Reading forwarded attachment prob ?

Hi All,
I developed mail client but i have prob.
suppose [email protected] send attachment to [email protected] and if,
[email protected] forwarded that attachment to my mail client it not able to see that attachment
Since if U forward somthing frm Yahoo then after clicking on forward button U just see forwarded message attached.
Any suggesion or code Plz.

Can Anyone View/Read FORWARDED Email Text?

I can't open/read forwarded emails. They show up as what looks like a document symbol and the words 'mime-attachment'. I know it's a Forwarded Email from the introductory text from the person forwarding it and the 'FW:' in the subject line. When I tap on the symbol or the 'mime' text, nothing happens and I can't read the forwarded email.
I also tried forwarding an email to myself and got the same result: 'mime-attachment' and a symbol, all unreadable. Anyone else have this? Any solutions, thoughts, etc.?

I asked this question in a different iPhone (HoFo)
forum and got no replies. It's irritating that I
can't read forwarded emails on my phone. My brothers
send a lot of forwarded emails and I have to wait
till I can get to my PC to read them.
Is there a place to report these kinds of issues?

Once your message (attachment) is read by the sender CC, you can perform the basic mapping requirement (if any) to convert the mail message fromat to the file format.....configure a receiver FILE CC and send the message...this should be the design...

How can I read mail attachment for making it to the payload?

Hi everybody,
in the following my scenario:
I have an incoming message with attachment by the mail sender adapter using PayloadSwapBean (because of other messages I have to use the bean). I want to send this attachment by using the mail receiver adapter to fix E-mail-address keeping the FromMailAddress, the MailSubject and the FileName
without the metadata as additional attachment.
I have found a thread where it is explained how to handle "payload as mail attachment and dynamic filename" by java-mapping. So far so good. My question is: How can I make my attachment to be the payload? How can I read the attachment by java-mapping?

We have requirement that we have to read the Email from particular Emailid we will get an XML as an attachment and we have to read the attachment with in the email and we have to store the values into database.

I think that is the default behaviour of pop, i do not know how to set a kind of 'leave copy on the server' option. You could switch to the imap protocol if there is an imap server available. You can then choose:
<PostReadOperation>
<MarkAsRead/>
</PostReadOperation>
or
<PostReadOperation>
<DeleteMessage/>
</PostReadOperation>
To change this edit your ns_emails.xml file and fill in the IncomingServerSettings section.
The Reply To is the email address that the sender of the email indicates as address to use in case you would reply to his message.

Our requirement : We are designing a new front end using PHP portal and pull the data from SAP-backend for travel expense/request.
We are able to upload the document to PR05 using frontend portal.
If employee/manger wants to read the attachment in the portal,how to get the documents attached in PR05 to the front end..

I dont want use all the values in my second program I need to pass empno and job only.Since your cursor gets all the columns (using the * is not a good way to code the cursor), that is what your other program will get when it calls pr_test procedure. You will have to FETCH all the columns in that other procedure and discard the ones you do not need.
Alternatively, change the code of cursor to select only the columns you would actually need.

this method in the blog will configure SAP MAIL INBOX for mail read but i want to read mail attachement by PHP function which i will saving in a data table in ABAP say name zmailtable.Actually i already tried this method of configuring mail box but it is creating some problem and not recieving mail in sap mail box. give me the solution related to PHP function for reading attachement.

I wish to use Thunderbird from Reader as Attach to Email

Hi I would like to send pdfs from Reader using attach to email without using Outlook but using thunderbird instead is this possible? I searched adobe.com for thunderbird but got no hits. I know I am very lazy because I know I can insert the file as an attachment from Thunderbird but there is an option in Reader to Attach to email. I have a new lappie and my trial version of MS Office runs out in 2 weeks but even if I buy Orifice my preferred email client is Thunderbird not outlaw. Any suggestions would be appreciated

You can change this from the registry, but careful when you edit the registry so you don't mess up things with the system
Start "regedit", and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail double click the (default) value and make sure it displays the correct client (in your case Mozilla Thunderbird). That did the trick for me!

If you have PDF document attached with your email and you are using windows.
First try right click on any PDF document and choose option Openwith --> Choose default Program.. browse for Reader/ Acrobat. That should help.
Or click the attachment and once you try open it that should ask you to choose application open with if you haven't opened PDF document before.

Why must I pay to read an attachment sent to me when I never hae before. If I must then how do I get

I have been anable to read an attachment sent to me without siging up to pay . This hasn't happened before. If I must how do I get rid of Adobe from my computer.

Ipad cannot forward attachements in email

Whenever my friend forwards me an email with attachements from his iPad the attachments (usually image files) never show up. It not only happens when he sends them to me, but anyone.
I've seen a lot in the discussions with this problem, but haven't been able to find a solution. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What happens when he sends just a single photo? Can you receive other types of attachments from him?

Add_drv fails to attach: probe not called after init

i am trying to add_drv a simple pseudo-device driver. i have basically
copied the pio sample driver code available elsewhere on this website.
i've compiled using forte c5.0, and am trying to load on an ultra 5 running solaris 8.
i have tried loading both 32 bit and 64 bit versions.
as this is a pseudo driver (there is no real device yet... i just want to test the load/unload stuff), i have an xxprobe routine which always returns DDI_PROBE_SUCCESS.
let's say the driver executable is named relidrv, which i copied to /usr/kernel/drv or drv/sparcv9 (depending on 32 vs 64 bit'ness of the build)
i have a simple relidrv.conf which simply contains name="relidrv", parent="pseudo" and instance=0.
then, as root:
add_drv -v relidrv
gives me:
exit status = 0
devfsadm: driver failed to attach: relidrv
exit status = 11
Warning: Driver (relidrv) successfully added to system but failed to attach
i put some cmn_err(CE_WARN,...) calls in init(), probe(), and attach(). the init() call returns 0, all well and good. however, according to my cmn_err output, probe is never called, neither is attach.
suggestions?

in a previous thread by murraystokely, the answer appears. a very big thanks to both mause and murray...
the problem was that the driver itself lived in /usr/kernel/drv/sparcv9, but the conf file should have gone into /usr/kernel/drv.
hint for whoever writes the next revision to the Writing Device Drivers manual... mention this!

Problem in Reading Mail Attachement

I'm facing a problem while reading mail attachments. Java-mail returns null disposition for the below message,but this message has attachment javamail is not considering the mail attachment .I'm using java-mail 1.3.Can anybody help me to solve this problem ?

If you were assuming that every message would have a valid body part
and that they would tell you definitively which parts you should consider to
be "attachments", ya, that won't work. The disposition is a hint at best.
It can be wrong. It might not even be there.
