Readiness check sproxy connection test issue ?

Hi Guys,
we are doing readiness check on the xi system and we went with the TR SPROXY and there we performed connection test as part of readiness check and ran 4 reports.
The last 2 reports SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE and SPROX_CHECK_IFR_CONNECTION are not working. The connection to the integration builder works fine.
According to the readiness check document we shld get a ok response when we execute these 2 reports. any help would be really appreciated
Thanks,
srini

Hi Krishna,
we have dev environment and everything is working fine and the results of all the reports are ok. we are building test and during readiness check we have this problem.
we ran the CTC tool on PI 7.0 and we have all RFCs automatically and all are working fine
In dev i have only 1 HTTP connection - ie INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI. I dont find any other HTTP connections
anyhelp would be really appreciated
Thanks,
srini

  • Cache Connectivity Test Issue..:-)

    Hi XI Guru's ,
Currently i am working on a scenario JDBC-RFC-JDBC scenario using a BPM.
    Issues i am facing....
    1. I have made the polling interval from source table to 10 secs, but i can see table is not getting polled in 10 secs.
    2. On running Cache Connectivity Test I found that It is not working perfectly : as i can see yellow and red symbols frequently..
    3. Sometimes when XI is able to pick the  record it is throwing error in Mapping Runtime
"Runtime Exception during application Java mapping com/sap/xi/tf/_MM_REQ_"..
I checked n no of times in Test Mapping it is working fine...
Mapping is between Async Req Object with  RFC's import parameters...on drilling down further i figured out that values are not getting passed to this RFC ...as when i passed the constant values to RFC it is working fine...
So i am not sure where the the problem ?
<b>Currently i am working on PI 7.0 and SP 9.0 ...ans also we are not using FQDN now...</b>.

    Hi Santhosh ,
    <i>
on drilling down further i figured out that values are not getting passed to this RFC ...as when i passed the constant values to RFC it is working fine...</i>
<i>On passing the constant values in mapping to RFC the scenario is moving smoothly its only the record being picked by JDBC sender adapter not getting passed to RFC through BPM....</i>
Yes. You are having  issue at  Mapping (desing )  side . So,  Even if your JDBC Sender picks up the data it won't send to RFC.  Obsolutly, your  constant value passed to RFC will woks fine .
So, Have you tested like what i have suggested  , like copying the Payload and test the mapping ?
If you are getting the java.lang.NullPointerException . I am 100% sure your mapping is wrong .  Please chek the MAPPING ONCE AGAING !
Are you getting the Target message structure when you are passing the source etructure ?  Executed successfully Message ?
Please chek the Mapping once again . Test teh Interface Mapping too.
Assing points if you found helpful

  • Connection Test issue with newly created INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI in PI7.0

    Hi Pals,
Due to change in password for user "PIISUSER" in our system, i changed the login credentials in sm59 -> INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI.
But the test connection failed, popping up the username/password login dialog again and again.
So i deleted the RFC Connection "INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI" and recreated it with all the care mentioned in the XI installation guide, manually, step by step.
But again the test connection failed, popping up the username/password login dialog again and again.
I tried this exercise for almost 15 times but without success.
NOTE: I am able to login with "PIISUSER" from SAP system Login successfully.
Looking forward for your kind suggestions.
    Thank you!
    Saravanan

    hi
could be the problem with password..we also faced the same problem while using an alphanumeric one.
after changing to a completely numeric one it started working fine

  • Check the connect to DB & SAP

    Hello Guys,
Like R3trans -d for Oracle & SAP.. I wanted to know how to check the connection test for DB2 & sap , Is there any such commend Please let me Know,
    Thanks,

    Hi,
if u want to connect from R3 to any other SAp system like XI/PI,MDM,etc...
u can create a RFC destination in R3 (SM59) and give d IP and credentials in the columns specified.
After that click on Test connection tab which shows the details of connection like time required.
You can even click on Remote Logon to directly log in to the destination system...
Thus u can check d connection
    Reward points if helpful

When I ran the itunes Diagnostics Test for my new  ipad, I had one test result that had a button in front of the test name, which was red.

What does this mean and how can I correct this situation, so the itunes helper is running?

  • Power Bi for o365 - Odata connection test worked but "The server encountered an error processing the request. See server logs for more details". Port 8051? Authority\System

We set up the Data Management Gateway and created a new data source (odata to SQL via sqL user)
Did a connection test and it was successful!
Tried the URL (maybe it needs more):
    https://ourdomain.hybridproxy.powerbi.com/ODataService/v1.0/odatatest
That resolves to some :8051 port address and then spits out this message:
The server encountered an error processing the request. See server logs for more details.
I checked and the data management gateway is running.
Does that 8051 port need to be opened on our firewall for this server? How can I confirm that is the issue.. I see no event on the server indicating this is the issue?
    I am seeing this event:
Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM'. Reason: Failed to open the explicitly specified database 'PowerBiTest'. [CLIENT: IP of the Server]

    O365,
    Is this still an issue?

  • Outlook 2007 won't connect / Autodiscover issues

    Hello Foristas,
I'm stuck ... so I hope someone will point me in the right direction. This is the scenario:
Target: Migrate 2003SBS to EX2013. SBS hat been migrated to 2008R2 AD Server plus EX2010. This went without problems. Outlook and OWA worked just fine. A 2012 AD Server has been added.
EX2013 has been installed on a fresh 2012 Server. Still everything worked. Mailboxes were moved and still everything worked. EX2010 was decomissioned (seemingly in a hurry :-( ) and now users can't connect via Outlook.
Outlook Version (2007) is up to date, OWA works fine. I can't use the external Connectivity Test because I have no access to either external DNS nor Firewallconfiguration. The customer also doesn't need external access.
    Internally I have A-Records for
    exchsrv.intdom.local
    autodiscover.intdom.local
Lookups work fine. I can access https://autodiscover/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml as well as https://autodiscover.intdom.local/.... and exchsrv/autodiscover (I get the invalid request answer)
Certificates are signed by a domain CA, the root certificate is installed and there is no certificate warning when accessing OWA (or EWS, for that matter).
When trying to connect Outlook, I get that "no connection to Exchange - outlook ha to be online" error (like many others ...). When trying to create a new profile, Outlook barfs at "logging on to server" (wording might be different, I'm
    on a german system).
I've double-checked that AutoDiscoverInternalURI is correct (it's autodiscover.intdom.local/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml) as well as AutodiscoverVirtualDirectory InternalUrl is set and correct.
Now here is what is really strange: Out of despair, I just clicked "repair account" and I was able to connect. Once. I could send Mails and receive internally. After restarting Outlook, it was and stayed disconnected. But at least I was able to
run the Outlook Autodiscover diagnostics and what I see: Outlook tries lots of autodiscover.EXTdom.com URIs, but net even tries the internal one. So for testing, I created a host entry on the client pointing autodiscover.EXTdom.com to the internal IP of the
Exchange-Server. I created a new profile and the ran through the assistant and had a working outlook. Once. After restarting, Outlook was disconnected again andcreating a new profile doesn't help. I've recreated that scenario and I'm able to create a working
profile just once and it will only work for the first start.
With the host entry present, when I open https://autodiscover.EXTdom.com/aut.... , a login prompt appears ...
I suspect something fishy in the AD, but I have no more ideas where to look after trying to track that down since yesterday morning.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Chris

  • System Configuration - SAP Web AS Connection - connection tests error

    hi
I have a SAP ECC 6.04 and sap portal 7.01
When I entered in option System Administration / System Configuration / System Landscape / Portal Content Tree / Systems / SAP_ECC (System created by me)
I founded the following error (in  SAP Web AS Connection / Tests the connection to an SAP Web Application Server  )
    SAP Web AS Connection
      Test Details:
The test consists of the following steps:
    1. Checks the validity of system ID in the system object.
    2. Checks if the system can be retrieved from the PCD.
    3. Check whether a SAP system is defined in the system object
    4. Validate the following parameters: WAS protocol; WAS host name
    5. Checks if the host name of the server can be resolved.
    6. Pings the WAS ping service; works only if the service is activated on the ABAP WAS.
    7. Checks HTTP/S connectivity to the defined back-end application
      Results
    1. The system ID is valid
    2. The system was retrieved.
    3. The system object represents an SAP system
    4. The following parameters are valid: Web AS Protocol (http) Web AS Host Name (htc-svr-erp.humantech.es:4200)
    5. The host name htc-svr-erp.humantech.es was resolved successfully.
    6. The Web AS ping service http://htc-svr-erp.humantech.es:4200/sap/bc/ping was not pinged successfully. If the ping service is not activated on the Web AS, you can try to call the ping service manually.
    7. An HTTP/S connection to http://htc-svr-erp.humantech.es:4200 was not obtained successfully; this might be due to a closed port on the Firewall.

  • Readiness Checks fail with "The type initializer for 'Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Tasks.ThrottlingModule`1' threw an exception."

There's another thread about this issue but the accepted answer actually has nothing at all to do with the original problem/question so that's a bit deceptive.
Anyway, when trying to install Exchange 2013 SP1 (on 2012 R2 Datacentre) the installation reaches the Configuring Prerequisites part of the Readiness Checks and then fails out with the message:
The type initializer for 'Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Tasks.ThrottlingModule`1' threw an exception.
I honestly can't find any way around this issue and the only mentions I've seen resulted in people reinstalling Windows which obviously isn't really a resolution to the problem.
Is there any known fix for this issue?

Ok well I've managed to get around that now by recreating a few registry keys and documented that here (apparently I'm not allowed to create links so can't put that here).
I have a new issue now though. It seemed to get almost all the way through the installation process but is now failing due to a "memory" issue although due to the wording I can't tell whether it means RAM or Disk space. Either way, neither should
apply. The drive has 80GB of space available and the machine has 8GB of RAM (only 2GB in use at the time the installer was ran and the amount didn't drop).
    The exact error is...

So if it's not the drive (there's only one drive in the machine) or RAM then what exactly has it ran out of?

  • Error in SAP Web AS Connection Test

Connection Test for Connectors is successful
    But
    SAP Web AS Connection
      Test Details:
The test consists of the following steps:
    1. Checks the validity of system ID in the system object.
    2. Checks if the system can be retrieved from the PCD.
    3. Check whether a SAP system is defined in the system object
    4. Validate the following parameters: WAS protocol; WAS host name
    5. Checks if the host name of the server can be resolved.
    6. Pings the server to see if it is alive.
    7. Pings the WAS ping service; works only if the service is activated on the ABAP WAS.
    8. Checks HTTP/S connectivity to the defined back-end application
      Results
    1. The system ID is valid
    2. The system was retrieved.
    3. The system object represents an SAP system
    4. The following parameters are valid: Web AS Protocol (http) Web AS Host Name (semdev.suzlon.com:8000)
    5. The host name semdev.suzlon.com was resolved successfully.
    6. <b>The server semdev.suzlon.com could not be pinged successfully.</b>
What culd be the pblm ?

    Hi PK,
in R/3 go to SE37 and check the FM RSBB_URL_PREFIX_GET it will show the details for WAS, I believe the details you gave for WAS are fine.
Now for the issue go to T.Code SICF navigate to the webas path and activate the ping service. This will resolve the issue.
    Hope This helps.
    Cheers-

  • SPROXY related testing process

After configuring the ABAP Proxy with SPROXY transaction what is the testing procedure for the connectivity with XI.

    Hi,
As I had already mentioned in one of your previous post, use below reports to execute and check the status of ABAP Proxy.
SPROXY -> Goto -> Test Connection Here you will get the list of reports including below reports. Execute these reports to confirm about ABAP Proxy configuration
    SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE, SPROX_CHECK_IFR_CONNECTION

  • SPROXY CONNECTION

Does someone out there have detailed steps for getting SPROXY to communicate with the integration builder. We have both WAS6.40 SRM system and WAS6.20 with 6.4 kernal R/3 system. The online docs stink in regard to this.
    I ran the connection test,
Put is http://nero.corp.bcm.tmc.edu:52100/rep(same as the exchange profile value the XI server uses to connect in SPROXY) in the SPROXSET table via the program.
    HTTP is functioning
Then when I run IFR Response, the data is not inderstood.
    Any ideas?
    Chris

Here is what we went through, hope this helps!
First, if the back-end system is WAS 6.20, you need to implement not OSS #439915. This involves installing APPINT_620 addin, that will allow connectivity to the integration server for proxies. EVEN IF YOU ARE ON XI3.0, YOU HAVE TO INSTALL THIS ADD-IN EVEN THOUGH IT IS AN XI2.0 ADD-IN.
Second, use SLD check to ensure that you have connectivity to the SLD. If not, there is an SLDCHECK troubleshooting note available, just search for it.
Third, make sure the following two RFC connections are working on the backend system, this is not my expertise, but your basis person should know how to do this:
    1) LCRSAPRFC- type T
       Registered server program
Program name: LCRSAPRFC_DXI the last 3 chars are our XI
                     box sysid
       Populate gateway host and service
    2) SAPSLDAPI- type T
       Registered server program
Program name: SAPSLDAPI_DXI the last 3 chars are our XI
                     box sysid
       Populate gateway host and service
Finally make sure transaction SLDAPICUST is maintained.
Once we did this, the proxy framework was working
