Reading Chinese with Curve 3G

I understand this topic has been discussed, but the solutions provided were unable to solve the problem.
I have BB Curve 3G (9300) with Mobilicity and upgraded to OS 6, but I still cannot read Chinese... so is there any apps or language pack I can download?

Cleary not a common problem.
Has this occured just the once or repeatedly?

How to make an applet with curved edges in the browser

I m doing an applet application in which i want to show an image inside a player in the website. The edges of the player is designed in curved shape. thanksThe only way I can think of would be write a method to convert a "normal" y coord to an applet y coord. That would probably end up being a huge pain in the ass, since you would have to pass all y coords through it before using them, so I suggest you just get used to y being upside down.

Can't get Acrobat 9.3.2 to read Chinese characters or install Chinese fonts

(Please read what I've done already before suggesting solutions.)
I'm using Adobe Acrobat 9.3.2 on Windows XP Professional with administrator privileges, and I just cannot get it to read PDFs in simplified Chinese. (Apparently the Asian fonts weren't installed when my IT people installed Acrobat.) I've downloaded and installed FontPack90_zh_CN.msi. No use. I have gone into Add/Remove Programs, gone to "modify" in the Adobe Acrobat item, and ensured that the Asian fonts are installed through that. Everything seems to go OK, but I still can’t read Chinese PDFs.
When I try to open a Chinese PDF, I get a message saying, "The Simplified Chinese Language Support Package is required to display this page properly." It then offers to install it, and I click "OK". Then it goes through the installation process. But at the end, I get another message saying, "The missing CMap or font was not successfully installed. This could be due to insufficient privileges. Please check with your system administrator to ensure that you have sufficient privileges." Recall that I already have administrator privileges.
Suggestions?

I have the same problem, but I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit. I have Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.3.2 installed. After installation, it reboots my computer, but the same error comes up. After doing this twice, I tried using Control Panel/Programs and Features to Modify the installation and add Simplified Chinese Language Support. That process also completed succssfully (i.e. no error messages) but even after rebooting again, and re-entering control panel, it showed that the support had not been installed. When opening the same document the same message was displayed.
It is clear that Acrobat 9.3.2 has an issue across a number of Windows platforms. Will soneone (anyone?) from Adobe acknowledge this issue?

Serious Malfunction with Curve 9220 since the time it has been bought

Had bought a blackberry curve 9220 in March 2013. Since the time it has been bought, there were network related issues.
In October, this phone got switched off by its own too. FInally after showng up at the service center they got this fixed.
Within a month, the trackpad started to deviate and stopped moving up and down.
Once this error was reported and shown at the service center, I was asked to pay 10000.
This is sheer malfunction and for no reason I have been asked to pay an amount which is more than the cost of the phone itself.
Can someone please reply to this and check into the issue.

Color correcting with curves

I'm following an old tutorial on color correcting images from digital cameras using curves.
1. Is using the curves to color correct more accurate than using levels?
2. It has me enter for shadows: r=20, g=20, b=20 highlights:r=240, g=240, b=240 and midtones: r=128, g=128. b=128 and to save them as defaults. What are these values based on? Are these values good to use for all digital images?
3. It also has me set the default RGB working space to Adobe RGB (1998). Is this still the best color space for working with digital camera images?

No, No, and No.
The long answers are more complicated.
Curves is not more accurate than levels, just different. Curves is just another way to manipulate image data. You can do more complex things with Curves than you can with levels - for example by setting multiple points. Though I'm not quite sure what specific defaults you're being instructed to change, I don't think I'd change any defaults per one tutorial if you're not familiar with Photoshop. Use Photoshop with Adobe's defaults until you understand why you'd want to change them. Otherwise you'll get used to it working a different way than everyone else, and that could cause ongoing confusion.
Your working space choice is basically defining the default way you want to work, and there's no one "right" setting. Your choice will be highly dependent on what you do with your images after you Photoshop them, and how you want it to act when there are choices to be made. Again, I'd suggest leaving it on Adobe's default (sRGB) until after you read up on color management and really understand why you want to use one color space or another. It's a big, complex subject that will take some time to get one's head around, but it's well worth doing.

You're right, I didn't read your question right, so my answer is no. Everything you can do in levels, you can do in curves.
To invert a curve, you just grab the end points of the curve and move them to them so that the cuve line is sloping the other direction. Here are some samples of inverting each of the channels in L*A*B*
Top left: normal; Top right A channel (green-magenta); bottom: left B channel (yellow-blue); and bottom right: lightness.

For one of these messages, go to View > Message > Long Headers and tell us what the Content-Type header says. That is the encoding you need to choose in Message > Text Encoding.

The encodings being used by Mail are already "right" by international standards, but the software being used by your friends apparently requires something else. You can fix it for one of the languages with the info in this note, but the other you would still have to do manually:

Blackberry Desktop Manager won't work with Curve 9310

Can anyone help me troubleshoot why the Blackberry Desktop Manager won't work when I plug my Balckberry Curve 9310 into the USB port. The program freezes and shuts down. If I try to use the device switch wizard I get this message "Fatal Error has occured while updating your device's software. Please try again." I had to purchase a new Blackberry because my provider doesn't work in my new location so I bought StraightTalk Blackberry because I use it for business and I am familar with the phone. I am desparate to get my connections loaded onto my new phone. Help!

Automatic creation of meter reading order with RR 01 after move in

Hi Experts,
I am working with DM module of SAP ISU. Currently I am facing a problem that after move-in a periodic order with RR 01 is created automatically by the system.
Ex: Move in date is 01.01.2010. Monthly Portion is used with Schedule record 01.01.2010, 01.02.2010, 01.03.2010, 01.04.2010 and so on.
If current system date is 20.07.2010 then Meter reading order is created automatically by the system for sch MRD 01.08.2010.
Please let me know how to overcome this problem

I beleive the setting you have suggested is meant for default meter reading during move in but my problem is automatic creation of meter reading order with reason 01 during move in

How to open Adobe Reader DC with Tools Closed

I do NOT like Adobe Reader opening with the right column expanded.
Also in all previous versions I could save my login for protected pdf files and when I open them back up they require a login again. This is NOT how I want to work with Adobe Reader.
Adobe Reader XI was so much better.

Before the DC version we were able to save our passwords from University of Phoenix and when opening the document saved to our computer it would unlock automatically. This new version DC will not allow this even when you say Yes.
The Right Column in previous versions would allow to disable until requested to appear this version it opens regardless.
Just my opinion here Adobe Failed at customer satisfaction on this UPGRADE.

If I may impose on your generosity one more time, if I understand you correctly if I create a document on Word or WordPerfect, print it and scan it to create a pdf, the search function will not work. But, if I create the pdf document in Word the search function will work. Unfortunately, I am not sure how I create a pdf document in Word other than by printing it and scanning it. Acrobat Reader 9 with an Acrobat 5-8 Created Form?

Hello,
I am new to my job working with a ASP application that provides a PDF form (created in Acrobat 5) to users with free form fields the user can fill out. Users have been complaining that when the users upgrade to Acrobat Reader 9 the begin to see a message that "Some features are no longer supported..." and the ability to save a local copy of the file is no longer available. I have 2 questions.
Was the ability to save a local copy of a form with user-entered data ever a feature of Acrobat Reader?
Is that an issue that can be corrected by creating the form with the Acrobat 9 Life-Cycle engine or is that a feature that has forever been removed from Acrobat Reader for security or other reasons?

No I was referring to filled in forms.
So to be clear, the ability to save user filled in information in a form to your local machine as a PDF through Acrobat Reader IS possible, but has to be enabled by opening the form in Acrobat (9 for example) and enabling some feature to allows Reader users to save the information to the PDF file. This feature is limited though and has a 500 use limit per form.
Does that sound correct? Do you know the name of the feature?

There may be some features that are not supported any more but you may not be using them. That message is just a general warning.
As far as saving the filled in form, Reader on it's own has never been able to do it. You would need the newer version of Acrobat to open and enable these forms so that Reader users can save them. Be warned that this feature is meant for small-time use and has a usage limit of 500 submissions per form. You'll want to read and undestand the EULA before planning on using it.
Or do you mean that they cannot save the unfilled form either?
