need help in extracting yellow color from red and green colors (RGB space).
before that, the B channel was set to zero.
can display RG and CMYK together (like Adobe Photoshop)?

Because it behaves differently depending on whether the phone is locked (in standby) or unlocked (in use) when the call comes in.

If you have the old phone, connect it to iTunes, right click on the device, and choose transfer purchases. If you no longer have the old phone, I don't believe there is a way to recover them, as they were on your original device.

Removing red and green grammar error lines in Adobe reader?

How do i remove the green and red lines in Adobe Reader?
They are spelling and grammatical errors, and they appear on printed documents?
Is it from Microsoft word that i converted it from, as i turned off grammatical and spelling errors from word options, proofing etc.
I don't want them on my printed material, so what would i go about doing?

The PDF document was created in microsoft word, also the parts that have the green or red wavy underlines, are imported from Powerpoint.
Is there a way to remove these red and green lines without having to edit the powerpoint parts eg instead of going into power point making the changes and then bringing them into word again.
So if they could be removed from the word document alone.

Well, the raw footage is an avi filmed with a handycam. This error occurred
the next day after I finished the editing in Adobe Premiere cs5. It might
be something wrong with the title graphics that I use, but still if there's
a solution I would like to find it out as this error occurred before.

Attempt to play video in timeline causes red and green lines in Canvas

Hi!
When I hit the spacebar in FCP's timeline to play, sometimes I get red and green lines in the Canvas (looks like some wierd color digital interference). If I then hit the spacebar again, the audio will play, but with the same red & green lines. If I then hit it a third time, my video will play fine.
What the heck? Any ideas? This only happens every once in a while.

To be sure you'll need to include some more details, what version of FCP, and your current sequence settings, but I think I could make an honest assessment, right now. Make a note of your sequence settings, then trash your preferences, but make sure that you close final cut, also once preferences are trashed you'll lose sequence settings, and window configurations if you haven't saved them. So be sure to back them up, before trashing preferences.
You can find preference by following these commands:
1.type shift command h - this opens up your home directory
2.open the Library folder //----SPECIAL NOTE Be very careful in this folder do not move or delete any folders in here.----\\
3.open the Preference folder //----SPECIAL NOTE Be very careful in this folder do not move or delete any folders in here.----\\
Now find and delete these 4 files:
1.com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist
Navigate to the Final Cut Pro User Data inside the Preference folder and delete the three remaining Final Cut Prefs Files They are as follows:
2.Final Cut Pro 5.0 Prefs //*This may be 3, or 6 depending on your FCP version.
3.Final Cut Pro Obj Cache
4.Final Cut Pro Prof Cache
Remember do not trash any folders period, nor move anything, delete on those 4 files, and remember once you delete them make sure you trash them from the drive, go to trash empty trash. You'll have to reconfigure any unsaved layout workspaces and system sequence settings.
This Clean system should be done once a year, but only if you notice FCP having problems.

Playbook displaying my photos:- washed-out, reds and greens look faded,

Hello x Im new here just got my Playbook
Can anyone help with this.
Two weeks ago I bought a Blackberry Playbook from Simply Electronics over the internet simplyelectronics.net. The website was in english money, union jack icons plus english phone number. I phoned customer services about an issue just to check the firm out, then went ahead with my purchase and received it in four working days.
I have since found out, like many other people who ordered from them, that Simply Electronics is in some other country - I do not know if it's China or U.S.A. I would never have known if I had not looked them up on the net for reviews. They seem to have changed their website now to American dollars.
That is not the essential problem though, this is:-
The Blackberry Playbook, though superb, slick and working fine in all ways, has a problem with displayment of colour photographs. The colour is washed out, particularly reds and greens. Photos which look vibrant on my Sony Xperia phone and on my computer, look very jaded on this tablet, although the resolution and clarity is superb. It's not just the saturation that is poor. There is a colour bias.
I am a photographer and I primarily got this tablet specifically for showing photos to people (taken with my Canon SLR camera and my Sony cameraphone). It is now gutting for me to see the vibrant reds coming up as a burnt orange or browney red. Grass looks washed out and not lush as it was in the photo.
I do believe there is a fault with this Playbook.
Do you know if this is a known problem or issue with the Blackberry Playbook or with Tablets in general. Do you know what I could do about it? Do you know how I could get in touch with Blackberry to tell them about it.
Returning it to SimplyElectronics if they are in another country would be expensive and I may just get another Playbook with the same or a different fault - too much hassle.
I do not know what my best course of action would be. Can you help.
The fact I got the Blackberry Playbook for £204 postage free, is some consolation as it's a good item with no other flaws, but when I see my photos on the screen, the colour problem seems too big a deviation from normal to be satisfied with it.
What can you advise. Is this colour wash-out a common thing. How do I contact Blackberry?

I don't know have this issue with pictures and images. The color rendition is superb. It is not a general fault of the Playbook.. there could be some issue with the one you have.
First, try a reset of the Playbook. Press and hold the Power key, up and down volume (-/+) all three buttons simultaneously, for about 10-12 seconds. You should the red LED blink and that should allow a reset of the PlayBook and to power up. Afterwards, do the images appear any better?

Operating system, Windows or Mac?
Which version of Elements?
What happens when you open a picture file in another application?
Have you edited there picture files?
What are the file types that you opening, JPEG, PSD, TIFF, PDF?
Go to Image Menu in Editor>Mode. Is RGB Color ticked?
Anything else that you tell us?

Display red and green

My ipod display is in shades of red and green. Has anybody come across this before.
I have upgraded the software from itunes, but no difference.

If restoring to factory defaults/new iPod does not solve the problem then you likely have a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

After upgrading to 6.1.3 battery drains fast. Moreover initial charging takes more time to change battery indicator from red to green. any solution ?

Hi Lieu.
The system automatically sets the status for the load to incorrect if the waiting time is exceeded. The load will still be running even though it might look incorrect, and that is why it turns green when it is complete (and everything is correct).
You can set the waiting time if you go to the monitor -> choose a request -> settings -> waiting time up to status incorrect (ctrl + F9).

Battery changes from red to green

The iPod Photo battery sometimes changes from red to green or green to red is something wrong with the battery. Some times it shows full then a minute later its red.

Also,
If you have used your iPod extensively and it has gone through many partial charge cycles without being completely run down then charged completely (more than 5 hours), your battery status indicator could require calibration.
This has happened with my iPod mini (the battery would appear almost full then almost empty after a minute). To re-calibrate the indicator, just run your iPod down completely (where it shuts down on its own), then charge it completely (5 or 6 hours). This seems to work, and Apple used to recommend doing it every 30 charge cycles or so (not sure if they still do).

I tried to activate my new iphone 5 through itunes without a sim card, and my mac air crashed. red and green lights were both flashing but I can't get the computer to power on

I purchased a used iphone 5 on ebay which a.) had no sim card, and b.) still had a passlock code. tried to activeat the phone via itunesbut as soon as I plugged the phone into the mac, the red and green lights began flashing the the computer then shut down, and will not power back up. Any suggestions??

Return the defective phone to the seller, and hope that it didn't burn out your logic board. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to find out whether it did.

Qosmio F30-117 - Display issues - red and green lines

Hi there,
I have a qosmio F30-117 and up to recently, I was delighted with everything about it.
Then, mid session, the graphics began to deteriorate, which a reboot fixed.
Then a few days later, it did it again and this time when I rebooted it came up with a corrupted display, lots of aa's all over the place then lines of red and green all over.
Managed to get in by selecting safe mode with networking and got a desktop although still with the red and green lines all over it.
Now its gotten worse still, when I boot up the laptop screen itself is blank, its getting something because it isnt totally black like it is when its powered off, but its blank.
As a check I connected an external monitor and managed to get in again to safe mode with networking, but its still very bad, and still has the red and green lines all over.
I started to have a look around on the good old www and there are numerous posters and articles with problems, and lots mentioning the red and green lines etc...
so Im not alone, but no-one seems to know exactly what it is.
Some have mentioned Toshiba acknowledging this as a problem and doing repairs even if out of warranty.
So, any ideas, any advice, and does anyone know if Tosh have indeed accepted the problem and offering any help??

I think it's a common problem in the Qosmio F30 models. After long term use, the soldering balls under the GPU chipset start to melt down because of the over heat and the bad soldering quality that was used with the F30 model that cannot resist high temperature. Now you have to replace the motherboard, since the GPU is build within the motherboard.
However, there is another two solution for this problem and cost less money amount:
1- do what is called a "heat reflow" for the VGA chipset: to do this you have to take the motherboard out and heat the VGA chipset on the motherboard with a heat gun or you can bake it in the oven for a few minutes at low temp, this will make the soldering balls melt and go back to there right position. However, you need to keep in mind that this solution is temporary and will last maybe for month then you have to do it again and again till you ruin the GPU and then the only solution will be to buy another motherboard. So I don't recommend that you do that at all, but if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a new motherboard this will help you to recover your data, even though there is more easier solution to do the recovery.
Anyways, you can go to youtube and search the term "VGA heat reflow " to see how people do it.
2- send your motherboard to a repairing service that can do what is called reballing: what they do is that they will replace the soldering balls under the VGA chipset with new ones that can resist high temp. and this solution is permanent and even in the future you don't have to worry that the same problem will happen again since the new soldering balls can take high temp change. I do recommend this solution even more than buying a motherboard, since the motherboard that you will get will generate the same problem after few years.
you can find this type of repair service online if you googled the term "VGA reball repair" or you can find it on ebay
If you decided to replace the motherboard I think you will not be able to find a new one, and in case you found one it will be more expensive than a new laptop, but still you can find used motherboard for your qosmio on ebay or online. so you need to do a search and find out what fits your budget or maybe it's better to buy a new laptop.
