I have did all the configuration steps for Reader Rights Credential. However, im still getting this error:

Im still unable to solve the problem.
I have followed these steps:
u2022Log onto the Visual Admin
u2022On the Cluster tab, choose Server - > Services -> Document Services Configuration.
u2022In the Runtime tab, select Credentials.
u2022From the Type field, select the type of credential you are configuring (P12 record).
u2022In the Alias field, enter the alias 'Reader Rights'.
u2022Choose Browse to search for the name of the credential and then select.
u2022In the sha1 field, enter the sha1 value. This value is available in the text file which is found along with the certificate in the zip file.
u2022In the password field, enter the password you received along with the credential. In this case, you can enter your own password or the same value in the text file.
u2022Confirm the password and click Add.
For the credential, I have downloaded from previous thread. Can anyone tell me how to obtain credential (for non-commercial use)?

          I have implemented offline adobe forms (Impersonalized) using guided procedures.
    -- I have created an interactive form callable object using an xdp template.
    -- Used Create Impersonalized form option and activated the object.
    -- In the manage impersonalized forms section, created a form using the object.
    -- The form created doesn't allow me to add attachments or comments.
    I have worked with online interactive forms too and the PDF rendered there allows me to add attachements.
    I have checked both the forms' readers rights credentials.
    Form rendered using GP doesn't have  the option 'You have the rights to add attachments'
    But I need to attach some docs to this form. How can I achieve this.
    How to modify the reader rights credentials so that I can add attachments.

  • Problem with Activating Adobe Forms

    I am developping an Adobe forms using Transaction SFP.
    I have developped Interface as well as form .
    While Activating Form :-
    Its not showing any Syntax Error. Still its not gettng Activated.
    What could be the reason ?

    2. Installed ADLC 8.2

  • DVD-R Read Problem

    We have a DVD-R sent to us for a small FCP project that refuses to play correctly in our older (but totally up to date with OS 10.5 and FCP Suite 2). Herky jerky jump then stop as if the machine cannot keep up with the data flow. Drag and drop the file into FCP and it does the same thing.
    However, on my MacBook Pro, same OS 10.5 and FCP S2, it plays correctly...so we got it into the G5 by transferring it to a portable hard drive on the MacBook Pro and walking it to the G5.
    Why? Is it the DVD burner/reader? Is this an extra dense DVD file? It reads QuicktimeMovie with a standard .mov suffix.

    1) All of the combo DVD/CD burner/readers (and now there's a 3rd machine, my home iMac) are Apple supplied. My home iMac (1 year old, like the MacBook Pro) reuses to play the DVD file also, while my MacBook Pro of the same vintage will play it. Is the combo burner/player better in the MacBook Pro...the iMac just slower, and the 3-year-old G5 just slower? Dunno.
    2) All of these machines have the same software setup -- all Leopard 10.5, all FCPS2.
    The file is a .mov file with all of the normal characteristics of a QuickTime movie file. In fact, I compared a sample .mov file that I had digitized in a FCP project and they are identical. Has to be the DVD readers, right?

    I have read some installation pre-requisite in the server site for implement SAP Adobe Interactive form in the FAQ :
    1. SAP Web AS 6.40 Java (for all scenarios)
    2. SAP Web AS 6.40 ABAP (if you are looking at high-volume print scenarios)
    3. Adobe document services (run-time component)
    4. Adobe Credential (for creating interactive PDF forms).
    could you please give me some enlighteening on the number 4 ? is that compusory ?

    The type of credential they are referring to in 4) is a Readers Right credential. Basically it is a special file of the form PKCS #12 that you install on your ADS system to enable your users using interactive forms to be able to save data into the form using Adobe Reader. It's a usage rights credential, without which you will not be able to save data in a PDF document. You will need to decide from a business point of view whether it is required or not as it is not compulsory unless you use interactive forms.
    You also get other credentials for digital signatures and certification.

    Now my users are getting error while they are using adobe service of SAP.
    Error is:

    I have completed all steps mentioned in adobe configration guide and also installed credential file on server.
    In Visual Admin i have choosen type:P12 record,in Alias Readers right,
    Sha1 is blank and passwords that i got from SAP.
    Please assist me in resolving the error.

    Read timed out"
    To check my configration when I am running programmes FP_TEST_00,FP_PDF_TEST_00
    they contineously running from a ling time.
    Beside it when I am testing destination service by
    Extend the setting in field URLunder Connection Settings to:
                           http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp
                           (The <server> and <port> that are already available refer to the AS ABAP.)
                           c) Choose 'Save and Test'
                           d) The system calls the ABAP system that stores the form templates.
    Its showing error code 404 and for its solution it is mentioned in the note to contact to Administrator to check destination services.
    Now issue is I am the administrator,how can i check this destination services.

  • Makes me wonder if I picked the right phone company

    I have been a dedicated Verizon Wireless customer for about 3 years now. Couple months ago I renewed my contract for another 2 years. I was really excited about getting a new device which would give me more options of doing things online and being able to enjoy the convenience of the 4G speed. Screen protection, double cover for the phone, hands-free - I got it all! Everything was great until a few days ago my phone simply shut down on me. Of course the first thing I decided to do was to call customer care. A representative was trying to help me fix the problem but nothing would work. So I went to a Verizon store and asked them to trouble shoot the device. It turned out that my almost brand new phone was not in a condition to ever work again. So I was told by a customer representative at the store that they were going to order a replacement device for me and I was supposed to get it over night. We are all very busy people and those of us who are lucky enough to have devices that help us bank online from our phones, check emails and set up tasks and meetings on everyday basis would understand the frustration of not being able to perform everyday tasks because the phone you relied on is broken. Since there`s no such thing as a loaner phone any more, I was sent on my way without being able to communicate. I travel a lot between two states - working in one, living in the other. The thought of being on the road and simply not being able to even make a phone call in case of an emergency is pretty terrifying (don`t you think?). I placed quite a few phone calls to customer service to see when my phone was going to be delivered to the house. Unfortunately the lady on the other end of the line told me she couldn`t locate my tracking number and probably it has not been processed yet. She asked me to call back first thing next morning. My simple question was: From what phone do you want me to call you back? Pretty reasonable question actually! It felt like we were just running in circles. That night I managed to find one of my old devices which happened to work, so in the morning I could activate it and be able to place phone calls and check my emails. As I made it back to the Verizon store the next morning and asked a gentleman who was helping me about the tracking number and delivery time, I was shocked to hear that my phone was not going to make it to place of my residency that day. Matter of fact he told me it was going to take 3-5 business days and the phone has not even been shipped yet! I was speechless. One person tells me overnight, another one tells me 3 to 5 business days.. I understand there`s certain policies and procedures but they could have at least stuck to the same story! I asked to change the delivery address so it would have been easier for me to get the package (like I said I run between two states all the time). The answer I received was No, we cannot do that. I asked them to just activate my old phone and headed out for an appointment. I was not thrilled with the way it all has been handled but I decided to let it go. Little did I know, that was not the end of that problem. I called the Verizon customer care once again with the same questions: what is my tracking number and when is the device going to be delivered. Still could not get an answer for any of those questions. The lady on the phone told me that I would get a call back when they finally get the information I`m acquiring. Well let`s put it this way, I would have still been waiting for that phone call, if I did not call them back two days later. Finally I got that "magic" box with my replaced Motorola Razor. Feeling relief and excitement I went back to the store to get my phone set up again. Sales clerk asked me if I had a Sims card for it. I told him that there`s one in my old phone. He explained to me that it was not going to be working. Can you imagine the expression on my face as he was telling me all that?! All I could think about was how they could not have ordered another Sims card if they knew the old one was not good any longer. The sales clerk offered to order one for me with an overnight shipment. I said: just like my phone being shipped over night and it took like 4 days??!! So he said that they had cards in the store that I could buy. And I did simply because I needed my phone back ASAP. I never knew that the warranty covers only the phone, but not its parts! It`s like buying a brand new vehicle off the lot with no gas in it!! Ridiculous was the word of that moment. So now I`m wondering if I made the right choice when I picked Verizon as my cell phone company. After all I can take my $100/month bill somewhere else. If that`s how clients are appreciated by the company, I don`t feel like I need to keep my service with Verizon or for that matter refer any of my friends, family members and customers to Verizon.

    Or were you referring to the one in the old temporary replacement device? Would that even be compatible with the newer phones?
    The one that wasn't working had a 4G LTE SIM card in it. It should have usable in the replacement Razr. It was only until I read the OP a third time this morning that there might be a third device involved. It would be nice if people would give more specifics on what devices are active at what time. Then the readers of this community can follow the progression of the events better.

  • Is Flex right for me and my project? Developers sought

    Sorry for the long post. I want to know if Flex/Apollo would
    be a good platform for the following project.
    There's also a question of how to store the data, but it will
    almost certainly be XML.
    Briefly, here are the questions, with more background to make
    sense of
    them below. I think it's an interesting project and we're
    looking for contributors!
    1. What's a good way to store about 20,000 texts that are
    highly
    hyperlinked and so that on would have a high degree of
    flexibility in
    how to display within both desktop and web-based
    applications?
    2. What's a good platform for developing an application to
    display
    the texts (usually several at once) in a flexible manner that
    would also
    a) be easy to finddevelopers who can work in the platform
    b) be as OS independent as possible
    c)enable one to utilize as many already existing modules as
    possible, to speed development
    d) be easily able to construct a web interface to interface
    with the same text database.
    e) have the ability to release code with some kind of open
    source license.
    The application I want to build is as follows:
    So about two weeks ago I got very annoyed that there is no
    freely
    available Judaic text database (e.g. Bar Ilan/DBS Master
    Library/Judaic Classics Library) type program available (the
    commercial packages range from $80-$600).
    There are of course some very good websites that
    have a good amount of material easily and freely accessible,
    but it's
    largely spread out and the interfaces are pretty weak. The
    same
    applies to the commercial packages, the interface is quite
    utilitarian, and doesn't seem to have evolved since the
    mid-90s.
    I stumbled across the website www.hebrewbooks.org which has
    scanned
    11,000 books, and OCRd about 10,000 to varying degrees of
    accuracy.
    They are also more than happy to share their information
    freely. I
    spoke with the head of the site, and he was into the idea.
    Two things need to happen simultaneously. One being that the
    texts
    need to be prepared, which is a huge task in and of itself.
    The most
    important thing is to create the appropriate hyperlinks. In
    most
    cases, there is a central text (CT), say the Torah, with
    commentaries
    moving linearly along the CT and commenting on phrases as
    they appear
    in the CT. Each comment is called a Dibur HaMatchil (DH). Of
    course,
    within each DH, there might be references to other parts of
    the CT, or
    to virtually any other text. This really is like a normal
    hyperlink.
    This structure is pretty constant throughout the Jewish
    library, its
    found in the Torah, Mishnah, Talmud, Midrash, Shulchan Aruch,
    etc.
    Each of these CTs however, have different organizational
    systems. The
    Torah has Books, Parshas, as well as the Chapter/Verse
    system. The
    mishna has Tractates divided into Chapters, divided into
    Mishnayot.
    The Talmud has Tractates which are usually referenced
    according to
    Page and Side of the page (printing is standard enough to
    allow for
    this). Shulchan Aruch has 4 sections, which contain Simanim,
    and
    S'eefim. Sometimes, there are multiple CTs following the same
    pattern
    and discussing the same topic, so in essence, one CT becomes
    a
    commentary on another CT.
    There are of course many books which are not necessarily
    commentaries
    on any specific text (i.e. not structured according to DHs),
    but say
    philosophical works which will quote from all over the place.
    Even though we won't be trying to organize it all at once, we
    need to
    create a good data structure from the get go that allows for
    all of
    these connections to be made, that is easily searchable
    (shouldn't be
    a problem), and easily browsable (also not a big deal).
    As for what needs to be done with this data...
    I really see the killer app, what nobody else has done yet
    to my
    knowledge, as being able to select a CT, and choose which
    commentaries
    you would like to see on it, and then having a 'book'
    autogenerated on
    the fly, layed out according to pre-defined templates or
    user-defined
    rules (to a certain degree). With books now, any given
    edition you
    choose always has either too few, too many, or not quite the
    right
    combination of commentaries. I see this really becoming
    awesome in
    the next few years as e-paper/e-book readers become
    (hopefully) cheap
    and ubiquitous.
    Ideally, there should be a tagging engine, so that each book
    can come
    with some pre-defined tags, allow the user to add their own
    tags (and
    share them back with the community), auto-generate keywords
    (maybe
    distinct from tags?) for a given text and then have search
    and browse
    features that leverage those tags. So if you want to see all
    13th
    century books from France and Germany dealing with personal
    injury
    law, it'll be a snap to find them. Or to conduct a free text
    search
    through any subset of the library you want.
    Also, I'd love to see tag clouds and information mapping a la
    www.quintura.com
    www.kartoo.com
    www.kartoo.net (no search here, just nice graphics)
    www.ujiko.com
    This would make it much easier to explore new sources of
    information.
    All current programs essentially require you to know exactly
    what
    you're looking for before you start. If you don't have the
    right
    phrase, you'll never find what you need, and there's no easy
    way to
    discover it.
    And of course, there have to be tabs which can display either
    an
    autoformatted page, or a pdf of the original book.
    So this is a big project, as you can see, but a good portion
    of the
    work seems to be done to me. On the data side, 10,000 books
    are
    already scanned and OCRd, remaining is the laborious task of
    marking
    them all up. Here, it would hopefully be possible to create
    small
    programs that would enable the masses of people who are very
    familiar
    with the texts, but know no computer-ese to aid in the task.
    I think
    there would be good response for at least the most important
    texts.
    On the UI side, all of the search/database features I
    mentioned above
    I think could be found in various open source repositories,
    with only
    the need to customize the code. The auto-layout stuff also
    seems
    pretty simple from an algorithmic point of view, assuming you
    have
    data that's appropriately marked up. Particularly if we stick
    to
    pre-defined templates. Adding user-defined templates later as
    appropriate.
    I'm probably infinitely naive, as I haven't coded anything
    since
    Pascal. I see a timeline of 1 year to a proof-of-concept type
    application with a limited dataset, and 5 years to realize
    what I've
    described above.
    FYI, in addition to finding good hearted volunteers, there
    are some
    good fundraising leads at the moment that could help things
    considerably.
    Any advice you have is more than welcome. If it's easier over
    the
    phone, then let's talk.

  • Proper user and group rights

    Dear readers and admins
    My question is about the "correct" setting of the user and group rights, so the following is possible. It relates to Server 10.3 and to 10.4.
    Requirements:
    Group 1 = "Regular user"
    Group 2 = "Administration, Accounting"
    User 1 and 2 belong to Group 1, users 3 and 4 belong to Group 2.
    User 1 & 2 must have read/write access to files and folders in Group 1, but may not have access to files and folders of Group 2.
    User 1 & 2 must be in a position of creation and deletion of file and directory of Group 1, as if they were their own files and directories. I.e. User 2 must be in a position to delete or change files and directories that an other user of Group 1 has created.
    User 3 & 4 must have read and write access to files and directories of Group 1 & 2. They must be able to creating and changing such files and directories, as if they were their own files and directories. I.e. User 3 & 4 must be able to create and change files and directories which belong to user 1 & 2.
    As I understand it, this can be achieved with ACL's under Server 10.6.
    Am I right?
    What would such a structure look like with ACL's?
    I unfortunately don't have a server 10.6 running, as, down due to technical problems, my server is down.

    Yes - and it's pretty easy.
    1. You would create whatever share points you would like (very easy to do)
    2. You would make sure in Workgroup Manager you have the users assigned to the correct groups that you discussed.
    3. On the folders for Group 1 you would add ACL permissions of Full Control for Group 1 and Full Control for Group 2.
    4. On the folders for Group 2 you would add an ACL permission of Full Control for Group 2.

  • PDF not rendering right in firefox

    I have a PDF file I created on my website and noticed that in FF it is not rendering the images correctly (specifically the background image) The file renders fine in IE and Chrome but not in FF, which produces a lot of odd lines in some images and the background. I have had several people check this for me and they have the same problem, the PDF will just not show correctly in Firefox, even one person that tried it, FF will not show any pictures for her on the PDF. Did not know where to post this, as it is not really a question but an observation.

    I am sure this is helpful for those that are computer savvy like myself, but most readers of my PDF newsletter on my site are not. So it will not help them much, heck I spent 10 mins. in chat last night explaining to them what a URL is, most still did not understand. I will pass the info on anyway just in case, telling them this is only a problem if they are a FF user, or that they can use IE or Chrome if they like so it renders correctly.

    It is rendering differently because IE uses the Adobe reader plugin to display PDF's and Chrome uses a custom PDF viewer. Firefox also has a custom PDF viewer (different than both IE & Chrome).
    Firefox users can view the PDF using Adobe reader by following these steps:
    #Click on the Download button (the one to the right of the print button).
    # Change it from Save file to Open with: '''Adobe Reader'''
    #Click OK.

  • There are no readers registered for the txt type - Issue importing txt file

    Hello guys,
    I am working on SQL developer 3.2. and Oracle database 11g. I am trying to import a txt file with only two columns and 100 rows separated with a pipe. I can import the same file if its in *.CSV or *.xls format. I right click on the table > Import table > Choose the *.txt file > and then I get a message "There are no readers registered for the txt type". Why? Where do I get the reader? I am using the same exact method and the same exact data to import using a different file format and I do not get any errors. The wizard comes up and I am ready to load. I have scoured through this forum for a solution and I could not find one. Any help is very much appreciated.

    It means we don't support that file type for doing imports. It sounds like a reasonable request to [add to the Exchange|sqldeveloper.oracle.com] though.

  • cfpdfform gives intermittent(!) rights errors in Acrobat Reader

    (This question has also been asked in the Acrobat thread.)
    Using Acrobat Pro 9.1 (and the corresponding Reader 9.1 on client workstations) I have constructed a fillable PDF form and granted extended Reader rights to it.  I use this form for data-display and modification.  (Cold Fusion 8.)
    The process works flawlessly on my machine, which has Reader Pro installed.  But on the Readers it will intermittently throw this error:
    "This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader.  The document has been changed since it was created and the use of extended features is no longer available.  Please contact the author for the original version of the document."
    Why do I say, "intermittent?"  Because, if you reload the page ... sometimes if you simply resize the browser window ... "suddenly it works."  The document becomes fillable on Reader.  And sometimes the page appears, right from the start, as fillable.  So it's apparently a timing problem.
    As I said, the computers are known to have the latest Adobe Reader installed, and not every computer acts the same ... nor does any computer act the same way with any particular consistency.  The forms always have the right data in them, and when the Reader consents to make them fillable, they perform exactly as they are intended.  (To the Adobe team's credit, CF8 makes this remarkably easy to do...)
    I can say with certainty that the underlying document (on the server) most definitely is not changing, because it has been made read-only to CF just as a precaution.  I also know that the clocks on all computers are synchronized.  So, I think, a lot of "sensible" causes for the problem can be eliminated ... leaving only the "nonsensical" ones, perhaps.  I'm really looking for a work-around.
    I have fiddled with cache-control headers (would like to know more about this...) just because I am grasping at straws now, but with no apparent effect.
    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
    (Heh... I'd attach the "cfm" but ... go figure ... the forum software won't allow the "cfm" or "cfc" or "zip" file-types!)

  • Iphoto opens in top right corner of screen, no way to drag it to center

    I really hope someone can help, as I have tried everyting I know to fix this.
    When I open iPhoto, it opens in the upper right portion of the computer screen, with only the bottom left quarter of the iphoto screen visible. There is no way to drag it to the center, thus making iphoto unusable.
    When I press F9 or F10, it brings iPhoto full screen and center, but as soon as I press a key or click the mouse, it moves it back to the corner.
    Any ideas??

  • How can I stop acrobat dc continually loading the right hand toolbar on every pdf I open

    How can I stop the right hand toolbar continually loading in the new acrobat dc, it is infuriating and am getting extremely annoyed with it as I have to close it every time I load a pdf.  I use the arrow to close and it reopens on the next pdf.

    Yes very disappointed in how Toolbar functionality generally is so degraded with this DC version. It is as if the product designers have no idea how people use the product. And it degrades its most basic functionality, the ability to read a PDF. I am tempted to switch to one of the many other PDF readers which is one less reason for Creative Cloud.
    The default toolbar contains numerous sticky items that I have never needed in the past 15 years, as sticky icons anyway. That little cell phone icon, email, print, and now with Home/Tools/Document alongside with no ability to move them. These fill valuable toolbar space, the result being that side-by-side windows no longer display the toolbar items I actually use. I almost always have PDFs open beside other applications so this means 100% of the time the new design is flawed vs the prior. This is really really basic for any application: personalized toolbars. It was present in WordPerfect in 1993, for example. DC is not to 1993 UI standards.
    Get on this immediately, please. Specifically, get rid of the persistent right pane as many of us clearly do not want to use it "all the time" as is forced. And, allow the top toolbar to be fully customizable so those of us who have been customizing toolbars in our applications since 1993 can do so in this allegedly state of the art PDF reader.

    Using pacaur to upgrade seom AUR packages - namely jre and jdk Iget this set of errors, ad infinitum:
    Due to a change in how Oracle handles the Java SE License Agreement
    you are required to:
    1) accept the license and download the tarball (jre-7u4-linux-x64.tar.gz) yourself:

    2) move it to $startdir (/tmp/pacaurtmp-larry/jre/)

    I have downloaded the java tarball and placed it in the correct directory. Still get same errors as above,

    Thanks for your offering. I have a bit of house cleaning and rearranging due
    to my knowing I bought the CS4 software and had installed it and thinking
    things would work as before I did not realize that by buying and installing
    another software program Proshow Producer on an external HD and then
    learning from the company that it had to be on C:/ to work properly. That
    forced moving other things around, like CS2, CS3 and  CS4 and leaving CS on
    C:/ then reinstalling Producer as CS works fine for the pictures used in
    Producer and all related files on C: as all my other working photos had to
    move with the software!! With 5 and a half terabits on 6 external HD's I got
    careless and did not properly set things set up as I should have in
    anticipation of my current problem and Adobe's programers, not being mind
    readers programmed things to look on C: when CS2,3, and 4 lived elsewhere.
    It's all a mess but I do have my serial numbers and did discover, thanks to
    your Creative Suite Cleaner Tool offering I found a link to Adobe's original
    CS4 trial files that I was told by Adobe were no longer available due to CS6
    and I can re-download CS4 there and use it since at the moment my CS4 is
    hiding from me. I think a clean re-installation should work before running
    the 'cleaner' with its' gottchas.  I shall send a later follw up when things
    are successfully reloaded. If you think of anything else of value, I would
    certainly appreciate your knowledge!
