Reader 11.02 MUI.  Where is the MSI file?

I can't find any method of getting the msi file with the MUI version.
I have already tried starting an installation and checking the the programdata folder and I also tried extracting the setup.exe with 7Zip.  Neither worked.
Where is the msi deployment files for the MUI version?

MUI info:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/basics.html#multilanguage-ins tallers
List of available installers: http://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotes/11/11.0.02.html#elevenzeroz erotwo
. . . Because there isn't an MSI for security updates. Install 11.0.01 MUI and then 11.0.02.

Ben

i am trying to install itunes 10.5 but I get an error message that says "click ok to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package iTunes.msi..." I try to point iTunes to the .msi file on my c drive but then it gives me  a message says "the file location is not a valid installation packaage for the product iTuness.  Try to find the installation package 'itunes.msi' in a folder from which you can install iTunes".  Any help, insight, guidance would be greatly appreciated!!

"The feature you are trying to use in on a network resource that is unavailable. Enter alternate path to a folder containing the installation package itunes64.msi".
Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

They are all stored in the iPhoto Library.  You would need to examine its contents to see them separately (outside of iPhoto).

  • Downloading youtube with safari - Where's the large file?

Two recent problems that never occurred before.  When the Youtube is playing and I look at Activity, it used to be obvious which was the large file that I was supposed to click on --- they were all in kb's except for one giant one, in MB's, that stuck out like a sore thumb.  Now, there is no giant one.  So I clicked on one of the small kb files, and it downloaded as an flv file, which I can't use.  This is new...previously, a useable format downloaded.  So, I am guessing that once I solve the "where is the giant one" problem, I will need some kind of flv converter.  Thus, my 2 questions are:  (1) Where is the giant file?  (2) Suggestions for an FLV converter.  Thank you.  I'm running Lion. - Robert

  • Where is the ringtone file in iTunes?

Where is the ringtone file in iTunes?  I am trying to download some ringtones in there.  The website says to save the sound file to the ringtone file in itunes so when I sync I can transfer it over to my iphone

iTunes>Preferences>General>Show>Tones...make sure Tones is checked. If you can't see the sidebar: iTunes>View>Show Sidebar.
If the ringtone has the proper extension: m4r, simply dropping it on the iTunes app logo will put it in the proper location.

How can I update Dreamweaver 8  to 8.0.2 if I don't have the  .MSI file?  I have moved this old copy to newer computer/operating system and don't have all the original discs and things.

And you can move an installed application if you move a few other files manually and without getting into the registry.
I'm very skeptical about that as I have dozens of Registry entries associated with my older DW installation.
Still trying to assist anyway. Check this thread for a reported successful resolution
    https://forums.adobe.com/message/4215502
    Also try this:
Download the unwrapped 8.0.2 update from Adobe: http://kb2.adobe.com/support/dreamweaver/ts/documents/kb400150/DW802_unwrapped.zip
Extract the files into a root directory. There should be only one MSI file.
Open an administrator privilaged command prompt by typing in the Start menu "Command" and right clicking the "Command Prompt" option and selecting "Run as Administrator"
Navigate to the directory you extracted the files to using the CD command
Once in the directory with the MSI file run the following command: msiexec /update patchpackage.msp
Step through the installer, and everything should be fine, open Dream Weaver and go to Help -> About to verify the patch installed.

  • How to upload words, exel, PDF file from the pc via itune to the iPad, and where will the uploaded file be saved? In the apps?

How to upload words, exel, PDF file from the pc via itune to the iPad, and where will the uploaded file be saved? In the apps?

You will need an app (or apps) on your iPad that is capable of reading the documents, as they will be saved with the app - if you don't have such an app then there is nothing to transfer them to or to read/access them.
One method of transferring them is toconnect your iPad to your computer's iTunes, select it's app tab, and then scroll to the bottom of it - you should the apps That you've got that are capable of file-sharing (if you've got any).  Selecting/high-lighting one of them should then allow you to add files to it via the box to the right of it.
An alternative way to get the documents onto your iPad is if the app that you want to transfer them to has a wifi setting, which will then allow you to transfer the documents wirelessly. You can also send the documents to yourself as attachments and then use Mail's 'open in' facility to copy them into your chosen app.
Edit : more info on file sharing from the manual :
File Sharing lets you transfer files between iPad and your computer. You can share files created with a compatible app and saved in a supported format.
Apps that support file sharing appear in the File Sharing Apps list in iTunes. For each app, the Files list shows the documents that are on iPad. See the app’s documentation for how it shares files; not all apps support this feature.
    Connect iPad to your computer.
In iTunes, select iPad in the Devices list, then click Apps at the top of the screen.
In the File Sharing section, select an app from the list on the left.
On the right, select the file you want to transfer, then click “Save to” and choose a destination on your computer.
Transfer a file from your computer to iPad:
    Connect iPad to your computer.
In iTunes, select iPad in the Devices list, then click Apps at the top of the screen.
In the File Sharing section, click Add.
Select a file, then click Choose (Mac) or OK (PC).
The file is transferred to your device and can be opened using an app that supports that file type. To transfer more than one file, select each additional file.
Delete a file from iPad: Select the file in the Files list, then tap Delete.

Stickies, where is the backup file?
I saved some u/n and p/w data in stickies on my older bronze (which I now need) and reformatted the disk when attempting to install OSX (which failed time and time again), but I'm hoping that I saved the Stickies data somewhere on a cd backup? I can only hope, but ran out of places to look ... any suggestions? Where is stickies data stored? ..... and where and how does everyone else store passwords and usernames and such?

    Hi, Dennis -
One way to handle spam is to use an email service provider which allows the generation of alias email addresses. One such is Apple's .Mac service - the email service provided as part of a .Mac account includes the option of creating as many aliases to the real account address as one wishes.
An aliased email address can be given or posted where needed, and any mail sent to it ends up in the 'real' account. Once the alias address starts drawing excessive spam, the alias can be discarded.

  • How to install the msi file for tax return

i am having problem installing the msi file.

The short answer is that they don't support anything but Windows.
    http://www.ato.gov.au/individuals/content.aspx?doc=/content/73931.htm
You would have to use Bootcamp and install Windows or install an emulator like Parallels and then install Windows into the Parallels emulator.
It probably won't do any good but you could file a complaint with them over their choice to only support Windows.

  • Where is the data file for the address book located, I need to restore mine from backup but don't know where it is.

Where is the data file for the address book located, I need to restore mine from backup but don't know where it is to do so.  Putting my Mac Pro onto icloud synching contacts resulted in duplicate and triplicates of the same cards.  I have a few THOUSAND contacts and the last time this happened was on mobile me.  that had a function where you could replace info on the mobile me server with info on the computer.  I see no way to do that on the new cloud.

In the stupidly hidden user's Library->/Application Support/AddressBook/ labeled as AddressBook-v22.abcddb
For TM restores, see Pondini's TM FAQs for starters, since I don't use TM.
