Reader &Acrobat CAB for SCUP does not contain update info

The Adobe Reader and Acrobat CAB files for use with SCUP, Patch Manager and WSUS does not contain any pre-requisite information.  It also removes pre-requisite information from Adobe updates that have already been published to a WSUS server - thus halting all Adobe Reader and Acrobat updates.  When is the CAB file going to be updated ?

    Any help here?

    Ok this is becoming very very frustrating as I have been at this for hours now. So the only way to explain this is to write what I did step by step as I have to be doing something wrong, just to recap:
    I was publishing from Flash CC 2014 using AIR 14.0 and getting Digital Certificate is not valid message.
    Was instructed to download new AIR 17 , I did this installed into Flash and used to publish.
    I used my previous p12, app ID and distribution certificates all generated properly.
    The file worked ONCE but I got an app ID error ( I understood I used the wrong app ID)
    I changed it to the right app ID and the very next time and after 10 attempts I got the same error  Digital Certificate is not valid
    SO I then downloaded AIR 16.0
    RE DID ALL MY CERTIFICATES AND P12'S
    went to publish and I STILL GET THE SAME MESSAGE   Digital Certificate is not valid

  • Imac-- Upgrading elements 10 to elements 12. Did successful backup of 10.  When restore to 12 message said the disk in drive My Passport for Mac does not contain a valid backup

    IIMac      doing upgrade of Elements 10 to Elementys 12.  Did full backup of 10 on my external hard drive "MY Passport".  Rec'd message backup successful.  Did restore on 12 and rec'd message "The disk in drive My Passport for Mac does not contain a valid backup".  Any help suggestions?

    The funniest part of the whole situation, Apple Care explained it to me as some kind of feature. The told me how to adjust the time when my computer sleeps and recommend I don't shut it down, let it sleep and "instant wake". I would bet if you called them about your Macbook, they would suggest you just close the lid and let it sleep rather than shutting it down.
    Basically shutdown and restart have a problem and the solution is to not shutdown is how they explained it to me. They kept saying buzz words like "instant on" and "fast wakeup". My computer already could sleep and wakeup fast, but now shutdown and restart don't work right. I called them 3 times about it, but since they use these buzzwords, sounds like Lion is meant for a Macbook Air or a Mac with an SSD. If you have a normal hard disk, some of the saving/versions/resume features take too long to be written to the disk on shutdown. And when you start again, it takes a long time to reload the system to it's previous point.
    Even if I uncheck the box to reopen windows on next start, it reopens them anyways.
    If they can't give me a better explaination or some kind of fix, I will have to go back to Snow Leopard. I use my Mac in a production environment and depend on stability. They assured me before I upgraded that it would be stable and all the new saving and versions features could help my productivity. So far it's not helping me and downright annoying. You need to close all your windows before you close the program... if you have 5 windows open in terminal or textedit... every time you launch, they will launch all those windows. I just really want versions, not resume it seems.
    But I can deal with it opening a million windows, just can't take it getting stuck on booting or not shutting down properly. This is a "feature" that should be fixed. LOL

  • OO3.3 SP1 Patch-ID 146564 for MacOSX does not contain dmg

    Hello,
    I've downloaded and extracted the Oracle Open Office 3.3 Service Pack 1 (MacOSX, Multilanguage), Patch-ID 146564-01, several times from different machines (Mac OSX and Win7), but I only get the readme files. It seems there is no dmg packaged. The .zip-file is 41k only, instead of 21MB.
    Is there a issue with the package?
    thanks
    Christoph

    The correct file is now online. I think they (whomever that may be) realized shortly after the initial release that they had forgotten the dmg and built the proper zip on May 14 but forgot to link it properly.

  • Acrobat 7.0.7 does not install/update Acrobat 9 Pro Extended

    RE: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/911307
    The original question was never answered. I have the same problem being an owner of Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. The solution presented only addresses Acrobat X and the E Learning suites.
    I cannot use Adobe Presenter due to the Internet Explorer 9 incompatability issue.
    JP

    Hi,
    I want to mention that Adobe Presenter 7.0.7 work fine with IE9.
    Acrobat 9 might behave bit differently. Please try following steps:-
    Uninstall Presenter 7.0.6.
    Download the installer of Presenter 7.0.7 from Adobe website and install in trial mode
    Go to  (<drive>\Program Files\Adobe\Presenter 7) and go inside AMT folder  Rename AdobeConfig.xml and application.sif files
    Relaunch Presenter
    Presenter installer will sniff the system for a valid Acrobat 9 Pro Extended license and will automatically get activated

    newest is AIR 14.0.0.178 for IOS
    1) It's outdated version of AIR. Go to Download Adobe AIR 17 Beta - Adobe Labs and download Download AIR SDK & Compiler for Mac OS X or Download AIR SDK & Compiler for Windows
    2) Extract it somewhere so this folder will not be removed
    3) Open Flash CC and go to Help > Manage Adobe AIR SDK... and setup path for extracted from step 2 you new AIR SDK. At moment of this message it's 17.0.0.96
    4) Use only latest AIR SDK from labs (step1) or from release page Download Adobe AIR SDK (i suggest to use beta because it's ok).
    You can't upload anything to the AppStore using AIR version less than 16.x
    And now you can compile your IPA and upload it directly to Application Loader.
    Don't unpack or modify ipa. Load ipa that was generated from Flash CC directly.

  • Error 1074395241: The template descriptor does not contain data required for rotation-invariant matching.

    Hello all,
    I am using the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 to detect the rotation angle of a template image. However, it shows the error: "Error 1074395241: The template descriptor does not contain data required for rotation-invariant matching." What is the problem exactly? How to solve this? The details are explained below.
    My project is a little bit complicated. Part of the block diagram containing the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 is shown below:
    The source image is a series of frames of images read from an AVI video (I used a for loop to process the images frame by frame). The template image is a selected region of the first frame. So it means, the user selected the object of ineterst in the first frame of the video, and in each of the following frames, we need to find the matched object of interest & determine its rotation angle. When I run the block diagram shown above, it does not have any error. However, it shows the rotation angle as zero no matter what it "really" is. Therefore, I changed the block diagram by adding the parameters, shown below:
    But in this case, when I run it, it shows the error that I have indicated in the subject line.
    If you need more details about my project to identify the problem, please let me know.
    Thanks in advance.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    -Please go through pattern matching example which comes along with labview fiirst
    Go to labview Help>>Find Examples and you can search for example.
    -You have create template with angle range and what type of pattern matching you want use.
    -For this you have to use IMAQ Learn Pattern before using IMAQ Match Pattern 4
    Refer :http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370281U-01/imaqvision/imaq_match_pattern_4/

  • Does not contain a static 'Main' method suitable for an entry point_

    Hello
    I want to to do a project with Entiity Framework . I add a project to my solution for my domain class and it's name is 'LinkModel.DomainClasses'.  when I prees F5 there is an error like bellow.
    Could You help me to solve this? thanks alot
    ..\Documents\Training\LinkCodeFirstLast\LinkCodeFirst\LinkCodeFirst\LinkModel.DomainClasses\obj\Debug\LinkModel.DomainClasses.exe'
    does not contain a static 'Main' method suitable for an entry point

    Hi bkshn,
    This error is caused by the missing "Main" method in your project. it is the entry point of your project.
    If you want to create a EF project, you could follow the way in the aricle below.
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/data/ee712907#codefirst
    The Main method is like below.
    class Program
    static void Main(string[] args)
    using (var db = new BloggingContext())
    // Create and save a new Blog
    Console.Write("Enter a name for a new Blog: ");
    var name = Console.ReadLine();
    var blog = new Blog { Name = name };
    db.Blogs.Add(blog);
    db.SaveChanges();
    // Display all Blogs from the database
    var query = from b in db.Blogs
    orderby b.Name
    select b;
    Console.WriteLine("All blogs in the database:");
    foreach (var item in query)
    Console.WriteLine(item.Name);
    Console.WriteLine("Press any key to exit...");
    Console.ReadKey();
    And you could start to learn the EF from the following MSDN blogs.
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/data/ee712907
    If you have any other concern regarding this issue, please feel free to let me know.
    Best regards,

  • EWS/Services.wsdl does not contain a definition for ConnectingSID.ItemElementName in Exchange 2013

    We're using EWS (unmanaged) in a .NET app to access Exchange Server.  After moving from 2010 to a server with Exchange 2013 and updating the web reference, I get error messages stating ConnectingSIDType does not contain a definition
    for ItemElementName or PrimarySmtpAddress.
    If I point the ExchangeServiceBinding object url to the new server, but do NOT update the web reference to the new server, everything still works.   How do we fix this issue?  The 2010 Exchange server will go away within a few days.

    This is the 2010 version
    public partial class ConnectingSIDType {
    private string itemField;
    private ItemChoiceType itemElementNameField;
    /// <remarks/>
    [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlElementAttribute("PrimarySmtpAddress", typeof(string))]
    [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlElementAttribute("PrincipalName", typeof(string))]
    [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlElementAttribute("SID", typeof(string))]
    [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlElementAttribute("SmtpAddress", typeof(string))]
    [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlChoiceIdentifierAttribute("ItemElementName")]
    public string Item {
    get {
    return this.itemField;
    set {
    this.itemField = value;
    /// <remarks/>

    public ItemChoiceType ItemElementName {
    get {
    return this.itemElementNameField;
    set {
    this.itemElementNameField = value;
    2013 version
    public partial class ConnectingSIDType {
    private object itemField;
    /// <remarks/>
    [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlElementAttribute("PrimarySmtpAddress", typeof(PrimarySmtpAddressType))]
    [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlElementAttribute("PrincipalName", typeof(PrincipalNameType))]
    [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlElementAttribute("SID", typeof(SIDType))]
    [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlElementAttribute("SmtpAddress", typeof(SmtpAddressType))]
    public object Item {
    get {
    return this.itemField;
    set {
    this.itemField = value;
    And here is the impersonation code
    ExchangeImpersonationType impersonate = new ExchangeImpersonationType();
    impersonate.ConnectingSID = new ConnectingSIDType();
    impersonate.ConnectingSID.Item = _email;
    impersonate.ConnectingSID.ItemElementName = ItemChoiceType.PrimarySmtpAddress;
    this.ExchangeService.ExchangeImpersonation = impersonate;
    ConnectingSID.ItemElementName doesn't exist in the 2013 version.   Is there a different way to do impersonation without going to the managed API?

  • Help Solving: Does not contain a definition for 'Select'.....

    Hi,
    Need help solving a Task that returns a Task<IEnumerable<Writing>> so I can fill ObservableCollection<ViewModels.IWritingItemViewModel> Writings for my
    Design Time Data Page:
    <d:Page.DataContext>
    <designTimeData:MainPageViewModel />
    </d:Page.DataContext>
    My constructor does this:
    public MainPageViewModel()
    var writings = this.GetGroupsAsync();
    this.Writings = new ObservableCollection<ViewModels.IWritingItemViewModel>();
    var viewmodels = writings.Select((x, i) => new WritingItemViewModel
    Writing = x,
    VariableItemSize = (i == 0) ? Common.VariableItemSizes.Writings : Common.VariableItemSizes.Normal,
    My var writings = this.GetGroupsAsync(); is:
    public async Task<IEnumerable<Writing>> GetGroupsAsync()
    await this.GetMenuDataAsync();
    return this.Groups;
    which in turn gets data from:
    private async Task GetMenuDataAsync()
    Uri dataUri = new Uri("ms-appx:///DesignTimeData/MenuData.json");
    StorageFile file = await StorageFile.GetFileFromApplicationUriAsync(dataUri);
    string jsonText = await FileIO.ReadTextAsync(file);
    JsonObject jsonObject = JsonObject.Parse(jsonText);
    JsonArray jsonArray = jsonObject["Groups"].GetArray();
    foreach (JsonValue groupValue in jsonArray)
    JsonObject groupObject = groupValue.GetObject();
    Writing group = new Writing(
    groupObject["UniqueId"].GetString(),
    groupObject["IsHeaderInteractive"].GetBoolean(),
    groupObject["ViewType"].GetString(),
    groupObject["ModelType"].GetString(),
    groupObject["Page"].GetString(),
    groupObject["Title"].GetString(),
    groupObject["Subtitle"].GetString(),
    groupObject["ImagePath"].GetString(),
    groupObject["Description"].GetString(),
    groupObject["GroupId"].GetString()
    foreach (JsonValue itemValue in groupObject["WritingMenus"].GetArray())
    JsonObject itemObject = itemValue.GetObject();
    group.WritingMenus.Add(new WritingMenu(

    itemObject["Content"].GetString(),
    itemObject["WritingsId"].GetString(),
    itemObject["GroupId"].GetString(),
    Convert.ToInt32(itemObject["Item"].ValueType)
    this.Groups.Add(group);
    and I get this Error:

    public virtual ObservableCollection<WritingMenu> WritingMenus { get; private set; }
    How can I solve or successfully complete this code?
    Thanks!...
    Code is like a box of chocolates!...

    I looked into your error message again, I found something interesting:
    Error 5
    'System.Threading.Tasks.Task<System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<App1.DesignTimeData.Writing>>'
      does not contain a definition
    for 'Select'
    and no extension method
    'Select' accepting a first argument of type
      'System.Threading.Tasks.Task<System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<App1.DesignTimeData.Writing>>'
      could be found (are you missing a
    using directive or an assembly reference?)
    That means: Task does not contain the definition for Select. This was reasonable, Task does not inherit IEnumerable interface.
    var viewmodels = writings.Select((x, i) => new WritingItemViewModel
    Writing = x,
    VariableItemSize = (i == 0) ? Common.VariableItemSizes.Writings : Common.VariableItemSizes.Normal,
    public async Task<IEnumerable<Writing>> GetGroupsAsync()
    You need get the IEnumerable<Writing> for Select use. See this for more information:
    How to: Return a Value from a Task

  • PropertyInfo does not contain a definition for 'GetCustomAttribute' ?

    Hello,
    I inherited a .Net 4 Asp.net web application . I did a build and got the error below. According to MSDN, PropertyInfo doesn't have a GetCustomAttribute method. (It does have a
    GetCustomAttributes method). Am I missing a extension method? Or using wrong version of .net framework? Thanks, Peter
    xxx= property.GetCustomAttribute<JsonPropertyAttribute>();
    Error 1 'System.Reflection.PropertyInfo' does not contain a definition for 'GetCustomAttribute' and no extension method 'GetCustomAttribute' accepting a first argument of type 'System.Reflection.PropertyInfo' could be found (are you missing a using
    directive or an assembly reference?) C:\projects\DotNetDemo\WebSite\CreateIncident.aspx.cs 357

    I think that you need a “using System.Reflection” and the .NET 4.5:

  • Projectname.exe' does not contain a static 'Main' method suitable for an entry point .

    Please help me to figure this.
    Thank You!

    Go to your App.Xaml and R-Click Go to Properties

  • Solution for Windows Store app "projectname.exe" does not contain a static 'Main' method suitable for an entry point . Error.

    Hi,
    I'm developed a blog reader for windows 8 store app. It was perfectly worked before. But suddenly it started to miss behave and I got an
    error. No other errors were there other than that.
    Error
    Program c:\Users\.........\Desktop\Blog_Reader\Blog_Reader\obj\Release\intermediatexaml\Blog_Reader.exe' does not contain a static 'Main'
    method suitable for an entry point.
    C:\Users\..........\Desktop\Blog_Reader\Blog_Reader\CSC    Blog_Reader
    But I found the solution while I fixing it.
    Solution for that is like below.
    Go to your App.Xaml and Right-Click thenGo to Properties
    Check whether the Build Action is
    ApplicationDefinition
    If not change it to ApplicationDefinition.
    Clean the code (solution) and Deploy
    Now the error is fiexed.

  • SOLVED - BIOS UPDATE "SYSTEM DOES NOT CONTAIN the NECESSARY WMI SUPPORT for this VERSION of HPQflash

    If you get infamous error when updating HP Portables (laptops/notebooks/ netbooks) BIOS within Windows:
    "SYSTEM DOES NOT CONTAIN THE NECESSARY WMI SUPPORT FOR THIS VERSION OF HPQFLASH":
    I am posting a solution found for own business laptop (HP 8540W & 8760W) so WebSearch engines index/register it in a few days - future sufferers come here and get a SOLUTION, finally.  Disreagrd previous "experts" advises, they don't work 100% & pity on TechSupport folks who get HP paychecks yet don't know products their co. designs/manufactures (on deep Technical level):
    Below is a SOLUTION (WORKING) !
    Go into Services (Run "services.msc" or get there thru ControlPanel-->AdminTools-->), find following 2 services ==> make sure they're running, chances are they're NOT (as in my case I keep them disabled unless need running):
    1) "HP Software Framework"
    2) "HP Service" [no typo - a real plain name]
    If not running, set Properties-->Manual and click "Start", make sure both are running.
    Rerun BIOS updater, choose option for "Within Windows" or something to that effect (using HPQ/ROMpaq updater), rather than "create USB BootDisk on Key", this time it should work without the hassle of a BootDisk creation.
    Should work from within Windows environment.
    Notes:
    a) Likely only one (1) service is responsible - namely "HP Software Framework" for HPQ Updater to fail, but doesn't hurt to reenable/restart both services.
    I in fact am responding to other customers who elect to Update BIOS within Windows, perhaps oldfashioned but to me Boot Updater is more natural & always works regardless of WMI Support.
    b) After done, don't forget:
    *) Recheck BIOS settings - update may've added new and/or changed old, so rescan tobe sure.
    **) Go BACK into Windows-->Services.msc & redisable both aforementioned Services if were originally disabled; or you're a computer Pro, you know what you're doing & like me keep all HP services disabled.  The ones we got on EliteBook 8760W are pests consuming system resources, you just enable "Software Framework" when occasional issues emerge with HP softupdate (typically no issues) & redisable after use, rest of services are bloatware - some attempt to overrun Windows Wireless console, some seekout HP Networked printers (Ethernet, Wireless, but not USB), some do this & that - I study/know which one does what and decided to disable all. This is called a "minimalist" philosophy & turns your machine into a fast beast, I recently sold a very obsolete 4-year laptop which however handles 3DMCAD & complex designs/simulations, better new machines out fo a store, as new machines are loaded w/bloatware chocking down resources.
    BUT nobody is requiring you to disable anything though.
    The solution merely states the fact:
    These 2 (or 1) services when not running halt BIOS Update "within Windows" (you can still run "BootDisk option", however, if preferred).
    Simply restartung them solves your problem.  Usually
    Ya'll have a good day and enjoy!
    ===========
    BELOW ARE IMPORTANT WARNINGS:
    1) IF YOUR BIOS UPDATE STILL FAILS, SOME OTHER PIECE IN WMI SUPPORT IS MISSING - IN MY CASE WAS THESE 2 SERVICES, BUT THERE'S REMOTE POSSIBILITY SOMETHING ELSE MIGHT BLOCK UPDATER.  DON'T WASTE TIME & CHOOSE "USB/BootDisk" options instead
    2) Once BIOS updater does its job, will ask to auto-restart - let it go on & complete, it will self-shutdown (click "Next" to skip 60-second timer), then do NOT turn it on manually!, wait - it'll turn on by itself in 15 seconds, let it boot into Windows, you're done!
    3) WARNING: close other apps before proceeding, be 100% sure your ACpower won't be interrupted or better yet - make sure battery is in/charged (so if ACpower accidentally disconnects, you're autoswitched onto battery) b/c power loss may result in severe damage to internal hardware.  In the old days it'd result in fatal damage, these days powerloss would still result in a major repair (ROM chip corruption).
    So to summarize: those 2 services I specified, are often responsible for whether HPQ/ROMpaq will or won't run.
    Other causes possible, but I've not witnessed; and if so - choose BootDisk option.
