists in opening the location in a new window and to close it just after... It is not really what I want to have, but it will solve my issue.
