Reader displays strange fonts in the application (documents not affected)

Hello all,
I am running the latest version of the Adobe Reader on Mac OS X Yosemite. When I open a portfolio file the application seems to use one of the fonts installed on my machine (specifically, it uses the Adventure Font). It appears normal when using the "layout" way of displaying the documents contained in the portfolio. See below:
However, when I switch do "documents" in the top bar ("Dateien" in german), it uses the adventure Font for the file name, its dates, size etc. It looks like this:
As you can see here, the font is also used for the table headings. Needless to say this is all kinds of terrible. It makes me want to punch the screen. Luckily, everything else appears normal.
Does anybody know how I can change this? It's been this way since I installed the program and opened the portfolio and I haven't so far been able to change this. I never chose this font on purpose...

This issue occurs with most of the PDFs that I open up. I am using the latest version of adobe reader on my windows based machine and it is a general PDF. I saw a similar post online stating that if you look at the fonts used in the document and it doesn't say (Embedded) next to it, then Adobe Reader will try to pull the font(s) from your computer and if it doesn't find that font then it will replace it which makes it look funny.

Download and read page 27 on creating and using Styles, which is done largely by example ie you make the text what you want then save it as a Style to be applied wherever you want in the document from the Styles Drawer.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I am having the exact same problem. MacForums has been helping me, and I called Apple. After trying everyone's suggestions, and Apple's, no success.
My App Store app still says "incomplete or damaged." There is even a circle with a line through it on the icon. Apple said reinstall my Snow Leopard upgrade disc (not my original Leopard disc) and then run the Combo Update (like your suggestion). Did not work. I also updated the software from "Software Update". Rebooted.
I think this started after I replaced my hard drive with a SSD and moved the hard drive to where the DVD was. I wonder if the person above who had the same problem also installed a SSD?
Anyway, anymore ideas? Even Apple is stumped.
(In answer to the other post above, my Quicktime works fine.)

Just did some more reading. I was going by the icon in the dock. When I checked in Finder, there it was, fixed and brand new!! Thanks, anyway.

you probably have an incomplete/corrupt download.
to confirm check the file size against the expected file size.
then re-download perhaps with a different browser.

Go into the delivery, output. Check if any output has been triggered for EDI. If yes, then select the output and click on 'Process details' (it is the button just after communication where you give the print name). It will display the Idoc number.

Though it is difficult to share all the config settings in this thread, what I will do is to put in a few steps which are general settings. Only a few things vary.
For EDI / ALE - Idoc the common settings are
a. The port should be enabled for sending and receiving the data thru Idocs. Usually basis does this.
b. Partner profile should be configured in WE20. Example if you are sending a sales order confirmation to ship to party then, You should set up a partner profile in WE20 for partner number in KU (Customer) folder. You can copy any of the existing customer. What you have to make sure is you have added the message type and the Basic Type in the outbound parameters of the partner in WE20. Also, you have to make sure that you are giving the output type and the process type as well.
This is same even when you are receiving the Idocs from customer. Say for example customer PO. However, instead of outbound, you will add all these details in inbound.
Similarly, if you are sending PO to your vendos, then, you have to make changes in folder for partner LS. There are so many other folders as well.
Check WE60/61 for the documentation for what is Basic types, Message types and segments. It is very important for you to know about these when you are dealing with Idocs. To start with, you can give Orders01 in Basic types in WE60 selection screen and read out the details.
c. Once the partner profile is set up, there is a table called VOE4. This is the table where you can maintain the customer cross reference for incoming idocs.
d. Output type should be set up for EDI trigger (Tcode NACE) . You can use the existing programs. You can Check BA00 which is normally set up for EDI trigger as well. You can try triggering that first. You may get some errors at first. But do not panic. Just read those errors and then search the form for errors. You will get to know the next step.
e. Once you have the above settings, I think you are pretty much ready for EDI... you can try these. If you get struck in between, the form is there to help you...

Application document not psted status 51 in ALE/IDOC

Hi Gurus/Experts;
Status number : 51 Application document not psted.
I have configured ALE for distributing material master data. On the outbound side the status of every Idoc is sucess. But on the inbound side some of them are red stating error.
Outbound Side :
we05 t-code.
03 success.
Inbound Side:
we02 t-code.
51 Error.
when I execute the we02 t-code and
Expand Status Record 51
am getting error like : Function module not allowed: AFS_RETAIL_ARTMAS_IDOC_INPUT
Please Give me some suggestion on this..

now am getting error on inbound side when we execute we02 t-code.
status Error number 29.

Diagnosis
An IDoc of message type MATFET was passed to the ALE layer, but the three receiver fields in the header record were not filled. In this case the ALE layer tries to determine the receivers from the entries in the distribution model. There are no entries available in the distribution model for the above message type.
Procedure
Define the receivers in your distribution model for this message type or deactivate distribution for these message types.

Urgent: Error in idoc(Application document not posted)

Hi experts,
i am getting the error in R/3 side when i am extracting data from it.
i checked with WE07 it's shows the error as follows
"Application document not posted".
it's been urgent how to resolve this issue. please through a light on it.

Hi Hari,
You start error processing by executing the corresponding work items in your Business Workplace. If a file read error could be corrected, for example, the IDocs which have not yet been read can be read and stored in the database manually, by starting report program RSEINB00.
This could be the reason for ur error..
IDoc could not be generated under MC

The application was not installed because it is not signed

I am having a weird problem with some apps following a restore.
When I synch with iTunes, some apps are installed, and others get an error "the application was not installed because it is not signed".
These are ordinary apps, such as facebook.
The really strange thing is I can download the apps direct to the iphone, but instead of them appearing as a brand new app, all my previously recorded settings are restored.
The Capacity bar in iTunes is showing a large amount of 'other' data being stored on the phone. Its as if the apps are being transfered to the iphone from my PC, but just not being enabled.
I am running iTunes 9.2.1.5 and iOS 4.02 on a vista 64 PC.
Can anyone help?

If you are seeing alot of "Other" in the capacity there is a issue with the software you loaded onto the phone. When you did the restore did you restore from backup?
If so restore again and setup the device as new. Then sync all content back and should resolve the issue.

We have an SharePoint services 3.0 installation that uses custom web parts on 100s of subsites. The custom web parts on any website is presenting this error

This past weekend we decided to create a new database server and migrate the databases to the new server in an effort to retire an old box.
INitially we attempted to go through the configuration wizard which didnt do anything but add a new database server to our farm. What we have done is remove the new database server from the farm and use an alias on the SP server to continue to use
the same name but actually get its data from the new database server.
Everything works with the site except these custom webparts.
Any thoughts on where to go to first, should i redeploy what i think are the webparts from VS 2005 (solutions are VS 2005 slns.)?

You need to make Safe Control enteries in your web.config for the particular web application.
Open web.config
Locate the SafeControls Tag
Make a safe control entry

In order to find the assembly details, Open the GAC. Right click on your dll and then click properties.

DEBMAS - 'Application document not posted'

HI,
We are passing DEBMAS and ADRMAS from MDM to R/3 via XI.
ADRMAS gets posted successfully.
However in case of DEBMAS we get Error 51 'Application document not posted'.
While debugging we found that the messages are not passed to T_BDCMSGCOLL (include LVV02F3J) in R/3.
Please find the screen shot attached with the error.
This is extremely urgent as this affects our production schedule.

The problem is there is no message from SAP which tells me y this error has occurred.
Earlier I got error messages like some filed is mandatory etc.
I figured out to fill these fields.
Now I am stuck as i do not know what to do next.
