Read/Unread Emails on Mobile and Desktop

Hello,
I am trying to set up my account on exchange online, I have purchased Plan 1.
How do I set it up so that when I receive a message and open it on my desktop, it shows as read on my BB device, and vice-versa?
I used to have an exchange account that linked my BB and desktop so that I could open a email on either one, and the message would be seen as read on another. It gets too confusing having the same email shown as unread.
Can anyone help me out?

And I guess it’s a synchronization issue. We can check the email status through OWA: if the email keeps read status, mobile device cannot sync with mailbox and we can refer to the following article to troubleshooting:

When I frequently switching between mobile and desktop view I have to open the layers every time since they get closed/collapsed. Adobe may need to fix it for the next version.

You can use CTRL+# to switch between Code and Design View.

Project setup for a mobile and desktop application including native extensions (ANE)?

I'm using Flash Builder 4.6 and I want to develop an application that is deployed to mobile and desktop devices. Therefore I tried a setup with three projects; one desktop project for Windows and Mac OSX, one mobile project for iOS and Android and also one library project for shared resources. The library project is used in the mobile and desktop project. Afterwards I placed all stuff like AS classes and UI components in the library project and instanciate them in the devices project. This works so far. (As consensus decision-making I used Flex components that are available vor mobile and desktop.)
But If I want to use native extensions (ANE) like a DLL for Windows or a gyroscop for mobile devices, then I can't add the ANE to the library project. I have to add the ANE file separately to each device project and build a separate UI components. Is this the way it's intend to use ANE files? Is there an even simpler approach?
Or is there a completly different way, e.g. setup just one common project (instead of three) and use different skins for mobile and desktop?
Your answer is appreciated. (Including links to documentation and tutorials.)

Read/Unread Email

I have just been abroad to another country and avoided opening any of my emails until returning home. I then opened each one but have been left with an "unread email" notification on my home screen that i cannot get rid of. I have deleted all of my emails in the hope that it would go but it is still there...
Does anyone know how i can get rid of it?

It means that KB does not apply to your situation. Honestly, most folks find the errant message by going through all of the folders...there are tons of folders to go through and it takes quite a while to do so...and is very tedious, having to go back and forth through the BBKey > View Folders command over and over again (without, I might add, losign ones place while doing so!).
Perhaps it is something else? Can you provide a detailed description of exactly what the unread indicator looks like?

How can I change the colours for read/unread emails on a Samsung S6?

The only difference between the colours for read and unread emails on a Samsung S6 is a very pale grey versus white background. Is it possible to change these colours, or font colours, so that the difference between the read and unread emails is more obvious?

Hm, I belive it has nothing to do with phone, most likely it's the email application that handles settings. You need to fire your email application and check the settings. Unfortunately at least in GMail app there is no way to change the theme, you might want to look for other email clients that offer customisable themes or simply more themes to select from. Appologies that I don't have any recommndations to make

What's the difference between StageWebView in an AIR mobile and
AIR desktop app? (AIR 3.9 SDK)
I have the problem that in a StageWebView related feature is working and on mobile but not on desktop AIR apps.
The feature lets users login into a website and post to the forum - on mobile it seems that the cookie/session is not found.
What could be the reason for that?

I would recommend against using useNative = true in Windows, because that means the behaviour and presentation of the page is very unpredictable, since the user can have pretty much any version of IE from 6 to 11 and beyond. That's more than a decade worth of different (and some really old and buggy) versions of Internet Explorer. The embedded WebKit in AIR could use an update (it's a bit old), but it's still a lot better than the wild territory of native IE ;-). I'm glad the AIR team listened to us and in AIR 3.9 they gave us back the option to not use native IE in Windows (in some of the previous versions, such as AIR 3.6, 3.7 and 3.8, only the IE engine was available to StageWebView, which forced me to use AIR 3.5 for Windows versions of my application, since the IE engine provided all sorts of problems).
Anyway, I don't understand your post very well. First you say "is working and on mobile but not on desktop AIR apps". From that I get that your page is working on mobile but doesn't work properly on desktop, but then you say "on mobile it seems that the cookie/session is not found". That contradicts the other sentence, since now you're saying it doesn't work properly on mobile.
Which one is true?

Read In Email, parsing Attachments and converting them to PDF

Dear Forum,
When an email arrives, I want to check wether there are attachments present in this email. When there are .GIF, .PNG or .TIFF files attached, I want to convert them to a PDF.
Does anybody knows how to do one of these steps in Java?

In your JavaMail download there is a directory containing examples of JavaMail code. One of those examples covers your first question.
And the second question ("How do I convert a GIF file to PDF?") isn't a question about JavaMail.

If you go to Settings>Notification Centre>Mail each of your email accounts will appear here separately. You can then change if Badges are displaye on the Mail App - which will show you the number of emails - or not.

Hi,
I have developed an application for computer. (desktop interface) but I would like to add a mobile interface, do I recreate all the pages manually or can I copy my old pages and change a setting to make mobile interface ?

If you want to add pages using mobile JQuery interface in same application, then click on 'Edit Application Properties' -> Go to 'User Interfaces' tab -> Go to User Interface section -> click on 'Add User Interface' button-> Choose 'jQuery Mobile Smartphone' as Type -> Select theme and then Create. After that copy the page in this way, select 'New Page as a copy' from Create button and select 'Page in this application' option and choose 'jQuery Mobile Smartphone' as User interface.
If you want to create new mobile application, then Create a application using mobile JQuery interface. From this application edit the home page and select 'New Page as a copy' from Create button and select 'Page in another application' option and copy the page from your desktop application. Choose the Templates carefully for mobile application.
Note: you can't copy the page which is using IR report to mobile application.
Also you can refer the packaged applications (Sample Database Application) in APEX which is using both Desktop, jQuery Mobile Smartphone user interfaces. so install the packaged applications in your workspace and check.

When I am signed in to my desktop and mobile I dont get a notification on my phone.
If I leave my login on my desktop then go out I do not get any notification sounds.

Yes, that is possible only if all the apps are accessing internet and get the data.(if you want to store something locally, then you have to write additional logic to sync data with the SQL lite of the mobile/desktop and the web server).
In our project, we create a librarry which has all the UI component, then we added this library to the desktop project & Web project and import the components. There is a little work if you want to do a mobile project as the views are completely different when compared to the desktop or web. To conclude, Yes, it is possible to use the same code for all the platforms! Hope this helps.

I have followed the directions, but on both the mobile and desktop the 3 line code that it says to enter into the other device is already filled in and I can't enter either device's code on the other. How do I get around this?

I can't get any further on either device than "Add a Device".
The code in the 3 little windows is uneditable on on either device. Both the computer and the phone say "Then enter this code:" but neither one will let me enter anything.

Sounds like it's hardware issue. The iPhone warranty is based in the original country of purchase. Since it was bought in Korea you will need to ship the phone to someone you know in Korea to be taken in and then they will have to ship it back to you. The cost of shipping will be at your expense.

Publishing mobile and desktop applications - Android APP

I successfully published an .apk to my android phone, but in the message "The APK was was successfully packaged NOTE The application has been packaged with a shared runtime.
Then I get a message on my phone that I need to install Adobe Air on the phone,
instal, accept, success then select the app icon on the phone screen
app opens to correct page but the dimensions of the stage are small and the text where I have buttons is way too small to tap by finger. How can I make the stage responsive so I can pinch and make bigger?
The phone is a Samsung Galaxy exhibit screen size is only 3.5 x 2.5 inches approx.

I don't think it would be possible to do this much of personalization based on device through which a page is being accessed. We were also having similar kind of requirement wherein we need to display the data of a self service application page on to mobile device. As in mobile device number of fields that can be displayed in a good manner was very less so we developed a complete separate pages that were specially designed as per mobile device only.
