Reader X on 64-bit Windows 7 Citrix VM will not preview

I am unable to see PDF documents in the Windows 7 (64-bit) explorer "Preview Pane" unless I first launch then exit Adobe Reader 10.0.1. If I try the preview before doing this, I get a system error such as that documented on several posts - "This file can't be previewed," "An Internal Error Occurred," application exception, etc.
I investigated the fix at http://www.pretentiousname.com/adobe_pdf_x64_fix/, but the registry key is configured correctly already. I can find no significant differences running a registry compare; all I have to do is launch Reader one time and the preview operation works until I log out of the VM and back in.
Is this something peculiar to running in Citrix? Is there a setting that should be "pre-configured" to avoid this? We're preparing for Enterprise rollout and using the VM for pilot tests.

The pdf preview handler needs the catalog "appdata\local\adobe\acrobat\10.0" or else it fails
The catalog is created first time you start Adobe Reader, and since it is local appdata it's not saved by the roaming profile - and you've got the error again on next login
So the workaround is to start Adobe Reader or create appdata\local\adobe\acrobat\10.0 folder at logon - I rather get a fix on this Adobe, the "error" is also in XI version

A user in Public Relations needs to use Adobe Premier Pro CS6. However when we tried to install it the program is grayed out and has a caution icon. If I hover over it there is a message that says it prefers 64-bit. Prefers does not mean will not work in my opinion. However it will not install.
I read that Premier Pro is 64-bit only on another web site. Is this true? There has to be a solution.
On the Adobe site I saw that installing CS4 Premier was the work around but you have to purchase a license key. We have already purchased Premier Pro and do not have money in the budget to purchase an older product when this one should work.
Please help. I am under a lot of pressure to resolve this

Premiere Pro CS6 is 64 bit software and will only install on a 64 bit computer. There is no way around that.

Try the following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

i went to update my ipod the other day and it said that the ipod was corrupted, so i took it out and pluged it back in again and it worked fine. then i went to charge my ipod on the computer a couple of days later and its not regognised on windows or itunes and will not charge!
i have reset, restarted and updated etc and nothing has happened. i have read other thru peoples messeges who have simular problems and they say that reinstalling and reseting to factory conditions doesnt work.

I have tried unistalling the current version I had which was 10.6.3, defragging and running a security scan. Now, the highest version I can get is 10.4.1. for some reason I cannot dowload itunes 10.5 or higher as it gives me the same message which is what I need to connect and update my iphone. Anyone facing the same issue or can point me in the right direction?

sorry it's not my apple id. it's my icloud email/account. after i updated to ios 8.1.2 my icloud acct on my phone is wrong. it's using my old college email address instead of my current icloud account email. my old college email address *used* to be my apple id, but i changed my apple id to my gmail account a few months back. anyway i can't "sign out" or delete the icloud account bc it thinks my college email address is my icloud account and it keeps asking for the password. so i'll type in the current password for my icloud account and it says it's wrong and i need to retry or change the password, which i've already done twice and nothing changes. probably bc its asking for the password associated with the college email address it thinks is my icloud acct.
i can access icloud on my desktop without a problem... make any sense? do i have to restore my phone now or is there a solution? i've wasted the last 2 days trying to figure this out. i can't send or receive emails on my iphone bc of this. which really ***** for work.

I have uninstalled the software and re-installed it, Tried to open it as Administrator and it still hangs up with the Adobe banner (the picture) being displayed. Nothing happens. When I click on anything I get the message that Lightroom is not responding. I have asked to have a new catalog created for Lightroom 6............Please help.

It is Ideal to install Creative Cloud app , if you are using Adobe apps.
Creative Cloud is nothing but an updated version of Adobe Application manager. Adobe Application Manager is required for different purposes like Activation, Update.process and installation processes.etc
Adobe application manager must be up to date , that brings to Creative Cloud application which is the updated version .
No need to Sign in and all , just keep it install, if you are not okay with installing Creative Cloud app. it's okay , you can still have Adobe Application Manager only.

This solved everything, after uninstalling IObit Advanced SystemCare iTunes would open with Bonjour enabled however iTunes wouldn't pick up the iPhone device. I did some more digging and a few of their other applications had been installed including Game Booster. Uninstalling that put everything back to normal.
I have been given a new device by Apple who were really helpful and the guys have neever seen the docking connector disabling before. Coinsidence?
Anyway in case this helps other people these were the symptoms (might help with searches):
- Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
- iTunes 10 wouldn't open originally, just egg timer then nothing yet processes all started
- Docking connector died on the device, wouldn't even trigger a standard USB connection or light up the device
- Uninstalling iTunes etc didn't change anything
- Disabling Bonjour worked but iTunes extremely unstable, seems frozen when syncing and the sync itself, especially with app transfer, was extremely slow and the other buttons were unresponsive after clicking for two minutes before screen would change
Have sent feedback to IObit about this to see if there isn't something that can be done.

I recently downloaded 2 movies in iTunes on my windows PC and movies will not play, they will open up to the main menu, mouse overs work as well as extra features. However the main movies will not let you play.

I recently downloaded 2 movies in iTunes on my windows PC and movies will not play, they will open up to the main menu, mouse overs work as well as extra features. However the main movies will not let you play. On mouse over in itunes the 'play' buttion is not enabled, yet is however enabled on previously downloaded movies.

For me I have follow several of the help articles. When I play the movie in iTunes the screen is black with no audio, the timer status says it is playing (although it does not work all the time). I am able to play and have audio on the extras. I tried to use just QuickTime to play the movie and that as well does not work. I have started iTunes in safe mode and when the movie would begin to play, iTunes crashes and I have to restart. I have tried fresh clean installs of iTunes as well as QuickTime with no luck.
It looks to be a QuickTime problem however I cant verify that. Any help would be great.
