When i connect my iPhone to iTunes, it says i have to set up my iPhone, and wont allow me to sync any media i have already purchased on it. My phone is not new, so I dont understand? I'm not sure that recovery mode works when you have to trust the computer, but did you try it?

If that won't work, perhaps you can use Find my iPhone from a computer in your iCloud.com account to erase the device.

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone. -
Downloading iTunes changes all my icons to iTunes
When I download iTunes onto my computer (Windows 7) it changes all the icons on my desktop to iTunes and iTunes will not open at all. Help please!
Hiya Katrina! I might have accidentally made some progress on this one yesterday.
Every time I've seen it reported and I've tried to do some work on it, it has only affected one user account on the PC.
So ... it might be related to a damaged icon cache for the affected user account. (There's one of those for each different user account on the PC. This is what I accidentally learned yesterday while trying to research a fix for a slightly different problem.)
If that's what is going on, rebuilding the icon cache might get folks past it:

... Trouble is that that's all educated(?) guesswork/speculation, and the procedure looks a bit hairy. It's the sort of thing where I'd definitely be setting a System Restore Point for the system prior to giving it a go. -

actually it seems its not working on multiple instances of the same button.
nvm found out why,lol...it was because i ndidnt have an actual link associated with the other instances of the button....all good now:) -

Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Simply sync them back. -
When I open my internet and got to say the Macy's website and try to bring up all pages in the handbags dept, the screen goes black and it returns to the screen that has all my icons on it. Why?

Once Firefox 31 is installed it sees all PDF files as Firefox HTML files and changes all of the PDF icons to Firefox HTML icons. This change can not seem to be reversed without uninstalling Firefox.

Windows now thinks that the default file type for .pdf is Firfox HTML Document.
I can change which program opens .pdf files but I can't change the icon.

Let me explain further so that you can understand. In folder options / file types I can scroll thru and choose any file type / advanced and change the icon...every one of them except (now) .pdf. There is no advanced tab. Only the message about "restore" I mentioned before.
Firefox changed the file association for .pdf files and now I can't fix it.
And from another thread:
"Firefox 31 is not converting or renaming your files. All it is doing is registering with the Windows OS as an application that is able to open the files and Windows then changes the file's icons accordingly.
This should only occur if no other application has already registered your .pdf files."
Well I guess that's not true is it? -
Icon was changed to default icon when editting a node on JTree
I have a tree with icon on nodes. However, when I edit the node, the icon is changed to default icon.
I don't known how to write the treeCellEditor to fix that one.

Hi I am not that computer friendly but can follow clear instructions. However I have visited Microsoft technical help and what came up was to either fix windows file registry or clear or fix the icon cache, none of which was something I have done dare not make a mistake and the instructions weren't that clear. In the past I have never had a problem with Adobe but its just suddenly started. I am running windows 7, Internet Explorer and my laptop is a Pavilion HP g series. I would value any help please because I have to keep un installing and re installing when I want to use it. It hasn't changed the Word icons, just appears to be windows programmes and Internet Explorer. Many thanks.

Hi there, have you already tried the solutions in [[Recover lost or missing Bookmarks]]? If not please check it out. If those instructions don't work, we need to know if your bookmarks are still in a backup file.
Is it possible you ended up in a new profile when you updated? Did you get a message about your profile being in use? This case is also covered in that article.
If nothing helps let us know if your bookmarks are in a backup and what version you upgraded from and if you used the automatic update or if you installed a new version by hand. Also if you have any add-ons installed. -
Adobe reader app takes longer to launch after update, why?
After updating my adobe reader I have found that when every I try to launch the app it takes a significantly longer time to load then it used to. Is this the problem with the app itself or is it because I have updated my ipad to the newer ios system, ios 7?

You can find many other articles regarding the SD card problem by searching on the internet.
We will be investigating the problem.
To work around the problem in the meantime, could you copy some of the PDF files from your SD card to internal storage (e.g. /storage/emulated/0/...) and see if Adobe Reader can read from and write changes to PDF files on your internal storage. (It should work based on my limited testing. But please verify it.)
You can use any Android File Manager app to move/copy files. Samsung phones and tablets typically has "My Files" as the built-in File Manager.
Alternatively, you can transfer the PDF files to Acrobat.com (free cloud storage service) and access them from Adobe Reader.
Please let us know if any of the suggested approaches work for you.

I tried updating my apps, now they have all frozen and won't update, why?
I needed to date my apps, so I pushed update all so they started to update and now they have frozen.
Once one freezes the the others can't download. Usually a reset is all you need. Press and hold both the power and home buttons for 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds for your iPad to start by itself.
