Reader won't load on windows 7. It says incompatible application

I have tried several times to load Adobe Reader11 on my computer with windows 7. It loads then I get this message
To proceed, open your download folder and locate the Adobe Reader Installer file, named like “install_reader[xxx].exe”.
Double-click on the installer to complete the installation. For additional help, click here.
I double click it but nothing happens. I run the troubleshoot compatibility and it says incompatible application.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it does the same thing.

Please try to install Adobe reader from official adobe site:

We purchased a new computer and are loading all the essentials but have hit a snag...Adobe Reader won't load on Windows 7. I've searched this forum and tried the suggestions. I've tried disabling firewalls and virus protection, still same problem. I'm getting the following message which seems to kill the installation:

Hitting the retry button doesn't do any good. I'm trying to load version 9.3. Any suggestions??

Edge Code CC won't load, blank window

I've just downloaded Edge Code via Creative cloud, but when I open up the application the only thing I get is a blank white window titled index.html.
I cant type in it, I don't get any toolbars or menus or anything. Not even the "about Edge Code" From the "Edge Code" menu shows anything.
What can I do?
I have a 2,6 Ghz Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro Retina
16 GB RAM (1600 Mhz DDR3)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB
OS X 10.8.4

I used Comodo. But I can't remember the steps I'm afraid. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

Adobe Reader Won't Download On Windows 7

Worked ok on Vista, After
installing Windows 7 (Clean & Install) Adobe Reader won't install on windows 7, goes through the process says 100% installation complete, then nothing. Any ideas.

I havent faced this issue as such on my WIN 7 OS. Worked fine for me.
You might be able to find the cause behind the problem by creating the error log for the installer, using the following commandline switch:
AdbeRdr933_en_US.exe /l
the "\l" switch will create an error log (if any) in the temp directory. (%temp% \ BootStrap.log)
If you can share the log details, it may help in deciphering what exactly is the root cause behind your problem.

Adobe Reader won't load on my iMac.

I can't get Reader to open on my my iMac. I am using system 10.5.8, and every time I download what I think is a newer version of Reader, I get a tiny splash screen that says, “an internal error has occurred.” What version of Reader should I be using?

Yes, I have used Reader for ages. But about the last couple of upgrades
have proven totally unopenable on my Mac.
I get the error message when Reader is trying to open. After I dismiss the
error message, I then get the message that Reader has unaccountably quit.
How do I go about using repair disk utility?

ITunes Won't Load on Windows 7

ITunes won't load since the last update. I tried updating to the new beta version, and it still won't load. I have lost my contacts on my iPhone and now I can't load iTunes. I do have another computer running an older version of iTunes and would like to transfer my contacts file to the older computer and then sync my iPhone to that computer. Can someone please help me with transfering my contacts file to the other computer? It would be nice if iTunes would load on this computer, the one I use all the time but it seems this problem is not being addressed. Do Apple personnel only address these problems if you pay them for support, or do they fix their software and help their customers? Here is the error message I get, and as you can see, iTunes is not loading, just giving the error message:

iTunes never starts after this message. I've checked Windows Task Manager to see what programs are running. I've tried using the iTune comaptibility option but that didn't change anything. iTunes has always worked, now nothing. Nothing happens when I plug in my iPhone, or when I start iTunes. I just want my contacts, that's all!!! I had always thought I was safe because I always backed up my phone -- boy was i wrong.

many thanks. In recent times, the error-message-free launch failures of both iTunes and QuickTime have often been indicating that some application (other than QuickTime itself) has dropped old QuickTime componentry in your system files.
So just in case we'll go looking for older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
First we'll need to change some view settings.
In your Start menu, open Computer.
In your Organise menu, select Folder Options.
In the View tab, make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is selected, and Hide extensions for known file types is unchecked.
Click OK.
Now in Computer, open your C:\ drive (or whichever drive you have your operating system installed on).
Open the "Windows" folder.
Open the "System32" folder.
What files and folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the title? (In a standard installation of Quicktime you should be seeing precisely two files... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.)

Safari 3 Beta Won't Load in Windows

Tried downloading Safari on my Windows computer...won't load everything in the browser including tool bars. Can't even type addresses in to go to websites. Tried restarting my system, everything. I heard it wasn't that great for Windows, but I didn't think it would be this bad. I enjoy it on my Mac...hope there's a bug fix soon.

5.1 is buggy, and the Apple Support Software also has to be uninstalled - and downgraded.
Better off with 5.0.x for now.
There are a dozen threads+ about 5.1s issues.
You can also expect some extensions and plug-ins could also be trouble.
And manually clean out every sub folder in AppData with Safari (prefs, history, web, etc) when moving to a new version. Same with Firefox 5/6/etc
I'd make sure to use CCleaner 3.09 and make sure that cleans Safari.

My safari won't load on windows xp

A few weeks ago I did some updates now safari won't load. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstallling multiple times

In Vista, Safari personal prefs and such are stored in the hidden user folder "AppData" in subfolders Local and Roaming, under "Apple" folders.
Clean out (move or something) and let Safari start fresh, which should solve the issue.
Not sure where XP stores files.

ITunes won't load after windows update

Just did the latest automatic backup in Windows 7, and noe iTunes won't load. It keeps "checking" my library then I get a Windows message that iTunes is shutting down.
Anyone else getting this?

ITunes won't load on Windows 7 after the last update

iTunes won't load on my Windows 7 machine after the last update. There is no error, but the window opens and says "Checking iTunes library" for a while, and then pops up iTunes. When it comes up, I can see it but it won't load or let me interact with it. The window I can see is my podcast library and it suggests it's accessing the iTunes Store. Right clicking, alt-tabbing seem to have no effect, and I can only shut it down in Task Manager. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck (...twice). Any other ideas?

I've checked other threads for this issue but they have the F8 option during start up, this laptop doesnt have that option.
After turning on the laptop its either press F2 for Setup or F12 to select boot options. I try to load my Windows CD but it doesnt load/read the disk. I also dont know what to troubleshoot on BIOS.
It recognizes all the basic hardware. HDD and CD drive. Ive tried to remove the battery and mouse, then just attach the adapter but I sometimes get "program cannot start press ok to turn off the computer".
Can anyone help me? What are my options to have this fixed / recovered? I cant rely on the phone tech support since the unit is out of warranty.

Your story is pretty confusing. It is full of different information but we dont know which operating system do you use and has your notebook factory settings or not.
Is there some reason why your notebook acts so strange? Have you done anything that can be responsible for this? Can you start OS or not.

How to understand sometimes? Which program? What happen when you press power button?
Sorry but I dont know how to understand all this and start with discussion.
Missing F8 option is also very confusing.
Try please to set BIOS to default settings and try to start OS again.

i have a hp photosmart 5510 all in one printer, the print spooler in the service command, won't start it, error code, 0x800706b9, not enough resources etc;. even in the command processor, page, the one you put sc config spooler depend= RPCSS, thats successful. but still can't load the printer drivers.
i am running wiindows 8.1, i need to know how to get around the print spooler in windows 8.1. thanks

I did all these steps up to RPC...there is no "internet" under RPC in my registry to delete... please help.

You can resolve this problem by deleting the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\RPC\Internet
NOTE: Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully.
1. Click Start, click Run, type regedt32 in the Open box, and then click OK. This starts Registry Editor.
2. In Registry Editor, expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
3. Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, double-click Software, double-click Microsoft, and then double-click RPC.
4. Under RPC, select Internet.

ITunes update won't load on windows 7 starter

I am trying to load the update for iTunes but it isn't working. I go to Help --> Check for update and I get a message that an update is found. I click on Install Update and nothing happens. I've tried rebooting, running iTunes as an administrator and even loading windows updates. Nothing works. I need to update iTunes so that I can load the updates on my iPhone.
Please help.

With that one, try updating using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple website:

Help! DW8 won't load after Windows reinstall

A couple of days ago I was obliged to to reinstall Windows XP
Pro and all of my applications, including Dreamweaver 8. There have
been no other problems, and DW worked fine as usual just after the
reinstall, but since then it has refused to load - the initial
screen comes on but the application window just flashes for a split
second and the program disappears from memory. I've uninstalled and
reinstalled twice and have run a mild registry cleaning utility
with no effect. What could this be, and how can I fix it? I rely on
DW and use it daily and really need to get it up and running!

Never mind - on the third try for tech support (was steered
into the wrong queue the first two times and had given up, but
there was no reply on this forum either, so I tried again) I got
through and got help. Problem was that DW8 needed to have an update
applied, but the updater was looking for it on the Macromedia site
rather than the Adobe site. The registry key needed to be cleared
and the update downloaded and installed. All is well now.
