Reading the I-tunes screen

Probably a dumb question, but: what are the boxes (checked and unchecked) and blue circles that appear in the name column? I've looked and looked with no luck, and thinking that there's probably something useful about them.

Blue circles indicate played status. When dot is there, play of that file has not started.
Checkboxes can affect syncing. There is an option to set iPod to not sync unchecked songs. Checkboxes also affect playback in iTunes. When playing in playlist, unchecked songs will be skipped. Will still play when selected individually.

Hi all,
I have 2 screen fields in a report program. I need to do some process based on the entry in the 1 st field.
But i need press 'enter' after making an entry in the 1st field. I want to read the field dynamically. I was able to find a function module to do it 'DYNP_VALUES_READ'. In this one of the import attribute is the dyname. I give the field name of the 1st field as per its defined in the selection parameter of th report program. And when exectued the function module returns invalid dyprofield.
kindly advise on what should be the dyproname for selection parameter.

just execute the code and try to know where u r getting error in ur code .
in this just give the input as USD(us dollar)
substitute for dynname = sy-cprog in ur code and check that .

Trying to restore iTunes says there is no SIM card. whilst on the iPhone it says the activation server is temporarily unavailable.

How do I remove the LOCK on the Nano I-tunes screen ????

How do I remove the LOCK that shows on the I-tunes screen when I plug in my IPOD (the IPOD sybol on the source list first turns red and then black when I connect). The list screen goes grey and I cannot delete or upload my IPOD. I have downloaded the new software on both I-tunes and IPOD. There is a physical lock shown at the bottom of the I-tunes screen next to the bar showing used/free space on the IPOD. My shuffle works fine.
Thanks for your help. I'm leaving on a 2 week cruise tomorrow and want to reload my IPOD.

What synch method is chosen in iPod Options?
You may be heading for a software reload on the iPod. It's not difficult, but it does require reloading all the audio files as the process completely erases the iPod. Always grab the current version of the software from http://www.apple.com/ipod/download
Run that download, which installs an iPod program on your system. Then start that program from Start menu, All Programs, iPod... Connect the iPod, and tell the software to do a Restore operation.

When updating get a message that reads the disk could not read or write -

i downloaded several songs from cd (only some cd do not update )- all loaded up well in i tunes - but when i update - i get a message on the i tunes screen "attempting to copy to the disk david i pod faults - the disk could not read or write- i reinstalled the updated software and i tones software and same problem - only some cd will not update - but they are diffinately in itunes- i can play them on my computer

I updated my I pad yesterday with the ISO 7.04 . Now it just has a black screen. When I hold the button on the right hand down for 10 seconds, I first very briefly get the Apple Logo, than immediately the I-Tunes sign with a plug sign. I cannot get anything else working. I did not have I-tunes on my i-pad since the file is large, but have it on my MAC . So how can I get my I-pad working again????

This solved all my problems. It took a while, about 87 minutes for the complete "restore to factory setting" and after that about 30 minutes to put all my contacts etc. back on.
It did'nt matter how long it took, I have my I-Pad back and that is great.

How do I get Firefox to DISPLAY a font as clear and clean as Word? I choose different fonts in Firefox and sizes and nothing really happens.

I'm sorry. I missed your response earlier today.
You will need to use recovery mode. You can start iTunes on your computer first. Then you plug the cable into the computer, hold down the home button on the iPad and plug the cable into the iPad.
Use recovery mode
Recovery mode erases your device and restores it, which should resolve the issue. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you may be able to restore from your backup after recovery.
Turn off your device. If you can't turn it off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time and wait a few seconds for it to turn off.
Plug the device's USB cable into your computer only.
Hold down the device's Home button as you connect the USB cable to it.
When you see the Connect to iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 one more time.
iTunes should open and display a message such as: "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."
Use iTunes to restore your device.

Sorry to hear you are having a similar problem. Last night I went to the tool bar at the top of iphoto, clicked on "File", then clicked "Browse Backups" in the drop down menu.    I have an external hard drive that is set up to Time Machine.   The Browse Backups opened the iphoto pages in the Time Machine. I selected a date one day ahead of the day I performed the now infamous update, and it showed my iphoto library as it had existed that day.   I then clicked "Restore Library" at the bottom right corner of the Time Machine screen.   Roughly 2 hours later my iphoto was back to normal.   When I opened iphoto there was a message saying I need to upgrade my program to be compatible with the new version of iphoto(version 9.2.1). I clicked "Upgrade" and within seconds it had done whatever upgrading it needed to do.
The only glitch in the restoration was that it restored the library as it appeared last week, so I no longer had photos I had imported this past weekend.   I simply went back to the Browse Backups in the drop down menu, when Time Machine opened I selected the page showing my pictures from this weekend and again said to Restore Library.   Roughly 45 minutes later the library was restored including the most recent photos.
I am now a happy camper.
I don't know if any of this will be of help to you because your email says you are having trouble with photos imported after the upgrade was performed.   Have you had any pop up notices when you first open iphoto, that tell you you need an upgrade to be compatible with the new iphoto?     If so have you clicked "upgrade"?
Good luck Liz, if you have Time Machine running as a back up to your library, maybe you wil be able to get help there, by following my instructions above.   Otherwise,   good luck with your investigations.   I'd be interested in hearing how you make out.

From System Preferences, Mouse, Point & Click, Secondary click. Go to it hover over Secondary click and watch the short video sequence change it left right, left right, you will see exactly what is does. No I do not think your Mouse is defective, you simply need to take control of your Mouse finger.

If the messages are stored on the device and you can power the device up you can use the application posted at https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/770529 , the application has a screen capture option and you can use the screen as a guide to install MyBackup from Market or a number of backup apps from Market and then you can run the applications and backup data to your SD Card to restore to the replacement device.

Whenever I leave the main VI screen, the data is no longer able to be read.

I have a VI that I have used on and off on a test stand of mine for a year and a half. Yesterday, I ran it for the first time in about a month, and the VI had developed a peculiar problem. Whenever I leave the main VI screen and go back to it, data is no longer able to be read. By "leaving the main VI screen" I mean bringing up another Windows program into the foreground, or switching to the diagram screen of the VI I'm running, or even using one of the buttons on the main VI to bring up a sub VI screen. If I stop and then restart the VI, then everything is fine again. All data is read perfectly for hours on end until I leave the screen and then it goes nuts.

ve 4 boards that are being read by the program, and all of the inputs from one of the boards go haywire in this way. The inputs from the other three boards are always fine, and all inputs from the one board always aren't. The inputs include both pressure transducers and thermocouples. I also want to stress that the program worked fine for a year and a half until yesterday. Now, it doesn't. The board that has problems is an SCXI-1102, if that makes a difference, but I really get the impression that it is a software problem.
I originally thought it might be that the sub VIs had been changed in such a way as to not allow them to close properly except that the problem persists even when I simply switch back and forth between the diagram and front panel. In this case, I haven't touched anything in the program! I also thought that there might not be enough disk space on the computer, so I just cleared 100 Meg off my hard drive yesterday, but the problem persists. Does this problem

Interesting. I thought about posting the same answer, because I, too have had the same experience with video drivers. I wasn't sure if this was a problem that anybody else was having, but evidently it is.
If you dig deep down into LabVIEW manuals, it does make a suggestion to drop the colors to as few as you need. My driver was having problems with 16 million colors, so I dropped it to 256. All my problems disappeared when I did this, too.
