Read_text to get Inspection lot details

can anyone tell how to get Specification details in qa13 using read_text.
i need long text of specification.

Go into the transaction in your Dev or QA system and make a change to text and save. Then, go to SE11, display table STXH contents and find the change you made (with user and date fields). There you have the keys, so you can see how to structure your read of texts.... There are other ways, but this always works for me.

Dear check this below points.
1. Check if Material Master Auto usage decision has been checked.
2.All characteristics should be optional if not make all the char as "Optional " through control indicator This can be done for next lots only.
3.All chracteristics must be calculated and status should be 5 completed and no defect recording done.
4. Check mic indicator activated in material master and you have to do RR for this inspection lot or u can force fully complete all MICs and male IL status INSP and check again in QA16
5.Did you selected releavant UD selected set for inspection lot in QA16.

How to use SAP XI to get Inspection Lot IDOC when Insp. lot is created

I want to create a 3rd party .NET app that gets an Inspection Lot IDOC when an inspection lot is created, gather the inspection results, then push the results back to SAP in an IDOC. How do I use SAP XI to do that? I developed an HTTP listener .NET app and configured a sender communications channel for the SAP System and a receiver connunications channel for the HTTP adapter in the XI integration scenario, but how do I configure the XI integration scenario to send my app an IDOC when an inspection lot is created, and what IDOCs do I use?

I think you can use
IDOC TYPES : QALITY01, QALITY02
in XI you can create
IDOC to HTTP as a scenario
IDOC need to be triggered from SAP system and you can import the IDOC metadata into XI from SAP

Integration with EWM-Inspection lot not getting created

Hi,
Inspection lot not getting created after GR is done.
The scenario is Storage location is connected to external warehouse management,so after the GR is done in the legacy system via interface it is updated in ECC.so while checking the material document inpection lot is not created.
Can anyone please tell me the necesaary check points and integeration steps between WM and QM in this case .

Since you didn't say much, I assume you are creating stock into ECC via LSMW using 561 movement. Now to get inspection lot for these batches/ docs, you need to activate inspection type 05.
Go to material master QM view, assign and activate inspection type 05.
Additionally, create a respective inspection plan/ task list for the material(s) to carry out RR and get the consistent inspection lots.

Inspection lot qty printout

Dear all,
I have a requirement of a tag printing in which inspection lot details are being printed.
The Tag being printed every time of partial UD, here the problem in printing of the tag observed.
The tag contains the inspection lot cleared qty, but if lot qty is say 500 and user did partial ud of 100 qty first time 200 qty second time and 100 qty third time, I could not able to get the partial UD qty in QALS.
I need to print the tag as per the partial UD.
EX LOT qty 500 and i did partial ud say 100 so in QALS i dont get the qty for which i did partial UD.
system will add the value of the Partial ud as per the partial UD.
how to resolve the above problem, or i need to enter the partail UD in Z table. and pick the value as per the entry?

Inspection lot should automatically be updated

How Inspection lot should automatically be updated with the correct inspection plan and sample size upon GR ? is there any exit avialable?
As per my requirement the revision level should not be taken into account when selecting the
inspection plan. The start date of the inspection should basically be
used as a key date(i:e; current date) .how to implement this logic ?
i have found one exit for this QPAP0002.can anyone explain detail how to implement logic to my requirement?

check teh material master QM view there shoul be inspection with task list and automatic assignment shoul be there
1.create inspection plan(QP01) with mIC (QS21) assign for opeartion.
2.mantion usage in plan header as 5 goods recipt.
then when ever you get inspection lot for the materil the lot will release,
3.now your lot is in CRTD status do goto QA32 slect the lot click on change inspection lot or goto QA02.
clcik on tasklist specifications and clcik on button task/specification and move to clcik on sample tab then clcik on sample and save teh lot the staus will change from CRTD to REL.
if the plan plan is created after generating date of lot then you face problem of key date.
ok still if you are not getting then use your exit. there should be logic of picking the key date and pass it into start date get these datails fromQALS table

Unable to see Inspection lot stock tab in UD??? how to make it appear?

Some how i am getting three unexpected observation
1. Inspection lot stock tab in UD is not there.....how to make it appear so that i can do the quantity posting can be done.
For your information this is against good receipt & QA32 quantity to be posted is showing the qty correctly.....which means stk is in quality
2. In MMBE transaction i am not able to view batch & qty posting
3 In MB51 i can see the document details but qty is showing in unrestricted....which means stk in unrestricted which contractdory to my first statement.
Kindly let me know
1. How to make Inspection lot stock table available in UD
2 Any clue for 2 & 3 point if possible.

Problem is i am not getting Inspection lot stock tab in UD.......here this inspection lot is created due to good receipt (inspeciton type 01)

Inspection lot with 01 origin for stock transfer (Intra company STO)?

Hi Sap Gurus,
As per standard SAP configuration for 101 movement type, 08 is the inspection type used for stock transfers (Intra company STO). But, there is a requirement from business to use 01 for Intra STO. Is it possible to get an inspection lot with 01 origin while GR to the delivery created for Intra STO ( Stock transfer B/n plants from same company code)?.

Its STO Purchase order between two plants under same company code. System triggers movement type 101 with movement indicator B - Goods movement for Purchase order and Receipt indicator X - Stock transport order. Here system expects inspection lot origin 08 as per standard SAP configuration(OMJJ).
I just wanted to check, is it possible to get inspection lot from 01 origin for this type of stock transfers. If anyone who worked on this area, please share your inputs.

My process is Like this, in production Order Out of ten operation eight operation are subcontracting Process.I am getting inspection Lot for this eight operation by maintaining inspection type 0130.But i am not getting inspection lot for inhouse operation by maintaining inspection type 03 also.So Please tell me what setting i have to do to get inspection Lot for inhouse operations.

Hi Mohammed,
Check Inspection type maintained in Material master, it must be checked for "active". If it is active then system will create inspection lot as soon as you release your order.

Inspection lot problem?

I have a requirement when a purchase order items are being direct shipped to customer it creates an inspection lot that requires qa personnel to close out.
I identify process to eliminate inspection lots for DS purchase orders - if(EKPO-PSTYP = 5 - item category), then blank the stock type field (EKPO-INSMK) before saving.
I did above programming in one of user exit and created a po. The EKPO table does have a blank insmk entry.
During the creation of MB01 Good Receipts, it creates inspection lot. I do not want to create inspection lot.
Any idea?

I dont understand your answer.
Of course is a goods receipt that is not necessary for a process extra work and costs some hours during a year.
and if a wrong process causes extra inspection lots, that are not necessary, then this creates even more workhours and costs and adds no value to the process
What I want to say is: you do not need a goods receipt, and wihtout a goods receipt you do not get inspection lots.
So nobody needs to spend 100 hours.
Why do you do goods receipts?

Inspection lot not creating

We have two - three inspection type . i.e need to be assigned in the material master .
which setting i need to adopt in the selection and the prefered inspection type ?
if we have multiple inspection plan for a single material , is it possible to create inspection lot automatically ?
Right now i am not getting any inspection lot , what will be possible trouble shooting ?

If you have maintained inspection type of different origin in the material master you need tick any of the preferred indicators. for 01, 08 inspection lot is created automaticaly. if the inspection type are of same origin like , 01, 0101, 0102 etc the prefered indicator is used

Inspection lot with stock tab for sale return from customer.

In our organization there are two scenarios,
1)     Make to order- Strategy group -20
2)     Make to stock- Strategy group -10
I have maintained 05 inspection types in QM view for sale return inspection from customer.
1) In make to order scenario Inspection lot created with inspection stock tab which is OK.
2) But in make stock scenario no inspection lot is generated.
    Remember I donu2019t want inspection lot without inspection stock tab as per insp. type-06
So please suggest me, what can I do for getting inspection lot with stock tab for make to stock scenario.

08 - STOCK TRANSFER INSPECTION LOT

Here i have the one busines requirement one of my product i sent to one plant to another plant means i am following STO process GI for sending plant and GR for Receipt Plant my query is i activated inspection type 01 & 08 in receipt plant i am expecting lot will be create in 01 but i am getting inspection lot 08 what steps i missed in config level can any body know kindly suggest me

when u go for the STO,
u need to create a STO Purchase order. when u r using 301 ({Plant to Plant ) than system check the inspection type assigned in OMJJ along with useful indicators.
WHen u go for this the inspection type will be 08 , if this inspection type activated in your material master than lot will come.
in MM its a two step transfer posting.
