Reader XI does not allow saving files to D-drive

I have the latest version of Reader XI installed on Windows 7.
When I have PDF document opened on browser and try to save it to my computer I get error saying that the target disk full.
This happens only if I try save it to my D-drive. Saving to C-drive works without problem. The result is same for all PDF documents.
If I open local PDF file on Reader I can then save it to D-drive.
My D-drive has more than 400GB free space and it is not malfunctioning. My user account has full permissions on that drive.
I was unable to find any setting that might be related to this.
What could be the cause of this and could it be fixed?

Must add Local computer\users to have list folder contents permissions on the target drive.

The bad news is: The PDFs are irreparably damaged and you'll need to delete them.
The good news is: you can prevent this from happening again.
Download the ollfine Reader 11 installer here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
Save the DMG - DO NOT mount it or run the installer yet.
Quit Safari.
Go to: Mac HD/Applications
Trash the Reader 11 app from there
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plugins
Trash the AdobePDFViewer.plugin file
Trash the AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin file
Empty the trash
Mount the DMG and run the Reader installer.
Open Safari and go to: Safari>Preferences
Under the Security Tab, make sure "Allow all other plugins" is checked.
You can now redownload the previously "damaged" PDFs and they will open.

Adobe Reader plugin does not allow to save files

When pdf files are opened inside firefox using the Adobe plugin 10.1.12.15, I am not able to save them to disk. The "Save button" appears on the bottom of the screen on hovering, but clicking it does not offer any action. Neither does CRT-SHIFT-S or displaying the Adobe menu bar and pressing "Save as..." from there.
Restarting of the browser sometimes helps.
Any tips? And no, I do not want to save pdf files as the first option. I want the opened by default in Firefox and save them from there when I need/want to do this.

Solved it. Problem seemed to have been a crashed Acrobat process. Just kill all Acrobat tasks in the task manager, reload the link in the browser and the Save button now works.

I am unable to retrieve spreadsheets. Numbers displays the "Welcome To Numbers" page but does not allow saved spreadsheets to be opened. It offers the "Open Recent" choice and displays saved file names but does not allow these files to be accessed.

I recently upgraded to Numbers 3.5.2. I have an older Macbook Pro (2009) and I run Yosemite 10.10.2. I am unable to open any saved files that were created with earlier versions of Numbers. When I open the Numbers app, I am offered the Welcome To Numbers page. When I choose the 'Open Recent' option, I am offered the greyed names of files that I had recently used, however, I am unable to open any of these files (no error message is displayed). Welcome To Numbers stays on the screen. I tried opening the app by clicking on the file name but it produced the same results. I am having a similar problem with Pages.   I suspect a compatibility problem between the new OSX and the new iWork offerings.   Has anyone else encountered this problem? Does it require a setting change or is it a bug?

Reader XI does not diplay PDF-file

It only shows white page page when opened. The result is same with both viewing it on Reader program and on browser.
All other PDF files work well with Reader. I also know that the file is not corrupt because it opens correctly on other PDF readers.

Unsual thing about the file is that it does not have tradional page size like A4 or A3 but is one very larger page.
I have installed the latest updates. My OS is Windows 7.

The fact that it displays in other PDF viewers does not mean that there is not a problem with the file. The source of the problem is the page size exceeds the maximum allowed by the specification, which is 200 inches (height or width). The page is 208.33 inches tall. So Adobe has chosen to not display pages that are not valid.

Simplesave sd320a does not show saved files or directory structure, disk full?, I can restore

I was saving files from an old win95 machine to bring them to a new laptop which is windows 7. I plugged in the drive which is not full and I can only see the hp launcher. In drive properties this drives shows 100 pct full.
I can and did pull up an old simple save backup and restore pictures.
The windows 7 machine is a locked down work machine. Maybe the file structure was changed by the windows 95 machine and now my windows 7 machine can not see the root directory?
I have not written to the drive since storing all of the pictures from the 95 machine and unplugging the external hard drive.
I am looking for help on how to see the files in the root directory that I simply use the copy command to move them on to the external drive.

I don’t quite understand all of your statement.
To clarify, you were making SimpleSave backups from Win95 and cannot see them all on the Win7 laptop?
Or
You were copying files over (SimpleSave utility not used) and you cannot see those files on Win7 but you can on the Win95 machine?
Do you have another Win7 machine you could connect the external to, to see if the files are still not showing (one that is not locked for work)?
On the drive that shows full, can you see it in Disk Management showing the correct size of the drive and also another CD drive? Not your real CD/DVD drive, it’s actually a CD emulator that is attached to the HDD for encrypting the backups and all SimpleSave’s have them.
Lastly, did you reformat the SimpleSave drive to Fat32 first?
My understanding is that USB support was quite limited on Win95 machines. Since Win95 is Fat32 and the SimpleSave drive is by default NTFS, I would think it would not work.

After installing OS X Yosemite my USB drive is not working as it was. It does not show any files in USB drive.

Reader X does not load dymanic file correctly on Citrix

I am having issues with Reader X in Internet Explorer 7 on a Citrix Terminal Server running Windows 2003 SP2. When I click on a hyperlink requesting a dymanic PDF file, it opens a new IE window, then displays a gray box. If I delete and re-type the last letter in the web address it will re-request the file and correctly display the file. At another web site where I request a static PDF and it opens correctly but it uses a frame in the original web page. This issue happens to both standard users and domain admins. Also the webpage that we have issues with will render correctly from IE7, Reader X on a XP system.

Published site does not match saved file

I need to make some changes to an iweb created website, but when I open the domain file in iweb only 2 pages ( show up in the side bar. The last time I saved this file, I had 10 pages. When I press "visit site" all of the pages show up.
Is this some sort of glitch? Can I do something to retrieve these pages or will I have to start from scratch?
Any help greatly appreciated!

And now I'm seeing a problem of a similar nature. The design and preview show a smooth transition between all pages, but the published site shows the logo in the upper left "jumping" when I leave the home page. I've checked the page properties between all of the pages and they seem to be set the same. I am using only one master page for all of the pages. Any ideas on why this would be occurring? Doug's got it right. It sounds like you are trying to open a later version file in an earlier version. This will always be handled as opening the PDF portion of the file. Try Googling AI_openMultiPagePDF for a script to open these or Resave from the newer version to the older.

Noob question. SWF file runs as slideshow, does not allow navigation.

Hi. I run my own company, and hired a professional to design my website in Flash. I have the editable .fla file in my possession and given that what I need is really simple, I´d like to do it myself and start knowing the tool by reverse engineering an already built site.
My problem is this:
I need to update some text information, really simple, so I did open the .fla document in Flash CC and changed the text.
However, when I publish/export the .swf file, it runs in the browser as a slideshow, and it does not allow for navigation.
The animations run in a loop that cannot be stopped, and the buttons are disabled.
What am I doing wrong?

I studied Graphic Design waaaaaay before everything was done in a computer, but I do have some rather limited computer skills.
I´d like to know, if at all possible, what caused this errors, so I can avoid making the same mistakes in the future.
All I did was change some text/update pictures in the flash file, how come the code got messed up?

Something else that may come in handy is this wonderful program and it is free, and no I don't own the company. It takes a bit of time to learn it, but worth the effort. You can edit tags for tracks one by one, or look them up in several databases, including Amazon and discogs, etc. I really like to pre-clean my tags before adding the files to my library since they often get scattered about, and depending on the source, may not even have track titles, only file names.
